It's been a while since I've made an appointment with a few good friends to go on a trip. I have been to many places together before, but they were all short-distance trips in a hurry. I haven't tried to get along day and night and go to sparsely populated places.

At the beginning of the year, everyone discussed this year's holiday arrangements, talked about it, and talked about wanting to go to the Northwest. They are all action groups. After finalizing the vacation separately, Mengmeng is in charge of the itinerary arrangement, and each quickly bought the air ticket.

Then there is the eagerly awaited arrival of June.

On June 15, 2019, the sun was shining and the breeze was blowing. It was a good day suitable for travel. Packed up my luggage, put on my little hat, and set off to the northwest with great interest!

Mengmeng is in charge of the team's abilities. We jokingly call her "Mr. Luo" because she can handle everything in the first place. The itinerary and ticket reservations for this trip are all arranged by her, she is simply an omnipotent travel assistant.

Ruan Ruan is responsible for our appearance. As the name suggests, she is petite and petite, especially Wu Nong's soft language, which is always intoxicating. He is not as pretentious as an ordinary beautiful girl, and he often laughs out of witty remarks.

The goblin is a veritable cute character. She always looks like the classic dazed expression of Kodak Duck, chatting and asking questions in a few words, and then it's our turn to look at each other: "What are the goblins talking about?"

Such a unique tourist team will finally meet in the northwest of the motherland and start a six-day journey to the west.

Day 1 Xining

The first stop is Xining, an important city and a tourist transfer station in the northwest border. According to the itinerary plan, the team will meet here and set off together.

Mengmeng set off on the first day, and landed in Xining early in the morning after transferring from Xi'an, and then waited for me to arrive at noon at the airport.

Probably because of the cloudy and windy weather in the area, I was dressed in half-summer attire, and I was blown by the wind as soon as I stepped out of the cabin door. Looking at the loess high mountains and the low hanging clouds around the airport, it was like a black cloud overwhelming the city, and the tragic feeling of the imminent battle filled my heart, and I almost shed tears.

Mengmeng waited for me at the airport for four or five hours. After we met, we directly contacted the driver who picked up the airport and set off for downtown Xining.

Xining is a long and narrow city distributed along the valley. All the way along the highway is in the valley, and there are stretching mountains on both sides. Looking at the scenery, the knowledge learned in the previous geography class was unexpectedly recalled bit by bit. It seems that the ancients said "read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles", and I am not deceiving.

After arriving at the hotel and putting away our luggage, Mengmeng and I set out to check out local gourmet snacks. Before checking the strategy, the most famous food centers in Xining are Mojia Street and Shuijing Lane. Based on our intuition, we set off directly to Mojia Street, which turned out to be very correct afterwards, because Shuijing Lane is semi-closed and is being renovated, the ground is muddy and few shops are open. If we go directly to Shuijing Lane, we may be hungry Died halfway.

Mojia Street is a collective name for a commercial area, where all kinds of local delicacies are densely packed, which is simply dazzling. In the end, we really didn't know what to eat, so we entered the "Mazhong Restaurant" full of tourists. I thought it was a famous restaurant, but later I found out that it is a gourmet city that gathers all kinds of snacks. But half of the seats in the store belonged to a casserole restaurant, and Mengmeng and I didn't know it, so we just sat in it. The waiter brought the menu, and we both gasped. The price is close to that of the first-tier cities. Any dish is almost 100 RMB less. I’m afraid it’s not in a black shop...

I was really embarrassed to get up and leave. We ordered a bowl of noodles and a casserole. Fortunately, when they were served, we found that the portion was worth the price. Eighty percent of the beef casserole was made of beef. Sure enough, Northwest meat is not worth the money. of. Then I went to the surrounding stalls and served local special potato cakes, yogurt, and stuffed skin, and ate a round belly.

After lunch, the two of us, who couldn't bear it anymore, headed for Shuijing Lane. Afterwards, I had a closed door, and the Shuijing Lane market under renovation was fenced off, and there was a lot of sewage. When I turned my head to look at the scene next to me, I accidentally stepped into the sewage pit. Fortunately, I have recently been exercising to lose weight, and my skills are still strong. If I take one step, I will pass, otherwise the good mood of the first day of travel will be ruined.

