June 5

1. There is a direct flight from Hangzhou to Yinchuan Hedong Airport, a three-hour flight. It is recommended to prepare some snacks, Qiaohu read books with a pen to pass the time, and bring a U-shaped pillow for sleeping.
2. Rent a car in advance, the starting point and return point are both airports, and many merchants deliver the car to your door, which is very convenient. The road conditions from Yinchuan to Zhongwei are very good, there are few high-speed vehicles, and the speed limit is 120. If you want to go to Highway 6, it is recommended to rent an off-road vehicle.
3. Depart from Yinchuan Hedong Airport to Zhongwei City by car for two and a half hours. The toll is 54 yuan. Our flight arrives in Yinchuan at 1 pm. In order to spend more time at the destination, we will drive to Zhongwei for dinner that day.

Ningxia Yanchi Tan Yang has long been famous. In Zhongwei’s gourmet selection, we only have dinner on the day of arrival, because the lunch and dinner of the subsequent itinerary are included in the reservation package, or there may be no gourmet food in the remote area. The dishes are highly inclusive, ranging from Dongpo meat to small seafood, from snacks and pastries to seasonal vegetables, and the taste is not bad. Dinner and breakfast were arranged at the camp outside the track, and the ingredients were ordered in advance to do it yourself, but it was canceled due to the sudden sandstorm, and it continued to be resolved in the inn. The next morning the weather was fine and we cooked breakfast on a small gas stove in the communal dining room. The sizzling sound of fried eggs is accompanied by the frolicking of the little ones on the left and the right. Not far away, the lambs are grazing with their heads down, and the Yellow River is faintly rushing behind the reeds.

Yellow River Suji is a collection of 6 homestays. It is located at the big bend of the Yellow River. The exterior walls are in Moroccan style, and the decorations have their own characteristics. Hotels are difficult to book and need to be about two months in advance. This time we booked a camp outside the track, and it was the first time that we took Xiao Zuo and Xiao You camping. The two little guys were very excited because they could live in the tent. The camp is at the end of the dormitory, close to the Yellow River, protected by poplar trees on both sides, and each tent is relatively independent, forming a small camp. The toilet and shower room are shared, well maintained and separated from wet and dry. The bathroom has a hair dryer and paper towels, and all toiletries are in bamboo baskets in the tent. In the morning, the cuckoos sang in the woods. The left and right dragged their sandals and picked out a small tree they liked. They squatted by the tree, brushed their teeth and rinsed their mouths, watered the small tree, and felt the experience of washing in nature. We have prepared enough mosquito repellent, but we don’t actually need it. I walked barelegged in the mountains and countryside, and I didn’t get bitten by mosquitoes when I came out to wash at night. Maybe it’s too dry and there is no breeding ground for mosquitoes.

I prepared Hanfu for Xiao Zuo and Xiao You, and let them have fun in the empty camp square. I captured funny and cute running movements and expressions. After 10 o'clock, the sun is very difficult to withstand, the ultraviolet rays are strong, physical sun protection is necessary, and then apply enough sun protection.

The Yellow River Suji itself is a scenic spot. There are also many activities close to nature in the Suji, such as picking eggs, feeding goats, picking cucumbers, etc. You can also stroll along the Yellow River and watch the surging river rush. There will be cargo delivery on the Gobi on the other side The train passed slowly, and in the distance was the magnificent bridge across the river. The camp is full of happy places for children, chopping firewood, observing ant holes, digging sand, watching goats, everything can attract their attention. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the Great Wall of Ming Dynasty next to Suji. In a short section, the view is very wide. You can see the panorama of Suji and the big turn of the Yellow River, which is enough for children to run and release electricity.

The most anticipated star hotel of this trip is finally coming. After driving for 1 hour, we arrived at the connecting point of the star hotel, and took the hotel off-road vehicle to drive into the hinterland of the Tengger Desert. The straight-line distance between Yellow River Suji and Xingxing Hotel is 6.9 kilometers, but you have to make a big circle along the Yellow River. There are many turning paths on the way, and it is easy to overdrive, but the road conditions are not bad, and ordinary vehicles can drive.

Navigate to the reception of the Star Hotel, get the room card, get on an off-road vehicle and climb over the sand hill to reach the room. The hotel is very difficult to book, share how I booked it only 10 days in advance. Call the front desk of the hotel to ask which APP cooperation will have spare rooms, and then find the APP customer service to place an order. The lady told me that I will have a chance to make up the room only after confirming that someone cancels the reservation, so I call the front desk again, ask about the cancellation situation, and tell him we I have already booked all the itineraries, and only one night's accommodation is missing. I don't know if it's luck or the ladies were moved by my sincerity, and the reservation was confirmed the next afternoon.
Not all Internet celebrities are excessive publicity and gimmicks. Why is the Star Desert Hotel always very popular? Because it has a unique environment, contracted the entire desert, and can dig sand at the door, and walk 100 meters to the Star Valley. Lying in the desert and looking up at the starry sky, you can go back to the room and lie down immediately after realizing these dream situations. The Star Hotel has a huge white semi-circular building called the Star Theater, where the lectures on stargazing are held. Hotel accommodation is divided into AB area, viewing room and log cabin. We booked a single-family log cabin, and the check-in experience was very satisfactory. The space is independent, and the room is simple and warm. In short, the Star Desert Hotel is the best experience I have ever stayed in during my travels. Although I encountered a sandstorm at night and could not enjoy the beautiful lights and stars at night, I still do not feel regretful. The unique experience here has made up for those Little pity.

Before entering the desert, I specially prepared three strips of instant noodles, thinking that my eyes must be satisfied, and my mouth and stomach would suffer. Surprising how much dinner is included in the hotel. In the evening, there is a small hot pot. Not to mention the quality of beef and mutton, there are more than 10 kinds of vegetables alone. The green leafy vegetables are fresh and tough. There are also various root vegetables, lotus root slices, potatoes, and fungus are all my favorites. Beef louver and tripe It’s juicy enough, and you can choose processed meat. Xiaozuo Xiaozuo’s meat consumption has greatly increased. With grape juice, there is no need to rush at all. The hotel restaurant is spacious and bright, and the finished dishes are replenished in time. Surrounded by deserts, it is inexplicably moving to eat these delicacies.
The breakfast still didn't disappoint me. Some of the five-star dishes did not fail. It was the first time I experienced fresh lychees for breakfast in the desert. Therefore, the Three Guarantees of Instant Noodles has no chance to be used at all.

Sunscreen hats are recommended for children, which can protect from head to shoulders. Beach shoes are also a must. You can rush into the sand at any time and run wild when you wear them. Lightweight long-sleeved trousers are also necessary. Protect arms and legs from friction and reduce injuries. As for Jimei, it is highly recommended to wear a pure black suspender skirt. The yellow and black of the desert are very high-end. The photos taken from all angles of the hotel are satisfactory, because this trip has to take care of the left and right at all times. Unfortunately, I did not leave a satisfactory photo, but the drone allowed me to see the Star Desert Hotel from the perspective of God. These photos make me awe of nature, and I am even more proud that human beings can build a dream hotel on the ground in such a desert.
