The first time I came to Yunnan was in April 2013. At that time, I was a young and carefree young man. I stayed in the ancient city of Dali for more than a month, which gave me a new understanding of Yunnan. initial reverie.
The second time I came to Yunnan was in December 2019. It seemed that I was a young man who had seen all kinds of things in the world and the warmth and warmth of people. I hiked in the deep mountains of Shangri-La Yubeng Village for a few days, which gave me a deeper understanding of Yunnan. know.
When I came to Yunnan for the third time, it was in August 2020. I was already a 30-year-old little uncle who was a little calm. After wandering around the ancient cities of Dali, Lijiang, and Xishuangbanna for nearly 2 weeks, I was inexplicably more interested in Yunnan. obsession.
(Shangri-La Yubeng's hiking travel notes are here: https://you.ctrip.com/travels/xianggelila106/3921865.html?isAuthor=true)

Fortunately, on the day I went to Xizhou, it was sunny and I wanted to run in this rice field.

The night market in Xishuangbanna is really a must-see every day, I like it so much.

If you come to Yunnan in the rainy season, you can only be a Buddhist for the blue sky and white clouds, so choose the travel time as appropriate. During the two weeks I have been here, I have rarely seen a large blue sky.
Especially in the few days in Lijiang, it was not easy to go out even when it rained, so I had to walk around in the ancient town; I was shopping at the night market in Xishuangbanna, but it was suddenly raining heavily, and I hurried back.

[Dali Ancient City] I just let it go for a few days

This time, when I first arrived in the ancient city of Dali, when I passed the Erhai Gate, I began to sigh with emotion. It really became too much and soon I didn’t know each other.
At that time in 2013, there was basically nothing around Erhaimen, it was very empty, and now it is a bustling market, and the surrounding shops are also very lively. Back then, I liked the comfort of taking a walk after dinner. Not coming back.

If you want to talk about what the market at Erhaimen sells, there is nothing else except some ethnic costumes, special snacks, and handmade souvenirs. But I have a friend who often visits the small flower shop.
In Dali, if fake flowers are placed at home or in the store, it is disrespectful to Dali. There is such a beautiful natural ecology here, and beautiful flowers are everywhere. As long as you dress up carefully, you don't need those lifeless fake flowers.

Walking along Renmin Road from Erhai Gate to Cangshan Mountain is my favorite way to visit the ancient city. Renmin Road is the busiest and busiest main street in the ancient city, lined with various specialty shops.
I haven't seen it for a few years. The lower section, which was originally a bit deserted, is now noisy, with many tourists. The shops on both sides are mainly inns, restaurants, and souvenir shops.

The upper section is still as bustling as ever, and every time I pass by it in a hurry, it is the place where tourists gather most, especially there is a foreigner's street next to it, which was a lively bar street back then.
In fact, there are really many bars on both sides of Renmin Road, especially in the evening, when the resident singers start to sing, which makes the original hustle and bustle of the ancient city more literary and vicissitudes.

I remember that in Dali that year, apart from these tie-dyed products, you can see plain cotton and linen clothes everywhere in the ancient city. When I came back this year, I found that I couldn't find any clothes, and more of them turned into tie-dye clothes ranging from 69 to 399.
That's the one who never tires of wearing such simple clothes, and with a touch of earth, he will carry a bamboo basket and ride a bicycle to wander around the ancient city or its surrounding areas.

In fact, the ancient city of Dali is not big, it is not small. After walking a lot, I found that there are only so many places to go, but it takes a long time to walk from Erhai Gate to the North Gate. The depths of the courtyards where the streets and alleys extend may give you many surprises. So in fact, if you want to experience the quieter ancient city, you only need to walk a little away from the main street and walk in the alleys along the street. Here you will come across a favorite cafe, food, and inn.

If you want to talk about living in the ancient city, what is the purpose in your heart, that is to have a place to quietly watch the clouds and clouds in Cangshan Mountain. Every day and every moment, the clouds on Cangshan Mountain are unpredictable, and you can never get tired of seeing them.
Although it is the rainy season, the clouds on this mountain have never stretched out, and it is relatively rare to see the scene where the sun shines through the clouds, but it does not affect my liking for this state.
When the state of mind arrives, it is satisfied.

In fact, there is another place worth visiting in the ancient city, but it is out of the ancient city. That is March Street.
Sanyue Street in Dali is a national traditional event with a history of thousands of years, and it is also an ancient and prosperous trade fair in western Yunnan. Back then, I especially liked to come here to shop for things. Clothes, snacks, and souvenirs would come here to shop. Especially during festivals, it is more lively, but now it seems to be gradually occupied by other gourmet restaurants.
The few days I was there actually happened to be the Torch Festival, but because of the epidemic, the activities here were cancelled. But there are still many stalls selling torches under the archway.

If the ancient city is further away, Dali University is worth a visit. When I was there, it was still closed during the epidemic, and it should be back to school now, and tourists have been allowed to enter.
But outside the campus, there is a rather surprising place, which I found on the Internet before. Because Dali University is at the foot of Cangshan Mountain, the terrain is very high, and there is a straight road leading to Erhai Lake outside the campus. There is no shelter, and you can see the Erhai Lake in the distance from a high place. This road is usually less open to traffic, so I took a photo in the middle of the road a little bit unscrupulously.

[Ancient City Life] Leisurely Love - Food and Coffee

During the few days I stayed in the ancient city, I basically slept until I woke up naturally and had an early lunch. Afterwards, go back to rest or sit in a cafe, and then look there at night to have dinner and a drink. It's really casual.

Then when choosing accommodation, I said, I must find an inn with a rooftop where you can see the scenery of Cangshan Mountain.
So I booked this building block inn. Although I was still deceived by the photos of the inn, the location of the photos of the tables and chairs on this rooftop is actually not accessible to people, but it also has its own rooftop.

In addition to the rooftop, this inn has its own cafe, with a 20% discount for in-house guests, so I can sit quietly with a cup of coffee without going far.
Because the location of the inn is far away from the main street, it is very quiet every day, and there is an Akita dog, a fold-eared blue cat, and a rural white cat as companions, which is how I enjoy it every day.

After sleeping in the ancient city and waking up naturally, I wanted to find a place to have brunch and a cup of coffee. I mainly went to two places to check in. In fact, it is not easy to sleep and wake up naturally, haha, sometimes I really can sleep late.

Chai Miduo is a rare restaurant in the ancient city with a single courtyard. It is a very good place for dating, breakfast and afternoon tea.

