This is the fifth time I have come back to Beijing. I am no stranger to Beijing, but the previous few trips were short trips, so this time I came back loosely, and I took my time to check in.

Check-in No. 1 - Forbidden City

From "I am repairing cultural relics in the Forbidden City", to "National Treasure", and then to "New in the Forbidden City", recently the fiery Forbidden City light show and exhibits of the Forbidden City, which were recently promoted by the director of the Forbidden City and his team, continue to be among the "hot spots". , A snowfall in the Forbidden City on the eve of the Lantern Festival almost exploded the circle of friends, and because of this snow, my sister finally couldn't bear the restless mood, directly bought a train ticket and went to Beijing, and of course, to avoid Shanghai's continuous Nearly a month of rain.

I booked tickets for the Forbidden City + tour guide + treasure hall + watch hall online, 86 soft sister coins. (Forbidden City tickets 40) In fact, the price/performance ratio is pretty good. Because our tour guide is very dedicated, he covered all the basic details. In the end, the tour guide asked us to "hold on for a while, and the talk will be over soon." Hahahaha, he really did his best! (The tour guide of [Xu Ran Travel], the explanation of the Forbidden City, surnamed Wang, highly recommended!!)

Everyone knows that the Forbidden City is basically divided into:
1/ The central axis, the gathering place for men such as the emperor's ascension to the throne and discussions
2/ East and West Six Palaces, the residence of the harem concubines, including the imperial garden

Regarding the history of the Forbidden City, everyone can search it online, so I won’t go into details. Let’s briefly summarize some interesting cold knowledge:
1/ The name Beijing has a birthday. It was called Beiping before, but it was just a vassal because the imperial palace was located in Nanjing at that time. Later, the third emperor of the Ming Dynasty moved to Nanjing after seizing the throne, but he still didn't like it there. Finally, under the proposal of the minister, he returned to Beiping, where he used to live, and later changed his name to "Beijing".
2/ The big and small rooms of the Forbidden City start from the date of a child's birth, and they will live in one room every day, until they are around 27 years old.
3/ There are 72 concubines in the Sixth Courtyard of the Sangong, 3 concubines in a courtyard, the highest status is in the big room in the middle, the left room is next, and the right room is the last. But in history, there has never been an emperor who really had 72 concubines at the same time. (It is estimated that I dislike too much hard work)
4/ The Palace of Yanxi Palace was once struck by lightning and caught fire, and it has long been inhabited. Later, it cast a building in the water in a Western style, and designed glass compartments to put water and fish, commonly known as the Crystal Palace. Reluctantly, the Eight-Power Allied Forces invaded Beijing and occupied the Forbidden City. Since then, the Crystal Palace has become an unfinished building.

5/The emperor of the Ming Dynasty took a walk after dinner, and lived in the palace wherever he went; while the emperor of the Qing Dynasty had the emperor turn over the signboard, and whoever found it would invite him to the emperor’s dormitory. Send it back to your own palace, and the personal eunuch will remind the emperor every hour. (This eunuch is also a high-risk occupation. This kind of "alarm clock" is probably easy to lose his head, right?) This rule was set by Xiaozhuang, because at that time there was an illegitimate child between the emperor and a court lady, and later it was strictly required that the royal family not Become a mystery girl. Of course, this provision is limited to the Forbidden City. Go to Jiangnan. . . hiahiahiahia. . . So there was "Returning the Pearl"?
6/ The Forbidden City was formerly known as the "Forbidden City". Purple, that is, the Ziwei star, corresponds to the Ziwei Palace of the Jade Emperor in the sky.
7/ The Forbidden City used to be very large, extending all the way to the current Qianmen. The meeting hall of that year is the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall today. Therefore, the places outside the front door are the common people in the past, while the places inside the front door are the houses of the officials in the past. Class distinctions are clear. It has the same meaning as the "upper corner" and "lower corner" in Shanghai in the past.
(The above cold knowledge comes from the explanation, if there is any mistake, please correct me)

At present, the Treasure Hall and Clock Hall of the Forbidden City are open for exhibitions, which is a good opportunity to feast your eyes. Next, let’s enjoy a few beautiful pictures, and let those who are going to go there first satisfy their greed~~

I am in a good mood today, send an easter egg in advance! Randomly shoot a video in the Forbidden City, now edited jokes~~~Wow Ka Ka Ka Ka ~~~

Transportation: Subway Line 2, Tiananmen West Station.
Suggestion: enter the Forbidden City early in the morning, and prepare some dry food in your bag, because the Forbidden City can be visited all day, of course there are restaurants inside, and the price is quite reasonable (40+rmb/noodle). The crooked neck tree where the emperor hanged himself.

Check-in No. 2 - Beijing Square

Beijing Square is located on Qianmen Street, and it is recommended by friends in Beijing as a check-in place for Internet celebrities. Here is a fusion of Beijing's old buildings and emerging cultures. The combination of ancient and modern is very interesting!

There is China's first MUJI hotel, a Starbucks store, and a bookstore that attracts all kinds of Internet celebrities to check in.

