Xinjiang is a city that makes people fall in love at first sight. You have thousands of reasons to fall in love with it, but you can't find an excuse to hate it. Its charm is enough to fascinate travelers all over the world. Even though the sunshine lasts up to 16 hours a day due to the high altitude and thin clouds, it is a veritable city of sunshine, but it cannot resist people's desire to wander in this land. In Xinjiang, you never know what you will encounter or miss, just like the long journey of life for every traveler, full of unknowns and challenges. Now, I am about to pack my bags and go to Kashgar, 3,726 kilometers away in southern Xinjiang, to have a "big adventure" of my own.
journey:
DAY1: Kashgar Railway Station - Super 8 Select Hotel Kashgar Ancient City Branch
DAY2: Super 8 Select Hotel Kashgar Ancient City Store—Kashgar Ancient City—Super 8 Select Hotel Kashgar Ancient City Store
DAY3: Super 8 Hotel Kashgar Ancient City Store - Id Kah Mosque
I am very impressed with Xinjiang. When I was a child, the barbecue stalls on the streets of my hometown were all Xinjiang lamb kebabs. Although the people who kebab kebabs are not necessarily from Xinjiang, they are all delicious. There is also the cake-cutting event in Xinjiang that rushed to the hot news in one fell swoop, which made me and my friends talk about it for a summer vacation. So this time I decided to go to Xinjiang alone, wanting to experience the exotic customs for myself.
The most novel thing about this journey is the green leather train. I grew up in the urban area of Xi’an, and I have never taken such a train. It happened to take advantage of this journey to drive all the way from Xi’an to Kashgar, Xinjiang. Let me talk about it first Let’s take a look at the itinerary of this trip: the ancient city of Kashgar and the Id Kah Mosque. I didn’t choose too many attractions, just to be able to enjoy the exotic customs of Xinjiang. As soon as I got off the green leather train, I couldn't wait to go to the hotel I booked - Super 8 Select Hotel Kashgar Ancient City Branch. This is my first time staying at Super 8. As for why I choose this hotel, you will know when I go to the attractions. The hotel facilities are quite good, let's take a look at the map first.
The superior double room is really soft and comfortable, and it only costs 300 yuan, which is very cost-effective
After resting in the hotel for one night, I plan to officially set foot on the old city of Kashgar, but here I have to praise the location of the Super 8 Select Hotel Kashgar Ancient City Branch (give me a hard compliment), the hotel is 10 minutes away from Kashgar The ancient city is 651 meters, my God, it would be so pleasant to walk directly there. This allows me to slowly start with an authentic Kashgar breakfast in the hotel. The hotel provides a wide range of cold dishes, full-bodied oily or egg pancakes, authentic salted milk tea made with sheepskin, etc. Full of energy, set off to the old city of Kashgar.
This is a living thousand-year-old city, full of earthy tones that make the ancient city full of charm; colorful painted decorations make the ancient city more lively; the melodious melody around the ears makes the ancient city lively and noisy. The ancient city is bounded by Jiefang North Road and divided into east and west districts. The core area of the old city is one of the largest adobe buildings in the world. It combines the style of the Han and Tang Dynasties, the ancient Roman heritage and the modern life style of the Uyghur people. The labyrinthine city blocks featured.
Today, the residents of the old city still abide by the earthen houses that have been lived in for generations and the traditional customs of thousands of years. This is a place that cannot be finished in a lifetime, and this pure humanistic style instantly healed my restless soul.

I decided to start shopping in the west area of the ancient city. The time between 10:00-12:00 is more suitable, because most of the shops in the ancient city don’t open until after nine or ten o’clock. Don’t go too early, otherwise you won’t be able to see anything. to yo. Stepping into the West District, you will find that the porches of every store here are very delicate and colorful, as if there is no repeated color, very romantic. It is recommended that you change into a traditional Xinjiang costume and take a few photos in this unique alley in the western district, and your circle of friends will instantly be praised.
Goods in the old town
From 12:00 to 17:30, I recommend you to take a stroll in the east area of the ancient city. The difference between here and the West District is that the East District will be more commercialized and lively, unlike the West District, which is more quiet and leisurely. The atmosphere of fireworks is very strong, and the East District basically includes the more popular check-in places on the Internet. The famous movie "The Kite Runner" was also filmed here. Friends who like this movie can come here to look for it.

In the evening, I basically "hang out" in the night market in the eastern part of the old city, watching street music and music while eating, which has a special flavor. Do you all think that Xinjiang at night is uninhabited? I thought so too at first, but the night market in the Eastern District really gets busier as the night approaches. I heard from local elders that the busiest time here is 12 o’clock in the evening.
As usual, I had a satisfying breakfast at the hotel to replenish the energy consumed by visiting the east and west areas of the old city yesterday. Today I plan to visit the Id Kah Mosque. In fact, the Id Kah Mosque is located in the center of the old city of Kashgar. It is a courtyard temple and one of the largest mosques in the country. But because I was too immersed in the tranquility of the West District and the prosperity of the East District yesterday, I didn't go in to have a look. The Id Kah Mosque is 898 meters away from the hotel, and it only takes 13 minutes to walk there, which is very convenient. As a landmark building in the urban area of Kashgar, describing this temple with grandeur is really beyond compare. The goose-yellow building complex and its soft and quiet arc design make the whole building complex perfectly blend into the atmosphere of the old city. If When you are lucky enough to meet Islamic traditional festivals such as Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr, you will see tens of thousands of Muslims celebrating here, and the scene is very grand.

In fact, if you are not very obsessed with Islamic-style architecture, then you don’t need to spend the ticket price to watch it. The beautiful photo scenes in the east and west of the ancient city are enough. I walked around this temple for about two hours. Since I was about to check out at three o'clock in the afternoon (it was two o'clock, just in time for the Super 8 headquarters to do activities, I delayed my checkout by an hour. My luck on this trip It’s really good), I didn’t stay too long, I hurried back to the hotel to pack up and headed home.
Is it the resonant plot in the movie that evoked my thoughts, or the aroma of that page in the book that filled my mood? Now I want to come to the ancient city of Kashgar in Xinjiang, which is the farthest place I have ever been to alone. As for the reason, I can’t tell. Maybe I just want to leave some memories in this fast food era. I recommend you all to visit Kashgar. This is my first visit to Kashgar, but it won’t be the last time. Friends who are interested can make an appointment together. Those who want to visit the ancient city of Kashgar alone should book tickets now. , just walk away, the hotel chooses Super 8 Select Hotel Kashgar Ancient City, it is OK, the price is good, and the service is OK, mainly because it is really close to the scenic spots. That's it, I will share it with you later, I hope you will like my travel diary, bye.