In fact, Chai Miduo also has living farms, living markets, restaurants and homestays, etc., advocating a lifestyle with farms as the theme element. Therefore, the ingredients of the restaurant are directly supplied by the farm. restaurant environment
The atmosphere is comfortable, with its own courtyard, and the walls are covered with bougainvillea, which is very comfortable under the sun. If you feel dry, there are many seats indoors and on the second floor. Most of the people who patronize the restaurant are families with children and young couples. Try to arrive early, otherwise you still have to wait for a seat.
?Lots of seats.
Most of the people who patronize the restaurant are families with children and young couples. Try to arrive early, otherwise you still have to wait for a seat.

There are also many styles of meals to choose from, and the main dishes are healthy dishes. I ordered a farmer's breakfast.
Other recommendations: farm salad, creamy mushroom soup, fried steak with rosemary, vegetable salad, all kinds of western food, etc.

Flying to the Moon is also a highly rated Western-style restaurant in the ancient city.
Although the space is small, the dishes are large, and it is a good place for brunch in the ancient city of Dali.

A small building with seating upstairs and downstairs.
However, it was raining on the day I went, so the outdoor seats on the second floor were not open.
There are also outdoor seats on the first floor, which is a bit cozy like a cafe. However, the indoor seats are a bit crowded, because the bar and kitchen are also crowded, and the aisles are crowded.

Recommend the French stewed eggs!
It's a pity that there were a lot of customers on the day I arrived, it was sold out, and the waiting time was relatively long
So I ordered a hamburger and my friend ordered an American breakfast. The portion is really big, especially my hamburger, I don't know how to eat it, and I almost didn't finish it after eating it for a long time.

Per capita consumption: 60 yuan
Restaurant location: No. 74, Guangwu Road, Gucheng, Dali, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province
In the alleys of the main street of the ancient city, it is not difficult to find a relatively quiet location, suitable for quiet enjoyment.
correct! This restaurant is closed every Wednesday is a day off!

In fact, life in the ancient city is basically going out in the morning and evening. The light in the afternoon is relatively strong, so I don’t want to go out. Although in the afternoon, there will be fewer people on the street, so if I really want to go out for a walk, I basically just sit in a cafe and swipe my phone to see the pedestrians coming and going.

Just opposite Chaimiduo, there is a small cafe called Elephant Cafe with a relatively high rating.
Every time I go shopping in the ancient city, I pass by this place. Then I chose a slightly sunny day to visit, and it happened that the seat at the door was empty, so I sat down and watched the tourists coming and going while drinking coffee.
Instead, I found that the foreigner sitting next to me seemed to have seen this place when passing by a few days ago, as if he would visit this place every day.

Next to the Elephant Cafe, you should come across such a mobile locomotive coffee station during the day, which is very impressive.

However, what is more unpleasant is that the ancient city chose this month to carry out maintenance and repairs on some old houses, so the building of the Elephant Cafe is surrounded by steel bars and hung with green safety nets, which slightly affects the visual experience.

Another Internet celebrity cafe, which makes people feel its advantages better, is Dawandao Cafe.
Dawandao Cafe was originally famous for its view of Cangshan Mountain. However, after such a renovation, the window view of Cangshan Mountain, which should have been refreshing and clean, was blocked by steel bars.

But apart from the scenery, this cafe focuses on retro literary style, and the overall tone is very comfortable, even the image of the little brother at the bar is well-matched with the cafe. There are also clothes for sale next to the bar, but most of them are women's clothes.
It was originally considered to be a popular cafe in the ancient city of Dali, but I didn’t expect that there were no customers in the afternoon, probably because of the renovation.

This cafe is located on the 4th floor of a residential building at an intersection of Renmin Road. If you are passing by, you will not be able to find it unless you search the address on the Internet.

If you really want to find a cafe with a view of Cangshan Mountain, it should be Tang Jia.

Tang·Ca is a coffee-themed inn. It is located in the depths of the alley beside Renmin Road, and the location is quite convenient.
The entrance on the first floor is directly facing the bar, and various award certificates are hung on the wall, which shows that the coffee is very professional. Friends who have insights into coffee should find their favorite one here.

The seats on the second floor are actually very fresh and comfortable, filled with various green plants and flowers, and there are windowsill seats facing the scenery of Cangshan Mountain, which is also a relatively sought-after seating area.

But the most attractive thing is the open-air terrace on the roof! The view is open and you can have a panoramic view of the ancient city of Dali and Cangshan Mountain. The whole arrangement is like a small garden, cute and delicate.
It's a pity that it was raining on the day I went, so it was not suitable for sitting outside, so I could only take pictures as souvenirs.

By the way, downstairs of Dawandao Coffee, at the intersection of Renmin Road, there is an inconspicuous but very interesting stall. It is said that it is an authentic snack that ranks high in the ancient city - rare beans. pink.
The booth is very simple, just a car, a pot, a pot, a small table, a few small stools, and the mother-in-law herself.
The mother-in-law sells this pot every day, and closes the stall when it is sold out. Generally, when the weather is good and the business is good, the stall may be closed after 10 o'clock. The day I went was a rainy day, and tourists probably didn’t go out very much. I passed by after 11 o’clock and found that my mother-in-law was still there, so I couldn’t help but want to buy a copy.

Thin bean flour is a summer summer snack in Yunnan. It is made from white peas that are ground into powder and then cooked into porridge. The taste is very refreshing, sweet but not greasy, warm and hot, covered with fried dough sticks, the best way to eat is to soak the fried dough sticks in soybean flour, it is really sticky!

I was chatting with my mother-in-law while eating, I don’t know what time it will be sold out today, and told me that it’s raining today, I don’t know if it will be sold out today.
The mother-in-law said that she has been setting up a stall here for 30 years, and that she has been here before I was born, and she laughed heartily after she finished speaking.

If you want to eat some local cuisine with Yunnan characteristics in the ancient city, I have checked in a few of them and think they are not bad, let me tell you about them.
However, the recommended dishes eaten here are basically the same, such as braised chicken, watery poplar, fried eggs, local chicken, yams, etc.

This is the Golden Rooster Restaurant, which is located in a branch alley of Renmin Road. It is easy to find and rank well. The atmosphere of the restaurant is relatively comfortable, and there are more landscape locations, but generally speaking, there are not many locations, so you have to wait for a small meal. Then the second floor seems to be a bar, and it will be noisy at night.

There is another one that I think tastes more authentic, called Ah Wang Private Kitchen.
Especially its pork belly is really delicious and chewy, and I want to eat it again after eating one portion. Basically, there are big tables, which are suitable for a family to eat, but the location of this restaurant is not easy to find, maybe because of this, there are not many customers.