Interspersed here is a gourmet broadcast: Bureau Qi Beijing Cuisine

I have to say, this store is really hot! Pick up the number before 5 o'clock in the evening, and wait for nearly an hour and a half before eating! Of course, after coming in, I really felt that the one-and-a-half hour wait was not in vain!

Let’s talk about the decoration style first. Every element restores the life of old Beijing.

Besides, the dishes are all home-cooked dishes of ordinary people in Beijing. His pear soup is very delicious, thick, sweet but not greasy! There are a variety of dishes, and the key points are to share this fried rice with bacon. The creativity is limitless. How creative? Check out the video:

Transportation: Subway Line 2, Qianmen Station
Suggestion: You can wander around Qianmen Street at night

Check-in place No. 3 - Nanluoguxiang

Nanluoguxiang is an alley that must be punched every time you come to Beijing. The short street is dotted with all kinds of small shops. Of course, it is mainly snacks. Among them, there are many Internet celebrity shops with long queues.

This time, I came mainly for food, so I would like to share two shops that you can taste:
The first is a spring cake shop located in the hutong, "Juenyuan Spring Cake Banquet", which provides very down-to-earth authentic Beijing dishes. Their spring pancakes are a must-try, they are great!

The second one is the soufflé dessert shop, "Miyuzhijian", which is crowded with people. Not only is the soufflé delicious, but the pastry is also amazing!

Transportation: Subway Line 2, Nanluoguxiang Station
Suggestion: Stroll all the way from Nanluoguxiang to Houhai, if you have time, you can sit in a bar in Houhai and listen to music

Check-in No. 4 - Guozijian & Wudaoying Hutong & Lama Temple

These three places belong to the same area, so those who like to visit alleys can go to Wudaoying Hutong. The subway goes directly to the Lama Temple Station. When you get off, you can go to the Lama Temple to pray first. The ticket is 25rmb, and the incense is free, which is very reasonable! It is said that it is a very effective Lama Temple. Of course, it is also said that this depends on personal beliefs.
Tips: lighters cannot be brought in

The Guozijian is across the road. I won’t say much about the history of the Guozijian. You can find it online. The reason why this street is worth checking in is that the red wall of the Imperial College is perfect for taking pictures! Under the sun, it has a very Beijing flavor! Compared with the red wall at the entrance of the Forbidden City, the red wall of Guozijian is more colorful, and it is suitable as the background.

The museum here is closed on Mondays, so remember to choose another time to come.

Wudaoying Hutong is very short, with various cafes and small shops, and now it has become a check-in place for wedding photos. There are far less people here than in Nanluoguxiang, so it is very quiet. It is suitable to find a south-facing cafe and spend an afternoon basking in the sun. Somewhat similar to 798 Art Workshop, this is another literary style in Beijing.

Transportation: Arrive at Lama Temple Station by subway

Finally, Yuanmingyuan and Sanlitun, I personally don't think it takes too much time. Yuanmingyuan is a large park with a relatively large area. In winter, the lake is frozen and looks a bit depressed, so if you come alone, it will be boring... In Yuanmingyuan, you mainly see the ruins burned by the British and French allied forces. The ruins are concentrated in one place. If there is no explanation, it will take half an hour. That's it.
Tips: Peking University and Tsinghua University are near the Old Summer Palace and can be arranged in one day. The university needs to make an appointment in advance to visit, and it is also a very historically valuable institution...

Sanlitun Bar Street is now a business district where hipsters gather. Shopping and drinking coffee can pass the time, and there is basically nothing to stay for while watching the flowers or taking pictures. Of course, you can also dress up and be photographed by others.

Well, this time it’s more free and undisciplined, and I can go wherever I want to go, so I picked some interesting places to share...Everyone just pick the places you like and check in.

Recommended accommodation: Weiming Junhe Hotel

Comments: This is the third time I stay at this hotel. The service is as good as ever. Especially the front desk staff are warm and attentive!! You must give a thumbs up!! There are all kinds of food around the hotel waiting for you to taste, and it is very convenient to go anywhere! Four Around the ring, the price of four or five hundred is definitely the first choice! ! ! There is a free parking lot at the entrance. Two boxes of Ferrero chocolates will be given as a gift on the day of check-in! Awesome! The room is fully equipped and everything is clean and tidy! The hotel is very careful and each room is equipped with a large humidifier to bring moisture in the dry Beijing winter! The most important point is that the pillows and mattresses in the room are very soft and comfortable. It is strongly recommended to check in and experience it! The bathroom is provided with a sterile cushion. It is separated from dry and wet, and the shower area is large. The shower water is sufficient and the temperature is fast! The room above the executive king bed is also equipped with a bathtub! In short, the best thing is the service attitude of the front desk. No matter day shift or night shift, male or female front desk, each one is more careful, one is more patient than one, and one is more enthusiastic than the other. I stayed for 8 days in total, and I often order takeaway, every time The front desk personally delivered it to the room, and when I left on the last day, I also sent 2 hand warmers and 2 hot posts!
