High-speed rail: Nanjing South Railway Station - Beijing South Railway Station

Lunch: McDonald's near the hotel

Dinner: Western Restaurant of Beijing Jiaotong University

Bus: Beijing Desheng Hotel - Fengtai West Railway Station - Beijing Jiaotong University - Beijing Desheng Hotel

Accommodation: Beijing Desheng Hotel (Price: 308)

Reason for choosing: The location of the hotel is good. Although it is not adjacent to the subway, it is also very convenient to travel by bus. Because the reservation is early, the price of the summer vacation in the capital is very cost-effective in such a location. There is a restaurant on the second floor of the hotel, and it is very convenient to eat around.

Arrive at Nanjing South Railway Station early in the morning and board the high-speed train bound for the capital Beijing. This time is not an easy summer vacation trip, but a competition trip. Since the beginning of this year, I have passed two rounds in the online preliminary competition, and I am really happy to be able to go to the capital to participate in the national finals. The final is the way of on-site defense interview and exhibition board display. Before the child set off, he said humorously: "I want to conquer the judges with my appearance!" It can be seen that he has a relaxed attitude. Let's go!

I deliberately asked for leave to come to Beijing two days in advance, and I can stop by to see the train elements in Beijing. I have been to Beijing many times, and the size of Beijing cannot be covered by several visits. We always have different themes every time. Although the theme this time is competition, chasing cars has always been the main theme of our lives and the main route of travel.

First stop: Fengtai West Station

Address: Fengtai District, Beijing

Before leaving Nanjing, my friend had two spare Beijing monthly pass cards for me to take with me. With these two monthly pass cards, it is much more convenient to take the bus and subway in Beijing. Check in at the hotel, wash up a bit and then head to Fengtai West Railway Station. It is difficult for ordinary people to understand a marshalling station as a stop of a trip, and it is the first stop. For us chasing cars, this is a must-go place in every city. Every time we arrive in a city, we will go to its railway station, especially the historic old station, or even the old station that has been abandoned; Can perceive the economic development in this city. I have described this station in detail in the series of travel notes of "Family with Car Fans": http://you.ctrip.com/travels/nanjing9/3739645.html

Second stop: Beijing Jiaotong University

Address: No. 3, Shangyuan Village, Haidian District, Beijing

School Motto: Knowing and Doing

For train fans, Beijing Jiaotong University must be the most desirable institution of higher learning. The moment I saw Beijing Jiaotong University, I could see that the child's eyes were shining. The first time I came to the North Node was last autumn. I walked alone in the most beautiful season of the North Node. Walking with my children this time, the sense of familiarity brought to me by the campus seems to be visiting old friends. The Ximen of Beijing Jiaotong University is simple and simple, just like its school motto - Zhixing, the simple and simple words have long aftertaste and profound artistic conception.

The student service center on the right side after entering the door is a comprehensive logistics support station for students.

Jiaotong University Gymnasium on the left

The Zhixing Avenue runs through the east and west of the campus

In the western restaurant in the Student Service Center, we decided to experience the food of Jiaotong University first. There are not many students here during the summer vacation, and the dining environment is clean and warm.

The school canteen is affordable and the quantity is sufficient.

After coming out of the western restaurant, it was already dark, and the brightly lit stadium was full of citizens exercising, bustling with activity.

Jiaotong University's School History Museum

Came to the main building of Jiaotong University - Siyuan Building. The brightly lit classrooms in the main building are filled with tireless students. The sculptures in front of the large lawn of the square include the school emblem and five pillars symbolizing the five famous institutions of higher learning on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Under the column is the spring water gushing out continuously, which means thinking about the source of drinking water. Thinking of the source and going far, the five schools go together. Under the sculpture is surrounded by lotus leaves in summer, adding a hint of coolness.

Statue of Chairman Mao in front of the Faculty of Science

The College of Transportation, this college is also the major that children yearn for the most. Leave a memorial here, and hope to be a member here next year!

Because the weather was not early, I didn't take more photos while browsing the campus. Just keep the grass, the square, the college, and the library in mind, and hope that next year I can spend the best years of my youth here as I wish!

Breakfast: Big Lazy Dragon

Lunch: KFC near Peking University

Dinner: Desheng Hotel

Bus: Beijing Desheng Hotel - China Railway Museum - 798 Art Street - Peking University - Beijing Desheng Hotel

Accommodation: Beijing Desheng Hotel (Price: 308)

Breakfast: Big Lazy Dragon

Address: No. 23-95, Huangsi Street, Madian

In an alley on the east side of the hotel, there is a traditional Beijing breakfast shop - Big Lazy Dragon.

The store is clean and tidy, and there are quite a lot of varieties, which are very northern.

There are not many people dining, and many of them are take-out, leaving in a hurry.

For my breakfast, this steamed bun reminds me of the steamed bread I ate in Beijing when I was a child, the authentic cornmeal, which has a strong fragrance that lingers on the tip of my tongue. Wowotou in the south is mostly made of flour and glutinous rice, which has a completely different taste.

Ants are here to join in the fun

First stop: China Railway Museum:

Address: North of No. 1 Jiuxianqiao North Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing

Tickets: No big tickets are required, 20 yuan tickets for the locomotive and vehicle exhibition hall

Today's first stop is the China Railway Museum. I have been shaking on the bus for more than an hour from the hotel location, looking at the street view of Beijing from west to east. I have detailed information about the China Railway Museum in the series of travel notes "Car Fans at Home": http://you.ctrip.com/travels/beijing1/3729335.html

Second stop: 798 Art Street:

Address: Jiuxianqiao Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing

There is also a film museum not far from the Railway Museum, which is what we want to know, but it is a pity that it is under renovation. So we chose 798 Art District. Take a taxi, stop at Jiuxianqiao Road, we get off and walk to No. 798 Road.

The predecessor of Block 798 was a state-owned electronics factory in the period of rapid industrial development in New China. After decades of changes, it is no longer a bustling industrial base, but has become the most symbolic art and cultural landmark in Beijing.

The sculptures of artists placed everywhere in the streets and corners are dizzying. Novel ideas, unique shapes, and unique materials are all so ingenious.

798 Road runs through the block from east to west.

Zhu Bingren Art Museum

The front of the museum and the windows show the artistic thinking and ideas of Zhu Bingren, the only national master of arts and crafts in the field of Chinese bronze sculpture.

The wall is the cheapest and most practical canvas in the world. The gorgeous and bold graffiti shows the most contemporary outdoor art behavior on the walls, door faces, bricks and stones of old factories.

The seemingly random graffiti shows the spirit of punk and original passion of bohemian.

