Some people say that it is a pity not to come to Xinjiang once in your life, and some people say that you will not want to leave after you come to Xinjiang. You don’t know the meaning of this sentence until you encounter Xinjiang in the ice and snow in winter. This trip into Tianchi is just the winter when Xinjiang has just entered the ice and snow period, but the "Tianchi" mentioned here is not the "Tianchi" of Changbai Mountain in Jilin, Northeast China, but the Tianchi of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang, also known as Yaochi.

Recently, Urumqi was hit by a blizzard, and it happened to leave Urumqi for Tianchi in the morning under heavy snow, and it was snowing all the way. Tianshan "Tianchi" is located in Fukang City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, 97 kilometers away from the capital Urumqi, and it took nearly 2 hours on this road, and there are beautiful scenery along the way. After lunch, I went up the mountain to Tianchi Scenic Area. It turns out that the most beautiful snow scene is still in this deep mountain.

Walking along the wooden plank road at the entrance of the scenic spot, there is still half an hour's walk away from the Tianchi Lake with water, and you plunge into a dream world of ice and snow surrounded by spruces. The northern part of the country has just entered the cold winter, while Xinjiang has already reached below zero, and Tianchi presents its unique natural landscape with its special geographical location.

The picture shows that the staff of the scenic spot are clearing the way for tourists to shovel snow. The Tianchi Scenic Area after the snow is really a step by step. Tourists walk in it and pick up their mobile phones to take pictures. Tree hanging, also known as rime, is the most common landscape in Tianchi in winter. It is formed due to the large temperature difference between morning and evening. It is rarely seen in ordinary places, but in the mountains of Tianchi, it is full of trees and ice, which is very spectacular.

In some snow-seeing places across the country, snow is snow, but the snow scene in Tianchi is seen from trees, ground, and rivers in all directions. There is a river flowing through the mountain on one side here. The river water is so clear that fish can be seen. The origin of the word Tianchi comes from the "Inscription on the Canal Digging of Lingshan Tianchi" in the 48th year of Qianlong. It is said that more than 3,000 years ago, Emperor Mu had a feast and song with the Queen Mother of the West on the bank of Tianchi.

If you look at Tianchi before entering the deep winter, there is water in the snow, and the water is accompanied by snow. As the temperature drops in winter, some water will gradually freeze like Tianchi water in the later period.

This place straddles the hinterland of Asia and is the natural boundary between the Tarim Basin and the Junggar Basin. The rime and snow in winter make tourists from the south linger and forget that the final destination is to see Tianchi water.

It takes about half an hour to climb up the wooden plank road from the entrance of the scenic spot, and the real Tianchi comes into view. At this time, the water in Tianchi has not yet frozen, and the water quality is clear and flooded. Tianchi Lake is half-moon shaped, 3400 meters long and 1500 meters wide at its widest point, with a total area of ​​4.9 square kilometers. After the snow, the Tianchi Lake is surrounded by white snow, and the two big red characters of Tianchi Lake are particularly eye-catching in the snow.

Tianshan Tianchi is a famous lake in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The lake here is 1910 meters above sea level and the deepest part is 103 meters. It is a natural landscape centered on alpine lakes. The sun was setting, and at this time, the distant sun dyed the mountains beside Tianchi Lake red.

The winter snowfall period of Tianchi Scenic Area lasts for 6-7 months, while the freezing period of Tianchi water is 5 months, and the lake ice thickness will reach more than 1 meter.
