Taking the children to start a holiday trip, it is also a bit tangled to choose Beijing, because Beijing in August is still very hot. Thinking about the previous summer trip to Wuhan, Beijing cannot be hotter than the famous stove, so it is scheduled to depart in late August.

Accommodation: Weiming Vision Photography Theme Hotel

Comments:

Behind a bar street in Houhai, Gulou West Street is quiet and bustling. There are many restaurants and snacks around. It is a ten-minute walk from the subway Shichahai. This is a photography-themed hotel. Special clothing is provided for free. Aunt Zhang is very enthusiastic. Introduce and assist in the shooting. The environment is very good, the lighting is very warm, and it feels very warm from the moment you enter the hall. The decorative paintings on the walls and the overall decoration are quite special, giving people a very comfortable feeling. The themed room decoration makes people feel warm. I feel more relaxed and feel at home. It's not like staying in a fast hotel. It's deserted. This hotel gives the same feeling as others, especially Aunt Zhang's warm reception, and the attitude of the service staff is also very good. The address of the scenic spot is small\ The note and the planned route are really thoughtful and comprehensive, the price is very favorable, the location is also very good, it is very close to various attractions, it is easy to find

Day 1 Chengdu-Beijing

Today is a self-challenge, a challenge to practice
Spent close to 10 hours on the train
She is a hardworking young lady
Lunch: self-heating lunch box

Live near Chongwenmen, travel and eating are convenient

Day 2 Forbidden City ~ Jingshan Park ~ Lao She Tea House Palace Museum

History will not be repeated. Enter the Meridian Gate and exit the Shenwu Gate.
Remember to reserve tickets on the official website in advance. National museums cannot be visited on Mondays, so you must plan your time well before you travel. You can learn about the history of the Forbidden City before you travel. You can watch the documentaries "Forbidden City" and "Forbidden City 100" produced by CCTV to see the royal buildings. There is a sense of history. You can also participate in the group tour activities introduced by the reliable Forbidden City. For example, Butian’s activities, my children did not participate in the first visit to the Forbidden City. If you have been here before, you can participate. It is still very good to understand from different angles.
In addition, the Museum of Treasures and the Museum of Watches and Clocks are also worth seeing, and they should be purchased together when buying tickets for the Forbidden City.

Jingshan Park

Experience the grandeur of the Forbidden City and the best observation point of the central axis of old Beijing.
Of course, those who want to see the crooked neck tree can also go and have a look. We didn't go, and the children didn't like it.

Laoshe Teahouse

It is a good place to drink Gaiwancha, watch folk art performances, and experience Beijing culture. Performance tickets can be purchased on Damai.com and issued on-site. It is better to buy seats in the front.

Day 3 Summer Palace~ Peking University

The biggest bug in this line appears
Tickets for Peking University and Tsinghua University were not booked in advance
so……

summer palace

Enter the North Palace Gate of the Summer Palace, climb the Longevity Hill, swim the promenade, and take a boat trip to Kunming Lake. Go out from the East Palace Gate, the East Palace Gate is the main entrance where you can take pictures, and then take the bus to Yuanmingyuan, Peking University, and Tsinghua University. It is recommended not to buy a joint ticket. It is not that the scenic spots are not good, but that many of them cannot be visited, and it is a bit far away.

Beijing University

Under the leadership of student Xiaoheng, we "mixed" into the campus

Weiming lakeside, looking at Boya tower

The freshmen of Peking University started their term, and they met many freshmen in their classes on campus, and they got familiar with the campus under the leadership of their seniors. Sit in rows on the stone square and take pictures.

Peking duck

Roast duck, we are still used to it.

Day 4 Temple of Heaven Park

The Temple of Heaven introduces itself to Baidu, entering from the north gate and exiting from the south gate. It is recommended to buy a joint ticket, each scenic spot is very good, the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, Echo Wall, Zhai Palace...

Temple of Heaven Park is now mainly a place for citizens to exercise. People in the city really know how to play, see the picture below, can you guess what they are playing?

Enjoying the shade under the shade of a tree, chatting with an old man in Beijing. Housing prices in Beijing have risen rapidly. He bought a house in 2003, and the price is more than 400,000. In the end, the concerns are similar across the country.

