It was the first summer vacation for many years at work, but I didn't sleep in the dark when I went back to school as I imagined. In more than ten years of schooling career, more than 30 winter and summer vacations, there is only one memory of family trips, which is really sad in retrospect.

Zhu Deyong said, "It is already a great thing to be able to live the day you want to live."

I said that living the life you want is the best revenge for dissatisfaction with the past.

01 Shangri-La Hotel

No. 1 Chicika, Jiantang Town, Shangri-La, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province

There is a saying that what color you like means that your body lacks this color. I like to travel, maybe because there are so few such experiences. I'm always trying my best to fill in the sieve-like gaps.

This summer vacation, when Gaier can spread eggs in front of the car, and when the asphalt road is smoking, I escaped from my hometown and went to Yunnan for the third time, connecting an unexpected journey.

There is no direct flight from Beijing to Diqing, Yunnan, and the most common ones are connecting flights in Xi'an, Kunming, and Chengdu. My friends and I changed planes in Chengdu, arrived in Diqing late at night, and checked into the Shangri-La Hotel directly.

Staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in Shangri-La seems to be a tongue twister. Although it is the third time to come to Shangri-La, it is the first time to stay in this hotel.

Diqing is the highest altitude in Yunnan Province and the only Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. In fact, if you have been to Huanglong in Jiuzhaigou, then the height here is nothing at all. I remember I just got off the plane in Huanglong last year. For some reason, the soles of my feet felt like I was stepping on cotton. I checked the altitude and it was only 3448. However, the altitude of the center of Diqing, where Shangri-La Hotel is located, is only 3260 meters. I didn’t feel much.

On the way from the airport to the hotel, we will pass a super large white pagoda. The guide told us that the white pagoda carries the good wishes of praying, suppressing evil spirits, and improving Fengshui. Quite particular, it needs to be 3, 9, 18, 21 and so on.

Arrived at the hotel 15 minutes later, drank the welcome ginger tea to relieve the discomfort of the high reaction, and then went to my own room, lying on the super comfortable bed, excitedly dispelling the fatigue of the day's journey.

In the hotel room, there are welcome fruits, highland barley popcorn and Tibetan special snacks. Our supper is a bowl of super delicious beef rice noodles, plus a bottle of Shangri-La local craft beer. When the waiter knocked on my door with a bowl, I took the bowl and laughed for a long time... This is the largest serving of rice noodles I have ever eaten.

There are exquisite tea sets and Pu'er in the guest room. If you feel hypoxic, there is also oxygen that you can use by yourself.

In the resort hotels, you can fully experience the thrill of vacation without going out of the hotel. The smallest guest room is 43 square meters. Looking out from the window of the room, you can see the breathtaking mountains, layers of residential houses, and even lake or garden views. The architecture and design of the hotel are full of Yunnan and Tibetan styles, and even the corridors of the hotel are hung with Yunnan-style jack-o-lanterns.

During the two days of staying here, what I look forward to the most is the Shambhala specialty international buffet all-day dining restaurant Auntie's Chef on the first floor of the hotel.

The first two ways to relieve high-reflex are chewing and drinking water. As a water-satisfied family, you should drink plenty of breakfast, such as butter tea, fruit juice, milk, soy milk, porridge, yogurt...

The sumptuous breakfast is full of Chinese and Western food, as well as snacks with Tibetan characteristics. I especially recommend a soft triangular cake, like pancakes, which is very delicious, and the fruit is quite sweet.

Lunch and dinner are even more dazzling. Moreover, I have eaten in so many five-star hotels, and there are not many cafeterias that provide freshly squeezed juice. The price is good, 198 yuan, no service fee, free for children under 6 years old, half price for 6-12, you can eat authentic yak hot pot, various barbecues, sweet seafood and international cuisine.

In addition, there is an open-air barbecue on the roof of the "Star Observation Terrace", and the red hot pot restaurant on the second floor. If you like to drink, you can go to the Traveler's Lounge on the first floor. Of course, don't drink if you have a high reaction. , which would aggravate the symptoms.

Most of the waiters in the hotel are ethnic minorities, including Tibetan, Naxi, Bai, Lisu, Yi and so on. If you don’t leave the hotel, you can experience traditional handicraft activities such as wearing beads, drawing totems and thangkas. In addition, you can also visit local Tibetan temples on foot, ride a picnic on the Napahaila grassland, watch and make Tibetan black pottery in Nixi Black Pottery Village.