We routinely checked in at the entrance of Shuijing Lane and took pictures. Mengmeng and I didn’t know where to spend our time. The downtown area of Xining felt that it was not very popular, and there were no business districts or attractions worth visiting. Looking at the big shopping mall across the road, we both made a huge idiotic decision: to watch a movie. The two of us told Ruanruan and Fairy on WeChat that we decided to watch a movie and wait for them to arrive, and they both burst out laughing: What kind of spirit is it to go all the way to Xining to watch a movie. But it turns out that the man in black is really not good-looking, I fell asleep after watching the beginning...

The goblin arrives first, and Ruanrou's plane is delayed. Mengmengsi and I went back to Mojia Street after much deliberation. We wanted to wait for them at the famous Qinghai local hot pot, but we were politely invited out by the thriving store because everyone was late. Then I went around to eat the same famous Delu yogurt. I really like the yogurt. It’s a solid bowl of yogurt. I took two bowls by myself. Raiders do not recommend this one, but I think it is delicious, and then I went home and airlifted three bowls. It's really about the cultivation of a foodie.

After several twists and turns, the four of them finally got together and went back to Mazhong Restaurant to order a table full of food. The overall situation was similar to that at noon. Northwestern cuisine is characterized by large portions, heavy flavors, more meat and less vegetables, and we have leftovers in almost every meal. Therefore, it is recommended to follow the N-1 principle when ordering in Northwest China, and don't learn from us who have big eyes and small belly.

When I went back to the hotel to rest, I was exhausted and paralyzed, so I quickly washed and slept and prepared to leave the next day. Lying on the bed and looking at the ceiling, I laughed like crazy, this store is really creative.

Day 2 Kumbum Monastery—Qinghai Lake

The next day, we gathered early in the morning to start the trip. Originally, the individual passenger group we reported was accompanied by a driver and a car throughout the journey. However, it is said that recently there was an accident with an FIT group and the investigation was tight. The travel agency improvised several FIT groups into a large group of 20 people, and the car was also equipped with a high-end bus. Fortunately, this bus is still very comfortable. The spacious leather seats are equipped with a charging device, so we didn't take out our power bank during the whole process. The quality of the members of the group is also very high, and they were very pleasant to get along with during the next few days of the journey. However, if you are a tourist who is very concerned about large groups, it is recommended to confirm with the travel agency in advance, and you can insist on reporting to disband the group.

It is not far from downtown Xining to Kumbum Monastery. Kumbum Monastery is a famous Tibetan Buddhist temple in Qinghai. Almost all tourists to Qinghai must visit Kumbum Monastery to experience the Tibetan Buddhist culture that is completely different from the mainland.

Special attention is required when visiting Kumbum Monastery. Now you need to wear long-sleeved trousers to enter the temple. It was said that long skirts were allowed in the past, but they are not allowed now. Considering the temperature in Xining that day, we wisely changed into long trousers and jackets, and we were still freezing.

There are many courtyards in Kumbum Monastery, and each courtyard enshrines different Buddha statues with different meanings. You can follow the commentators of different teams to explain the content during the march, and increase your understanding of Tibetan Buddhist culture. The largest courtyard is the hall for all monks to practice their homework. As long as it is not within the practice time, you can go in and visit it. Because of Qinghai's devout support for Buddhism, the inside of Kumbum Monastery is still very resplendent, but it is a pity that photography is not allowed, and various beautiful decorations and paintings cannot be displayed. The most impressive thing is a palace. It is said that all the statues are made of butter, which is really beautiful and shocking.

After visiting Kumbum Monastery, proceed to Qinghai Lake. The peak season for traveling in the Northwest is actually July and August. We really realized the reason for this trip, because the weather in June is changeable, especially because of the high altitude in the Northwest, it is extremely cold and mixed with wind and rain. Departing from Kumbum Monastery to Qinghai Lake is the process of gradually rising altitude. We didn’t feel it in the car. When we got off the car at Qinghai Lake, we would be frozen and cry in an instant. We hurried to the scenic spot to buy shawls and scarves. Although we knew the scenic spot The price is too high to kill customers.

Do a good job of keeping warm, and start wandering in the Qinghai Lake scenic spot, punching in and taking pictures. Mengmeng has repeatedly wanted to take pictures of various scenic spot logos, but unfortunately, next to each logo is a long queue of Chinese aunts waiting for a group photo. The aunts' poses in the photo were extraordinarily enchanting and moving, which stunned the four of us with stiff limbs.

Walked around to the lake, looked at the clear and boundless lake water, took a circle of shadows, and finally couldn't bear the cold and walked back.

