Ningxia Shuidonggou Tourist Scenic Spot is the earliest Paleolithic cultural site excavated in China. It is known as "the birthplace of Chinese prehistoric archaeology" and "the historical witness of Chinese and Western cultural exchanges". The Shuidonggou Site Museum is located in Lingwu, Yinchuan City, Ningxia Linhe Town is at the foot of the Ming Great Wall, 24 kilometers away from the capital Yinchuan City, 11 kilometers away from Hedong Airport, with a construction area of 4308 square meters. The architectural form is based on the most characteristic stone leaves of the Western Most culture in the Paleolithic cultural materials of Shuidonggou, and the main color of the stone tools and the environment of the site-earth yellow is the basic color, and the shape resembles the shape of stone tools. It is the only theme museum in the western region of my country that displays the appearance of the Paleolithic Age.
Shuidonggou is the earliest Paleolithic cultural site excavated in my country, and it is a world-famous cultural site. The discovery of the Shuidonggou site broke the erroneous conclusion of Western scholars that there are no Paleolithic cultural sites in China, created a precedent for the study of the Paleolithic Age in my country, and attracted the attention of many Chinese and foreign scholars. The father, Mr. Liu Dongsheng, praised it as "the renaissance of Paleolithic archaeology in China"!
The Shuidonggou Site Museum was built under this cultural background. Its main feature is the integration of artistic, literary and high-tech innovative elements on the basis of traditional museums. With large-scale reliefs, 270-degree large-scale half-view paintings, animation, phantom imaging, real scenes and objects, combined with the use of the world's most advanced technologies such as sound, light, electricity, and adjustable seismic platforms, it truly reproduces the creation of ancient humans 30,000 years ago. Stone tools, sacrifices, fishing and hunting and other enjoyable production and life scenes, as well as shocking scenes when disasters strike. It created a precedent for the display form of Chinese museums, making it the most advanced exhibition hall in China, and has been unanimously recognized by experts from all over the world.
The museum is divided into two parts: the above-ground ring gallery exhibition area and the sunken exhibition area. According to the order of the 120-meter exhibition line of the above-ground ring gallery, it is designed into 5 units: preface, human evolution history, Chinese Paleolithic site, Ningxia Shuidonggou cultural site, and conclusion . The focus is on the Ningxia Shuidonggou Cultural Site Unit, which includes the geographical overview of Shuidonggou, the geological structure of the site, the paleoenvironmental characteristics of Shuidonggou, the discovery of the Shuidonggou site, the distribution map of the site, the Shuidonggou The five excavations, the excavation results of the Shuidonggou site, the research on the Shuidonggou site, the production and life scenes of the people in Shuidonggou are nine parts. In terms of exhibition form, it breaks the conventional exhibition mode of only using showcases to display cultural relics, and integrates cultural relics, charts, sculptures, oil paintings, scene restoration, earthquake platforms, flash floods, sand tables, multimedia displays, and audience interactive participation. The latest international scientific and technological achievements, especially digital technology and multimedia technology, will enhance the exhibition effect as a whole.

Shuidonggou Tibetan Bing Cave is a place worth visiting. The so-called Tibetan soldier cave is the tunnel where the defenders of Hongshan Fort moved from the ground to the ground, concealed the army, protected themselves, waited for an attack, or set up an ambush in an open place. This is the only and most complete ancient three-dimensional military defense system in the country. In my country's Great Wall defense system, there is no such thing as the Great Wall, castles and underground caves that are closely linked together. This is the only place in the country. The Cangbing Cave, which is now unfolding in front of our eyes, is the earliest tunnel warfare site and prototype in our country. If during the Anti-Japanese War, the tunnel warfare of the Eighth Route Army and the guerrillas made the enemy tremble with fear, then we can imagine that the frontier defenders in the Ming Dynasty more than 500 years ago used the same wisdom and bravery to keep the invaders from the Great Wall. In the past, due to lack of development, there were no conditions for cave tours at all. People only know that the "Zangbing Cave" road is tortuous, like a maze, and the roof of the cave has collapsed, many places are covered by soil, there are traps in the cave, and there may be snakes and scorpions, so people dare not go far into the cave. . No one can tell what is going on inside the cave. In this way, the "Cave of Tibetan Soldiers" has become a very mysterious place that people are afraid of. Today, we can safely go in and feast our eyes, but we must follow the route guided by the signs to prevent getting lost and unable to get out.

You can also see ostriches, reindeer, and camels here. In the winter in the northwest, they are smart and full of vitality, bringing warmth to the hearts of people in the cold winter.
