Because of the impact of the epidemic, everyone will stay at home in the first half of 2020, all scenic spots will be closed, and the tourism industry will be at a standstill. Therefore, the 8-day National Day holiday is extremely rare. For me, the first is that my unit has not been able to leave Beijing, the second is that I took a few days off at the end of September to go back to my hometown to visit my parents, and the third is that my daughter made it clear that she will not spend the holiday with us. Therefore, the National Day holiday has become a rare time for our husband and wife to spend alone.
I made a comprehensive comparison of several routes. I didn’t want to go to popular attractions to join in the fun, but also wanted to stay at home for a few days to rest. Finally, I chose the surrounding Shijiazhuang three-day free travel route. After three days, the overall feeling is very rewarding, and I have a new understanding of Hebei, the land of Yanzhao.
1. The first day:
The high-speed rail on October 2 is specially scheduled so that you can avoid the travel peak. Take the G9061 high-speed rail to Shijiazhuang directly, and stop at 7:21, and once again experience the convenience and speed of the high-speed rail. The only thing that is strange is that the seats are tight when booking tickets online, but in fact there are still many empty seats in the car, which is said to be the reason for "the whole journey is prioritized". After arriving in Shijiazhuang, I temporarily changed the itinerary on the first day and decided to go to Zhengding first, and I would have more time to go to Xibaipo the next day.
After checking, it only cost more than 40 yuan to go to Zhengding for a taxi, and I directly took a special car with "Hua Xiaozhu", which was very convenient. The driver introduced a lot of conditions in Hebei. Here I would like to specifically praise "Hua Xiaozhu". This platform was used for all taxi rides for three days this time. The "Hua Xiaozhu" platform in Shijiazhuang has a lot of vehicles, and the fare is nearly one-third cheaper than Didi. Also because it was recommended by the husband, he was responsible for taking the taxi for the whole journey, and took this opportunity to squeeze out a lot of his private money.
When we arrived at Zhengding Ancient City, we found that it was too early, and the shops were closed. After walking around the ancient city for nearly 9 o'clock, we still couldn't find an early opening. I finally saw a shop that opened the door and went in to see that the store was having breakfast. We ordered haggis soup and siu mai, and also ate two deep-fried dough sticks that the store prepared for us. The next tour plan.
As soon as I entered the ancient city, I was surprised. The towering gray city walls and the towering ancient towers all showed me the long history here. I didn't expect that a county could retain so many historical relics, and I didn't expect to visit the market here. The planning is scientific and reasonable. There are free electric sightseeing cars in the scenic area, and there are bus stops in the main scenic spots, which is very convenient. We took a bus to Chengling Pagoda of Linji Temple, Hua Pagoda of Guanghui Temple, Sumi Pagoda of Kaiyuan Temple, and Lingxiao Pagoda of Tianning Temple. fine. Guanghui Temple and Kaiyuan Temple need tickets, which is a bit of a disadvantage, especially Guanghui Temple. There is only a Huata inside, which can also be seen from the outside. You can only get closer when you go in. Take a look at the introduction.
Take a battery car to reach the scenic spots behind. Longxing Temple is very famous and there are more tourists. The Long Temple was first built in the Sui Dynasty and has undergone several generations of repairs. It is now one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved temples in the country. Longxing Temple does not have a great reputation today, but it was a temple that was valued by the royal family in history. There are Bodhisattva statues built by Zhao Kuangyin, Emperor Taizu of the Song Dynasty, the footprints of the emperors of the Qing Dynasty, handwritten inscriptions, and plaques, which are known as the "six most". It's worth watching. Located in the Dabei Pavilion in the center of the temple, there is a statue of Avalokitesvara with thousands of hands and eyes. It was built by Zhao Kuangyin himself in the Northern Song Dynasty. It is 21.3 meters high and very spectacular. Therefore, Longxing Temple is called the Great Buddha Temple.