For dinner, I ate the Qinghai local hot pot that I hadn't eaten before. As always, it was all meat. Northwest China is really a paradise for carnivores.

    Overnight in Chaka Town.

Day 3 Chaka Salt Lake - Keluke Lake - Emerald Lake

Chaka Salt Lake is a must-see for Douyin fans. Before, we were fascinated by the little red train and the blue sky and white clouds on Douyin. Although the temperature was extremely low after checking, everyone changed into beautiful dresses and prepared to go smug. However, as soon as I entered the salt lake, it was cloudy and there was no sun that day, and I couldn’t see the bubbling white salt mountain and the lake in the sky, and it was all gloomy and gloomy. Even the little train we took was not the same model as Douyin, with wind leaking everywhere and crawling extremely slowly.

The turtle quickly climbed to the center of the lake and got off the car. Wuyang Wuyang was full of people. What was even more frightening was that the temperature was so low. I saw countless beautiful girls taking off their coats and wearing suspenders or tube tops in the cold wind and icy water. Resolute concave shape. It's really scary for women to be beautiful. The cold-faced concubines really couldn't do it. Seeing the tube top girls could only hug their little shawls tightly and shiver.

The wind on the island in the center of Chaka Salt Lake is extremely strong, so you must take measures to keep warm when you go to the center of the lake to take pictures. Our four shawls, scarves and coats were still frozen out. Walking along the salt road on the way back, it will be much better if there is no strong wind like Qinglong Yanyue Dao hitting the face.

On the return trip, I found a lake that resembled the sky to take pictures. Because of the reflection of the lake, if there is sunshine and a professional photographer, you can take a very beautiful reflection.

I also accidentally saw the Mongolian Aobao meeting. The Mongolian men rode dozens of tall horses around the Aobao and shouted. It was really shocking. This is also my obsession with a certain means of transportation after watching Transformers become obsessed with cars... The streamlined muscular lines of the tall horses are really fit, with well-trimmed manes and elegant legs. Broken steps, I really want to raise a horse.

When I was about to leave the salt lake, the sun came out unexpectedly, so I rushed to take a few photos. Under the sun, the salt lake is shining golden, and the salt mountain is white and dazzling. The photos taken can be comparable to blockbuster movies without any retouching. If you are a girl who is very particular about photos, it is recommended to check the weather before going, so as not to take all kinds of weird photos like us.

Leaving Chaka Salt Lake and proceeding to the next journey, passing Keluke Lake on the way, but it is far less beautiful and magnificent than Chaka Salt Lake. It is just a big lake with seagulls and reeds, and the blue waves have no characteristics.

In order to save travel time on the next day, the guide on the road led us to visit the Emerald Lake in advance. Emerald Lake got its name because of its turquoise water, which is as clear as emerald. Although the lake is very small, it has earned a lot of fame. But there are many people in the lake, no matter how you take pictures, there are crowds, and there is no sun shining, so the emerald green lake is inevitably a bit green. Still stiff, he clocked in and boarded the car.

The funniest thing is to ask a young lady who is said to be very good at taking pictures to take a photo with us by the Emerald Lake. The four of us stood upright, and the young lady was a little dazed holding the camera, and asked, "Aren't you making any moves?" We looked at each other, and slowly stretched out two fingers to make a stiff comparison. The young lady's expression was obviously hit by 10,000 points, and she continued to remind us: "You can compare a love~~" The four of us thought about how to compare a love, and left the stiffest love in this journey According to. After taking the photos, we agreed that the young lady's mood was broken.

Overnight in Delingha. I found a restaurant with a high rating. The northern Sichuan jelly, cumin lamb, and large plate chicken are very delicious, especially the large plate chicken, which is bigger than a washbasin, which makes up for the calories we lost during the day.

Day 4 Yardang Landform Group - Petroleum Town - Yangguan Ruins - Dunhuang Night Market

Stimulated by the little sister who took the photo the day before, we decided to avenge our shame. When visiting the Yadan Landform Group, we seized the opportunity of no one on the road and took a super-satisfactory road photo. Although it is still not comparable to the travel photographers, it is already a qualitative leap compared to the previous day. Because of the rain, the ground of the Yadan landform group is full of mud. We didn't care if one foot was deep or the other was shallow. We really worked hard to take pictures! I also really admire those young ladies who can take pictures and go out, let’s change to a warm place next time and go to the concave shape~~

While warming up in the car, the tour guide chatted with us, saying that the last time I pulled two Douyin influencers, real people couldn’t watch them, and some tourists commented that their waists were as thick as buckets, but the photos and videos they took were just No need to be beautiful, there are piles of male fans on Douyin. The four of us have another 10,000 crit in our hearts! It is such an important skill to be able to take pictures and edit pictures, sisters! ! !