The streets and alleys in the 798 block

The tall red brick factory building shows its roughness, and one wall is a huge mural work "798 Map". The entire wall is created according to the actual structure of 798, and every building can see its shadow on the wall. This mural map not only realizes the functionality of the map but also vividly depicts the complex relationship between traffic and people. It is a vivid image of the vitality of nature and the moving energy of the city.

The building now serves as the "Hyundai Automobile Cultural Center". The entire exhibition hall was transformed from a two-story building. I thought it was an automobile-themed exhibition center. I didn't know until I entered that it could not be regarded as an automobile cultural center in the accurate sense. It is a complex. There are "book bar" and "coffee bar" on the first floor of the exhibition hall. Under the warm light here, you can flip through a book and enjoy the elegance and calmness of "stealing a half-day leisure in a floating life".

The shared LED screens on the first and second floors show the advanced technology of modern cars and the vision of clean energy in the future. From this screen display, you can know that you are in the center of modern automobile culture. An ethereal-inspired staircase leads to the space on the second floor. The second floor is an environmentally friendly art palace.

The Water System Museum shows the preciousness of the earth's water and calls on everyone to cherish water resources.

Let's protect the earth!

The spatial sense of art is full of psychedelic colors.

Artist Sa Zi set off from Beijing in 2012 with a small tree on his back, and walked back to Xinjiang by hiking and sleeping in the open. The journey was 3,800 kilometers and lasted 133 days. This "One Tree" map is his walking route. Groups of photos are the records of his walking.

Walk with your back on your back and never take any means of transportation. Sa Zi hopes to carry a tree back to his hometown in this way, and bring the tree that symbolizes his own life back to the land where he lived.

This is the tent in which he camped.

2,000 pieces of natural rock salt from the Himalayas are combined here to form Mount Gang Rinpoche.

The mood of the background.

Red dinosaur sculpture, but I don't understand why the dinosaur is in a cage.

Behind it is the famous Ullens Center for Contemporary Art. The industrial plant that retained the architectural style of the 1950s was transformed into an art space suitable for holding international large-scale exhibitions and brand events.

There are four exhibition spaces: the large exhibition hall, the middle exhibition hall, the long corridor and the corridor, as well as multi-functional halls such as the Yue Gallery, the theater, the lecture hall, the large living room, and the salon.

The interior of the entire building is dominated by white, supplemented by dark gray. The space is decorated with iron pieces, stainless steel, glass and other materials, highlighting a simple and original industrial aesthetic.

Looking back at this industrial-style UCCA space, even the casual people at the door seem so artistic.

798 Bridge Art Space is full of artistic atmosphere from inside to outside.

There is a whole row of huge rectangular old warehouses under the towering chimneys, neatly lined up from south to north, with red brick dry walls. The upper part of the house is transparent glass, making great use of natural lighting.

A beaming redtail fish in the square

The Ullens Art Store transformed from a factory building is the pioneer of the professional operation mode of limited edition artworks in China.

The store is still mainly white, supplemented by gray. The whole space is white, with white walls, white shelves, gray brackets and partitions in different shades, and the simple and pure colors give people a pure and extreme sense of healing. A gray framed shelf looks like a cabin suspended in the air. Here are original and forward-looking creative products for art and design lovers.

The "King Kong" of excellent art is ready to emerge.

The Locomotive Plaza in 751 Fashion Design Plaza is the place we are deliberately looking for here. The location of 751 Fashion Design Plaza was formerly the Beijing Zhengdong Gas Factory. Zhengdong Group's 751 factory is a construction product of the country's "First Five-Year Plan" period. It once undertook one-third of the gas supply task in Beijing. "Coal to gas" made Zhengdong Group gradually fade out of the historical stage, and in 2003, it officially ceased production.

There is a steam locomotive 0751 for industrial and mining parked on the locomotive square. The dark body with bright red wheels carries people's nostalgia for the industrial age. The collision of rails and locomotives, red and black brings a strong visual impact in nostalgia.

Adjacent to the train tracks is a coffee shop converted from an old platform. The space on the upper and lower floors, and the carriage behind the locomotive are also part of the coffee shop.

The towering gray water tower on the square is an absolute landmark.

798 Art Factory on the west side of Locomotive Square. In fact, 798 and 751 are not the same park, they are just adjacent to each other, one is the art district and the other is the fashion design plaza.

In 798, there are more old factory buildings that survived. And 751 is an old gas plant left over from the last century. There are more large-scale steel buildings and machines and even railways for factories.

Fashion Design Plaza A8 across the street from Locomotive Plaza

Xiaoke Theater, with liver-red bricks and tiles, and a square structure, retains the framework of industrial plants in the 20th century.

Opposite Xiaoke Theater is an indoor botanical garden with LOFT structure. Unique architectural space, LOFT tall and open space, transparent glass floor-to-ceiling windows, surrounded by green vegetation, lush flowers and plants, entwined vines, just like the illusion of stepping into a dream forest.

Tall chimney, that's furnace No. 5

There are factory buildings and old warehouses of various forms and specifications everywhere. Under the rough and primitive brackets, the walls are the most essential cement color. Walking through the scattered factory buildings, you will accidentally encounter avant-garde works of art among the mottled brick walls and mottled pipes.

There are no uniform industrial elements in factories, warehouses, dormitory buildings, and tall waterway vehicles. Elegant space and rough and powerful structure are their common characteristics.

Old factory workshops are transformed into galleries, bookstores, theaters, restaurants, cafes... They don't stick to one form, and they gather here lively. This is the unique charm of 798.

One of the shops in the factory - primary color life. The white door frame on the brick-red brick wall and the white hooked window interpret a kind of original color life realm of myself.

Every piece of heaven and earth here, every factory building shows a different style after later processing and creation. "Spread space" is the concept of space spread. The glass-enclosed staircase at the corner of the building's facade is used to show the continuous climbing of the space. The combination of pink and white, and the selection of glass materials make this the softest and warmest part under the tough structure of the brick wall. The simple gray on the main wall and the large-area white surface spread the interior space outwards infinitely, giving people infinite tension. With the gentle embellishment of pink, it has a romantic atmosphere.

Fifty Six Flowers Art Space

The Transformers at the door and the steam locomotive will immediately make boys' eyes shine. Walking into the store, there are so many super cool wrought iron cars, small planes, robots... densely occupying the space and corners.

Small objects are mostly iron and unique. This is not so much a store as a small collection. It is a kind of beauty that iron objects give people a sense of vicissitudes, and each one carries a memory and a story. The Changjiang 750 in the upper left corner of the picture is known as a living fossil in the motorcycle industry. I remember that when I was a child, I was born and raised in a third-tier factory, and I, the second generation of the third-tier factory, had done this kind of three-wheeled motorcycle more than once. wind.

