Lijiang for one person, Dali for two people, Tengchong for one family. If I want to find a word to describe Tengchong, I think I will use "mix and match". There are not only boiling and surging mountain springs in Rehai, but also clear clouds and clear winds like Beihai wetlands. , The National War Cemetery gave it a strong and fierce heroism. Walking into Heshun, you feel as if you have come to a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. A stream of clear water flows around the village, an ancient bridge with double rainbows lies on the waves, and ancient willows on the riverside are like smoke. The caravans running on the ancient Southwest Silk Road brought foreign civilizations to Heshun. The collision of Eastern and Western cultures is particularly evident in Heshun's architecture. Tengchong is indeed suitable for a family to travel, no matter who it is, it is possible to find something that suits your preferences.

From Guangzhou to Tengchong, there is no direct flight. You can transfer in Kunming, Guiyang, or Nanning. I choose to take the high-speed rail from Guangzhou South to Nanning, and then fly to Tengchong. This is the most economical cost. Guangzhou South to The three-hour high-speed rail in Nanning costs more than 100 yuan, while Nanning Feitengchong often has a big discount, only 400 yuan. In the evening, I arrived in Tengchong. The pick-up master at the Bennuo Homestay I booked was waiting for me at the airport. In less than half an hour, the car arrived at Heshun Ancient Town. The houses in Heshun are all built against the hills, and it takes two minutes to walk along the winding alleys to reach Bennuo. As soon as I walked into the yard, I was amazed. A clear pool of water came into view. The bottom of the pool was small white stones, and the word Ben Nuo was piled up. A small tree is planted in the middle of the pool, and the pool water reflects the blue sky and white clouds. Looking around, the simple new Chinese style design, pure wood decoration, and an elegant and Zen atmosphere blow your face.

Putting down my luggage in a hurry, I rushed to the viewing platform of the hotel. Bennuo is built on the mountain, high in the south and low in the north, with a height difference of 3.5 meters, and the ancient walls around are preserved. The viewing platform on the southernmost side is unobstructed. You can enjoy the beautiful sunset when you look to the left, and you can overlook the pastoral scenery in the front.

Facing the emerald green fields, I just quietly watched the clouds and clouds, and the golden sun slowly set from the west. Everything in front of me was so beautiful, I suddenly felt that I had been poisoned by Tengchong.

Review Day 2

When I woke up, the aunt of the homestay had already prepared breakfast. The potatoes were small, the size of a finger, they looked cute, and they tasted very pink. Tengchong-flavored bait silk, Tengchong bait silk is very exquisite in craftsmanship, and its outstanding feature is that it is soft and has "muscles and bones", and it will not become mushy after a long time of cooking. Just boil it with big bone broth, add a few vegetables, and top it with a small spoonful of minced meat, and the taste will be incomparably delicious.

In the early morning, the sun shines on the blue bricks and black tiles of Heshun Ancient Town, as if to unveil her mysterious veil. A picture scroll of the ancient town unfolded slowly, and two tourists strolled leisurely in the alleys.

Because the small river passes around the village, it was renamed "Heshun", which later took the meaning of "Shihe Minshun" and elegantly changed it to "Heshun". This is definitely a place worth savoring carefully. Every old building tells a piece of history. Walking in the alleys of the ancient town and stepping on the stone road, it seems that you can still hear the voice of history. Years have flowed through here, taking away the former glory, but another glory is still continuing. Entering the ancient town of Heshun, in Heshun, it stretches for several kilometers. The residential buildings of the Ming and Qing Dynasties are concentrated here. The clear water flows around the village, and the ancient willows on the riverside are like smoke, which makes this town look like a small town in the south of the Yangtze River. The watery tenderness. Compared with most ancient towns in China, this place is more leisurely and peaceful, and the commercial atmosphere is not so strong.

It used to be an important town of caravans and a necessary place for the ancient "Southwest Silk Road", where various foreign cultures blended. Hundreds of years ago, the ancestors of the ancient town came from the Central Plains to this extreme land to cultivate and guard the frontier. Because of the inexhaustible longing for the ancient tea-horse road, groups of caravans ran on the ancient Southwest Silk Road, exploring a road of survival and life with a resolute and resolute spirit. Rich businessmen who have succeeded in their careers returned to Heshun to build their homes, and there are many ancient ancestral halls, ancient buildings, and ancient archways that are still in front of us today...

