Because it's cool. This summer is really hot. I originally planned to go to Gannan again, to visit Locke and Xiaoduku, but because of road construction, the road to Locke was closed. I have played in Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Henan, Ningxia, and Gansu in the surrounding provinces of Shaanxi, so I decided to set off for the refreshing Guiyang. Facts have proved that this decision is basically correct (the temperature east of Guizhou is not much lower than that of Shaanxi, but it is still quite cool from the west of Guiyang). Every place to visit is not too far to drive, mainly because there is basically no need to climb mountains, which is especially in line with our needs.

Why go to Langao? Because I have taken the expressway to Dazhou several times, but Langao has never been there. We set off in the afternoon, and it was already dark when we arrived in Langao. I planned to have dinner at Yang’s yard next to the county seat, but every house in the entire scenic spot was out of food. Thinking about how difficult it is for everyone, it’s such a hot day and weekends, I pushed into the mountains to escape the summer heat. It’s the first time I met them at dinner time. Why does it take more than 5 hours for less than 300km? Because most of them didn't take the high speed. The beautiful scenery on the self-driving road is not necessarily a scenic spot, but more often on national highways, provincial highways, rural roads or even villages. Starting from Langao, take the Yuecheng Highway, turn to Chengqian Road, and then drive the expressway from Shangcheng, Chengkou County to Wanzhou District.
It was the first time I walked through the canyon of Bashan Mountain. The scenery was not worse than that of Qinling Mountains. When I opened the car window, the cool and fresh air rushed in. Wanzhou is called Little Chongqing, because it is also on the banks of the Yangtze River, built on the hillside, with various big slopes, and there are many places where Internet celebrities check in. But the temperature was 35 degrees that day, so I didn't go shopping much.
Grilled fish in Wanzhou is a must. The most famous local restaurant is a fly restaurant. Unfortunately, it was too hot, so I chose another grilled fish restaurant with a better environment. After all, the most important thing is to have an air conditioner when eating in this weather. . The fish skin is crispy, the fish meat is tender, but a bit salty, and the taste is okay, not amazing. The scenic spot is not big, you can go shopping in two or three hours, the mountain is not high, you can take a slide, the river is not wide, but you can take a boat. There is a stone statue of General Gan Ning in the scenic area, which is said to be born here.
The moment you walk across the ancient bridge and see the big waterfall, everyone will be stunned for a moment, because the waterfall is indeed very wide, like a bead chain hanging on the cliff.
There is also a water curtain cave behind the waterfall. The last time I saw it was the colorful waterfall in the Bamboo Sea in Shunan, but obviously this water curtain cave is much larger than the water curtain cave of Huangguoshu Waterfall that I went to later. Walking in it , don't have some fun.
Coming out of the Wanzhou Great Waterfall, you will go all the way to the national road, provincial road, and township road, up and down the mountain and along the river. If it is not too hot, I really want to stop and play. Take the expressway from Zhongxian County, because the expressway passes through Wulingyuan District, there are tunnels one after another. In fact, Fairy Mountain in Wulingyuan is also a good place for summer vacation, but we have been there before, so we went straight to Youyang Taohuayuan. When I arrived in Youyang, I found out that the Taohuayuan scenic spot is not far from the county seat, and the county seat is quite lively at night. If you need to stay in Youyang, you can choose to stay in the county seat. I have no experience, so I chose a homestay in the mountains between the scenic spot and the county seat. The advantage is that it is quiet and you can watch the stars at night. Some people may say, why don't you book a hotel when you don't arrive at your destination? Because of the summer vacation, there are many people in popular tourist destinations. Youyang Peach Blossom Land, I heard it from a travel expert before, but this time I came to feel that it is indeed a paradise. However, the sign of the scenic spot is not very clear. At the entrance of Taohuayuan scenic spot, you need to drive to the south gate of Youyang ancient city and take a battery car, and you can only get there through this basically man-made ancient town.
Entering the scenic area, it is exactly the same as Tao Yuanming's "Peach Blossom Spring": "Suddenly encounter a peach blossom forest, hundreds of steps across the bank, no miscellaneous trees, fresh grass, and colorful fallen flowers. When the forest runs out of water, there will be a mountain. There is a small mouth, as if there is light. I put up the boat and enter through the mouth. It is very narrow at the beginning, and then I can pass through people. After walking for dozens of steps, it suddenly becomes clear. The land is flat and open, and the houses are like houses. The big red comb, the feathers all over the body are glossy and smooth, the tail of the chicken is raised high, and the long feathers hang down, walking and eating leisurely in the scenic area, with a very proud and arrogant posture. However, Tao Yuanming never came here, but later generations discovered that it was very similar to "Peach Blossom Spring", so it was named Peach Blossom Spring.
The difference is that there is also a karst cave in the scenic spot, named Taikoo Cave. If you want to go to Taikoo Cave, the scenic spot stipulates that you must enter before 3 pm, the cave is 3.5km, and it is a one-way trip. From Youyang Taohuayuan Scenic Area, enter Guizhou at a high speed. The popular tourist destinations in Guizhou Province are very interesting. Except for Guiyang, the provincial capital, which is in the center, the other places are just a circle, which is the Guizhou Grand Ring Road. Originally, I planned to enter Guizhou from Tongren, climb Fanjing Mountain, and finally finish crossing Chishui in Zunyi to leave the province. Later, I didn’t go to these two places. Fanjing Mountain was because there were too many people, and I was directly persuaded to leave after climbing the mountain in hot weather. Zunyi was because of the epidemic, so I had to go again next time. The first stop in Guizhou is Tongren City. For dinner, I chose a popular Guizhou cuisine restaurant next to the city hall. Shuchu is an authentic Guizhou cuisine restaurant. My friends, it’s really delicious. I can’t remember what I ordered. I lived in Wanshan District of Tongren at night. I originally lived here thinking that there was a water park just opposite, but the water park closed at 8 pm? ! I understand the water park, isn't it just a summer night? I would like to add that Mount Fanjing is still some distance away from downtown Tongren. If you plan to climb Mount Fanjing, it is best to live near the east gate of Fanjing Mountain. Remember to book tickets for the East Gate, because there is also Mount Fanjing and the West Gate. Both gates are not in the same county, very far away. If you don't plan to go to Fanjing Mountain, you can drive for more than an hour to Zhenyuan Ancient Town and live in the town.

