It has been 13 days since I set off from Shenzhen, and I have gone through Shenzhen---Kunming----Stone Forest----Lijiang----Shangri-La-----Dali---Ruili------Myanmar for one day Tour --- Tengchong.

Thirteenth day (February 28) Tengchong - Xishuangbanna (ninth stop)
Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southwest of Yunnan, and its state capital is Jinghong City. The Xishuang Dai language means "twelve", and Banna means "one thousand mu", that is, one Banna is a tax and service unit.
Transportation options from Tengchong to Xishuangbanna: One is convenient and fast by plane; one is to take a bus to Xishuangbanna via Kunming at high speed, and the other is to take a bus to Dali at high speed and then go to Xishuangbanna from Dali. We choose the first means of transportation, airplane (490 yuan/person, including fuel fee).

Afternoon: Tengchong Tuofeng Airport is 10 kilometers away from the city, which is very convenient. We took Didi Express (32 yuan) to arrive in more than 20 minutes. The flight took off at 2.30 pm and arrived at Xishuangbanna Gaxi Airport at 3.55 minutes, stepping from spring to midsummer.
Many Home Inns in Xishuangbanna provide free airport pick-up service when booking online, but you need to call the front desk in advance to confirm. We did so, and the driver enthusiastically sent us to the hotel, and told us that we could contact him by phone to provide a chartered car service when traveling in Xishuangbanna. Day 14 (March 1) Xishuangbanna (Morning: Wild Elephant Valley; Afternoon: Jinuo Shanzhai)
Arrive at the hotel at 4:00 pm on the 28th (our hotel is about 1.4 kilometers away from Banna Bus Station), and then go to Banna Bus Station to buy a ticket to Wild Elephant Valley tomorrow.
1. Tourist attractions: Wild Elephant Valley; Jinuo Shanzhai.
2. Traffic:
In the morning, take a minibus at Banna Bus Station to Wild Elephant Valley (minibus ticket 22 yuan/person);
In the afternoon, go to Jinuo Shanzhai from Wild Elephant Valley, and then return from Jinuo Shanzhai to travel directly to Gaozhuang Xishuangjing, the departure station in the city (160 yuan/person, Jinuo Shanzhai tickets are included).
3. Tickets: Wild Elephant Valley 48 yuan/person; Jinuo Shanzhai 128 yuan/person (included in the ticket).
4. Tour arrangements:
Morning: Take a minibus at Banna Bus Terminal at 9:00 and arrive at Wild Elephant Valley for about half an hour (12 kilometers). I accidentally encountered a tourist direct bus outside the gate of the scenic spot. After understanding, I felt that I could take this bus to Jinuo Shanzhai in the afternoon, and I could also visit Gaozhuang Xishuangjing in the evening, so I decided to buy a bus ticket. We solved our two-day free travel attractions in one day (half a day for each attraction).
Wild Elephant Valley Scenic Area: It is divided into south gate and north gate. There are elephant performances at the south gate, a bird garden, a butterfly garden, Dai singing and dancing performances, cafeterias, etc. There is also a trail leading to the top of the mountain to walk through the tropical rainforest. We watched an elephant show and a Dai song and dance show, and the tour ended in 2-3 hours.

Afternoon: We take a direct tourist bus to Jinuo Shanzhai (about 40 minutes). Jinuo Shanzhai is the last of the 56 ethnic groups in my country (identified in 1979). There are more than 20,000 people in the country, and more than 500 people live in Jinuo Shanzhai.

Evening: Tell Zhuangxi Shuangjing (Chinese meaning: Nine Pagodas and Twelve Villages)
The tour goes directly to the starting station and the terminal station of the bus (the tourist service center is here). There is the Golden Buddha Pagoda. On both sides of the road leading to the Golden Buddha Pagoda are the Twelve Villages, which are full of restaurants and snacks. At night, the night market and food stalls on the other side of the pagoda appear. Not far away is the Mekong River.
Day 15 (March 2) Xishuangbanna (morning: Manting Park; afternoon: Dai Customs Garden)
1. Visit the main attractions:
Morning: Manting Park; Xishuangbanna Zongfo Temple.
Afternoon: Dai Customs Park
2. Transportation and tickets: Manting Park ticket is 36 yuan/person; Xishuangbanna Zongfo Temple is free to enter.
Tickets for Dai Customs Park are 36 yuan/person, and battery cars are 40 yuan/person.
Take the bus from Zhuangxi Shuangjing Visitor Center to Dai Nationality Customs Garden, 40 yuan per person. (You can also choose a minibus at the passenger station in the city, the price can be cheaper)
3. Tour arrangements:
Morning: Manting Park and Xishuangbanna Zongfo Temple (actually, the two scenic spots are a whole, just come out of the back door of Manting Park.)
We walked from the hotel to Xishuangbanna Zongfo Temple at 8 o'clock (more than 1 km from the hotel to the park). Zongfo Temple is the highest-level Buddhist temple in Xishuangbanna. In the past, it was a place where rulers and chieftains worshiped Buddha. Now it is a Buddhist worship center. From Zongfo Temple, you can enter Manting Park (city park). In the park, there are Dai Palace, Dai Nationality Song and Dance Gala Performance Theater, Premier Zhou Splashing Water Square, etc.
Afternoon: Go to Gaozhuang Xishuangjing Visitor Center and take a bus to Dai Nationality Garden (departure at 1.30pm, return at 5.30pm). There are five well-preserved Dai villages in the park, a water-splashing square, a large-scale Dai song and dance performance hall, and a farmer's market for Dai villagers.
Xishuangbanna Dai Customs Park is over, continue to take the tourist bus to return to Gaozhuang Xishuangjing. It is already more than 6 o'clock. Didi Express arrives at Jinghong Bus Station and buys a ticket to Kunming at 8.30 tomorrow.
Day 16 (March 3) Xishuangbanna----Kunming
Early in the morning, I ate cross-bridge rice noodles opposite the hotel and rushed to the passenger station. Xishuangbanna----Kunming, more than 500 kilometers, although it is an expressway, the car is also a luxury bus, but it still drove for more than 9 hours, from morning to night, stopping at the service area halfway 5-6 times (once for lunch , 20 yuan/person), and exchange customers with other cars. Yunnan long-distance buses stop at the service area, and villagers charge for going to the bathroom (one yuan per person).
The trip to Yunnan from Shenzhen is coming to an end, and it is worthy of being called the South of Colorful Clouds --- the magnificent scenery, the tranquility of the ancient town, the simple folk customs, etc., all of which have once again left a deep memory.