On the way, I went to Zhengding Museum to have a look. The collection area is not large, and the collection is not many, but a county-level unit builds a museum. This kind of emphasis on history and culture is commendable.
The scenic spots near Longxing Temple include Rongning Street, which is the location for filming Dream of Red Mansions, and Zhaoyun Temple, which is the hometown of Changshan and Zhao Zilong in Zhengding history. Because there is a Grand View Garden in Beijing, I am not interested in building a scenic spot, so I just pass by the gate.
When I returned to Shijiazhuang, I followed the advice of a local old man. It was very convenient to take the No. 130 bus directly to the museum and transfer to the subway. It’s just that the bus driver’s attitude is unfriendly, and the swiping code is always unsuccessful. When asked why, he didn’t answer directly, but repeatedly said loudly: “Didn’t you hear what the machine said? That’s what it means. You don’t understand and I don’t understand.” Finally Just stuffed five yuan in cash.
After arriving at the museum station, I found a nearby restaurant for dinner, and then saw that the museum was right in front of me, so I decided to go to the museum temporarily. The husband couldn't walk anymore, so he sat on the second floor to rest and waited for me, and I went to the exhibition hall by myself. The Hebei Museum has a large area, many exhibition halls, and rich exhibits. In history, Hebei was an area of Youzhou, Jizhou, Yan, and Zhao. It has a long and profound history and culture. Many collections are very precious. The introduction text of the exhibits is also very thoughtful. Many historical stories that have been passed down to the present are designed into animations, paintings, etc. The form matches the display and is very popular with children.
The first task when returning to the hotel at night is to find a restaurant to comfort the body after a hard day. After choosing food platforms for a long time, I found that there is no special food in Hebei. Finally, I chose Xiaofang Niu Restaurant based on the good reviews. I am very satisfied. The waiters have a good attitude, the dishes taste good, and the portions are also suitable. I ordered three special dishes and two bottles of beer for two people. Consumption is less than 200 yuan. It finally came to a successful end to a tiring day.
Two, the second day
Today's itinerary is to go to Xibaipo. There are few buses from Shijiazhuang to Xibaipo, and the time is long. In the end, I chose "Hua Xiaozhu" to take a taxi. It only takes an hour and costs more than 100 yuan.
There are many tourists in Xibaipo, so I bought the battery car first, which is divided into second class. It is recommended to buy three scenic spots. First arrive at the former site of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Xibaipo is one of the five revolutionary holy places in my country, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, and was once the seat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. "China's destiny is determined in this village", this is the inscription of Comrade Zhu Muzhi, then director of the International Publicity Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. In the old site museum, you can see the former residences of Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Liu Shaoqi, Zhou Enlai, Ren Bishi, Dong Biwu and other leaders, the site of the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the site where the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China received the representatives of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and the Shanghai People's Peace Delegation, Air-raid shelters and other restoration sites. In the simple rooms, the furnishings are simple and the area is small, most of the beds are supported by benches. But under such conditions, the Party Central Committee and Chairman Mao directed the three major battles of Liaoshen, Huaihai, and Pingjin that shocked the world, held the Second Plenary Session of the Seventh Central Committee and the National Land Conference with great historical significance, and liberated the entire country. China, "New China came from here", this small mountain village hidden by trees in the deep mountains determines the fate of China. Looking back at the present and looking back at the past, I can't help feeling that the road to revolution is difficult and dangerous, and the achievements of victory are hard-won. The road to the development of the Communist Party and the birth of the new China has gone through hardships.
Then went to the memorial hall, a total of 12 exhibition rooms. The content of the exhibition is based on the activities of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Xibaipo in the late period of the War of Liberation as the main line, and more intuitively and vividly shows the great revolutionary practice of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Xibaipo. The name of the Xibaipo Monument "Xibaipo" is the handwriting of Comrade Deng Xiaoping. The inscription is Comrade Jiang Zemin's inscription for Xibaipo in 1991, "keep in mind two musts, and build socialism with Chinese characteristics." The bronze statues of the five leaders are places for tourists to take pictures.