After staying in the ancient city for a long time, I will actually get a little tired of eating, so I really didn’t know what to eat later, so I chose a Lijiang-style Apo La ribs. There are several branches in the ancient city. The storefronts are quite spacious and there are many tourists.
It can be regarded as a must-see for local specialties. You can order a ribs pot, or ribs, chicken, and pig's feet.

Then I don’t quite understand this stone plate burning. I don’t know when the Bai nationality cuisine emerged, and it can be seen everywhere in Dali!
I have never seen such a restaurant in 2013. In fact, it is a barbecue, but I don’t know what kind of slate the grill is made of. At night, these restaurants are full of diners, not to mention how lively they are! Out of curiosity, I also went to check in, but I really can't eat too much by myself.

Thinking of an old fisherman's house, there are several branches in the ancient city, and it takes a long time to wait for a seat every night. If there is no room to sit indoors, booths are set up outdoors. If you want to say whether it is really delicious... I don't have much feeling. After all, how much difference can barbecue or barbecue make? Maybe I went for a "characteristic" and "atmosphere"

After tea and dinner, as night fell, the ancient city began to gather people, and Renmin Road gradually became crowded. Those literary bars also began to attract business, and the resident singers also sang exciting songs.
Of course, there are also bars in the ancient city, such as Qing Bar and Nao Bar. The resident bar of Nao Bar is basically a band, singing some rock and some pop. Personally, I still prefer to have a clear bar, and then there must be outdoor seats.

Sitting outside, sipping wine, I don’t know if the tourists are looking at me or I am looking at the tourists. Anyway, it’s just a pleasure for passing by. Listening to the girls in the tavern playing and singing some literary songs or the current Internet Divine Comedy, just entered the play and played again.

But... the wine in the bar in this ancient city is really not cheap... it is comparable to the price of the bar in the first-tier cities! This makes me a little unbelievable. Some bars may have discounts, and you need to pay for ordering, so some will yell loudly in order to attract customers that there is no discount, and you can order songs for free~

It's full of wine and food, and listening to the band's singing is actually quite nourishing.
But if you ask me whether it is wine or music, maybe there is more wine.
But there seems to be a lot of people living and resident in the ancient city of Dali in the bar. Their enthusiasm is more dedicated to the singers. The enthusiastic interaction and cheerful accompaniment make me feel like I am really a tourist.

【Erhai Lake】It's so calming

The itinerary around the Erhai Lake this time is actually quite messy, and it can be said to be arbitrary. Generally, the normal itinerary starts from the ancient city of Dali in a clockwise direction, and drives along the Huanhai Highway for 1-2 days. If it takes longer, you can go to other villages you like. Stay overnight.

If you are renting a car, one day around the sea is enough. Because I am alone, although I really want to rent a cool convertible pink car to make myself happy, but I can’t see it when I drive by myself, so let’s forget it.
In fact, riding a small battery car will be more free, because there are many ancient villages on Huanhai West Road, and cars cannot drive in, while Huanhai East Road is very smooth to drive, but parking is not very convenient. But there is a limit to riding an electric bike, which is that you can't go far.
My itinerary is suitable for lone knights with free time and aimlessness. Although I haven't completely completed the loop, I feel very satisfied!

The lines are as follows:
? Dali Airport - Quase Town - Shuanglang - Haidong Town - Dali Ancient Town - Caicun Wharf - Xizhou - Dali Ancient Town
Then below, list the scattered photo spots encountered in the self-driving route, and explain separately for other ancient towns. There are a lot of guides around the sea on the Internet, and there are also more intuitive scenic spots.

The section around Haixi Road, this trip made me really dislike it. Too many road sections are being repaired, so most of them are impassable, and I don't know how long it will take to complete. Although it is possible to shuttle in various ancient villages in this way, it is too time-consuming and inconvenient. It is better to pack a small three-wheeler and check in directly to the seaside attractions near the ancient city like many people do.

It is estimated that the purpose of this road repair is to make it easier to drive by car in the future. I think there are artificial plank roads beside the road.
However, Huanhai West Road is surrounded by many ancient villages. There will be life in the villages, and there will be farmland and so on.

I originally hoped to ride along the highway from the ancient city to Xizhou. I did encounter a lot of beautiful scenery on the road. It didn't even remind me of the scene when I was riding, and I was still riding a bicycle!

There are some places worth checking in on Huanhaixi Road. Because of the road construction, many of them have not been seen. For example, Shuangyuanxi, Majiuyi Village, Langqiao and so on. It is just looking for various passing road sections and encountering a few eye-catching scenery.
It is estimated that most of the tourists went directly to Xizhou, so I didn’t meet a few tourists all the way down.

Anyway, I don’t remember how long I have been obsessed with it. There is indeed a section of Huanhai West Road that is under repair but it can also be opened to traffic, so I can still get close to the Erhai Lake landscape. What I often encounter is that the branches of the trees on the seaside are posing for themselves.

I didn't expect to meet a beautiful couple taking wedding photos.

So compared to Huanhaixi Road, I prefer Huanhaidong Road this time.
If you are not starting from the ancient city, it is recommended to start from Shuanglang, or start from Quse Town like me, and ride a small car back and forth to the west of Erhai Lake. You will not be disappointed.
Every time I see this large piece of Cangshan scenery accompanied by dense clouds, a piece of fresh and refreshing blue, and let the breeze mess with my hair, I will have an impulse in my heart and say: I want to live in seclusion here! I like this comfort so much!

In fact, there are some ancient villages near Huanhai East Road, facing the Erhai Lake, some are signboards of big stones, and some are archways with Bai nationality characteristics, which are not difficult to find.

I didn't expect to meet such a large area of lotus on the Erhai Lake, no wonder it is called the lotus song.
Of course, I couldn’t help but stop here for a while. Although it is not the season of lotus blooming, we can still see a lot of flowers. Because there is an ancient village next to it, the villagers will sit by the sea, sit under a tree, smoke a cigarette and chat when they have nothing to do in the afternoon.

It happened to be thirsty, so I was buying a bottle of water at the canteen, and there were a few Bai mothers-in-law chatting and chatting about homework, and I went over to listen to it, but I didn't understand.
Seeing that my mother-in-law suddenly changed the subject, she pointed to the grapes on the refrigerator and wanted me to recommend them, saying that they were grown by myself without pesticides, sweet and delicious. Seeing that I didn't intend to buy it, I enthusiastically asked me to eat it, saying it was delicious!

I don't remember where it was, but I saw this small house with graffiti on the wall, which is on the Erhai Lake. There is still a road next to the Erhai Lake, so I stopped to have a look.
The convenience of riding a scooter is that you can stop at any time, and you are not afraid of someone voting for you for a long time. The folk customs here are simple and honest, and there is no shortage of your car, which makes people feel at ease. However, there is no place to park the car nearby, so I can only glance at it in a hurry.

