Highlights of the itinerary

day1: On the first day, we arrived in Hohhot at 11:00 a.m., and the five of us went shopping in the urban area in the afternoon, walked around Dazhao Temple, Saishang Old Street, and ate special delicacies!

① Dazhao Wuliang Temple, also known as Dazhao Temple, is a Tibetan Buddhist temple located in the urban area of Hohhot. It was built in 1580 and was built more than 400 years ago. It is the earliest and largest Tibetan Buddhist temple built in Hohhot. I personally feel that it is similar to those in western Sichuan and Tibet. There is not much difference between the temples but it is worth visiting. It is recommended to ask a guide when you play, otherwise you can only wander around! !

②Saishang Old Street: On the right hand side from Dazhao Temple is Saishang Old Street, known as the condensed old shadow of old Hohhot, mainly selling various snacks, antiques and souvenirs with Mongolian characteristics, but the local price is different from other places Expensive, it is recommended to take a photo and check in jQuery17105733478118819837_1627305852324

③Food recommendation [Deshunyuan]: A Chinese snack bar that has been popularized by small videos!

Shaomai: It is different from the traditional siu mai we eat. The siu mai here has thin skin and thick meat, mainly mutton and green onions. The siu mai here is sold in twos, and there are about 8 siu mai for one tael, which is very generous! Locals buy by the pound.

Oily meat: The meat is fried first, and then fried, the meat is tender! Personally, I think it is a bit salty, and it is a bit greasy to eat too much!

Shallot Potato Shreds: Shallot is a plant that grows in the desert. It looks similar to green onions. I personally like to eat it! ! !

④Gerile Grandma’s Milk Tea House: Recommended top three Mongolian restaurants. I have been to Bite of China, and many celebrities have come here to check in. Recommended: Mongolian ice cream, haggis, fat beef in sour soup, stone barbecue! But I am not used to mutton, especially the blood sausage feels very fishy, friends who like to eat beef and mutton can try it!

day2: One-day tour of the Xilamuren Grassland, reaching the grassland to start the crazy photo mode, riding a horse in the morning? It’s really the first time riding a horse. I was nervous at the beginning and didn’t dare to move on the horseback. Because I was more afraid of horses, I fell off the horse in the middle of the journey. Fortunately, I was fine.) It took at least 40 minutes, and the whole experience was still very good. I slowly overcame my fear and rode more and more smoothly! jQuery17101582281375175909_1627308486116

After riding the horse, it was noon and we had lunch. I took pictures on the grassland in the afternoon, but the weather was bad, the clouds were so thick that I didn’t get the feeling of the blue sky in the photo, and the wind on the grassland was very strong around 5 o’clock in the afternoon, and I had a rhinitis and kept sneezing! Stay on the grassland at night, live in a yurt (the conditions of the yurt are limited, so don’t think that the conditions of the hotel are as good as staying in the yurt, but the yurt is also a good experience! There are pros and cons to everything. Going out to play is not just about having fun, And experience a different life.)

To be honest, the Xilamuren Grassland was a bit disappointing, because I thought it was a grassland with very lush grass like Hulunbeier, but when I arrived, I found that the grass was very shallow. I heard from the locals that because tourism development and grazing can only be done in the former pasture area, so we looked at it. The grass is relatively shallow, and the really beautiful grassland is in the back pasture area but can't get in; and I heard from the locals that in order to protect the prairie, there is no nomadic life here now, but a settled life in the front pasture area, and each person can only raise 30 Head sheep and cows!

day3: The third day is what I look forward to the most. I have been to Ruoergai Grassland before, so my expectation for the grassland is not as strong as that of the desert. After all, I entered the desert for the first time.

Today is mainly a one-day tour of Xiangshawan Desert jQuery17107713503365400922_1627308535309, the first time I saw the desert? I am so excited?! As soon as I arrived at the entrance, I met a company group tour. There were almost 100 people, all of whom were in red skirts. I dreamed that it was lucky that I didn’t wear red skirts (laughing+lucky). To enter the scenic spot, you need to take a cable car to reach the desert transfer station. , and then you have to make a car to reach Xiangshawan. The Lotus Hotel in Xiangshawan is said to cost 2000+ a night (too expensive, and friends with money can go to experience it)

There is a big water park in Xiangsha Bay. You can bring your swimsuit to have fun in the water park, and then you can go to the camel! After all, there are water parks everywhere in Chongqing. We directly filter this party and go straight to the camel ride. After the camel ride, we started to take pictures in various concave shapes in the desert!

Under the blue sky and white clouds in the desert, I suddenly think of the magnificence of a poem "the desert is solitary, the long river sets the sun"!

day4: It was too tiring to play in the desert all day, so on the fourth day, I wandered around the city of Ordos in the morning, had a brazier barbecue, and returned to Hohhot in the afternoon!

day5: Buy special products in the morning, go shopping (bought a lot of beef jerky and milk chips) and go home at the airport at noon?

Little Tips

one: ?The weather here is too dry, you must add water, 5 days of rhinitis + tonsil inflammation in Inner Mongolia is too uncomfortable!

Two: Sun protection——Inner Mongolia has strong ultraviolet rays, the sun rises at 4 o'clock in the morning, and the sun doesn't set until 9 o'clock in the evening, so remember to do a good job of sun protection! It was a miserable day in the desert????

Three: Respect local customs and cultural habits. It is best to wear long trousers to show respect when entering a temple.

Finally, the so-called travel is to experience a different life in a place where you are bored and to a place where others are bored. It is precisely this kind of scenery on the road that can make you feel good. This pleasant journey is over, and I look forward to the next one journey!

The code word is too difficult, please like it! (laughing + pen refill)