Under the appearance of reinforced concrete, every small shop here is full of warmth. The decoration is not gorgeous, but it is both emotional and cultural. Reading Romance - parent-child library, only for a period of dedicated reading time.

The mix and match here is not only reflected in the architecture, the old German-style factory buildings and the utopia of modern art, traces and modernity, fashion and tradition, the West and the East... meet, collide and merge here. Even this small shop, with its fresh fruit green color, is a shop that sells skewers from Chengdu. There must be some unexpected mixes and matches! Here it is mixed, contradictory but harmonious.

If you are not savoring carefully, look for full historical traces carefully. The sense of modernity here, the atmosphere of art and leisure is selflessly and seamlessly embedded in every crack of the brick, permeates the air, and envelops you deeply.

The area of Block 798 is not small, and the streets and alleys are vertical and horizontal. If you want to take a closer look, it may not be enough to spend a few days. And we basically just went from west to east along the 798 road, and didn't take a detailed look. We just walked by to infect the atmosphere here, and tried to capture the main color here, but it was actually very difficult, because it is too rich here. Come here and experience it! Whether you are a nostalgic fan, a perfectionist, an anime maniac, or a two-dimensional girl, here, there are always some places waiting for you! In fact, I’m just a big person without any artistic talent. When I walk here, I don’t pay attention to its style or theme. I just feel comfortable wherever I go, and it’s fine if it looks good. Don't do anything, don't think about anything, let go of your mind, just look for those points that make you curious and surprised, and just spend this good time.

It was almost evening after getting out of 798, and the child proposed to visit Peking University. The bus swayed to Summer Palace Road, first replenished energy at KFC, and went out to the southwest gate opposite, but a certificate was required to enter the campus of Peking University. The security master is absolutely Bao Gong, stern and selfless. You can only walk north along the Summer Palace Road for several miles. This high wall encloses Peking University in the campus. Such a scene still makes people sigh. When we reached the west gate, it was already past six in the afternoon, and there were still crowds of people in front of the gate. Peking University in the summer vacation is the yearning place for children all over the country! Peking University needs to make an appointment online, and it is necessary to make an appointment in advance to see this scene. Different markets have different business opportunities. There is a lot of scalpers here, you can take us to the campus for a visit without making an appointment, just pay him the fee. We directly declined. Beijing, the cultural center of the country, has a large number of colleges and universities. There are eight colleges and universities densely packed on the North Third Ring Road where we stayed. Only Peking University and Tsinghua University require an appointment, and other universities open their doors to welcome every tourist who likes them. A stranger next to me communicated with me. They were three people traveling together. The scalper asked for 400 yuan, and she was still struggling. We didn't struggle and left here and went back to the hotel.

Go back to the hotel for a rest, and call the restaurant on the second floor to make an appointment for a few hours to eat. When it was time to dine at the restaurant on the second floor, the child finally had the Peking duck he had been thinking of. I am not a foodie, and I have no requirements for food. In life, I have the attitude that as long as I don't do it myself, it's fine to have a full stomach. I have always disapproved of taking pictures while eating, especially when there are many people together, so I rarely post pictures in my travel notes. If I am not used to it, I will often ignore it. When I remember to leave a photo, the dishes have already become the leftovers of this picture.

Address: 19 Xinjiekouwai Street, Haidian District, Beijing

School motto: learn to be a teacher, act as a model

I didn't go to Peking University, and I must feel the cultural atmosphere of Beijing's higher education institutions. Desheng Hotel has a unique geographical location at Madian Bridge on the North Third Ring Road. Surrounding Beijing Normal University, University of Posts and Telecommunications, University of Political Science and Law, Film Academy, Shouti, Beijiao, Beihang University, University of Geosciences, City University, University of Science and Technology... Here you will feel that the air is full of cultural atmosphere . Because of time constraints, we chose Beijing Normal University, which is closest to the hotel, for a walk. Walk 800 meters to the east gate of Beijing Normal University.

Beijing Normal University is a comprehensive national key university featuring teacher education, educational science and basic arts and sciences. Its predecessor was the Normal Hall of the Capital University Hall founded in 1902; in 1912, it was renamed Beijing Higher Normal School. In 1923, the school was renamed Beijing Normal University, becoming the first normal university in Chinese history. In 1931, Peking Women's Normal University merged into Beijing Normal University. In 1950, Chairman Mao personally inscribed the school name for Beijing Normal University; in 1952, Fu Jen Catholic University was merged into Beijing Normal University. On the occasion of the centennial anniversary in 2002, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and Beijing Municipality decided to focus on building Beijing Normal University; in May 2002, the Ninth Party Congress of Beijing included Beijing Normal University in the ranks of world-class universities that support the construction .

Opposite several polytechnic buildings is the artistic Tin Ka Ping College of Art Education

The school motto of Beijing Normal University is also the spirit of Beijing Normal University

Industrialist Tian Jiabing, his name has nothing to do with the rich, but is closely connected with education and philanthropy. Tin Ka Ping Secondary School and Tin Ka Ping Academy of Arts, which stand tall in various places, also stand in people's hearts.

Tian Jiabing Art Education Academy relies on the Art Department of Beijing Normal University with a history of 80 years, including film and television, music, art, dance, calligraphy, drama and other professional teaching, scientific research, experimental rooms, and public art education comprehensive rooms, etc. .

In this way, from the east gate to the west gate of Beijing Normal University.

Second stop: Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications

Address: No. 10, Xitucheng Road, Haidian District, Beijing
School motto: Virtue, erudition, dedication, fun

Across Xingtan Road from Beijing Normal University is Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Founded in 1955, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, formerly known as Beijing Institute of Posts and Telecommunications, is the first university of post and telecommunications established in New China. It is currently a "211" key university directly under the Ministry of Education. A multidisciplinary university featuring information technology, engineering as the main body, and coordinated development of engineering, management, arts and sciences is an important training base for information technology talents in my country.

Entering the gymnasium lined up on both sides of the east gate,

Swimming pool, ball game hall, gymnasium.

A science hall with an extremely simple shape.

A bust of Professor Ye Peida. Mr. Ye Peida is a famous expert in microwave communication and optical fiber communication, the third president of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The silver-gray main building is the tallest building in BUPT. The tall rectangle looks unusually solid and heavy. There are side buildings on both sides, slightly embracing, in the shape of taking off. In addition to being used for teaching and experiments, the main building is also used for the school administration of BUPT.

No. 1-4 teaching buildings and the main building form a closed shape, with an open garden square in the middle.

On the square, there is a statue of Chairman Mao in front of the main building. The statue was built during the Cultural Revolution. The chairman calmly waved to the west, with a serene and imposing manner.

The school motto stone on the square is engraved with the school motto "Great Virtue, Erudite, Dedicated, Happy Group", reminding teachers and students to keep it in mind.