Nanmen went out to eat Nanmen shabu-shabu, the taste is similar to that of ten years ago. Children are not used to eating sesame sauce dipping dishes.

Day 5 National Museum~Beijing Children’s Art Musical Theater National Museum

The National Museum has a rich collection of treasures, including most of the treasures in the country. If you still can’t understand it, let’s say that most of the cultural relics introduced in history books and art books when I was studying can be found in the National Museum. Its total collection is the second largest in the world. You can take textbooks and compare them one by one. It may take three days to look carefully. So preparation before going is very important.
Among the museums I have been to, only the treasures of the town hall in the Hubei Provincial Museum (which treasures are Baidu) can be compared with it!
There are many comments about it on the Internet, and I feel different from when I went there. First of all, I said that the attitude of the staff is not good, I think it’s okay, and I didn’t encounter a cold face; secondly, it was very cold in the hall, so I brought a jacket, but it was completely useless; finally, I said that the backpack must be stored, except for me. Plastic bags carry dry food and water, while others carry their bags and walk happily

The cultural and creative products are indeed not good, and they cannot arouse the desire to buy. I like the cultural and creative products of the Gansu Provincial Museum, and it is said that the Shanghai Museum is also good.

The first floor is my favorite

The first floor is the "Basic Exhibition of Ancient China" with a total of 10 exhibition halls. With precious cultural relics as the main witness, it systematically displays the long historical process of China from ancient times to the end of Qing Dynasty. There are more than 2,000 exhibits (including 521 first-class collections). , displayed in 8 sections by age. They are:
ancient times
Xia, Shang and Western Zhou Dynasties
Spring and Autumn Period and Warring States Period
Qin and Han Dynasties
Three Kingdoms, Two Jins, Southern and Northern Dynasties
Sui, Tang and Five Dynasties
Liao, Song, Xia, Jin and Yuan Dynasties
Ming and Qing Dynasties
I like this way of setting up the exhibition. You can clearly see the changes in materials, colors, and decorations along the way. The development of science and technology and culture are told through cultural relics.

Name: "Guo Ji Zi Bai" Bronze Plate
Era: The period of King Xuan of the Western Zhou Dynasty

"Guo Ji Zi Bai" bronze plate is one of the famous bronze wares in the Western Zhou Dynasty. The leader of the bronze wares in the Western Zhou Dynasty, it is now the treasure of the National Museum of China and the first batch of exhibits prohibited from going abroad (territory) in China.
There is an inscription engraved on the bronze plate, which records that Guo Jizibai led an army to fight against Xuanyun (sound: Xianyun), beheaded 500 enemies and captured 50 people. white things. The "馘" here refers to the left ear of a person, and a person has only one left ear. The more 馘 you offer, the more enemies you have killed. Some experts believe that they are the ancestors of the Huns, "Guo Ji Zibai" and "Guo" refer to his conferred surname, and "Ji" indicates that he ranks third in the family. , "Zi" is his respectful title, just like Confucius and Laozi we said, "Bai" is his name. This inscription is a beautiful rhyme. The sentences in the text, such as "thinly cutting 玁狁", "zheshou", "zhixun" and "it is the first", can be compared with "Caiwei" and "out of the poem" in "Poetry". The historical facts recorded in "Che", "June", and "Caijian" are mutually quoted, which have extremely high historical value.
The reign of King Xuan of Zhou was already the last year of the Western Zhou Dynasty. At this time, the country of the Western Zhou Dynasty was already in jeopardy. However, there was a period of ZTE during the reign of King Xuan of Zhou. From the inscription on the plate, it can be seen that the army of the Western Zhou Dynasty fought against the evil spirits. , actually won the victory. The war required a lot of manpower and material resources. The Western Zhou Dynasty could win this war with a certain economic strength as the foundation. This can be regarded as the last reflection of the Western Zhou Dynasty.
During the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, near Guochuansi, Baoji, Shaanxi, a farmer accidentally dug out a huge ancient bronze plate from the ground, and immediately used it to hold water and drink horses. Later, Xu Xie, the county magistrate of Meixian County, Shaanxi Province, paid for this plate, and accompanied it to Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. When the Taiping army captured Changzhou, this plate belonged to the protector Chen Kunshu. In 1864, Liu Mingchuan, a general of the Huai Army, captured Changzhou and entered the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom's Palace of Protectors. He found this plate in a stable, and then sent it to his former residence in Hefei, where he built a "pan pavilion" for preservation. Afterwards, the Beiyang warlords and Japanese invaders all wanted to snatch it, and the descendants of the Liu family went through many hardships to protect the plate, and finally dug the ground and hid it deep. In 1950, Liu Su, the fourth grandson of Liu Mingchuan, re-excavated this plate and dedicated it to the country. It is now stored in the National Museum of China.