Unlike Huanhai East Road, many sections of Huanhai West Road are on the edge of cliffs, and there are many curves, so you must pay attention to safety when driving.
There are a few sections of cycling up and down, and I feel so happy that I want to fly! Mountain views, sea views, and aerial views, when these appear in a picture, let me really have a new understanding of Erhai Lake, a different look and feel, and a little more love.

There are really many scenic spots on the Erhai Lake that don’t have names, but you have to be careful to discover the seaside scenery that may surprise you. This is why I like to ride a small motorcycle around the Erhai Lake. The speed is not fast, and I can play freely and casually.

[Digging Town] It is also very good as a starting point

This time when I went to the ancient city of Dali, I went directly to a sea view inn in the town of digging, planning to start by riding in the Erhai Lake.
Picking Dig Color Town as a starting point, I do think it's pretty good. In fact, the surrounding area has gradually developed, but it will not be noisy and noisy like the already popular places like Shuanglang, Gucheng, and Caicun Wharf, and it is more comprehensive for eating, drinking and having fun. Besides, for renting a car, Dali can already deliver the car to the store, not to mention how convenient it is!

In the surrounding area of Quase Town, riding a bicycle on Huanhaidong Road for a day will be very fulfilling. You can go to the ancient town of Shuanglang in the north, and Luoquan Peninsula in the south. Not only is the large Erhai Lake scenery very good, but you can also see many scenic spots worth taking pictures.

【Little Putuo】
When I first saw this name, I really didn't think it was like a scenic spot in Dali.
Little Putuo Island is a relatively well-known scenic spot on the west side of Erhai Lake. The shape of the island is like a golden seal floating on the water, and its shape is somewhat similar to Putuo in the South China Sea, so it got its name.
There is an attic on the island, which looks very cute from a distance, small and exquisite, surrounded by cigarettes, accompanied by mountains, rivers and clouds, it really looks like a fairyland.

Little Putuo has boats to go to the island, but I think it is enough to see it from a distance, and there is no need to go to the island to see it.
As for Little Putuo Island, besides the island itself, I really like the area where it is located, and there is a village next to it. It is located at the foot of the mountain, and the promenade built along the coast is very pleasant to walk on. Leave the mountain view and the village scene as the background, and in front of you is Little Putuo Island, like the longing distance between the folks and the gods.

Riding from Quase Town to Shuanglang, passing through an old forest area in the forest, there is no specific name of the scenic spot, but there are many tourists here, there are also couples taking wedding photos, and some local residents are resting. It is also a place worth stopping for a while.

What I like more is the grass next to it, full of abandoned ships. The iron boats covered with copper rust were abandoned here for unknown reasons, but they are all well preserved, and it is estimated that they will be reused in the future.

There is a famous scenic spot not far away. If it is really famous, it is actually because later, some travel photography masters took pictures of this place so beautifully, and gradually became popular on the Internet. So not only tourists, but even local travel photographers like to bring guests here to take pictures.

However, the places suitable for taking pictures are all on the Erhai Lake at the foot of the mountain, and the road is on the mountain, so we can only park on the side of the road and go down the mountain road that others have walked. Be careful, it is very wild!
If you are afraid that you will not find it, really, you will know it when you see a large number of vehicles parked here to take pictures. Because there is no parking lot here, everyone parks on the side of the road, so it is not easy to park, especially when there are many people.

If there is anything worth shooting here, it is actually at the foot of the extended cliff, there are some small caves, people stand at the entrance of the cave, and the camera is in the cave to shoot. But if you ask me, it’s really too difficult. It’s not like a small cave, it can only accommodate one person in it, and if you want to take a good-looking shot, you must have a super wide-angle to produce a film!

In addition, they are all travel photographers of various parties, it is really too difficult, I decisively gave up!
When you look at all the people, you know that they are all waiting to take pictures here.

There is another place here. The original abandoned house has not been completely demolished, leaving a piece of ruins. The other ruins are nothing, but this wall with hollowed-out windows forms a natural picture frame. The scenery is all It is natural, people only need to be beautiful in the frame. It is also the photographer who admired the discovery here!

So this place is also full of people, and everyone is leaving a few big pictures here. Only one person can be on each time, and some travel photos are very slow because they are for business. Sorry, I gave up again when I saw so many people waiting there!

To the south of Dise Town, at the southeast corner of Erhai Lake, there is a scenic spot called Luoquan Peninsula. The peninsula is surrounded by water on three sides, with beautiful scenery, just across the sea from the ancient city of Dali, and it is also an excellent location to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake.
It just so happens that there is also a pier here, and there are boats to and from Caicun pier. So if you go to the ancient city of Dali, it is another way, and more tourists come from Caicun Wharf and check in at Luoquan Peninsula.

It's a pity that traveling in the rainy season is really a sight to see. I was lucky that it didn't rain. When I arrived here, it suddenly rained for a while, and the wind became stronger at the pier. I found a place to hide from the rain and rest temporarily.

I didn't enter the scenic spot, just under the cliff next to it. It seems that it is also to attract tourists to check in and take pictures. I have made an artificial scenic spot, and I have to buy a ticket of 20 yuan here! But Lovers Cliff and these real abandoned ships are pretty nice.

After that, it was amazing. Originally, Luoquan Peninsula had its own ticket office, and the ticket was 45. I thought it was a bit expensive, so I didn't plan to go in.
However, I bought the ticket for the pier. I was just looking for it after I took the photo. I didn’t know why I walked into the scenic spot of Luoquan Peninsula. It seemed that I passed a ticket gate at the pier, but there was no one...
So I spent 20 yuan to play the 45 yuan scenic spot. When walking from the pier to the mountain, I would pass the ticket gate at the main entrance (passed the ticket gate). I was a little guilty at the time, would I have to look at the ticket if I am not familiar with it...

There are a large number of tower buildings located here, one is Luoquan Tower and the other is Tianjing Pavilion.
The current Luoquan Pagoda was rebuilt in 2010. It retains the two important features of the original pagoda, "square dense eaves" and "no roof". The circular base means "outer circle and inner square". There is an elevator in the tower And two rows of stairs, which can lead directly to the top of the tower.
The current Tianjing Pavilion was rebuilt in 1996. It has five floors in total. The pavilion is high and the corridor is wide, and the field of vision is wider when you climb up.

【Xizhou】Want to run in this green field

In this ancient town around Erhai Lake, besides the ancient city of Dali, my favorite is Xizhou!
In fact, the ancient town of Xizhou itself is somewhat similar to the ancient city of Shuanglang and Dali. Most of them are characteristic small commodity shops, gourmet snacks and so on.