Opposite the main square is the west gate of Beiyou. There is a relatively wide granite-paved pedestrian path between the west gate and the main square. The pavement pattern is based on the world's first telegraph code Morse code, and the text of the school motto is laid out in front of the school motto stone. The school motto, Morse Code, represents the communication characteristics of BUPT and has become the characteristic business card of BUPT. Surrounded by evergreen tall trees, lush and vibrant.

The teaching building under the shade of green

The intersection of Time Square is decorated with various vegetation scattered high and low.

Looks like an unassuming library. A group of stainless steel sculptures stands in the square in front of the museum, revealing the characteristics of communication.

Student Development Center

Beautiful student dormitory, the garden between the buildings is open and eye-catching.

The buildings on the north side of the campus have more colors, appearing lively and vivid in the greenery.

The coffee shop with the glass curtain wall on the other side of the turquoise lawn makes this institute of technology full of romantic tones.

The child will report to a school in Changping in the afternoon and officially enter the competition schedule, so these two schools have left among the many institutions of higher learning. From the north gate of Beiyou, take a two-stop bus directly to Huguosi Snacks (Madian Branch) by the Madian Bridge.

Just by looking at the popularity here, you can see how close it is to the people. Bustling with people, they lined up to the door with the self-service tray. Fortunately, there were two people, one in line to order food and the other to wait for a seat. Most of the diners in the restaurant are local people. A dozen yuan can be enough for one person, and it can also be mixed with meat and vegetables. There is such a restaurant near my home, which really saves the trouble of cooking by myself, especially in the hot weather. summer.

Third stop: Beijing Huijia Private School

Address: No. 157, Changhuai Road, Changping District, Beijing

After lunch, go back to Desheng Hotel to pick up your luggage, take the bus and transfer to Metro Line 13, and get off at Shahe Higher Education Park Station on Changping Line. The main committee of the competition took us to the school by car, and when we got off the underground garage, the children officially entered the competition schedule, and parents were not allowed to enter.

I have already booked the Home Inn (Shuitun Branch, Changping Science and Technology Park, Beijing), and I plan to play in Changping for a few days and wait for the children to finish the game and return to Ning together. Take a Didi from school and go directly there.

Check-in hotel: Home Inn (Shuitun Branch, Changping Science and Technology Park, Beijing)

Reason for booking: The price, the price of the capital hotel is really... the express hotels near the Changping subway cost more than 300. The price of this hotel matches that of an express hotel. You need to take the bus three stops away from the subway, but it is very convenient to have multiple buses when you go out. The hotel is the closest to the children's school.

Pros: Good service (because the hotel is on the side of the road, I, a light sleeper, can only ask the waiter for a room not facing the street, and the front desk quickly arranges it.) The overall configuration and hygiene of Home Inns are just like Home Inns. . It's not bad to have a few small restaurants for dinner, so I ate several meals at Yunfeng Building a few steps away.

Disadvantages: If you use the navigation, the destination will be directly entered into the hotel, and the navigation will only take you to the bus, so it is better to directly enter the destination of Changping subway station when navigating, and it will be more convenient and faster to transfer to other places in Changping. It was really hard to find this hotel for the first time, although it is on the side of Shuinan Road, it is difficult to find. In fact, you can directly navigate to the Shuitun furniture, electrical appliances and hardware market. The facade ten meters west of the entrance of the market is Home Inn.

D4:

Lunch: Beihang Supermarket

Dinner: Yunfeng Building

Bus and subway: Home Inn——Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics——Home Inn

Accommodation: Home Inn (Beijing Changping Science and Technology Park Shuitun Branch) (price 237 yuan)

Waiting alone should also arrange your own itinerary. I made an appointment with my best friend, who had studied at Beihang University for a year, and suddenly wanted to go back to Beihang University to have a look. Tell me to take me to Beihang Airlines to see the plane. Maybe it's a coincidence, maybe it's understanding, you know that I also like campus tours! Great plan, let's go. Still take the subway Changping Line and transfer to Metro Line 13. The Changping Line of the Beijing Subway is a suburban subway line that connects the urban areas of Beijing and Changping. It starts from Xierqi Station in the south and ends at Xishankou Station in Changping in the north. Xi'erqi Station can seamlessly connect to Line 13 of the Beijing Subway. Line 13 is Beijing's first all-surface urban rail railway, and it is the subway line with the most transfer stations. The all-ground track railway is a good carrier for tourism. There is nothing better than taking Line 13 to see the scenery. Areas with good scenery look at the scenery, areas with dense buildings look at the buildings, and even better, you can see the current construction and development in Beijing. On Zhichun Road and Wudaokou, you can see the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway under construction. Looking at this high-speed railway under construction reminds me of the first Beijing-Zhangjiakou railway built by the Chinese themselves. When I went to Qinglongqiao Station on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway the next day, I was even more deeply moved. The Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway and the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway basically follow the same route, starting in Beijing and ending in Zhangjiakou. The construction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Intercity Railway started on August 11, 2009, the 100th birthday of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway. One was completed and opened to traffic in 1909, and the other is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2019, a lapse of 110 years. History is the progression of reincarnation.

First stop: Beihang University

Address: No. 37 Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing

School motto: Both ability and political integrity, unity of knowledge and action

Get off the subway at Zhichun Road and you will find the Student Apartment of Universiade Village of Beihang University.

The Universiade Village was built in 2001 and is the athlete village of the 21st World University Games. After the Universiade, it was rebuilt into a student apartment, with 10 student apartments, and the village has green grass and unique scenery. In 2007, Beihang University repurchased the student apartments in the Universiade Village, and now the Universiade Village is called Beihang Universiade Village.

Walking through the student apartment is Beihang High School

An external elevator was added to the old building in the family area.

After entering the south gate, this area is full of sports venues, track and field fields, football fields, basketball courts, swimming pools, table tennis halls...

The types of trees on both sides of the straight road are not the same. One side is taller and the other side is lower, showing a sense of randomness among the rules.

dorms.

It was lunch time, but just after the meal time in the cafeteria, we came to the supermarket after being directed by passers-by. There are freshly made dumplings in the supermarket, which are not bad. I love dumplings, especially northern dumplings. According to the number and then weighed on the scale to calculate the money. I counted them with the concept of the south, my God, I didn't expect the dumplings in the north to be as tall and plump as the trees here. Ordered more. But the dumplings in the north are delicious and strong.

This old dormitory building has a hanging structure for pigeons.

The characteristic greening of the northern campus.

Between Campus Middle Road and Campus North Road, there is a large green belt—Green Park. The green garden is an artificial garden landscape, which has the basic elements of a garden: mountains, water, winding paths, flowers and trees, and pavilions and pavilions.