The following 👇 This piece makes me laugh every time I see it, and it can still bring a strong appeal across thousands of years. This is the boutique that spans time and space.

I saw two pieces in the National Museum, but it is not clear whether it is a replica or the real thing.

The Six Horses of Zhaoling refers to the six bluestone relief carvings of horses on the east and west sides of the altar on the north side of Zhaoling, the tomb of Emperor Taizong Li Shimin in Liquan, Shaanxi. Each stone carving is about 2 meters wide and 1.7 meters high. The "Six Horses of Zhaoling" are lifelike in shape, with smooth and concise carving lines, different postures and expressions, and fine and round knife workmanship. They are precious ancient stone carving art treasures. Such works of art are not only "successful" in shape and exquisite in carving skills, but also imply rich historical stories, showing the achievements of ancient Chinese carving art, and are extremely precious cultural relics.

The six horses are the war horses that Li Shimin rode successively before the establishment of the Tang Dynasty. "Salu Purple". They not only symbolize the six major battles Tang Taizong experienced, but also commend his illustrious military exploits during the establishment of the Tang Dynasty. To commemorate the six war horses, Li Shimin ordered the craftsman Yan Lide and the painter Yan Liben (Yan Lide's younger brother) to depict six war horses in relief and place them in front of the mausoleum.

Among the six steeds, "Sa Lu Zi" and "Fist Hair" were smashed into boxes and smuggled to the United States in 1914, and are now stored in the Museum of the University of Pennsylvania. The remaining four pieces were also broken into boxes and intercepted during smuggling, and are now displayed in the Forest of Steles Museum in Xi'an. Luo Zhenyu recorded in his book "Shijiaolu" that Yuan Kewen, the son of Yuan Shikai, ordered the cultural relic merchants to transport the six steeds of Zhaoling Mausoleum to Huanshang Village. Because the heavy stones were inconvenient, the cultural relic merchants sent the two stones "Saluzi" and "Fist Maolu" to Huanshang Village. Dissect and transport it. Yuan Kewen "annoyed people who dissected stones, but I don't accept it." Later, it was purchased by an American cultural relics dealer based in Beijing and shipped to the United States.

One of my favorite ceramic works, it looks like there is water in the plate, and the color is as warm and moist as jade. It looks so beautiful on the spot, and the mobile phone can't take pictures at all.

Name: Copper Pot Hourglass
Year: Yuan Yanyou three years (AD 1316)
Specifications: Overall height 264.4 cm

This hourglass is a timekeeping tool in ancient China. It was cast by Xian Yunyun and Du Zisheng from Guangzhou in the third year of Yuan Yanyou (AD 1316). The whole hour glass is composed of four copper pots, which are the sun pot, the moon pot, the star pot and the receiving pot. There is also a saying that it is called the day pot, the night pot, the flat pot and the pot. There is a round sun pattern on the wall of the sun pot, a moon-shaped map on the wall of the moon pot, a map of the Big Dipper on the wall of the star pot, and a eight-diagram map on the wall of the kettle. When in use, the four pots are placed in order from top to bottom, the top one is the sun pot, and the bottom one is the receiving pot. There is a water faucet at the bottom of the sun, moon and star pots. There is a copper ruler in the middle of the lid of the kettle, and there is a time scale on it. From bottom to top, it is Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, and Hai. A wooden floating arrow is placed in front of the copper ruler, and the lower end of the wooden arrow is a wooden board called a floating boat. The body of the jug is engraved with text about the year and person who made it.
This is a compound clepsydra with the method of floating arrows. When in use, the water from the sun pot drips into the lower moon pot at a constant flow rate, and the water from the moon pot drips into the star pot. There is a small hole in the upper part of the star pot. If there is too much water, the excess will flow out from here, so that the water volume of the star pot can be kept constant, so that the water can be evenly dripped to the receiving pot. As the water in the kettle gradually increased, the floating boat raised the wooden arrow slowly. Comparing the top of the wooden arrow with the scale on the copper scale, you can know the time at that time. This copper pot dripping glass has been used from the day it was made to around 1900 AD, which lasted nearly 700 years. It is the earliest, largest and most complete copper pot dripping glass in my country.