The ancient town of Xizhou can only be visited on foot. If there is a parking lot around the car, there is a direct car in the ancient city or you can charter a car.
There are many antique Bai buildings in Xizhou, and there is an ancient house with yellow walls next to the rice fields, which reflects the rice fields and blue sky, which is very beautiful! And there is a wall that deliberately left the black and white photos of the ancient city taken that year, which is more textured.

If you want to say that the ancient town of Xizhou is the most worthwhile to shoot, then everyone will definitely say it is the rice field!
This large paddy field in Xizhou is really good to shoot! Spring and summer are full of green vitality, and autumn is the golden rice waves, they are all beautiful! There are many tourists during the peak season, but fortunately there are many trails in the rice fields to avoid other tourists.

There is also a famous corner building in the ancient city. It was originally the old house of Yang Ruxuan, a villager in Chengbei Village, Xizhou. It is the most unique historical building in the structure and shape of the residential buildings in the ancient town of Xizhou. Therefore, there are a lot of people punching in and taking pictures, and the road in front of the gate is open to traffic, which makes it even more chaotic. It is recommended to go at the wrong peak.

When you go to Xizhou, of course, you still have to taste the special snacks here!
Xizhou Posu Baba is a famous snack in Xizhou. It has a good color and fragrance, and the weight of one is still very thick. You can also try cold chicken rice noodles, pea flour and so on.

【Zhou Cheng】Make yourself a tie-dye scarf

More than 20 kilometers away from the ancient city of Dali, and 20 minutes away from Xizhou by bicycle, there is a town of tie-dye called Zhoucheng.
There is a tie-dye museum here, where you can learn about the actual production process of a piece of tie-dyed cloth, and you can also buy your favorite tie-dye, including tablecloths, scarves, clothes, handkerchiefs, etc. And I made myself a tie-dye scarf.

The price of the tie-dye products here is actually quite expensive, so you should consider it before deciding whether to buy it. To experience the production of a tie-dye scarf, you need to pay 120 yuan, and you can also choose T-shirts, tablecloths, etc.

After paying the fee, the mother-in-law will take you to choose the pattern you like. After you choose the pattern, you need to print a light pattern watermark on the cloth.
Then follow the mother-in-law to thread the thread, and the mother-in-law will teach you how to do it. Of course, as a novice, the speed is definitely not as fast as the mother-in-law. In order to finish it faster, the mother-in-law will also help you finish the other side.

After threading the needle and thread, you need to twist the patterned place into a knot. I mainly chose the pattern of auspicious flowers, and the scarf is really big, so my mother-in-law will take the initiative to tie a few small flowers in the blank space for decoration.
After all, my mother-in-law is an old lady of the Bai ethnic group, and her Mandarin is not very good. She taught me while chatting, and praised my clothes for looking good. Busy with needlework, I can still hear my mother-in-law singing songs.

After the ligation is finished, it is dyed, and you can choose the shade of color you like.
I chose an ordinary azure blue, and I was surprised when I took it out of the dye vat. Is this the color I chose? Why so green! After soaking for many times and then shaking it dry, I was shocked when I took it out after shaking it dry, how suddenly it turned into such a beautiful blue color again!

After taking it out, start to remove the stitches, don't worry about the color will be stained on your hands, it is easy to clean. The old ladies have been doing tie-dyeing for decades, which is why they left a touch of blue on their hands.
It is still very easy to remove the stitches. I am full of anticipation to remove them. When it is finally removed and unfolded, every pattern is amazing. I really like it! ! !

[Shuanglang] To be honest, I didn't fall in love

Shuanglang can be said to be a place to come to Dali, and it must be recommended to check in, because various sea view hotels on the Internet continue to tempt friends to take pictures and check in. I remember when I first came here in 2013, Shuanglang was still an unknown ancient town that was just starting to be repaired. After several years of changes, Shuanglang became famous and many tourists came here, but it made me a little disappointed...

I rode a small locomotive from Quse Town to see the scenery of Erhai Lake all the way, and I felt really comfortable. However, when I was about to arrive at the Shuanglang Ancient Town Scenic Area, the long-distance traffic jam made people feel irritable. Because it is more and more convenient to rent a car in Dali, and it is getting better and better to take pictures, so more and more people drive around Erhai Lake by themselves. The entrance of Shuanglang Ancient Town Scenic Area is almost close to the Huanhai Highway, and the road is not spacious, and the parking lot is small and small, so as long as there are too many people, there will be traffic jams here.

Shuanglang Ancient Town Scenic Area, there are really too many tourists! Because the terrain of the scenic area is narrow and long, there is only one main road branching to various small scenic spots, so you can see crowded scenes in many areas, which makes me dare not imagine, so I have no intention of taking pictures , I walked to the more spacious Minzu Street to be more comfortable.

There are all kinds of modern buildings and shops along the road. When I suddenly saw a local old lady, I felt so out of place...

There is a Nanzhao-style island here, and you can take a cruise ship to the island from the ancient town. The coastal street here is also a commercial area. There are many tourists and it is a bit noisy, which makes me want to stay away in a hurry...

The most delicious food in Shuanglang Ancient Town may be wild mushroom hot pot. Friends who come to Yunnan have to try it once. They have heard the legend about "poisonous" mushrooms more than once or twice. Many people hope to see the little people after eating. What, haha, but I left this opportunity in Lijiang.
Other popular ones are grilled bait fans, fried yams, Yunnan small coffee, local fruits, etc. There are many specialty shops selling silver jewelry, handicrafts, tea, etc. How should I put it... I didn't like it.

Of course, the more life-oriented must be the center of the ancient town of Shuanglang. After seeing the scenic spot, I was discouraged, so I rode a motorcycle back to Duse Town...

[Seaview Inn] How to choose accommodation in Erhai Lake

If you fall in love with Erhai Lake, you must start with an inn. A seaview inn where you can stare at Erhai Lake in a daze and is suitable for taking pictures will definitely enhance your sense of happiness during your trip to Erhai Lake.

?How to choose an inn depends on whether there are these:
1. Sea view rooms, observation decks, etc. Any place where you can quietly watch the sea view
Since I live on the Erhai Lake and don't have the sea view of the Erhai Lake, it must be much inferior. If it’s peak season, it’s really hard to find a room in the Internet-famous Guanjing Inn, especially those rooms that open the curtains and face the sea view, which is really lovely!

