Shibaoshan Grottoes
This is the earliest and largest grotto group in Yunnan, with a history of more than 1,000 years. It is located in Shizhong Mountain, where there are jagged cliffs and strange rocks and rocks. The twisted pine, which is called "impatient pine" by the locals, is all over the valleys in the mountains. On the south hillside, green bamboos surround a group of antique houses, which is Shizhong Temple. There is a huge stone in the temple, which is shaped like an inverted bell, so it is named after Shizhong Mountain. In addition to many Buddha statues in the grottoes, there are also some female reproductive organs, which entrust the wishes of the Bai ancestors to have more children and more blessings. Tickets are 60 yuan/person.
Transportation: Take a bus at Xiaguan Passenger Station to Jianchuan County, and then transfer to Shibaoshan.
Wuwei Temple
The royal temple of Dali Kingdom, it is said that 8 emperors of Dali Kingdom once became monks here. Hidden in the mountains and forests, it has escaped war damage and political infringement. The incense has not been cut off for thousands of years, and continues to this day. Wuwei Temple is located at the east foot of Lanfeng in Cangshan Mountain, 5 kilometers away from the north gate of the ancient city. Compared with Chongsheng Temple at the foot of the mountain, Wuwei Temple is more "quiet and inaction", very quiet, with towering ancient trees in the temple. This is also the birthplace of Dali martial arts. Sometimes you can see foreign friends come here to learn Chinese martial arts.
Transportation: Take the C7 urban and rural bus next to the west gate (Cangshan gate) of Dali ancient city. Get off at Nanyang (the fare is one yuan). It can be reached by walking about six kilometers west along the side of Nanyang Village.
Erhai Moon Wetland Park
This is the most beautiful wetland park in Xiaguan, open to the public for free. There are many trees along the coast, and there are many reeds in the water. If you are lucky here, you can also see beautiful purple water chickens. Over the years, the ecology of Erhai Lake has become better and better, and sea cauliflower and many water birds that have disappeared for many years have also appeared. You can also see a variety of water birds here. There is a long covered bridge here, which is very beautiful at night.
Transportation: You can take the No. 4 bus or the Three Towers Special Line and get off at Wanhua Gas Station or Erhai Manor, and you can walk a short distance to get there. The ticket is 3 yuan per person.
Dali Ancient Town
The ancient city at the foot of Cangshan Mountain is a must-see place in Dali. In winter, there are winter cherry blossoms and Cangshan snow, and in autumn, there are ginkgo trees on Yu'er Road. In the ancient city in the morning, sometimes you can hear the melodious cucurbit silk and the "jingling" of the silverware shops on both sides of the street. At noon, you can find a small bookstore or coffee shop, read a book, chat, and be in a daze. In the evening, there is a stunning Cangshan sunset. In the ancient city of Dali at night, Renmin Road and Foreigner Street are very lively, as well as the magnificent Nancheng Gate and Wuhua Building.

You can eat and drink along Fuxing Road and Renmin Road.