Send the hotel information here for easy viewing: Before December 31 this year, there is a "Discover Shangri-La" package starting from 1988 yuan:

Accommodation in a deluxe room with two breakfasts + limousine pick-up from Shangri-La Airport to the hotel + full professional tour butler escort + double limousine service from the hotel to the scenic spot + two scenic spot experience tours:

Choose 1 from Napa Haila Grassland or Dukezong Ancient City

Choose 1 from Pudacuo National Forest Park, Songzanlin Temple or Balagezong Grand Canyon

Extended stay discount: 900 yuan per room per night including two breakfasts, aunt’s kitchen double consumption beef hot pot buffet dinner is also as cheap as 300 yuan

Last year, my dad and I rented a car in Diqing, including the driver and tour guide, and from Diqing to Lijiang, a total of 1100 for two days, you can refer to the price below.

02 Jinqiao Farmer's Market

We participated in the special activities of the hotel. After breakfast, the hotel guide Xiao Huihui took us to the Xiangyang Road Vegetable Market, which is the largest and most complete farmers market in Shangri-La. The locals call it "Jinqiao Farmers Market", especially Close, just behind the hotel, just a few minutes away.

The market is very large, and the vegetables and fruits are very fresh. There are many people who know it, and many people who don't know it. This is the first time I know that they look like mustard and kohlrabi (softly le) and they are actually called small pumpkins! The one as fat as a zucchini is actually a cucumber! The dots on the body are cactus fruits, I guessed it right, and the long pink and purple ones are taro flowers.

The most surprising thing is that the matsutake here is 35 yuan a catty, which is super cheap, and the locals buy the whole bag at home. But I remember last year our driver said that people used to not eat matsutake, but used it to feed pigs haha, they were all fried, is it true?

Matsutake is difficult to preserve, and it will go bad if covered, so it should be eaten locally. If you want to take it home, you can send it to SF Express.

03 Dukezong Ancient City

Shangri-La Hotel is located in the center of Shangri-La, facing Longtan Lake Park, and only 10 minutes walk to Dukezong Ancient City. By the way, you can rent a bicycle from the hotel, 50 yuan a day is very worthwhile, you can ride around the ancient city of Dukezong.

Guishan Park in the middle of the ancient city of Dukezong was built in the Kangxi period. It is famous for the largest prayer wheel in the world. It is 5 stories high and plated with pure copper. The bottom of the four Bodhisattvas of Dizang is engraved with the eight treasures of Buddhism. There are also 1.24 million scriptures, mantras and mantras without words in the tube, as well as 16 tons of various Buddhist treasures. It takes a lot of people to pull the rope on the handrail together to turn it hard. Every round of rotation is equivalent to 1.24 million silent recitations of the Buddha's name, and after three rounds, you can eliminate disasters and pray for good luck.

What a way to save money, haha.

Standing on the high platform next to the prayer wheel, you can overlook the whole city of Shangri-La, but to stand here, you need to climb a lot of steps. I feel that it is more strenuous than climbing to the top of Songzanlin Temple. I paused twice, and my heart jumped. Terribly.

There are many places to visit in the ancient city, and the "Shangri-La Thangka Painting Academy" is not to be missed. In January 2014, the huge fire in the ancient city wiped out the painting academy overnight, and burned more than 200 invaluable ancient thangka paintings. The loss was heavy, and now it has been reborn from the ashes.

Mineral and natural pigments are used to draw thangkas, so they will not fade. For example, precious mineral materials such as gold, silver, coral, pearl, malachite, and cinnabar, and plant materials such as saffron, rhubarb, and indigo are painted on the Sanded cotton cloth.

We had lunch at a restaurant open to the public on the first floor of the "Nanshan Art Inn" in the ancient city. There are so many chicken pots and yak hot pots. The bottom of the pot is quite rich. The soup is rich and fragrant. It is combined with the famous dipping water in Yunnan. Fresh shabu-shabu is served in the pot, but this is not the best. Let me tell you a way, it is best to soak rice in soup and dip it in water, no need for meat at the bottom of the pot, and no need for rinsing vegetables.

The green dish in the picture is probably unfamiliar to many people. It is called golden thread dish. The stir-fried dishes on the table are coriander gong and chanterelles, which have not yet been distinguished.

Peeling the cactus fruit I just bought, it is sweet and sour, but the seeds of the cactus fruit are really hard and cannot be eaten.

04 Napa Sea

Napahai Nature Reserve is a must-visit place in Shangri-La, and it is also the largest grassland in the county. Flocks of cattle and sheep undulate with the sea of grass, and the vast wilderness is surrounded by the beautiful grassland scenery of "the wind blows the grass and the cattle and sheep are low". In the west, the three snow-capped mountains of Shika, Shika and Xinyala stand tall and straight.

