Preparation before travel
I thought today would be an ordinary weekend. But the weather was good and the sun was shining brightly. After my son got up, he said coquettishly, "Mama, let's go out and play." I said yes, where do you want to go. The son said he didn't know either. I suddenly had a flash of inspiration, let's climb the Great Wall. The son jumped up happily when he heard it. My son has just finished learning the Great Wall in Chinese textbooks, and he has been fascinated by it for a long time, so this is exactly what he wants.
But I looked at the time, oops, it's almost 8 o'clock, I guess I won't be able to go there that day. I still turned on my phone and checked, and I asked 2 companies and they said no. Later, I saw that Basda's website showed multiple trips. After listening to my thoughts, the customer service lady said that we can choose the 10 o'clock bus during the middle shift, which is completely in time, and also thoughtfully sent me the way of travel and how to take the bus. I looked at the time and really had time to catch the 10:00 bus. My child and I simply washed up and went out.

The bus to Badaling is at Beitucheng Station of Subway Line 5. Not far from where I live. The subway arrives in less than half an hour, and there is no need to back up. The customer service said that the tour guide will buy the tickets on his behalf, and the son's fare and tickets can be half priced, which is really great. When I got out of the subway station, I saw a tour guide in a green vest. After she greeted us warmly and checked the information, we boarded the car smoothly. The bus is pretty clean. The others were also quite punctual, and they really managed to set off on time. Unlike the one-day tour group we went to the foreign travel newspaper that year, the bus went to pick up this and that, and many people were late. We waited in the bus and got angry. We got on the bus at 6 o'clock, and it was after 8 o'clock that everyone was still not here. It was really annoying. It's much easier to gather by yourself like Basda and start the car at the right time.
The tour guide is a beautiful lady, very nice. She showed some general situation of Beijing tourism, focusing on the construction history and culture of the Great Wall. During the period, I carefully bought tickets for the dome movie for us. The beautiful tour guide said that the dome movie is a must-buy item for almost all tourists. I checked and it was much cheaper than the ones sold online. We didn’t buy the cable car tickets this time, because I think I’m still young and strong enough to be able to climb, and it’s no problem for the children to be full of energy. Lunch
I can finally get out of the car and have fun. My son said he was hungry as soon as he got out of the car. Isn't that right, the child was in a hurry to leave in the morning and didn't have time to eat a few bites of food, and it's almost noon now, which is exactly the meal time. Not to mention that the Badaling Food Street is the only way to the scenic spot. There are quite a lot of delicious food, including Chinese and Western food. My son likes to eat beef noodles. When the store heard that we are customers of Basda, they kindly gave us a discounted price, which is great. After we had a full meal, we began to officially climb the Great Wall to be heroes~
start climbing
According to the suggestion of the tour guide, my son and I climbed the Great Wall in the north. The north slope is relatively easy to climb, and we took pictures while climbing. In the front we can still roam freely, but in the back we really have to climb, and there is a section where we need to hold our hands and feet together. There are relatively many people on the north slope. And now it is only open to the north eighth floor. I thought that the child was in high spirits and continued to climb up, but when I reached the sixth floor in the north, I was already exhausted, mainly because my kneecap started to hurt. Fortunately, there is a downhill passage below the right side of the sixth floor of the North Building. We return from the passage through the small gate under the Beacon Tower of the North Building Gate. It also passed the famous stele of heroes. There were too many people queuing up to take pictures, so we hurried down the mountain.

dome movie
After going down the mountain, I saw that more than 2 hours had passed. The two of us hurried to watch a dome movie. The cinema is easy to find, just opposite the parking lot where we got off. The 9D movie is really shocking. The electric chair can be moved, and there are special effects of spraying wind and rain. Wearing VR glasses, sitting on it really feels like flying in the mountains. The immersive experience is not virtual, it's great~

The car on the return journey was slower, maybe everyone was a little tired, but the children were still excited, and the son chatted with the children in the same car.
