I have always wanted to live in a courtyard homestay, because I also had a courtyard when I was a child. Hesu Homestay is located in Yaoguanling Village, Yanqing, an ancient village with a population of less than 50. It is about 4 kilometers away from Yongning Ancient Town. There are several small homestays with different styles in the village. The architectural features are distinctive and complement the overall environment of the village. The wild atmosphere, and the background of the homestay also make the originally plain village become full of vigor and vitality.
Hesu · Tingfeng is one of the courtyards of Hesu B&B. When I arrived at the reception center, the housekeeper took me to the small courtyard. When I opened the door, the tree was full of red hawthorns, which were attractive in color and looked very cute. I suddenly remembered that behind the yard where I lived when I was a child, there was a big apple tree that bloomed in spring and ripened in autumn, and the branches were heavy and red.
The main building is a single-family loft duplex. The living room is bright and spacious. The spiral staircase, tasseled tapestry, oil painting, wooden bookshelf, tea table, lazy sofa... The layout is comfortable and warm, with a warm artistic atmosphere. With the owner's meticulous care, the INS is full of wind, which can be described as a scene at a time.
There are five bedrooms: parent-child room, tatami room, open double room, twin room, etc., which can accommodate 15-17 people, and each bedroom is equipped with an independent toilet.
The side building is a chess and card room and a restaurant, where you can play cards and have dinner with friends, DIY food by yourself, or sit in the yard to barbecue, drink skewers, and talk about life.
There are stairs near the wall of the side building, and you can climb to the roof to enjoy the scenery. In the yard, there are hawthorn trees, a swimming pool and a small sandpit for children to play with sand. There are deck chairs under the trees, so you can enjoy the shade and take a nap under the trees in summer.
During the day, the warm sunshine shines into the room through the large glass windows, drink tea, read a book, be in a daze, let go, even if you don’t feel bored all day long, at night, the bright moon rises, and your heart beats in the quiet countryside. Appreciating the twinkling starry sky on the roof, falling asleep with the chirping of insects, lying in the soft quilt, even dreaming is extraordinarily sweet.
In the morning, wake up to the melodious singing of birds, and enjoy the free breakfast delivered by the staff, including hot porridge, buns, eggs, side dishes and other authentic farm breakfasts.