I also like this piece of porcelain very much. Looking closely at the dark luster of the glaze, it feels very mysterious. The decoration is very exquisite.

The Simu Wuding tripod and a phoenix crown from the Han Dynasty were indeed not found, so I will take a closer look next time.

Beijing Children's Art Performance "Musical Notes Traveling Around"

Beijing has a rich cultural life, and I wanted to watch Beijing Renyi's drama "Uncle Vanya", starring Pu Cunxin, but unfortunately the time is not suitable

Go to Damai.com Beijing branch to get the tickets first, and then rush to watch the show. The ticket collection location is different from the performance location, and it is really inconvenient to communicate with the staff of Damai.com to confirm that you can enter the venue with the online ticket information. Before booking a ticket, it is best to consider whether it is better to mail the ticket to the hotel or to the home in advance.

But there is still a surprise. I came out of Damai.com office and found a shop that specializes in porridge, which tastes great.

Day 6 Beihai Park~ Prince Gong’s Mansion~ Nanluoguxiang Beihai Park

That's right, that's the place where we swing the oars and the boat pushes the waves.

The south gate enters and the north gate exits, making it easy to walk to Prince Gong's Mansion.

Prince Gong's Mansion

Prince Gong's Mansion, of course, is the mansion of Heshen who is handsome, talented, greedy for money and enjoys life! Although there were two princes who lived there afterwards, everyone still recognized Heshen.

There are ninety-nine and a half rooms in a back building, completely imitating the nine hundred and ninety-nine and a half rooms in the Forbidden City!

To be honest, who would want to live in the Forbidden City with Prince Gong's Mansion. The imperial gardens in the Forbidden City are really shabby. The gardens in Prince Kung’s Mansion not only have white marble Western gates (similar to the gates in the Western Buildings of the Yuanmingyuan) to enter the gardens, but also have large theater buildings, and are full of “exquisiteness” everywhere.

Nanluoguxiang

It's a waste of time after shopping here. It is not as sincere as Kuanzhai Alley. However, the children still gained something and bought a toy.

Dinner ~ Mixed Sauce Noodles

The store is a good one, but the miscellaneous sauce noodles are really not used to, the portion is full and the taste is hard to describe. We are spoiled by Sichuan cuisine, and it is a bit miserable to go out.

Day 7

Today's arrangement is to wander around, and then fly home.

say the last words
1. Because the Beijing tour is mainly about the cultural landscape, you must make full preparations before departure, and read more introductions to understand the history.
2. For each scenic spot, you must invite an official guide, or rent an electronic guide, and try to listen as little as possible to the unofficial gossip told by the tour guide.
3. The Beijing subway bus is very convenient, so after arriving in Beijing, buy a "Traffic Card", and all attractions can be reached by public transportation.
4. There are many hotels to choose from in Beijing. It is recommended to choose a place close to public transportation. You must not go through a long alley after getting out of the subway or bus. It is not safe if you are not familiar with the place. Residential characteristics are definitely not as important as residential safety. .
5. Don’t go with a tour group for domestic travel, you will miss too many interesting delicacies and leisurely time. The Great Wall and Xiaoling Mausoleum do not need to participate in the so-called one-day tour, they can be reached by public transportation, but the summer tour of the Great Wall is a test of the ability to withstand the sun, so I will take the children next time.
7. Tickets for all scenic spots can be purchased online, which will save you a lot of time. All parks in Beijing can follow the "Changyou Park" official account on WeChat, as shown in the picture below, and it is very convenient to buy tickets. The Forbidden City can directly search the official website to buy tickets, and the National Museum can follow the official account on WeChat to reserve tickets.