In the bleak wind and cold rain, we also went to take pictures of the oil town ruins of the nine-story demon tower. Willing to move, the four of them were frozen into lumps of ice again.

In the afternoon, the focus is on the Yangguan Ruins. The museums at the entrance of the Yangguan Ruins are all newly built in the contemporary era and have little value for visiting. After entering, you can see the real ruins from a distance, an earthen platform on the highest mountain. Around the earth platform, there is a long plank road walking through the desert. At this time, the sun came out, and the sunlight leaked from the clouds and sprinkled on the golden desert, which was quite spectacular.

We climbed to the top of the mountain, and on the way, we ran into a few boys who were probably on a graduation trip, holding their sports coats in a concave shape like drying clothes. It was the first time that we saw tourists who were inferior to our photography skills. We took the opportunity to laugh at others, and even teased the little brother with the red gauze handkerchief and asked him if he wanted props. Both groups of people were laughing and staggering. Unexpectedly, when we climbed to the highest point of the mountain, the little brother actually caught up and really wanted to borrow a scarf, and then continued to pose for drying clothes in the wind. We suddenly understood the collapsed mood of the little sister who took the photo of Emerald Lake that day.

Overnight in Dunhuang, it is said that you can choose to camp in the desert, but considering that it is not convenient for the girls to wash up, we decided to live in the urban area.

Although Dunhuang has a population of only a few hundred thousand, it feels far more prosperous than Xining, just like a modern metropolis. It is only when you walk to the edge of the city and see the towering sand mountains in the distance that you are reminded that this is just a small oasis city in the desert.

The Dunhuang Night Market is even more lively, with rows of shops selling delicacies, accessories, and jade wares, and occasionally lively singing and dancing teams walk through it. As we walked and watched, we felt as if we were in the Western Regions thousands of years ago. At that time, the Silk Road was prosperous, and merchants from the East and the West gathered here, and the business was prosperous. The travelers who came here should have the same mood as us.

Looking for food in the night market, I happened to meet the tour guide and driver, so I entered the same shop. I ordered the famous local apricot skin water in Dunhuang. The sweet and sour taste is very appetizing and thirst quenching. I also ordered local special leafy vegetables, which taste slightly bitter, as well as scrambled eggs with shallots, red willow barbecue, yellow noodles with donkey meat, and stuffed skin with five-color miscellaneous grains. Especially worth mentioning are scallion scrambled eggs and red willow barbecue. When we originally recommended scallions, we were very hesitant. Isn’t it just scrambled eggs with scallions? When it was served, the scallions were extremely tender, sweet and refreshing, not at all the taste of scallions as imagined, and even more delicious than ordinary green vegetables. Since then, I have never forgotten the dish of scrambled eggs with shallots. There is also the famous red willow barbecue, large pieces of mutton are fat and thin, and the red willow skewers are smoked and roasted.

There were all kinds of dried and fresh fruits in the night market. We couldn’t help but swept up a bunch of raisins and cut up a huge watermelon to eat back at the hotel. Mengmeng worked so hard to carry it all the way, it was really a perfect score for caring. I couldn’t hold back on the way, thinking about the puffed oil cake I didn’t eat for dinner, so I stuffed another one, which tasted like a sweet oil cake, filled with honey, sesame seeds, roses, etc. It is delicious, two are slightly greasy. Ruan Ruan and Fairy each have a bowl of yogurt with various dried fruits, which also looks delicious. Feeling the Dunhuang Night Market, the stomach can't stop the rhythm at all.

What's more interesting is the solicitation method in the Dunhuang Night Market. Walking along the street, girls and boys from every shop will come to greet you to eat, chat and laugh with you in various ways. At that moment, I feel that this is really the Western Region, the Western Region The people are really generous and friendly. There is also a poem that pops into my heart: Where did the fallen flowers travel, and laughed into the Orchid wine shop.

