Understanding of Hoh Xil
I first learned about it in Lu Chuan's movie "Kekexili".
It is precisely because of such a movie that the outside world really began to pay attention to this land.
Today's Hoh Xil is already a member of the world heritage
More and more people are beginning to know and pay attention to this pure land.
Starting from Golmud, we took the mountain patrol vehicle of the protection station and drove along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway.
It takes about 7 hours to drive from Golmud to Sonam Dajie Protection Station in Hoh Xil.
Next to the Qinghai-Tibet Highway is the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.
From time to time, you will see trains passing under the snow-capped mountains.
Han Hong's "Road to Heaven" suddenly flashed into his mind.
The protection zone management bureau along the Qinghai-Tibet Highway has four protection stations under Budongquan, Suonandajie, Wudaoliang and Tuotuohe.
We mainly stayed at the Sonam Dajie Protection Station this time.
This protection station is named after the hero "Sonandajie" in Hoh Xil.

Compared with the hinterland of Hoh Xil, the environment of Sonam Dajie Protection Station can be said to be a city-like enjoyment.
Many of my team members and I experienced varying degrees of high resistance at the protection station.
I can't eat during the day and can't sleep at night.
These soldiers went deep into Hoh Xil,
There is no signal, no electricity, and the lack of oxygen and severe cold at an altitude of 5,000 meters.
Even in July, there may be a storm at any time on the mountain.
Only when we go deep into Hoh Xil can we really feel the difficulty of the soldiers.

The poaching scene in the movie "Kekexili" no longer exists.
The soldiers told us that the poachers have disappeared in Hoh Xil now
They don't need to risk their lives to fight poachers with real knives and guns.
The number of Tibetan antelopes in Hoh Xil also recovered from 10,000 to 70,000.

Behind its beautiful name, there are hidden dangers everywhere.
The endless Gobi and no-man's land, the weather may change at any time.
Human beings, life, are particularly fragile here.
The soldiers said: Compared with the warm July and August now, it is actually more difficult for them to patrol the mountains in summer than in winter.
In Hoh Xil with an average altitude of nearly 5,000 meters.
It is located in the third pole of the earth, the hinterland of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
The land here is also different from the land in our interior
We stepped on the frozen soil of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
When it rained, the permafrost turned into muddy mud.
It brought great difficulties to the soldiers patrolling the mountains.
We followed the soldiers' mountain patrol car and went in to experience it. The original plan was to go to the most beautiful Zhuonai Lake.
It turned out to be a very muddy dirt road all the way, and our car was extremely easy to get stuck.
In the end, I only went to the "Xinsheng Lake" which is the closest to the protection station.
The name "Xinsheng Lake" is also relatively straightforward, because of the warming of the earth.
The icebergs on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau melted, and the two relatively large lakes in Hoh Xil became more watery.
Slowly the two lakes merged into one lake, and it became a super large lake "Xinsheng Lake".
Tibet's Secret Land: Sapu Mountain
If there is a secret place in Tibet, then this place must be called Sapp.

From Hoh Xil, drive along the Qinghai-Tibet line
Before Lhasa, the largest city was Nagqu.

However, the infrastructure here is much better than that of the Sonam Dajie Protection Station.
Turn from Nagqu City to National Highway 317 and go to a county called Ru County.
The average altitude of Nagqu is over 4000 meters.
For example, Daxian County is really regarded as a small Jiangnan in northern Tibet.
For example, the county seat is about 3,800 meters above sea level, which is about the same as Lhasa.
The most out-of-the-way here is actually not the Sapp God Mountain.
It's the Cordyceps here.

Here lived a large family of the mountain god Sapp, including Sapp, his wife, and several sons of Sapp.
From our intuitive world
The most amazing thing about Sapp is the glaciers here.
It's already July and August, when the weather is the hottest
There are still thousands of years of glaciers floating in the lake under the sacred mountain of Sapu.
This kind of landscape can only be seen at the three poles of the earth, the Antarctic, the North Pole, and the third pole, the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
We are not even 1 meter away from the glacier,

The locals told us that when winter comes, the glaciers are even more shocking.
The largest lake at the foot of the mountain is called Samutuo, and the entire ice surface is blue in winter.