2. Internet celebrity photo elements, free travel photography
Many of the inns on the Erhai Lake have their own "rooftops", and they will build some Internet celebrity photo spots, and all the Internet celebrity photo elements in the Erhai Lake must include the sky, glass balls, infinity pools, etc., all kinds of blockbusters.
So at this time, we will compete for services other than online celebrity check-in spots. The hotels I live in all have their own travel photographers who can help you take photos, but you need to make an appointment in advance, and the fastest is on the same day. Give the original film. If you need to shoot more, you can also apply for other locations in the inn, or you can help with it, just give money.

3. Special food
Local specialties in Yunnan, because it is difficult to find a delicious restaurant around the location of some inns, so sea view rooms plus sea view restaurants, as well as local delicacies, are indeed more attractive!
Special local dishes in Yunnan, such as fried eggs, flamboyant flowers, and local chicken hot pot, usually offer discounts in online group purchases.

4. Car rental service
After all, the best way to visit Erhai Lake is to rent a car to go around the sea. Basically, you can rent electric bicycles and cute convertible cars, as long as you like. The price is basically the same in each store, and you can also book online in advance.

[Lijiang Old Town] The rainy tone is very comfortable

During the few days in Dali, fortunately, it rained all day for one or two days. Most of the time, it rained in the morning and cleared in the afternoon. Of course, this is the rainy season in Yunnan. Originally, I hoped that the few days in Lijiang would be like this. I didn’t want to say that it didn’t rain on the first day I just arrived. After that, there were continuous rainy days, and even the temperature dropped a lot. I felt cold even wearing a coat.
So I originally planned to sign up for a day trip to the surrounding area, so don’t be cold, so this time in Lijiang, I just wandered around Dayan Ancient Town for a few days.

Like the ancient city of Dali, I said that I must live in an inn that can see the panoramic view of Lijiang! There are actually quite a few of these in the ancient city.
However, what I want to tell you is that in the ancient town of Lijiang, when booking accommodation, you must choose an inn close to the entrance. Otherwise, if you are dragging your suitcase, you may not be in the mood to go shopping when you arrive. There are too many uphill and downhill roads in the ancient city of Lijiang, and they are basically slate brick roads, which are very difficult to walk. When I go shopping, I often meet tourists who complain while walking...

The streets in the ancient city of Lijiang are built along mountains and rivers, and there are various scenic spots, such as Sifang Street, Mufu, Wufeng Tower, Black Dragon Pool, Wenchang Palace and so on. The ancient city also has colorful local ethnic customs and entertainment activities, such as Naxi ancient music, Dongba rituals, divination culture, bars in the ancient town, and the Naxi Torch Festival.

It is often seen in the ancient city of Lijiang that the font display of Dongba culture is interesting and distinctive. I really think that the Torch Festival has just passed, and I see that every household has a fiery red door couplet, and the words on it are such Dongba characters.

If you compare the layout of the ancient city of Dali and the ancient city of Lijiang, it is a bit like Beijing and Shanghai.

The architecture of the ancient city of Lijiang also reflects the achievements of ancient Chinese urban construction. It is different from the buildings in various parts of Yunnan, and it is also one of the types with distinctive characteristics and styles in Chinese folk houses.
Sifang Street is the busiest street in the ancient city, where there are various shops, bars, snacks and so on.

There are indeed many unique souvenir shops in the ancient city, but some coffee, tambourine, yak meat, etc., can also be found in other places.
I came across this mobile phone case shop by chance. I like this slightly coquettish folk-style mobile phone case. It is also because my mobile phone case was broken when I was in Dali, so I wanted to change it to a more local one.
Each has a different color, I think this is also a kind of auspicious flower, 39 yuan is not expensive.

This Dongba Zhifang has several branches in Lijiang. I was still attracted by this chandelier. They are all handmade souvenirs made of toilet paper. However, I felt that it was not convenient to carry. I asked if there was a Taobao store. I was told that there was only a physical store, so I could only miss it with such lighting.

To say that in the ancient city of Lijiang, there are many internet celebrity spots worth punching in and taking pictures. In fact, as long as it is an antique building, it will look good with colorful accessories.
Near Dayan Flower Alley, there is a street that looks a bit like "Spirited Away", and it is somewhat similar to Jiufen Old Street in Taiwan. And the colorful lanterns hanging here, the words on it are the Dongba characters mentioned before, which is even more characteristic of Lijiang!

There is also such a street full of oil paper umbrellas of various colors and patterns, which is my favorite street in the ancient city of Lijiang.
There are some specialty shops on both sides of the street. In fact, there are not as many tourists shopping on this street as on the main street. It is suitable for walking slowly and taking pictures quietly. Every umbrella hanging on it has a different pattern. I really want to buy one and take it home as a souvenir.

At night, the ancient city of Lijiang is even more different. I deliberately started from this street to find the charm of the ancient city of Lijiang.
Sure enough, at night, there are more tourists, and it seems that everyone is planning to go out to visit the ancient city at night. The old city of Lijiang, which was already very lively, became even more noisy at night, with one after another shouting, the sound of tourists talking and laughing, and the sound of playing and singing in bars, all mixed together. This is what the ancient city of Lijiang should look like.

The ancient city of Lijiang is actually quite crowded, because each street is not wide, and everyone is holding an umbrella because of the rain, so it is even more crowded when walking.
If you want to find a place in the ancient city, you really have to rely on navigation, otherwise you really can’t find it. The old streets with twists and turns are too easy to get lost, and there are not many signs, which makes you confused. Walk More to be familiar with some sections of the road.

In fact, a long time ago, the understanding of Lijiang was all online evaluations. At that time, I heard that Lijiang was a place where it was easy to have an affair, because the bars here are suitable for encounters.
There are also many comments that the excessive commercialization of Lijiang, especially the bar culture makes the ancient city of Lijiang too noisy. Of course, everyone's preferences for Lijiang are different.

So after I came to Lijiang this time, I was actually really scared by the bar culture here. Different from Dali, most of the bars in Dali belong to clear bars with more playing and singing, but I was stunned when I walked a bar street near Sifang Street in the ancient city of Lijiang. almost!
Did I say that the ancient city of Lijiang is so "foreign"? I'm scared, I really don't have a family that wants to go in and have a look...

To be honest, for Lijiang, I really don’t like Dali so much. Sure enough, I still love the simplicity and nature of Cangshan Erhai more.
However, there are actually many places to go around the ancient city of Lijiang, and they are very beautiful, such as Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Lugu Lake, etc. It is estimated that it will be even better when the sky is clear next time, so look forward to it.

[Life in the Ancient City] A bit comfortable but not enjoyable

During the few days of wandering around the ancient city, I also wanted to find some local delicacies. After looking through various guides, it seems that there are few that I particularly like. After all, some foreign restaurants are not very interesting, and Yunnan The local specialties seem to be almost eaten before...