I ran into trouble when I returned in the afternoon, there was no return taxi, and I waited for the bus to return with a few tourists returning to the city. When I got on the bus, I found out that it was a worn-out and old bus. It turned out that I took this kind of bus when I went to school more than 20 years ago. The car does not take the high speed, but crosses the street and the village, which makes me feel like I have traveled back to my childhood.
The place I chose for dinner today is Baoding Hall. The online reviews are good, but the actual experience is extremely poor. The dishes are large, the taste is not satisfactory, not suitable for two, the price is high, and the most important thing is the poor service attitude. The husband saw the special salted duck eggs, thought it was a special feature of the restaurant and wanted to taste it, but the waiter directly took out a bag of vacuum-packed duck eggs from the box and cut them open with a knife in front of us. This operation shocked us Both of us, quickly returned. There were no napkins on the table, so I asked the waiter and gave me a box. When I checked out, I found out that chopsticks and napkins were charged. I was shocked. I asked the waiter, should guests be allowed to bring their own chopsticks and napkins to eat? The waiter took it for granted: "There is a fee, and you can take it away." It means that I have to pay for chopsticks and napkins first when I come to eat, and the price is still up to the hotel.
Three, the third day:
Today's itinerary is Zhaozhou Bridge. With the experience of the previous two days, I chose "Hua Xiaozhu" without hesitation today. After getting on the bus, I directly negotiated the charter price with the driver.
I have learned it in the textbook of Zhaozhou Bridge Primary School. The scenic spot is not big, just around the area of Zhaozhou Bridge. It is still very shocking to see the Zhaozhou Bridge in the picture in the textbook standing in front of my eyes. Beautiful body, like a rainbow. The river flows leisurely, thinking that this river has been flowing for a thousand years, and this bridge has been spanning a thousand years, I can't help feeling a sense of vicissitudes of history. In order to reduce the burden on the bridge, another modern bridge was built on the river not far away for the purpose of commuting. The modern bridge is made of metal, and the paint has fallen off. A comparison of the two bridges shows the ingenuity of the ancients. Every piece of stone and every arch hole is carefully polished by craftsmen, and it has become more elegant after the wind and rain.
On the way, I went to Berlin Zen Temple. This temple was built during the Jian'an period of Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty. Xuanzang once studied Buddhism here, and gradually became the center of Buddhism in Yanzhao area. The ancient cypresses, buildings, and Buddha statues in the courtyard are all worth seeing. It is currently the Buddhist Association of Hebei Province, with more than 100 monks. There are many posters of Buddhist knowledge in the corridors of the temple. The pictures are simple and the text is easy to understand. It is very rewarding to read carefully.
In the afternoon, I arrived at the high-speed rail station ahead of time. After changing the ticket, I took the bus back to Beijing. I arrived home at 5 pm, and the three-day tour was successfully concluded.
Four, some experience:
I didn't know much about the history and culture of Hebei before.
The tour has a better understanding of Yanzhao culture. The overall feeling is that Hebei's development is slow, and there is no sense of prosperity in other cities, especially the municipal facilities are not perfect. As the provincial capital, Shijiazhuang's presence is too low. Along the way, apart from the historical relics, there seems to be nothing else that makes me feel deeply. Now we are vigorously promoting the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. I sincerely hope that Hebei can seize this opportunity to catch up with the pace of development. In addition, before traveling to a place, you still need to learn more about history and culture, so that you can combine with what you see locally to deepen your understanding. This time I went to Zhengding because I read the article about the development of Buddhism in "Chinese Culture Class" written by Yu Qiuyu, which introduced the knowledge of Linji Sect and Zen Sect, so I have a deeper understanding of several temples. In the end, I still feel that the Chinese civilization has a long history and the land of China is so beautiful. I hope to go out more in my lifetime to enjoy the great rivers and mountains of China and appreciate the splendid civilization of China.