The Cun's Ancestral Hall, also known as the Cun's Ancestral Hall, is a landmark building in Heshun Ancient Town and a symbol of the Cun's clan in Tengchong. The South Asian-style gate of the Cun's Ancestral Hall. The gate of the Cun's Ancestral Hall is different. The gates of the Biejia Clan's Ancestral Hall are all traditional cornices, bucket arches, and tile-wood structures. Only the Cun's Ancestral Hall's gate is unconventional in terms of materials and appearance. It is a typical South Asian style and full of foreign style. It has formed a classic work combining Chinese and foreign countries. There are stone poles on the left and right sides, and there are two stone buckets on each pole (established by Cun Kaitai, a Jinshi in Yiwei Division, Guangxu, Qing Dynasty).

Liu's ancestral hall was built in the fifth year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty, with a quiet environment. In the temple, there are steles of "forever exempting money and food" and "protecting my descendants" during the Qianlong period, as well as the monuments of the three ancestors of Han Gaozu Liu Bang, Guangwu Emperor Liu Xiu, and Zhaolie Emperor Liu Bei. The most special thing is that there is a lotus pond in front of the ancestral hall, which can only be reached by crossing a beautiful stone bridge.

Li's ancestral hall is the highest in the entire Heshun ancient town. It is condescending, with white walls and gray tiles. It covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters. Counting from the gate, there are more than 100 steps on the nine-fold platform. Start from the main road and go straight to the nine-story platform foundation of the hall, with more than one hundred steps of stone steps. On the top is the majestic three-bay archway-style gate, and the innermost one is the main hall and three corridors on both sides. It is famous for its grand layout, high terrain, wide vision and beautiful scenery.

In Heshun Ancient Town, my favorite is Heshun Library. Heshun produced 8 juren and 403 scholars in the Ming and Qing dynasties. It can be regarded as quite prosperous to produce so many talents in 600 years. It can be described as outstanding. The predecessor of the library was the "Xianxin Club" organized by Cun Fuqing, a member of the Heshun League in the late Qing Dynasty, and the "Reading Book Newspaper Club" established in 1924. After overseas Chinese and villagers donated books, it was expanded into a library in 1928 and 1938. The new building was completed in the new year. Behind me, on a high place is the stone inscription "Cultural Tianjin" written by Li Shizeng, who was once the dean of the Palace Museum and the president of the Sino-French University. It is very eye-catching with white characters on a blue background. In the middle of the door hangs a writing by Mr. Hu Shi, a master of Chinese studies and a leader of the New Culture Movement. The plaque of "Heshun Library" is on the lower part of the inscription "Fountain of People's Wisdom" inscribed by Xiong Qinglai, a famous Chinese mathematician and former president of Yunnan University. The inscriptions of the three university presidents are in the same frame, which is really rare, and it also shows the profound cultural heritage of Heshun.

The main building is a two-story five-bay wooden structure building, with two half-hexagonal pavilions protruding from both sides of the front. Walking into the library, the tables and chairs inside look very nostalgic. In this border town, the township library built in the 1920s has a collection of more than 70,000 books, 10,000 ancient books and rare books. With multiple volumes, it is number one in the field of Chinese rural culture!

On the small river that surrounds Heshun, you will see a small pavilion at intervals. The pavilion is built in the shape of a well with stone strips, and there are benches for people to rest next to it. This is the most unique building in Heshun - the laundry kiosk. The laundry booth stands on the water with flying horns and ridges, surrounded by ventilation. There are as many as six laundry booths like this for women to shelter from the sun and rain. Each laundry booth is about 10 square meters in size, with slightly raised corners, simple and exquisite. plate. In Heshun, regardless of poverty or wealth, generations of men have always followed the camel bells of the caravans and left Yifang to do business in Myanmar to make a living. The men who travel to the barbarians are both sons, husbands, and fathers, and they always have many concerns that cannot be let go. They always want to make up for it, and give some comfort and care to the women at home. So I made some money outside and returned to my hometown, and I invited one person or two or two to share, prepared materials and hired workers, and built stones and pavilions on the river. Over time, there are large and small laundry kiosks on the small river along this road. The laundry kiosks have become the most unique and gentle public welfare buildings in Heshun, just like the strong arms of Heshun men. Although they cannot shield the women from wind and rain, they make them feel warm and dependent.

