Originally, I made a plan to go to Jiuzhaigou at the beginning of the year, but a sudden epidemic completely disrupted my rhythm, and the trip to Jiuzhaigou was delayed for more than half a year. After entering the second half of 2020, there are more and more things in hand, and the long journey is even more distant. Since I don't have time to go out of the province, at least I have to go out of the city to play. Well, I am such an unprincipled person.
Sometimes when I think about it, it’s good to travel like this. Don't make strategies, don't look up information, just follow the mobile phone navigation, with a curious heart. You never know what kind of scenery you will meet in the next second. Perhaps, this is the charm of travel.
Before I set off, I never thought that in Fenglongwan town, I would fall in love with a handicraft museum like I fell in love with a person. It is the Swan Market located in the commercial street of Weiwu Village, a small town. The reason why it is called the Swan Market may be because its shape is a pair of swans.
I have seen a lot of handmade museums during my trip, but most of them are in the name of handmade experience, and they are actually selling goods. Moreover, the decoration styles of those handicraft halls are similar. Even if there are handicraft experience courses, the items that can be experienced are very limited. But the Swan Market has subverted my perception of handmade museums.
It's hard for you to imagine that in a limited space, the Swan Market can gather more than ten handmade experience items such as leather goods, embroidery, tie-dye, cyanotype, weaving, rubbing, knocking and dyeing, and it's not selling goods, it's real hands-on experience. It's not for you to figure it out yourself, it's the kind taught by someone.
My favorite is the experience of plant dyeing. It is also the first time I know that plant dyeing comes from nature and returns to nature. In a small manual experience, the wisdom and cultural inheritance of the ancestors are hidden.
The warm sheets that took several hours to dye brought me not only the touch of this trip, but also the beautiful imagination of the future (don’t ask me why I dye the sheets, I don’t know this question). This trip can be regarded as becoming acquainted with this handicraft museum.