On the east side of the green garden is a library with a frame like a courtyard.

The Qiushi Square in front of the library is still full of tall poplars. They stand upright like guards.

A firm figure on the grass in the corner of the square—the statue of Qian Xuesen. In 2002, in memory of Mr. Qian's long-term support to Beihang University, with the consent of Qian Xuesen and his wife, Beihang University built the first full-body sculpture of Qian Xuesen in the country.

The campus is full of such big trees that need to be looked up to.

The teaching area is located in the northeast of the campus, east of the northern section of Middle Campus Road. This is a pedestrian area, vehicles are prohibited. The teaching area consists of the main building, the south wing of the main building, the north wing of the main building, Buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, the library, the old gymnasium and some auxiliary buildings.

Along the Middle Campus Road and further east are Building No. 2 and Building No. 1. The Sino-French Engineering Institute is located in Building No. 2.

The statue of Professor Yang Weimin on the green lawn in front of No. 2 teaching building. Professor Yang Weimin - winner of "National Advanced Worker", "National Outstanding Scientific and Technological Worker", "National Scientific and Technological Expert with Outstanding Contribution", "National May 1st Labor Medal", "Aviation Gold Medal", high-altitude unmanned pilot The chief designer of reconnaissance aircraft, the founder and pioneer of reliability engineering in my country, the first director of the Department of Engineering System Engineering (now the School of Reliability and System Engineering), and the first director of Beihang Reliability Engineering Research Institute.

Building No. 2 and Building No. 1 have a corridor in the middle to connect with the main building on the other side of the road.

My friend studied and lived here more than 20 years ago, and he has been looking for the campus he has an impression of. The scale and appearance of today's campus are very different. His memory was awakened when he saw Building Two. He described the embarrassment when he was doing experiments in Building No. 2. His face was full of happiness when he described it. People will become soft and warm when they return to their hometown.

On the east side of the campus, he finally found his impressive old building. Surrounded by green pines and verdant cypresses, the quaint and atmospheric main building is full of history. On the lintel is a red gold lettering "serve the people". Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics is the first institution of higher learning in aerospace in new China. It is a multidisciplinary, open and research-oriented university with aerospace characteristics and engineering technology advantages. The historical mission of scientific research and strategic high-tech research.

A statue of Deng Xiaoping stands in the lobby of the main building.

A model of "Beijing No. 1" is flying in the square of the main building. "Beijing No. 1" is my country's first light passenger aircraft designed and manufactured by the teachers and students of Beijing Aeronautical Institute in 1958 under the personal instruction of Premier Zhou Enlai. The real Beijing No. 1 is housed in the Air and Space Museum.

From the old main building to the south is the southeast gate of the campus, and the South Campus Road connected to the southeast gate is the east-west main road of the campus. On both sides of South Campus Road are the newly completed tall buildings of the school. The new main building, concert hall, aviation and space museum and other buildings have revitalized the old campus of Beihang University.

To the south of South Campus Road is the new main building of Beihang University, the largest single intelligent teaching building in Asia. The buildings are majestic, with simple design, strong sense of space and modernity. It is the largest single-family conjoined teaching building in Asia. The new main building has a rectangular structure as a whole. It integrates multiple teaching and scientific research buildings into a courtyard-style building layout with a strong sense of enclosure.

On the north side of South Campus Road, there are magnificent concert halls, aerospace museums and other buildings.

There is a concert hall of such a scale on campus, so tall!

It's great to have a museum of this size on campus! The plane that my friend wanted to show me is now in the collection of this aviation and aerospace museum.

The predecessor of the Aviation and Space Museum is the Beijing Aviation Museum established in 1986. It is the first comprehensive aviation science and technology museum open to the public in China.

It's a pity that the museum is only open to tourists on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 am a week, and online reservations are required in advance. I missed this time slot, and I talked to the eldest sister of the doorman for a while, but I was not allowed to enter. I regret to miss it. The imagination about the plane can only stay in the description of friends.

Many universities are buildings named after Shaw, and Beihang University is no exception. The dark red Shaw Science Museum is particularly eye-catching in the green.

The Shaw Science Museum is opposite to the Science and Technology Park Road running north-south. On the west side of Science and Technology Park Road are various modern sports venues.

Beihang's sports venues can be seen everywhere, and the west side of Campus East Road is also full of basketball courts and football fields.

The beautiful campus of Beihang Primary School

The building adjacent to the south gate of the college is a laboratory for vehicle engineering and civil engineering.

Lunch: Badaling Outlets

Dinner: Yunfeng Building

Bus: Home Inn - Qinglong Bridge Railway Station - Badaling Outlets - Home Inn

Accommodation: Home Inn (Beijing Changping Science and Technology Park Shuitun Branch) (price 237 yuan)

Even if the children are not around, one cannot be completely idle. Changping is located in the northwest of Beijing. Since ancient times, it has been an important military town and a place of military contention. It is the north gate of Beijing and is known as "the pillow of the capital" and "the prefectures of Jiashi". Here are the famous Ming Tombs at home and abroad, "the most powerful pass in the world" - Juyongguan and the beautiful Ming Tombs Reservoir...so you have to walk around in Changping. I did not choose the Great Wall, nor did I choose the Ming Tombs, because this is not my first visit to Beijing. This time I chose Qinglongqiao Railway Station at the foot of the Great Wall.

From the hotel, go to Changping District Gymnasium and transfer to bus 919 to Badaling.

The torrential rain last night continued until the early hours of this morning, and the summer rain came and went quickly. The city washed by the torrential rain is extraordinarily beautiful. There are many tourists on the 919 road, and even the aisles are full of tourists. The bus runs on the provincial road that accompanies the Beijing-Tibet Expressway. After passing through the South Exit, the bus runs on the Beijing-Tibet Expressway. The road condition is very good along the way.

I got off at Badaling Forest Park Station. The Beijing-Tibet Expressway is like a rainbow across the blue sky and white clouds.

The car "flies" in the air. The good weather with blue sky and white clouds makes the mood of traveling happy

Get off and walk, this is the culvert of the Beijing Zhangjiakou Railway built in 1905. The culvert is not long, but it is just a corner.

A mountain range across the culvert is Hongye Ridge in Badaling Forest Park. From the name, it can be seen that this is the essence of red leaf viewing, and the most beautiful season here should be autumn. The red leaf ridge in summer is tender green.

Going forward along the mountain is the Badaling Cemetery. There is a gravel road on the left side of the gate of the cemetery.

It is the entrance of the exhibition at Qinglongqiao Station of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway.

Signs in the grass.

There are few pedestrians along the way, the silence in the valley, the fragrance of green grass, and the openness of the blue sky and white clouds make people very comfortable.