Day 5 Crescent Lake - Mogao Grottoes

Because of the good impression I left on Dunhuang the day before, I am full of expectations for the trip to Crescent Lake. I checked the temperature in advance and knew that there would be a big sun. For the sake of beauty, I took out a beautiful white ink painting dress and wrapped it with a red scarf. The soft red dress looked like a dancer from the Western Regions. The cute white dress was refreshing and dazzling, like a fairy I finally overcame the altitude sickness of the previous few days and put on a beautiful floral dress. The four decided to go to the desert to show off their looks.

By car, we arrived at Mingsha Mountain outside the city of Dunhuang. Let’s ride a camel first. Ruan Ruan and I are assigned in a team. I am riding a tall and docile camel. I am afraid of being knocked off by it. I have never dared to touch it. Later, while walking in the desert, I finally mustered up the courage to touch the hump. The Ruanruan camel is slightly shorter, but has lush hair. Compared with my bald camel, I joked that my camel was probably a programmer in the previous life.

We were exposed to the sun in the desert. We applied SPF50 sunscreen and still couldn’t resist it. Our legs hurt and our faces ached from the sun, so we quickly wrapped our heads with gauze scarves. Now I understand why all the girls from the Western Regions have their heads covered. The camel is very bumpy, you have to straighten your waist like riding a horse, and ride half-suspended so as not to be bumped off. Even so, my buttocks still hurt for two days...Friendly reminder, it's best to wear pants when riding a camel, don't be like me, the thighs and buttocks are worn out by the rough cushions, and the next two days are painful to sit on Can't even sit, limping like a disabled person.

Mingsha Mountain rode a round of camels down, and the goblin and Mengmeng went sandboarding and glider motorcycles, but we were directly taken down the mountain by the cheating camel guide. Seeing that Mengmeng's side will take a long time, Ruanruan and I went to Crescent Moon Spring. Crescent Spring is said to be about to dry up. Looking from a distance, there is a green spring in the yellow desert, with the pavilions and pavilions beside it, which is very beautiful.

Bored, I took various selfies with Ruanruan and he took pictures, and finally got a few good-looking photos. I met a young lady who was looking for wireless earphones, but once such things as wireless earphones get into the sand, where can I find them? When entering the desert, you must take all kinds of small objects, otherwise it will really be lost in the sea.

Visit Mogao Grottoes in the afternoon. Mengmeng booked a class A ticket for us in advance, and we can randomly visit eight caves. Guided by the guide lady with an extremely gentle voice, she walked through hundreds of caves in Mogao Grottoes. I visited all kinds of statues and murals from the Sui and Tang Dynasties to the late Qing Dynasty, and I also sighed at the stolen sculptures and murals and the destroyed works of art.

Back to Dunhuang for dinner, I chose an ordinary restaurant at random, and continued to order my favorite scrambled eggs with shallots and a super large portion of cumin lamb and Maoxuewang, which were as delicious as ever. The four of them ate their fill, and were content to wait for the evening performance while blowing the cool evening breeze of Dunhuang.

In the evening, I was recommended by the tour guide to watch the panoramic performance of Dreaming Back to Dunhuang, which tells the love story between the builder of the Mogao Grottoes and the princess who went out of the fortress. The content of the performance is average, but the form is relatively new.

Day 6 Jiayuguan—Zhangye

Continue to be a rainy day. Early in the morning, I reluctantly left Dunhuang by car and headed for Jiayuguan. Because we knew in advance that Jiayuguan is a man-made scenic spot, we did not choose to visit it. Braving the heavy rain, I ate a bowl of hot cumin mutton rice, took a look at the city tower from a distance, and then returned to the car to digest the food safely.

The whole day was basically spent on the road, and at night I arrived at Zhangye Danxia Town to check in, and waited for the next day to visit the Danxia landform and return to Xining.

Day 7 Zhangye—Xining

On the way back to Xining, the temperature began to drop again. After fully armed, enter Danxia Landform Park early in the morning to visit. It is said that this is the location where Zhang Yimou took his three shots, but we never expected that the visit here would be sublimated into a healthy and helpless mountain climbing activity. Panting in the cold wind, I climbed N hills, which is called the so-and-so platform in the scenic spot. It is only by using my rich imagination that I can see the various stone mimics mentioned in the scenic spot. Only the pork belly-like sedimentary landform is somewhat spectacular.

Then continue on your way back to Xining. Along the way, I was deeply shocked by the blue sky and white clouds on both sides of the road and the rolling Qilian Mountains, as well as the faint snow peaks in the distance, and cattle and sheep climbing on the cliffs.