To the east of Heshun Ancient Town, there is a beach of turquoise lake, which is the beautiful and elegant Wild Duck Lake. It is said that every winter, migratory birds migrating southward gather here to overwinter, and flocks of migratory birds and wild ducks are playing and enjoying the comfort of the winter sun. It was summer when I came, and I didn't see migratory birds, but there were patches of flowers blooming by the lake, which was another beautiful scene.

There is a Longtan above the Yeya Lake, which is formed by an underground spring. The Dragon and Phoenix Pavilion in the lake and the Yuanlong Pavilion by the lake are reflected in it, which is very beautiful.

There is a "Li Mansion Jade Courtyard" on the side of Longtan. At first, I thought it was just an ordinary shop selling jadeite. After I went in and took a closer look, I realized that this was the old residence of Li Gengen, the acting prime minister of the country. Mr. Li Genyuan was a veteran of the Republic of China, who led the establishment of the Yunnan Army Lecture Hall, and was also the mentor of Marshal Zhu De.

The descendants of Mr. Li Yuanyuan founded the Lifu Jade Courtyard here to sell jade ornaments. Here I have to talk about the jade culture of Tengchong and Heshun. There is an old saying: Jade comes from Tengyue, and it is transported from Heshun. Tengyue Prefecture was once under the jurisdiction of Yongchang Prefecture in Yunnan during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. Later, due to the rise of the Dongwu Dynasty in Myanmar and the invasion of British colonists, a large area of land was included in the territory of Myanmar, and jadeite became a national treasure of Myanmar. It can be said that the mining, transportation, processing, and sales of jadeite have always been done by Yunnan people. When the commercial road from Tengchong to Myanmar was at its peak, more than 20,000 mules and horses passed through it every day. Tengchong's jewelry trade accounted for almost 90% of the world's jade trade. In Tengchong, Heshun Ancient Town has the most connection with Jadeite. It is said that every house and every street here hides a Jadeite story. And in the streets and alleys of Heshun, there are many shops selling jade and jade. I don't know much about jade, but if I want to buy it, I will definitely choose a time-honored brand like Li's House, at least it is guaranteed.

Tengchong Jadeite Museum is the world's first jadeite museum, which gathers more than 200 kinds of strange mineral crystal specimens, more than 10,000 pieces, and nearly 1,000 pieces of exquisite and top-quality objects. Covering an area of more than 2,000 square meters, the total area of the exhibition hall is 4,510 square meters. It displays the mining and processing of jadeite, the history of jadeite trade, famous jadeite merchants, the appreciation of jadeite boutiques, and the evaluation and identification of jadeite. And other means to fully demonstrate Tengchong's nearly 600-year jadeite history.

The museum has the largest jadeite in the world, which is 3.4 meters long, 2.9 meters wide, 2.3 meters high and weighs more than 24 tons. This piece of rough stone not only has a good purple, but also has a greenish color, and even a not so perfect black. The Creator of Nature is truly miraculous!

A batch of ancient jade ornaments attracted my attention. The two bracelets in the picture above have five colors, generally speaking, green, purple, and yellow. They are called Fu Lu Shou Jade in the jade industry. Rare, but five-color bracelets can be described as the best priceless treasures.

There is also the bracelet of the ice species on the right side of the picture above, which is also unique.

And some contemporary rare jadeite ornaments are eye-opening for me. I am often amazed at the ingenuity of each work. It is hard to imagine how skillful these wonderful patterns and precise carvings can be made.

Tengchong Beihai Wetland Reserve is surrounded by mountains and has a special geographical location. Unlike other wetlands, this is a plateau volcanic barrier lake ecosystem. Large areas of land floating on the water are covered with grass and wild flowers, like a colorful giant tapestry. , so it is also called "the grassland floating on the water".