When I checked in, the proprietress strongly recommended me to go to this second elder brother's rice noodle. After searching online, it turned out to be the most delicious rice noodle in the ancient city. After packing up my luggage, I went directly. In fact, when I arrived at the restaurant, it was already around 1:30 in the afternoon. I was shocked by the people waiting at the door. There were so many of them!
There was an embarrassing comment on the Internet, saying that compared with the empty rice noodle restaurant opposite, I realized that the second brother's rice noodles are so popular! Holding a person's number plate, I waited for half an hour before being seated.

After ordering at the cashier, take a seat and order all the specialties in the store. Even if you eat alone, you must persist in this stubbornness!
A crispy meat cake, a bowl of rice noodles in chicken soup, and a stewed pork knuckle are all must-order items in the store.
The crispy meat cakes are actually similar to meat buns, but the noodle cakes are crispy and thick; the stewed pork feet are really delicious, and the collagen that melts in the mouth, although it is a bit salty to eat alone; the chicken soup and rice noodles are really delicious. It's better to pair with local sauces!

Didn’t I eat Apo pork ribs once in Dali before? I really don’t know what to eat. Later, I ate several meals of pork ribs in Lijiang... Actually it’s not my favorite food series, but it is indeed a local specialty, and There are also too many people waiting for meals!

Forgive me for saying it now, when you arrive in Yunnan, you must eat mushroom hot pot! There are really everywhere, from the ancient city of Dali to the ancient city of Shuanglang, and finally in the ancient city of Lijiang! Before eating, I fantasized about whether I would be poisoned and hallucinate, but because they are all artificially produced mushrooms, they will not have this effect.
Although the taste is relatively light, but the nourishment is indeed true! There are many mushrooms in my mouth that I don’t know what they are, and some of them have never been seen before. Moreover, the mushroom hot pot in this restaurant uses such a primitive metal pot, which is really unique.

Later, my friend also recommended a local restaurant with Yunnan cuisine. The atmosphere is really comfortable. I like the yak crispy rice I ordered. Wrapped tofu is also a famous snack here.

Because of the rain, I didn't want to stay in the inn all the time, so I thought about going to the IKEA cafe. Then I found this N’s kitchen, mainly because I saw a coffee that was amazing and very cheap. It was Korean Internet celebrity 400 dozen coffee, which was also highly recommended by the boss.
The location of this cafe is also more convenient, the position of the window sill on the second floor can overlook the scenery of the ancient city.

This 400 dozen coffee is actually caramel foam coffee. The so-called 400 dozen refers to hand-made coffee made by the boss 400 times by hand. The method is also very easy. Mix coffee powder, sugar and hot water in a ratio of 1:1:1, and then beat it by hand 400 times until it becomes a foamy texture. After that, you can add hot water, milk, or whatever you like. On the black coffee, this side is directly added to the milk.
Simply tasting the coffee foam above is a bit sweet to bitter. Try to drink it with milk. If you don’t like sweet coffee, try not to try it.

[Xishuangbanna] Must visit this night market every day

In the end, I came to Xishuangbanna!
This trip to Yunnan, in fact, in addition to looking back at Dali back then, is to take a look at the different ethnic characteristics of Xishuangbanna. It seems that this year it was pushed by "Longing for Life". In fact, Xishuangbanna itself is a very popular travel destination, bordering Laos, Myanmar, and adjacent to Thailand and Vietnam, so it is really full of exotic customs.

Although this time I mainly stayed in Jinghong City in Xishuangbanna for a few days, I was really satisfied, especially here, I would come here for a long time every night!

In Gaozhuang, Jinghong City, there are three night markets connected together, namely Starlight Night Market, Ganbai Street Night Market and Liuguo Floating Market. It is really enough for you to shop at once! And the night market is right next to the Shwedagon Pagoda Temple, and the pagoda is really beautiful!
When night falls, the traffic around the Shwedagon Pagoda Temple gradually becomes congested, and tourists flock to the temple surroundings, indicating that the night market has begun.

But after a long walk, you will find that the things in the night market are basically the following:
Special handicrafts, barbecues, coffee, fruits, cold dishes, ethnic costumes, folk performances, bars, etc., it seems that there are quite a lot... Hahaha! All kinds of shops can really see a stall within a few steps, but the barbecue is basically a series of rows together!

The coffee here in Xishuangbanna is mainly Lao coffee, which tastes sweet, and the magic is that it is first packed in plastic bags and then paper bags.
It costs 15-18 yuan a bag, and you can really drink it all day, which is really too much and too cost-effective!

Guess what ice cream it is! It tastes like Moutai!

The ladies who set up the stalls, especially those who make Dai-style cold dishes, are basically dressed in national costumes, which are beautiful and special. Every time they knock, there are many tourists around. I really haven’t tasted the taste. However, cold green papaya shreds and so on are indeed the best snacks in Xishuangbanna!

If you want to say whether the barbecue in the night market is good, the general evaluation is...expensive and mediocre...so you decide for yourself! If you really want to eat barbecue, I think the street stalls outside are good!

Many people have said that when you come to Xishuangbanna, you can definitely eat as much fruit as you want! Look at this, any box of fruit only costs 10 yuan a box, I bought two big boxes, and eat while walking, it's really cool!

Next to the Ganbai Night Market, there is a bridge along the river bank to go to the Liuguo Floating Market, which is also a very exotic and ethnic market. However, some of the things sold are similar to the night market, and most of them are relatively new and foreign souvenirs.
But it's really good to feel the current atmosphere, and you can also take a cruise from the pier.

It may be due to the epidemic period. In fact, many stores in the floating market are not open, and a few of them obviously seem to be closed. The bustling level is definitely not comparable to that of the night market.
correct! If you come to the night market, you will find that near the entrance or inside the night market, many tourists wearing Dai costumes come to take blockbuster photos! Indeed, it is very beautiful. I don’t know the specific price, but there are really many photography shops! I was also curious for a while, why are they all girls and no boys wear them for shooting!

[Banna style] Dai style is fascinating

In fact, on the first day we arrived in Xishuangbanna, we were very lucky. It was a sunny day with a clear sky! Although it is in the sun, I feel very comfortable. I feel that the heart that has been continuously affected by the rainy days in Lijiang is finally clearer!
The large blue sky and white clouds, coupled with the Dai-style buildings, really thought that I had come to Southeast Asia! It's really been a long time since I went abroad, and I got great satisfaction in my heart.

There are actually many scenic spots worth checking in near Jinghong, but because I am not very interested in natural ecological parks and wild elephants, the only night market that I really want to visit is only available at night, so I have been thinking about where to go for a long time during the day Woolen cloth!