The four-in-one courtyard with blue bricks and blue tiles under the mountains is the road maintenance work area of Qinglong Bridge.

A sign for a zigzag railway. In fact, whether it is seen from the signs or the scene, this section should be called the "herringbone" railway to be more vivid.

This is a zigzag section of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway built in 1905.

I have learned about Zhan Tianyou's "human"-shaped railway in elementary school textbooks. Now I finally have the opportunity to stand here and see this 100-year-old slope railway in the mountains with my own eyes. I feel a sense of satisfaction in my heart. Zhan Tianyou's handed down work is still a world famous railway project.

The real body of the "people" shaped railway. The two railways meet, and the intersection is controlled by a turnout.

Here you can see an uplink and a downlink line more clearly. This is when the railway passed through Badaling, in order to overcome the steep terrain and steep slope, Zhan Tianyou used the principle of "turnback line" to build a "herringbone" shaped line. You can tell the difference at a glance: when the train is coming, use the method of pulling it forward and pushing it back to the station first. Pulling was changed to pushing backwards, and the train turned back on the original road, because the railway switch had been moved away, this time it walked along the side of the word "人" and passed Badaling smoothly.

This scene has not changed for a hundred years and has become a classic picture of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway. With the opening of the Fengsha Railway, the number of trains on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway has been greatly reduced. At present, only the tourist trains from Yanqing Railway Station to Beijing North Railway Station turn back here.

The railway slope protection built in 1905 is still strong.

The bridge railing of the No. 39 bridge of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway that has been preserved after a century of history.

Continue to move forward along the herringbone, and there is a Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway Monument and a statue of Zhan Tianyou on the right side of the station building. The Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway built by Zhan Tianyou is the pioneer of China's railway industry.

Going forward is Qinglongqiao Station. Walk on the rails and take a picture of the station from this angle. The station maintains its original appearance when it was built. The station building is a combination of Chinese and Western styles. The Western-style louvered window lattice is covered with a Chinese-style parapet. The roof carved with Chinese-style Tai Chi patterns is opened with Western-style dormer windows.

On the east side of the railway, you can take a closer look at the front ID card of Qinglongqiao Station at the foot of the Badaling Great Wall. The main station building located east of the Great Wall and north of the railway was built in the style of a third-class station. There is a station name plaque above the center of the station building. The station name plaque was inscribed by Guan Mianjun, then the office of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway Association. The blue-gray main structure, red tiles, red doors and red windows embellishment make the small station surrounded by green so beautiful. It is this small station that has witnessed the century-old development of China's railways. In July 1907, the construction of Qinglongqiao Station officially started. In September 1908, the locomotive drove through the Badaling Tunnel for the first time, and Qinglongqiao Station officially came into play. Although the railway station no longer handles passenger transport business, it seems to be much quieter, but there are still trains every day, and the Harmony train on Line S2 and some ordinary trains stop here for technical purposes.

I like this kind of place the most. Not far away is the Badaling Great Wall, which is popular with tourists, and this simple station under the valley stands quietly, waiting, maintaining a gentleness. Walking in such a valley is like being in a paradise from another world, and the heart is full of sweetness and abundance.

The staff at the small station stood straight on the platform. There should be a train coming, right? I was full of anticipation.

The sound of the train came from the other side of the valley, and with the sound, a red light flashed in the green valley. At first it was always a small blur, a dim light flickering.

Then it quickly showed a steel shape, and the red and white clothes jumped in the green bushes.

It doesn't pass by like an ordinary train, but it controls a steady posture and drives without rushing.

Along with the impact between the bigger and bigger wheel rails, you can clearly see the details of its body, its square face, and its dignified figure.

Golden Eagle GC-270, also known as Madaka, is a special vehicle for transporting railway maintenance personnel and maintenance materials.

It stops by the platform of the station. The encounter between the car and the station is always full of expectations, like a pair of lovers in a long-distance relationship. Staying for a while, small exchanges will separate again. The train travels everywhere, and the station is its eternal home. In this silent valley, I sat on the edge of the platform, watching the arrival and departure of the train with my eyes, speculating in my heart that the train and the station communicate like lovers. Intangible emotions are always conveyed in the tangible space of the station. The busy station, the flow of people coming and going, everyone in a hurry has their own emotions. Welcoming and sending off, both convey each other's emotions. Even in this quiet station that no longer handles passenger traffic, there is an emotion conveyed between the train and the station.

After the rain, the clear blue sky and white clouds, the emerald green mountains, everything is so clear in front of my eyes. Although it is midsummer, the air in the valley is refreshing, not as dry and hot as midsummer should be. What smells everywhere is the pure air like a fairy tale world. It is really a gift to have such a world in a bustling city, don't let it down, take a deep breath, and offer your lungs without reservation! After the sound of the train frame, everything returned to silence. There are no other tourists, only me on the track, on the platform, to appreciate it from different angles. I just sat there blankly, enjoying the tranquility in front of me.

Occasionally, there are workers who protect the mountain, and they are also full of surprises when they see me. It seems that this season's small station is also a place that tourists have forgotten. After a break, get up and continue to walk on the platform paved with bluestone and small bricks at the small station. There are also many kinds of stop signs on the platform. This is a "T"-shaped simple stop sign.

This kind of stop sign is standard regardless of whether it is a big station or a small station. From this stop sign, we can know that the next stop is Sanbao Station. The section from Nankou to Badaling is a relatively complete section of the century-old Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway. Within a distance of 20 kilometers, there are five old stations: Nankou, Dongyuan, Juyongguan, Sanbao, and Qinglongqiao, among which Qinglongqiao Railway Station is the best preserved. Also one of the most famous stations.

There are railway lines under your feet, or run in parallel, or leave after the intersection.

The staggered railway tracks extend infinitely into the distance, like small bridges leading to mystery and the unknown. In this quiet atmosphere, travelers are invited to slowly enjoy the beauty of this moment!

This is the scene of the railway when you look back at the east end of the railway. Nothing will disturb you. The sky is realistically blue and the clouds are changing. , the rails stretching beneath your feet. This kind of picture has always been my favorite, because it can bring infinite beauty and imagination.

Built in 1905, the Qinglongqiao Station Water Tower and the original site of the water crane were used to replenish water for the steam locomotives who dared to be in the station.

It is so quiet here that even the appearance of a small insect can attract my attention, and it enjoys here as freely as I do.

Walking on the side of the station building, you can experience this century-old station that is currently the best protected. In an industry with a history and austerity, the houses remain largely untouched.

Under the reflection of the blue sky and the backdrop of the green jungle, the entire station building with blue bricks and red tiles is full of the style of the Republic of China, and it is worth savoring carefully. The triangular roof, the red tiles on the roof, and the Great Wall-shaped trim on the top of the wall are full of charming style. History, past events, fleeting years, such meanings leak out quietly here.

