Jianhu Lake is one of the important plateau wetlands in Yunnan. It is located in Jianchuan County, Dali Prefecture, near the county seat. Starting from the ancient city of Dali, drive through National Highway 214 and Dali Expressway, get off the expressway at the "Diannan" toll station, and then take the county road to Jianhu Grove. The whole journey is about 120 kilometers and takes about 2 hours. You can also get off the expressway at the "Jianchuan" toll station, and then take a detour to Jianhu Grove. The distance of the two routes is similar.

Traveling in Jianchuan, Jianchuan Mountain Old Leg Hot Pot is very worthwhile to taste a gourmet food. We navigated to the store at 11:00 in the morning. Fortunately, we had to book in advance, otherwise we would have to wait in line. Chicken stewed with old ham, the taste is very authentic, the per capita consumption is 55 yuan, the price is moderate and it is clean and hygienic.

While waiting for the food to be served, I visited the restaurant. On the wall at the cashier counter on the first floor, various honorary certificates and photos are hung, and they have been on CCTV and received many celebrities. After tasting the perfect food, we went to the grove of Jianhu according to the navigation, the distance is about 6 kilometers. The grove is just to the east of the road around the lake. Entering the grove, there is a large open-air free parking lot. Starting from here on foot, the tour of Jianhu Grove really begins.

We went east to the trestle on the left hand side and entered the woods. As soon as we entered the grove, we were fascinated by the scenery in front of us. In the straight poplar forest, a tree-lined trestle path extended to the distance. People came and went on the trestle, so lively ah. In the golden autumn and October, with the breeze blowing, the golden leaves fall with the wind, and the ground is full of golden carapaces. One leaf knows autumn is such a wonderful thing.

Before I knew it, I walked along the trestle bridge to the edge of Jianhu Lake, where there is a viewing platform. Right in front of the viewing platform is the Jianhu Wetland, and on the right hand side are endless poplar trees, which is very spectacular.

There are also many trails in the woods, where you can take pictures while playing. In the afternoon, there are more and more tourists, and there are many tourists on the trestle bridge and viewing platform. Since Linn wants to fly the drone, the site needs to be slightly larger and open, so we returned to the parking lot and then headed east along the dirt road to the edge of Jianhu Lake.

By a small pool, Linn found a suitable place for the drone to take off, so he decided to take a test flight. Taking off to a high altitude overlooking the entire grove, I was stunned by the infinite beauty.

Walk along the dirt road and enjoy the scenery along the way. In the small woods, there are vehicles and tourists in the open places, there are hammocks, sun umbrellas, etc., and there are groups of happy tourists. In the golden October, when the Mid-Autumn Festival meets the National Day, there are many tourists who come here to enjoy the autumn, and many of them have license plates from other places and provinces.

Passing through this small forest, you will arrive at the edge of Jianhu Lake. There are many vehicles parked on both sides of the road, there are still many tourists, and the autumn scenery is still charming.
