Hebei Zhengding Ancient City IV Rongguo Mansion, Yanghe Tower

During Zhengding, I visited Rongguo Mansion. It is located at No. 51, Xingrong Road, Zhengding County. It is an antique building built for the filming of the TV series "Dream of Red Mansions". The houses and furnishings are similar, so if you have time, you can take a look around. Rongguo Mansion tickets are 40 yuan for adults, 20 yuan for seniors and students over 60 years old, and free for people over 70 years old.

In 1983, CCTV was planning to shoot the TV series "Dream of Red Mansions" and sought local governments to build a temporary location base for "Rongguo Mansion". The Zhengding County Party Committee and the county government saw business opportunities and believed that building "Rongguo Mansion" into a permanent building would boost tourism in Zhengding County along with "Dream of Red Mansions". So they sent someone to contact CCTV, and the Zhengding County Party Committee and the county government set up a special agency to prepare for the establishment of "Rongguo Mansion". It is the first of its kind in the construction of movie theaters in the whole country.

In December 1984, Rongguo Mansion broke ground. In July 1986, Rongguo Mansion was successfully completed after one year and eight months. It covers an area of more than 40,000 square meters, with 215 large and small rooms and 102 corridors. The project investment is 3.5 million yuan, and the total construction area is 4,600 square meters. The buildings of Rongguo Mansion are divided into east, middle and west roads. The west road is the Chuihua Gate, the hall, the flower hall, Jiamu’s main house, and Sister Feng’s house in turn; the middle road is the gate of the mansion, the outer instrument gate, the south hall, the inner instrument gate, the Rongxi hall, and the rear wall; the east road is Mrs. Wang’s courtyard, Jia pardon. In the same year, the crew of "Dream of Red Mansions" filmed in Rongguo Mansion for nearly two months, with more than 2,000 shots. Among them, "Concubine Yuan Visiting Relatives" and "Qin Keqing's Funeral" were all filmed in Rongguo Mansion.

The Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall is located in the southeast corner of Rongguo Mansion. It covers an area of 960 square meters. It is a courtyard with two entrances. There are 23 rooms in the courtyard. , Six parts of the exhibition of folk utensils.

Rong Guo Mansion

Ningrong Street is located on the right side of Rongguo Mansion. It is an antique commercial street with a length of 200 meters and a total of 51 shops. In front of the shops, there are signs and guises imitating the Qing Dynasty, just like an ancient market.

During Zhengding, I visited Yanghe Tower, one of the ninth floors of the "Nine Towers, Four Towers and Eight Great Temples" in the ancient city. It is located in the middle section from the center of Zhengding County to the South Gate, across Yanzhao South Street. It was first built in the late Jin Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty, and was repaired in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Lou Qiying is built on a high and open brick platform. There are round arched doors under the platform, one on the left and one on the left, and pedestrians, carriages and horses can pass through. Taiwan is established. What makes people sad today is that Yanghe Building was demolished and rebuilt in the 1960s.

In front of the building (south) is the relevant emperor temple. There are archways, flagpoles and lions in front of the temple. Inside the archway is a gate, and inside the gate is a T-shaped palace.