Taking a cruise ship, wandering on the beautiful and tranquil lake, with the blue sky and white clouds passing over the head, the emerald green lake under your feet, and the gentle breeze blowing, you can't help but feel relaxed and happy.

I believe that many people have experienced rowing, but it is the first time I have seen grass rowing. It is said that in the past, the natives of Beihai used to cut a small piece of grass floating on the water and used it as a bamboo raft. Of course, for the sake of arrangement, tires are added underneath to increase the buoyancy and support the long raft. It is not easy to control the grass raft with a bamboo pole. The angle, position, speed and strength of the pole must be mastered, otherwise the grass raft will be messed up in the water dough.

In the evening, when I returned to Benno B&B, I had time to slowly experience this elegant B&B. The super large tea room, restaurant and observation deck on the first floor occupy most of the space of the B&B. The big tea room is my favorite place. There is a big tea table in the middle. It is more than enough for five or six people to drink tea and chat here. There is a spacious row of bookshelves beside it. A teapot, looking at the beautiful scenery outside, the gentle breeze blows, time slips away slowly like this. I just met a group of girlfriends who came to Heshun to play here. It's pretty good to have a concave shape here.

The upper floor of the tea room is the largest room with the best view in Benno. The whole decoration of the room is relatively light and elegant, and it looks neat and comfortable. Inside is an extremely large wooden bed, the bed is white and soft. The north side is floor-to-ceiling glass, and the gentle sunlight outside the window shines through the floor-to-ceiling windows. There is a set of sofa and tea table beside the window, where you can enjoy your private space quietly.

The bathroom is divided into dry and wet areas, with a shower room and a bathtub. Looking out from the gaps in the curtains, you can see the ancient town of Heshun and the green fields. There is also a Yuba installed in the bathroom, and the neatly arranged toiletries look very classy.

When I woke up, it was another beautiful day. It took 40 minutes to arrive at the Volcano Heritage Park from Benno B&B. Entering the gate of the scenic spot, there is a small museum about volcanoes on the right hand side, where you can learn about the formation and structure of volcanoes. Thousands of years ago, the two major plates of the earth collided violently in Tengchong. For a time, dozens of volcanoes erupted, magma spewed out, the sky and the earth were chaotic, and the mountains and rivers reorganized. A poet said that here, ninety-nine volcanoes have ninety-nine times the passion.

The mountains in Tengchong are mostly truncated conical volcanoes. When you come to the Volcano Geopark, the most well-preserved and highest altitude is Dakong Mountain, and the south is Xiaokong Mountain, which is relatively small and can be easily climbed on it. The first thing that catches the eye is the large circular crater on the top of the mountain, which is the crater left by the volcanic eruption that year. This crater is surprisingly large. The round cone is full of green grass.

If you don't want to climb the mountain, you can take a hot air balloon or glider in the scenic area to overlook the spectacular and dense crater from another angle. "A good Tengyue Prefecture, ten mountains and nine headless" is the most appropriate description given by the local people in Tengchong. Many of Tengchong The volcanic bag has round pits on the top of the mountain, and no sharp peaks can be seen. Looking down from a height, you can see this unique geographical wonder more clearly.

In the Heiyu River, we can see the columnar joints formed by the volcanic eruption, which is also the largest and best-preserved columnar joints found so far in my country. The columnar joints are located on the cliff, and the distribution is regular and orderly. They are blue-black in color and can be seen clearly. Most of them are hexagonal columns, and there are also five-edge and four-edge. From a distance, it looks like a beehive in a radial shape, more like a fan dropped from the sky, where the goddess scatter flowers, flying wild.

