Going to Shuishang Yadan is relatively close to Golmud.

You can choose to fly from Shanghai to Golmud, and then drive locally.

From Shanghai to Golmud, there is no direct flight. It is a good idea to transfer from Zhengzhou. China Eastern Airlines connects with Western Airlines. Of course, if you choose Western Airlines, remember to buy the luggage allowance by the way. This is a low-cost airline, and ordinary cabin bags cannot be boarded on the plane.

DAY1 Shanghai-Golmud-Shuishang Yadan (RV)

It is really not easy for people from the east to go to the west once. Go out early in the morning, from Shanghai to Zhengzhou, then transfer to Golmud, and then go to the scenic spot. There is a 350KM road, which takes about 4 hours by car, so bring some food and water on the way It is very necessary. There are many gas stations on the road, and it is no problem to go to the bathroom and replenish food.

It was already evening when we arrived at the scenic spot. Let’s live in the RV camp on the first day. When the sunset reflected on the RV, I realized that I had already arrived in Qinghai.



When the weather is excellent, this is still a good place to camp and watch the stars, provided the weather is strong.

Here is the Karen Benway RV, there are four-person RV and two-person RV.

The internal area of ​​the four-person caravan will be larger. It is specially customized for a family of four. There are twin beds on the outside and bunk beds inside. The second-child family has no pressure at all. There are TVs and Wi-Fi, and the bathroom and shower room are separated. The sofa is huge and there is even a mahjong machine! If a group of friends come together, you can play a few games, haha.

There are 4 bottles of mineral water in the room, there is also an electric kettle, a hair dryer, and the equipment is complete.



For a double room, it is relatively simple, and there is no such thing as a sofa.

It depends on your own needs, I live in a double car.



The sunrise here is early, the sunset is late, and the sunshine time is very long. The real darkness will be around 9 or 10 in the evening.

So went for dinner at 8 and the sky was still blue.



Meals are on the second floor of the visitor center.

The visitor center facilities are relatively modern, and the massage chairs are also very comfortable.



The order and buffet (40 yuan/person) are OK, and the staple food, Hanamaki, is quite good. Sure enough, the pasta in the west is better than the east.

The overall taste of the dishes is salty and spicy. Of course, there are also non-spicy dishes, such as sweet and sour pork ribs, so feel free to eat.




After a good dinner, you can rest. The network is not bad, and the mobile signal is also very good.

To watch the sunrise, I wrapped myself in thick clothes, such as thin down jackets and jackets. It was really windy in the morning.

After a short walk from the RV camp, you can reach Turtle Bay where you can watch the sunrise.



While waiting for the sunrise, take a look at the uniqueness of this water yard.

Yadan landform now generally refers to a wind-eroded landform in dry areas. The ground formed by the soil-like sediments of rivers and lakes, after weathering, intermittent water erosion and wind erosion, forms wind-eroded mounds and mounds arranged alternately with the prevailing wind direction. Wind-eroded depression (trench) landform combination. The long-term wind blowing and erosion caused the surface of the Yadan body to peel off layer by layer, and the shape gradually changed from ridges to towers, columns, and mushrooms.



In fact, it is quite easy to confuse it with Danxia and karst landforms.

The formation of Wusute (water) Yardang is also quite interesting. There was no water here. One year, a mountain torrent broke out, and the water of the Nalengele River, which originated in Kunlun Mountains, was diverted and submerged this area, forming the water Yardang landform. , the only one on earth, but because of the geographical environment, it may disappear in 10-20 years, so you have to see the scenery as early as possible. I can’t help but think of Notre Dame de Paris this year. The day before I went to Paris, it was destroyed by fire, and I missed this building. Therefore, I, who was planted with grass on the water, came immediately after returning to China, and I didn’t want to miss it.



Before sunrise, the color of this Yardang landform is very layered.



But on the day that passed, the clouds were relatively thick, and the sun kept hiding behind the clouds, which was a pity.

The sunrise is almost 8 o'clock in this season. Go back to the RV camp and lie down for a while. I am afraid that it will take physical strength to go up the small hills of Yadan.

The color of the lake surface of Yadan on the water is very magical. It will show different colors with the change of air pressure and temperature. It will be dark blue in the morning and evening, and emerald green at noon. It is also very layered and not a single color.

It looks like a lake, but a sea, which reminds me of the color of the Red Sea, and it's just like this.



The beach by the lake is relatively soft, so be careful if you walk over it.

Take another look at Water Yadan and return to Shanghai.