In Zhaoxing Dong Village, tourists’ self-driving cars are not allowed to drive in. They can only park in the tourist parking lot, and the car will be delivered by the scenery, or the hotel will send a car to pick it up. We stayed in Dongzhai for two nights. Due to too many tourists in the peak season, we couldn’t book a homestay for two consecutive nights (yes, yes, there are still a lot of people here. Because the tickets for Xiaoqikong Scenic Spot in Libo are valid for two days, you can enter the scenic spot directly after arriving at the hotel that afternoon. Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Area has two gates, the east and the west, and each scenic spot is far away, but it is very convenient to take the traffic bus in the scenic area at any time.
Most group tourists enter from the west gate and exit from the east gate. We entered from the east gate at 3:00 p.m., and just happened to collide with a large number of tourists who had finished their tour. The first scenic spot, the Xiaoqikong Bridge, was already overcrowded with tourists. We didn’t stop there and walked uphill for about 1.6km, passing the Laya Waterfall. Coming out of Libo Xiaoqikong, the traditional travel route can choose to go to the Chinese Sky Eye in Qiannan, which is the largest radio telescope in the world, but after reading the reviews, I found that although the Chinese Sky Eye is very famous, the play experience is average, and it is a bit far away. Go directly to Qingyan Ancient Town in the south of Guiyang.
A friend recommended it to me before, Qingyan Ancient Town is very comfortable. But when I arrived at Qingyan Ancient Town at night, I found out that the ancient town is a scenic spot and I have to buy tickets.
Qingyan Ancient Town was an important military town in the past, and there are many historic sites. However, most of the streets are no different from the current ancient town, selling uniform Yiwu small commodities. The more distinctive one is the braised pig's trotters. Various large bridges can be seen everywhere. Several of the world’s TOP10 bridges are in Guizhou. It’s true to see the mountains and the water. It's a great place. Guiyang is the capital of Guizhou Province, so there are naturally many interesting places, but we have booked tickets for Huangguoshu for the next day, so we only have one day left for Guiyang. According to the route of regular tourists, we went to Jiaxiu Tower in the morning, went to Qianlingshan Park in the afternoon, and settled in Qingyun Market for lunch.

There is nothing to say about Huangguoshu Waterfall, the most popular scenic spot in Guizhou, buy tickets in advance and live near the scenic spot one day in advance. Huangguoshu Waterfall has a large number of tourists all year round, especially during summer vacation. Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Area actually contains three small scenic spots, the Great Waterfall, Tianxing Bridge and Doupo Pond. These three are all waterfalls, but they feel different. In order to have fewer people, we entered the scenic spot early in the morning and went to the Great Falls first.
Before you see it, you can already hear the sound of rumbling water. It looks like a rainbow from a close look. D11 Anshun Ziyun Getu River - Sichuan Zigong 613km 6.5h

It was noon when we returned to the Swallow Cave by boat, and the swallows had already returned to their nests, but there was a man in red clothes climbing in the huge Swallow Cave.
This is a project of the scenic spot, Spiderman, who climbs every hour from 11 o'clock. Visually, he climbed almost 10 floors, and he was bare-handed and barefoot, without any protective measures. It was shocking to see. After reading the introduction, I learned that in ancient times, the Miao people migrated to the Getu River area of Ziyun in order to avoid the war. The ancestors of the Miao nationality thought of hanging coffins in order to return their coffins to their hometown one day. After a person dies, the descendants are asked to store their coffins in the high places of the caves along the Getu River, and the so-called "Spiderman" appeared.
It is understood that the initial task and mission of "Spider-Man" was to send the coffin to the cliff for storage. For a long time, "Spiderman" has been composed of six people as a cooperative team. They have different divisions of labor and perform their own duties. Some are responsible for climbing to the cliff to choose the location for storing the coffin, laying wooden piles or digging a hole for the coffin, and some Some were in charge of hanging the coffin parts on the cliff with vines and ropes for assembly; some were in charge of carrying the corpse up and putting it into the coffin. The six people cooperated with each other and finally finished the work when the coffin was covered.
At that time, the Miao people who lived in the Getu River still cared about their "hometown" in their hearts. On the one hand, in order to return to their hometown, on the other hand, in order to hunt and resist foreign invasions, they looked around for weapons for self-defense. Accidentally, they discovered that there is natural saltpeter in the Swallow Cave in Getu River, which is a good raw material for making gunpowder. So in addition to sending the coffin to the cliff for storage, "Spiderman" has a second mission-to mine saltpeter on the rock wall and make gunpowder. It can be said that climbing cliffs with bare hands is a survival skill developed by the early Miao people to adapt to the harsh living environment.
Originally, the last stop in Guizhou was to go to Zunyi to see the former site of the Zunyi Conference, Sidu Chishui Memorial Hall and Maotai Town. Unfortunately, the epidemic in Zunyi made a detour to Zigong, Sichuan. It was dark when we arrived in Zigong, just to catch up with the Chinese Lantern World in Zigong. I have long heard that the lantern show here is huge in scale and lifelike in shape, but it is a pity that a nucleic acid report is required at the door.