At noon, we came to Dongguan Village. At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, Tengchong, known as the "No. Among the five famous business gangs, Beideng and Wanlouzi, the richest "Xidong" refers to the Dong family in Dongguan Village, about four kilometers away from the city, where the Xidong Garden is located today. Dongguan Village is located at the west end of Tengchong Xishanba. It plays a pivotal role in the history of Tengchong’s industrial and commercial development. There are well-preserved ancient houses, ancient ancestral halls, ancient temples, and ancient gates. "Record", commercial trade radiates 32 countries on five continents. Xidong Garden is the most classic old building in Dongguan Village. Most of the houses here are Qing-style buildings with exquisite materials, exquisite workmanship and beautiful appearance. The Dong family is not only experienced in business, but also enthusiastic about patriotism. They donated three aircraft during the Anti-Japanese War, and donated money for the construction of the National Memorial Cemetery, library, hospital, school, etc. after the war.

Today, in Xidong Garden, you can not only visit old buildings, learn about the history of the Dong family and the caravan, but also taste authentic Tengchong cuisine. Roasted pig with small ears, cured goose in oil with rice balls, carved plum ribs, Hongqiao pork ribs, fried green and red pepper mushrooms, volcanic hot sea, sea vegetable and taro soup, fried small squash with tomatoes, potato cakes, and emerald dumplings are all very delicious.

It is particularly worth mentioning that the dish in the picture above is called Volcano Atami, which already has Tengchong characteristics from the name. The middle of the pot is a round hollow, which can be put into a charcoal fire. It really looks like a crater, and the pot Inside, there are crispy meat, bubble skin, egg rolls, meatballs, quail eggs, and various vegetables. The broth is simmered, and it is steaming when served, which is quite atmospheric.

Volcanic and geothermal heat is accompanied by this, which is a gift from nature to Tengchong. The Hot Sea Scenic Area in Tengchong is one of the three major geothermal areas in China. The high temperature of the terrain, the abundance of steam, and the strong hydrothermal movement are really rare. Walking slowly in the mountain stream of Atami, you will encounter countless large and small gas springs and waterfalls, Pearl Spring, Sister Spring, Guming Spring,...

The mist gushing out is misty among the mountains, engulfed in geothermal heat. It was steaming hot and there was a hissing sound everywhere. The strong sulfur smell accompanied us all the way, and we couldn't help but marvel at the uncanny work of nature, and our hearts were full of awe.

The most spectacular thing is the big rolling pot, a basin-shaped boiling pool with a diameter of more than 3 meters and a depth of about 1.5 meters. It is said that the temperature of the spring is more than 100 degrees, and the temperature of the water surface is more than 90 degrees. The sound is loud and the steam is soaring into the sky. The local people use the air vents by the spring, put straw on them, steam sweet potatoes and potatoes, and boil eggs in the "big boiling pot" hot spring, which is also a major feature.

There are also hot springs in the scenic area for soaking. The hot springs here are represented by sulfur springs, hydrogen phosphate springs, and radon fluorine springs, which can treat rheumatoid arthritis, lumbar muscle strain, sciatica and other diseases. What is obviously different from the hot springs in other places is that the hot spring water here is blue-green, and the pools of hot springs are like pieces of jasper inlaid in the mountains.

As night fell and the sky gradually darkened, we returned to Heshun Ancient Town, with soft lights and cool breeze. The prosperity of the day has faded away, and the ancient town is even more peaceful now.

Unlike many other ancient towns with a strong commercial flavor, Heshun does not have too many lights and shops at night, and there are not many shops. There are people coming and going, dim lights, quiet stone roads, and only a few shops selling tea and clothing. Lights on.

Back to the Benno B&B where we stayed. For a traveler, the B&B is their home on the road and a warm stop. Let you easily enjoy all the joy of the journey, stay away from the hustle and bustle, and find a pure land for your soul. I am very satisfied with Benno’s home, clean, tidy and elegant, even if I don’t do anything, I lie on the sofa in the tea room, quietly looking at the ancient town outside, relax, enjoy the slow passage of time, the years are quiet, Kaijin, the housekeeper of the B&B, is also very enthusiastic. He will introduce you to interesting and delicious places familiar with each other, and arrange your itinerary properly.

I will leave tomorrow, so I feel a sense of reluctance. When I first visited Tengchong, I passed by in a hurry and missed a lot of scenery. I always feel that there are still many places that I have not had time to savor. Leaving a little regret is not a kind of beauty! It is said that Tengchong in autumn is a golden world. I think, I will come again when a certain autumn day comes.