Napahai Nature Reserve is famous for black-necked cranes, in addition to gray geese, bar-headed geese, gray cranes and other beautiful waterfowl. Whether it is cloudy, rainy or sunny, there are different scenery.

05 Gadan Songzanlin Monastery

Kardan Songzanlin Monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan and the center of the Yellow Sect in Sichuan and Yunnan. It plays a pivotal role in the entire Tibetan area and is known as the "Little Potala Palace". It is built on the mountain, which is a collection of Tibetan plastic arts, and is also known as the "Tibetan Art Museum".

This is my second visit to Gadan Songzanlin Monastery. My purpose is very clear, shopping!

Ask the travel steward of Shangri-La Hotel, he said that it will be cheaper to buy diamond knots in the ancient city of Dukezong. I inquired about the price and it was true, it was only a quarter of the price in the temple, but except for the vajra knots and other items in Songzanlin Temple that were blessed by the masters, other places are purely tourist souvenirs, so even if it is more expensive You have to buy it in the temple, and even if you don’t usually buy anything, you still have to put it in the merit box when you encounter the temple, not to mention the items you like.

The vajra knot and the bead string of the Tibetan silver string are the counters of the rosary. It is called Jiuxie in Tibetan, and the end is a vajra, but no one can tell me what it is called as a whole. At that time, the lama master told me once, because of the accent problem I understand but don't remember it, I hope someone with insight will tell me, thank you.

If you want to take a panoramic view of Songzanlin Temple, you don’t have to hike to the opposite side of the lake. You will encounter a viewing platform on the way here, and you can have a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery.

Because there is no restaurant in the Songzanlin Temple Scenic Area, if you want to have lunch inside, you can go to the Songtsam Green Valley Hotel to the west of the temple. It is very cheap and delicious.

Leaving Shangri-La, transfer to Chongqing, and fly to Nyingchi, Tibet at 6 am the next day.

This picture is outside the window of the Xinhua Hotel in Chongqing, with sparse figures and dancing lights. I ate a bowl of small noodles and cold noodles overnight in the mountain city.

Transit in Chongqing

06Lulang Town Evergrande Hotel

The imaginary Tibet should look like prayer flags floating on the roadside and mani piles, a flat river like a table mountain, and clouds hanging low in the sky.

However, the sight of getting off the plane subverted my imagination. All the way from Nyingchi Milin Airport to Lulang Township, I was patrolling among the mountains, with clouds and mist on both sides, like a fairyland.

The mountain is so high that it pokes a hole in the sky, the clouds fall to the ground, and you can touch the sky with your hand.

The yaks buried their heads deeply in the pasture, and the high-voltage wire racks were as small as iron ornaments inserted on the hillside. Halfway from the viewing platform, you can see the original Dongbacai Village on the opposite side.

The driver said that the pigs, cattle and sheep here are free traffic police, and they have to stop when they see them. It’s okay to bump into males, but it’s not easy to hit females. Their owners blackmail you without discussing it. I remember that when I was in Gannan, I heard from a tour guide that sometimes a cow costs more than 200,000 yuan, because the herdsmen would say that it can still give birth to calves, and calves can also give birth to calves...there is an endless shortage of children and grandchildren.

On the way, we crossed the Mira Mountain Pass at an altitude of 5013 meters. When we got off the bus, we felt dizzy.

Two hours later we arrived at the most important destination of our trip to Tibet - the small town of Lulang.

Lulang means "Dragon King Valley" and "the place where the gods live". It is 3,400 meters above sea level. It is hidden behind mountains and forests and is full of Tibetan customs. It is a holy, peaceful and poetic valley. It is known as "Oriental Switzerland" and "Natural Oxygen Bar". Many resort hotels and family hotels gather here.

We live in Evergrande. This five-star resort hotel is built near the lake. It is a traditional Tibetan-style building. There are a total of 6 Tibetan-style courtyards with different styles. All room types are inside, and you can enjoy the view of the Jiala Bailei Snow Mountain. The beauty of Yushan Bihu formed with Zhatang Lucuo.

Thank God, it rained heavily again, and I just watched the rain from the corridor in the yard. The rain was rushing, hitting the ground, trees, and grass, and the nearby mountains became more smoggy.

The suite has a small yard belonging to its own room, next to the lake, and the bedroom and living room of the room are separated, which is very spacious.

This is the standard room where my friends and I live. I like this room. It's not small. It has a very spacious bathroom and a living room, making it even more cozy.