On the side of the station, there are cultural relics related to the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway, a section of the track and some small objects related to the railway. The writing on the stele is very special, Suzhou Code. Suzhou codes were originally mostly used in old commerce, handicrafts, and financial business activities, as well as digital records in daily life and processing of accounts. When Zhan Tianyou presided over the construction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway, for the first time, Suzhou Mazi was used as a representative of Chinese digital culture for railway milestones and ramp monuments.

An artificial turnout that changes the direction of railway opening.

Silhouette of the station. The chimney on the roof reminds me of the cute little yellow man, and the quaint house suddenly feels a little happy. A green mailbox on the side outside the station building. Mailboxes and railways have the same effect. Railways take people to distant places, and mailboxes carry messages to distant places. Both are carriers of expectations. The hut is now a small museum, but unfortunately the gate is closed today, so you can only look out the window.

In the small courtyard, under the green hill, there is a bronze statue of Zhan Tianyou erected at the station in 1922. Up the steps behind the bronze statue is the joint tomb of Zhan Tianyou and his wife. On the east side of the bronze statue is a stele pavilion, where the monument to Zhan Tianyou is placed.

The inscription was awarded by President Xu Shichang in 1922. The inscription briefly described Zhan Tianyou's life and deeds, and spoke highly of his immortal contributions to the people and the country.

The stone stele of "1905 Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway" introduces Qinglongqiao Railway Station.

"Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway Nankou Section to Badaling Section" monument.

Between the tops of the lofty mountains, under the majestic Great Wall, at 40° 21:0.95s north latitude and 116° 1:00:00 minutes east longitude is the intersection point of the Great Wall and Qinglongqiao Station of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway. This is the intersection of ancient and modern, tradition and technology, and a stone tablet is erected to let more people know.

Look around here, bronze statues, monuments, platforms, stations, rails... This is the most representative station of the century-old Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway, and it is also the most well-protected century-old station.

Work area for guarding iron under the mountain

The majestic Great Wall on the mountain follows the mountain, and looks like it is about to fly. The Great Wall on the top of the mountain is accompanied by the railway in the valley. The railway is at the bottom of the valley, and the Great Wall is on the top of the mountain.

This section of the Great Wall is the eastern section of the Badaling Great Wall. It is the site of the Ming Great Wall. It was built under the supervision of Qi Jiguang, a famous anti-Japanese general. It has a history of more than 400 years. It was cut off due to the construction of China's first self-designed Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway.

Although it has become today's broken scars and remnants, you can still feel its incomparable hardness. Even if it is a little melancholy after the vicissitudes of life, it still shows an aura of perseverance.

At your feet is the first trunk railway built by the Chinese. It starts from Beijing, passes through Changping on the outskirts of Beijing, passes through Nankou, passes through Juyongguan, passes through Badaling...and finally arrives at Zhangjiakou, a famous city in the north of the Great Wall. Everything is quiet here at the moment. I lingered for several hours at this quiet little station. I get close to its body, I see its true face. I stepped on each sleeper, imagining and feeling the charming style and vicissitudes of history brought by the interweaving of the years.

Reluctance will eventually leave. Return to the bus station the same way. The drainage outlet on the culvert is also made into a faucet shape. There is an air of royalty everywhere.

Today's sky makes me drunk. Stand under the viaduct and wait for bus No. 879, and the next stop is Badaling Outlets.

Take the No. 879 road and walk on the G6 auxiliary road to enter the Badaling section of the G6 Beijing-Tibet Expressway. Along the way, you will travel by car, and the scenery along the way between the mountains and mountains. In the valley, the Badaling Expressway and the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway face each other across the river. Occasionally, a white "long dragon" - the Great Wall train, runs on the Beijing Suburban Railway Line S2. It travels between Beijing North and Yanqing. Go to Qinglong Bridge Station. This stark contrast reveals the beauty of modern transportation. The buses and cars rushing by on the expressway, and the trains passing by on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway seem to travel through time and space, calm and detached from the world.

The Juyongguan Great Wall built on the mountain is majestic and majestic. In the valley, clear streams linger, emerald peaks overlap, flowers and trees are dense, tourists are crowded, and the scenery is gorgeous.

Second stop: Badaling Outlets

Address: Chenzhuang Village, Changping District, Beijing

This shopping town is located on the side of the Beijing-Tibet Expressway, and you can walk for about one kilometer after getting off the bus. On the way of walking, some local citizens sold the plums grown on their own fruit trees. It looked like a natural food, and the red and purple plums only cost 2 yuan a catty. The refreshing, crisp and sweet taste in the mouth is the most delicious plum I have ever eaten.

Most outlet malls across the country have the same pattern. The whole town is a large-scale theme shopping park with careful design and planning and intoxicating environment layout.

The architectural style of European and American towns has created the purest American-style outlet commercial street, and the shops are closely connected to form a super-large and complete commercial space integrating shopping, culture, entertainment and leisure. There are many brands here, and discounts at different levels will definitely give you something to gain.

For me, shopping is second, I like the environment here. Most of the outlet towns are also relatively remote places, and because of the large area, there are not many tourists, and there is a feeling of strolling in leisure time wherever you go.

The supporting facilities in the town are also great, and there are coffee and dessert shops everywhere for you to sit down. I personally feel that COSTA COFFEE tastes better than Starbucks. The location of this house is particularly good. There is a spacious platform courtyard in front, and a large square on the periphery, with a wide view. Sitting outdoors has a good sense of space. There are fat sheep on the big screen accompanied by warm music, and there is a sweet sense of happiness when you look at it.

There are many similarities between women and desserts. They have attractive appearance, irresistible taste, or delicate, or elegant, or sexy, or sweet. Dessert is really a soothing agent that can bring people a sense of happiness.

Just wait here for the minibus. There are minibuses in the town that connect with the subway station at a fixed time.

The picture in front of you must be beautiful.

In this situation, we still have to go to the subway station. It can be seen that the driver of the shuttle bus is not happy. Next to the subway station is a school gate of Peking University Changping Campus.

There are several restaurants near the hotel. I have eaten several meals at this Yunfenglou in the past few days. The dishes are rich and the portions are sufficient. Home-cooked stir-fry is comforting. The waiters in the store are all young girls, a little shy but it does not hinder their proficiency at all.

Stir-fried mutton is the best, it is fragrant and has ample portion.

The lamb chops are also super delicious.