One is the Shwedagon Pagoda Temple, which is also the place where you must go to the night market every day. In fact, it looks somewhat similar to the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon. It is one of the nine towers of Gaozhuang Xishuangjing (meaning "nine towers and twelve cities").
In this Shwedagon Pagoda full of religious atmosphere, every step is influenced by Buddhist culture. The square in front of the pagoda is very empty, and believers are worshiping devoutly. The air is filled with the atmosphere of Buddhist art, which may be due to the incense.

In fact, looking at the small temple next to it, it does feel a bit like Chiang Mai. The red brick-colored Pagoda Temple is decorated with gold, and the eaves are also engraved with fine patterns everywhere, and the pagoda is so high that it looks so spectacular when looking up, giving people a sense of sacredness.
The dragon statues on both sides of the stairs are also carved vividly, even the dragon scales are shining, and they are designed in different styles and colors, which are exquisite.

Before the night market started, there were actually very few tourists in the temple. Most of the tourists we met were those who wore Dai costumes and took pictures as mentioned before.

When night falls, the lights of the pagoda are also lit up, echoing the blue sky, making the pagoda even more sacred and mysterious!

Another attraction I checked in in Xishuangbanna is Manting Park.

What Manting Park exhibits are the three major themes of "Dai Royal Culture, Buddhist Culture, and Dai Folk Culture". garden".
It used to be the imperial garden of the Dai king in Xishuangbanna. In the history of the Dai people, it was a place where feudal lords and chieftains were called to play and enjoy flowers.

In fact, many people come to Manting Park, the most important thing is to participate in the bonfire party at night!
This is a cultural performance with very ethnic characteristics, which combines the cultural characteristics of the six Lancang-Mekong River Basin countries of China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam. It also includes Dai, Jino, Blang, Lahu, Yao, The folk customs performances of the six Hani ethnic minorities who have lived in Xishuangbanna for a long time.

Moreover, the structure of this theater is magnificent and magnificent. I think it is a very amazing building in Manting Park!

In the park, there are not only natural landscapes made by nature, but also artificially cultivated exotic flowers and garden buildings. Tourists can not only play, but also walk around very comfortably. Of course, you can also go boating on the lake, and the breeze is coming, which is even more interesting.

The holy Manxi Longsun Pagoda was also built in the park. This white pagoda has been vicissitudes of time, but it still feels the worship of thousands of people. It is a very beautiful pagoda. Next to it is a statue of the Goddess of the Earth, which symbolizes a stable life, a wealth of wealth, protection of peace, and fulfillment of wishes. The spring water is still flowing to nourish tourists.

And the most beloved, I think it is the Zongfo Temple, which is the center of pilgrimage for Buddhist believers in Xishuangbanna.
The construction area of the courtyard is about 1,100 square meters. The main buildings include the main hall called "Weihan" in Dai language, the teaching building of the Buddhist College, the monk's house "Coaxing Nuan" and the unfinished "Bosu" (lotus top Buddha pavilion).

When I really approached the temple, I still felt the majesty and sacredness. There is a golden Buddha statue standing in the middle, with Dharma protectors on the left and right.
The temple is a brick and wood structure building, and there are three small towers in the middle of the ridge, forming the highest point of the temple. A plaque of "Xishuangbanna General Buddhist Temple" hangs above the gate of the hall.
Tourists can also approach the temple to worship and pray, but they are not allowed to take pictures. The hall is covered with floor glue and carpets. You need to take off your shoes to enter the temple. There are also monks praying. Visitors can buy a string of bracelets and give them to the monks to consecrate them on the spot. Buddhist believers must consecrate one on the spot!

There is also an exquisite Jingzhen Octagonal Covered Bridge in the park, and next to the park is the Manting Dai Village, which together form a trinity of parks, villages and Buddhist temples.
In order to attract family-friendly tourists, there are also hand-made handicrafts such as paper and clay in the scenic spot. Going deeper, there is also the Elephant Cultural Park, where you can see parrots, peacocks, elephants, etc. There are also elephant performances, and tourists can also have close contact with elephants for games or photos.

【Banna Cuisine】Delicious Dai style, lingering and forgetting to return

Let me tell you, when you come to Xishuangbanna, you must eat their grilled fish and chicken. The main dishes of the Dai restaurants here are all kinds of grilled food! The grilled chicken is delicious, tender and crispy, and when it is served on the table, it will be conquered by the aroma! Especially the freshly baked chicken is absolutely delicious! Grilled fish not only tests the tenderness of the fish, but also tests the appropriateness of seasonings.
You can also order fried eggs, pineapple rice, porcini mushrooms, etc., anyway, the taste is really good!

Then I found a pilaf restaurant diagonally opposite Manting Park. This restaurant is amazing. The name on the review is Yanhong Handai Elephant Hand Pilaf. However, we have been looking for it for a long time, but we can’t see it even though it’s right next to it. It turns out that the signboard of their house has undergone several rounds of updates, and it is no longer the name. The viscose that used to be practiced looks like it has another name...
This two-person set meal is quite affordable, with pineapple rice in the middle, vegetables, cucumbers, chicken, shrimp slices, and pork belly around the rice, but what shocked me the most was the fungus... I really can’t eat it !

In the night market, you may often see people selling empanadas, which look very similar to rice rolls, and you can see them made by themselves in various stalls.
The restaurant we are looking for seems to be relatively famous near the night market. The spokesperson is actually a child of their family. When we first arrived, we heard the child kept asking you for a big bowl and a small bowl. They asked for coconut jelly, which is cool and refreshing. It is really very delicious. Delicious, the proprietress also highly recommend!

In the end, what I patronize most in Xishuangbanna is coffee. In fact, local coffee is really everywhere, not only night markets and cafes, but basically the same coffee is sold.
For the first time, I didn't know it, so I directly searched for a relatively famous coffee shop called Guixiang · Laos Ice Coffee on the Internet. The cafe is actually very small, there are not many seats indoors, and the other four or five tables are basically outside, but it is still quite hot.

There are special prices for online purchases. I saw that in addition to coffee, there is also a local specialty dessert called paluda, so I ordered a cup out of curiosity. It turns out that it is coconut milk sago and bread cubes, and the bread cubes are soaked in coconut milk and eaten, it is indeed more like a dessert.

In fact, after the past two weeks, the Yunnan delicacies I have experienced are mainly those represented by various places. It will be a bit boring to stay for a few more days. I want to try some new ones but can’t find the real appetite.
But coffee desserts can be seen everywhere in every ancient city, and of course the most distinctive one is Xishuangbanna!