The first floor of the building where the hotel lobby is located is the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. You can eat Lulang's characteristic stone pot chicken. There are residual firewood in the square in front of the door. Imagine how unforgettable the bonfire party near the lake would be.

Although Tibet uses the unified Beijing time, due to the vast territory of our country, there is actually a two-hour time difference between here and Beijing time. It was still light at 9 o'clock in the evening, so I went to bed late and woke up late.

Opening the curtains in the morning, the view outside the door is amazing, the kind of pure, like still smoke, it is hard to tell whether it is fog or clouds descending on the mortal world.

Lulang is a narrow strip of typical plateau mountain meadows, 15 kilometers long, with different scenery in four seasons. From May to June, rhododendrons bloom into a sea of flowers, blending with grasslands and snow-capped mountains. July-August is summer here, and October Then it will be winter, which is a good time to enjoy the snow.

The town is composed of many restaurants, small shops, and well-organized roads, so it will not appear desolate. It has both natural scenery and humanistic life. You can see free-range cattle and calves walking around the town, and peacocks and horses are basking in the sun and strolling in the pen.

07 Walking in Lulang Town

The green hills on both sides are bushes, dense spruce and pine trees from low to high, forming the "Lulang Forest Sea". In the meadow, streams meander, springs gurgling, wild flowers bloom on the lawn, wooden fences, wooden houses, and wooden bridges And the villages of farmers and herdsmen are dotted around in a scattered order.

One of the unmissable activities in Lulang is hiking in the virgin forest. I never dared to think that when I came to Tibet for the first time, I could still have the physical strength to participate in "sports". Starting from the suspension bridge in the town, enter the forest area, and walk in the direction of the colorful flags, a total of six kilometers away.

At first it was a meadow near the lake, and mature plateau wheat was planted in the wooden fence on the meadow, not barley, which would bow its head when it was heavy. After a short walk, we entered the forest, and the ground was covered with fallen leaves of various colors.

After it rained yesterday, the ground was a little wet, and the leaves were a little darker, and they rustled when stepped on.

More mushrooms appeared in the forest after the rain, all kinds of unknown fungi. I remember when I was a child, I heard that the more beautiful the mushrooms, the more poisonous, so don’t pick mushrooms at will, and the local restaurant is banned from making them. Come the mushrooms.

It is said that the last yellow one is called egg mushroom, which can be eaten. Why are many mushrooms called chicken? It’s not because they taste like chicken, but because mushrooms are delicious, as delicious as chicken.

In some places in the forest, the staff buried the matsutake, and there will be a sign on it to indicate that there is it, and you will find it if you look for it with your heart. Oh, we found one.

The purple flower in the picture is Tibetan Salvia, a kind of medicinal material that can cure heart disease. The trees on the side of the road are entangled with fluffy asparagus. It is also called Usnea, which is also a medicinal material, but it will absorb the nutrients of the trees and hinder the growth of the trees.

We hiked six kilometers with the smell of cow dung. This was my first time exercising at an altitude of 3,500... I used to take a bus and drank glucose for injection for the first time. Supplies such as drinking water and raincoats are also provided at the midway supply station.

In another major discovery, we saw that there were indeed flowers in cow dung.

Walking out of the forest and walking back to the small town on earth, this hearty and delicious stone pot chicken is the motivation for us to persevere.

If you don’t eat stone pot chicken in Lulang, you haven’t come here. I ate three meals a day here, and the tastes of each family are different.

Stone pots are made by hollowing out a whole stone, usually made of Motuo stone, handmade is the best, and the ones that are too regular are made by machine. The chicken is a native chicken raised by local Tibetans. It is stewed slowly with ginseng, Tibetan fritillary, lily, wolfberry and other medicinal materials with the stream flowing down from the snow-capped mountains. It is very rotten. Soak rice with chicken broth, add chili and other seasonings, delicious.

After hiking, this is the Lulang Stone Pot King, the head office of Lulang Town.

Our lunch can be described as extravagant. In Beijing, matsutake dishes are served by slices. Here we not only tore the matsutake freshly picked in the forest, but also poured the whole plastic bag into the pot.

August is the season of Nyingchi matsutake, and there is only one month in August in a year. If it is in Yunnan, it will come out in July. Nyingchi is one of the three main producing areas of matsutake in China. Now the price is more than 100 per catty, and the more the umbrella is opened, the worse the quality will be. Because I just came from Shangri-La, where the price was only 35, I asked why there was such a difference between the two places, and the answer I got was that the matsutake in Shangri-La was incomparable with the ones here. I still don't know why.