Didi Taxi Subway: Home Inn - Private Huijia School - Xizhimen Railway Station - Beijing South Railway Station

High-speed rail: Beijing South Railway Station - Nanjing South Railway Station

The last of the children's competitions is coming to an end this morning. I slept in the hotel all morning and woke up naturally. I wanted to go to Yunfeng Tower to eat dumplings, but the pasta chef was on sick leave for two days. So I ate a plate of dumplings at a family next door. The dumplings in the north are still strong and delicious. Take a Didi to pick up the children from the school and then go to the subway station of Shahe Higher Education Park. The driver was not young, and he was an authentic Beijinger. He was very happy to see the child's great figure, and told the child the history of Changping in an authentic Beijing accent.

I got on the subway and looked at the time. I felt a little rich, so I decided to get off halfway to see Xizhimen Railway Station. There is Xizhimen station on the subway. Xizhimen Station is an important station in the Beijing subway system. Beijing Metro Line 2, Beijing Metro Line 13 and Beijing Metro Line 4 converge here, and it is also the west terminal of Line 13. Xizhimen Station is one of the busiest stations in the subway. I dragged my suitcase and wanted to find a place to store it at the subway station, but unfortunately there was none. It is strongly recommended to open a luggage storage service at the transit subway station. Helpless, I can only drag the suitcase and follow the navigation all the way. Before I fully walked out of the subway station, I saw the words "Beijing North Railway Station" written in red on the blue sky.

For a while, Beijing North Railway Station, and for a while, Xizhimen Station, maybe I was confused. Let's talk about these two names first! Xizhimen Railway Station, now known as Beijing North Railway Station, is considered to be the starting point of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway. Originally, the trains to Zhangjiakou via the old Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway and the S2 suburban trains to Badaling and Yanqing both departed from here. But now, in order to cooperate with the construction of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, Beijing North Railway Station has suspended the passenger transport business since 2016, and the ticketing function is still retained. That is to say, you cannot buy a ticket departing from Beijing North Railway Station and take the train, but you can buy a ticket departing from other stations at Beijing North Railway Station. It is expected that after the opening of the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway, the passenger transport business will resume here.

The reconstruction of Beijing North Railway Station in 2005, this is the new main station building of Beijing North Railway Station in 2007, which was officially opened in 2009.

Follow the navigation and turn into an alley from the parking lot, and walk a few hundred meters along the alley to the iron gate. From here, you can see the old building of Xizhimen Station not far away. I knew that was the century-old station I was looking for - Xizhimen Railway Station. General Tie was unwilling to hold the door, and found that there was a large gap in one of the iron pillars. I made a gesture of the size, and I squeezed through the iron pillars and entered the courtyard. The child's huge body could only wait for me outside with the luggage. Finally discovered the benefits of being small.

Sleeping sleepers by the courtyard wall

Beijing North Railway Station, Xizhimen Station, old and new alternate, the feeling of skipping chapters in memory. In 1905, the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway started construction, and at the end of the year, the construction of Xizhimen Station started, which was one of the major stations on the line that year. The station house was designed by Zhan Tianyou himself. The station was completed in 1906, known as "Xizhimen Station of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway". So in layman's terms, "Xizhimen" is the nickname of Beijing North Railway Station. In fact, I like this nickname better. Firstly, it accurately and directly explains its location——Xizhimen. Second, the name "Xizhimen" makes people respect and respect this century-old station. In 1988, Xizhimen Station was renamed Beijing North Railway Station.

The luggage consignment office of Beijing North Railway Station is also a part of the old station building in Xizhimen.

The function of the old station building of Xizhimen Station lasted for more than a hundred years. It was not until the official opening of the new station of Beijing North Railway Station in 2009 that the old station building completed its historical mission. In the past hundred years, the layout of Xizhimen Station and the main building of Xizhimen Station designed by Zhan Tianyou have hardly changed. The verandah-style building has corridors on the east and west sides. It has the same color as Qinglongqiao Station, gray brick walls, brick and wood mixed structure, triangular truss wooden roof truss, and red tiles on the roof.

The station buildings in Western classical style are simple but elegant, and the materials used in the station are exquisite and carefully crafted.

The main body in the middle of the building is relatively high, and the whole station building is well arranged and beautiful. Doors, windows, and corridors all have bow-shaped designs, which look soft and tough. The corridor on the side facing the platform is designed, and the name "Xizhimen Station of Pingsui Railway" in the Republic of China is still engraved on the corridor.

The corridor on the first floor of the station is integrated with the main body of the station.

In 2005, Beijing North Railway Station was renovated. Although the century-old station had a new look, the sense of vicissitudes of history was also diluted.

The overpass across the station's stock road is the original one, and the high-quality steel imported from Britain is still as strong as ever. The old canopy was kept on top of the new terrace. Old and new canopies are stacked on top of each other to create a steel-like beauty of strength

This is a charming background. Here is an organ of the city, which carries the history, culture and development of the city.

The whole station building has functions such as waiting room, ticket office, operation room, and station master's office.

Behind the red arched gate is the waiting room. When the train arrives, the gate opens and travelers start from here.

Go up a few steps to the platform, board the train going south and north, and drive to the distance. Is the distance home? Far away is wandering?

The capital is a vast place, and even if you stay here for several months, you will not be able to visit it all. There are also many ways to play to double digits. You can come to Beijing N times, there is a long time, there is a long time, and a short time, there is a short time. Anyway, when you come to Beijing, you will not be idle, and different ways of walking will have different feelings. Our starting point for this trip to Beijing is competition, and the purpose is also competition, but we still took the time to visit several colleges and universities to feel the charm of the capital as a cultural center. I visited the marshalling yard, saw the status quo of railway development through this window that few people care about, and felt the status quo of the city's economic development. Visited the National Railway Museum, which is the epitome of the development history of China's railways. Visited two hundred-year-old stations on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway. The Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway is the first main railway line designed and constructed by the Chinese themselves, and it is the glory of the Chinese people and the Chinese engineering and technical circles. It is not just a railway, but also a spirit. The Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway is a symbol of industrial civilization entering China. Its development and changes reflect the annual ring of China's century-old development. The national spirit contained in it will always be worthy of our pride. Along the way, I saw the Beijing-Zhangjiakou Expressway under construction, with a design speed of up to 350 kilometers per hour, which is the rapid development of China's high-speed rail industry. The two "sister railways" with basically the same direction are separated by a hundred years, but they are both milestone constructions. The development of China's railways should be proud of. When I have time to come to Beijing in the future, I will continue to visit old stations such as Nankou, Dongyuan, Juyongguan, and Sanbao, as well as the newly built high-speed railway stations on the intercity railway.

When I set foot on the high-speed rail for the return journey, I felt a sense of harvest in my heart. The child felt good about himself in the competition, and he really received a notification of good results in the competition more than a month after returning to Ningning. Giving is a kind of satisfaction, and if there is something to gain after giving, it is a kind of relief.