08 Lulang Huahai Ranch

It takes half an hour to drive from the small town of Lulang to the Huahai Ranch area. The destination is the ancient village of Lulang - Dongbacai Village. If you want to go there, you need to go through the bumpy road from Kathmandu to Nagarkot road.

The villagers there still guard the ancient virgin forest and forest pastures with the original way of life that has not changed for thousands of years.

If you are lucky, you can also see the most beautiful mountain in China, Namjagbarwa Peak, the world's largest canyon, the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, and the Jiala Bailei Peak.

However, when we climbed up the high half-mountain at an altitude of 4,100 meters, we found that the road was too difficult to walk, narrow, dangerous, and there was no place to turn around. So under the superb skills of the masters, we turned around and headed to Basong, where we lived that night. Wrong scenic spot.

09 Basong Co

The Brahmaputra is the longest plateau river in China and one of the highest rivers in the world. I walked with it on the way to Lulang, and met it again on the way to Basongcuo. The rushing river water comes from the sky and flows into the mortal world, making the beautiful scenery here.

On the road, you can see Tibetan pigs and cows strolling around. Horses and sheep are rarely seen. They are all domesticated and not wild. I thought, if they know their own fate, since they are not bound by ropes and fences, can they keep walking on their own, away from the "home" that will kill them.

After several hours of trekking, I finally arrived at the Basongcuo Scenic Area, and stayed at the Nyingchi Himalaya Basongcuo Resort Hotel. This hotel is far less good than Nyingchi Evergrande. It is a moderate business hotel, but it is located in the scenic area. In fact, it would be great to build a homestay or boutique hotel in such a beautiful place, which is really a pity.

Dinner at the lakeside restaurant, drink Lhasa beer, recharge your batteries and continue the next day's itinerary.

Basongcuo is also called Cuogao Lake, which means "green water" in Tibetan. It is a famous sacred lake and holy place of the Red Sect in the deep valley of the high gorge.

The hotel is very close to the lake, but people need to walk to the "huxin island" in the lake to appreciate the lake and mountains. Walking on the plateau must be very slow. At least my physical strength should be as slow as possible, otherwise my heartbeat will speed up. It's actually not high here, only 3490 meters. If you use an Apple mobile phone, the built-in compass app will display the altitude when you open it, which is very convenient.

The lake is green, and tourists feed fish on the bridge connecting the island in the center of the lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains and reflections. On the island, there is the Tang Dynasty building "Cuozong Gongba Temple", which has a history of more than 1,500 years.

10 Santone Ranch

Continue to go deep from Basongcuo, also in the Basongtso Scenic Area, and walk on a very rugged mountain road. After more than an hour, I finally arrived at the last scenic spot of this Tibet trip-Sangtong Ranch.

If you suffer from motion sickness on this section of the road, it is best not to participate. The road is an undeveloped mountain road, and it needs to be off-road in very good condition to complete it.

The ranch is a paradise, inaccessible, only a few small houses. Our destination is a tent camp, where we can stay, there are restaurant tents, as well as special toilet tents and washing tents. Of course, it is not the same concept as the light luxury tents in Africa, and it is much better than camping by ourselves.

The camp specially hired experienced local chefs to cook dishes for tourists. It is quite delicious, very rich, with meat and vegetables, and sweet fruits.

This campsite is the starting point and the end point of the hike. Hiking to Xincuo for a round trip of 6 kilometers requires climbing three mountains. Don’t try it if you don’t have the strength or courage, because you can only go forward when you embark on the journey, and there is no turning back.

Many people put Tibet at the end of their domestic travel, and so do I. So far, it is the third last provincial administrative unit I have never been to. The big reason is that I am afraid of the height of Tibet, and I am afraid that there will be nowhere to hide when the high-level rebellion is serious. This time I was cruel, and took the Xinnaoxin pill prescribed by the hospital more than ten days in advance. These days, I am in good condition and have no reaction. Therefore, the itinerary in Tibet can be properly advanced. Nyingchi is lower than Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong and Shangri-La.

Finally, let’s talk about the way to relieve high-reflex: drink plenty of water, eat enough food, don’t be too full, take medicine more than ten days in advance, it’s useless to take it temporarily.

In addition, the contradiction of drinking water is that there are no toilets on the road, and they are basically self-service, such as in the woods, behind the wooden house, if you are a lady, bring a big umbrella.

My trip is a tour group, and I found it on the Ctrip Travel Channel by searching Sheye Tibet, and many products are optional.

If you are not particularly familiar with the situation, it is good to be super invincible, and walk freely with caution. The land is vast and sparsely populated, and it is difficult to find people. There is something that no one can help.

that's good