Back to the familiar Xining in the evening, the tour group disbanded in the city, and the rest continued to catch the train or plane. Only the four of us remained in the car to stay in Xining and return the next day.

According to the arrangement, the entire trip is spent in B&Bs or small hotels in remote areas. Due to unstable conditions, they often face problems of insufficient hot water or too low temperature. On the last day, we lived by ourselves, and chose the King of Cost-effective All Seasons Hotel near Mojia Street, so that we could eat and drink more conveniently. The moment I entered the hotel and smelled the fragrance, I was almost moved to tears. Especially at night, there is unlimited hot water, soft and comfortable beds, and clean and tidy sofas. When people collapse into the cloud-like bedding, they are actually enveloped by a great sense of happiness.

For dinner, Delu yogurt is still eaten, and each person has a bowl as a base. Then I went to Mazhong Restaurant to choose a variety of beloved snacks. I can't stand the big fish and meat in the northwest, heavy oil, heavy spicy food and serious mouth ulcers, so I have to drink a bowl of local milk and egg fermented glutinous rice in a gentle manner; Mengmeng misses the taste of vegetables so much, so I ordered a bowl of Malatang; the fairy came and a bowl of beef noodles . I chose for a long time, and ordered a bowl of sheep intestine noodles, which tastes good with spicy peppers and various seasonings, especially with my favorite sweet grains, which is refreshing and delicious. Mazhong Restaurant also sells fresh fruits in slices. We bought two large bowls, and we can eat all kinds of fresh fruits. There is also red willow barbecue here, but I don’t know why it is a bit inferior compared to Dunhuang.

After dinner, I visited a specialty shop on the side of the road and chose some local specialties such as black wolfberry, snow chrysanthemum, and beef jerky. Since our luggage was seriously overweight, we had no choice but to stop and go home to wash and sleep.

Day 8 Xining

At the end of the trip, we joked that we were traveling merchants traveling the Western Regions. Everyone is carrying a full of ethnic scarves, yak jerky, black wolfberry, snow chrysanthemum, raisins, crazy like me and the goblin, and a few bowls of yogurt for consignment... Suddenly it is easy to understand the past. It is not easy for merchants on the Silk Road to travel in the rain.

Ruanruan was the first to set off, heading to the airport early in the morning to catch a flight. The three of us flew in the afternoon and evening, so we decided to go to the famous Sali Hai restaurant recommended by our friends at noon. Walking along the way, except that the sun is still fierce, blue sky and white clouds, it is very comfortable.

Although the restaurants we ate before had delicious food, most of them didn't pay much attention to the environment. Sha Lihai has a bit of style at first glance, the layout is full of exotic style, and it is also very neat and exquisite, and even has a goblet for each person. Thinking that this was the last meal before leaving, we decided to eat meat to the end, and ordered a catty of braised mutton, Tibetan yak meat, scallops, pilaf, sweet fermented grains, and eight-treasure tea.

You don't need to rush the schedule, this time you can enjoy it slowly. The yak meat is slightly salty and spicy, not very recommended; the braised mutton is very good, the onion is sweet, and the vermicelli is strong, but our appetite is too small to finish a catty, and the last half of the pot is full of mutton pieces; carrageenan Unexpectedly, it is a kind of seaweed, which tastes like jellyfish, very refreshing; the pilaf is not the same as that in Xinjiang, and the portion is too much, with half a bowl left per person; the sweet fermented grains and eight-treasure tea are very good, sweet and sour It relieves greasiness and neutralizes the greasiness of various meats very well.

We ate and it was a pity that Ruan Ruan left early and didn't have such a delicious lunch. After a full meal, I took a walk back to the hotel, started to pack up and set off for the airport. Although there were delays on the road, they finally returned to their respective cities at night. Journey to the West has come to an end.

Going all the way west, to sum up:

    My favorite city is Dunhuang. Whether it’s visiting scenic spots or enjoying local cultural delicacies, everything is worth aftertaste, and I highly recommend it;

    The most memorable visits are Chaka Salt Lake and Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring, which are really interesting and different;

    My favorite diet is all kinds of snacks, sweet fermented grains, yogurt, red willow barbecue, apricot skin water, scrambled eggs with shallots, etc., but the Northwest cuisine is mainly beef and mutton. The oil is so spicy that tourists from regions with mild taste may not be able to adapt;

    The deepest impression on the environment is that it is cold and dry. It is really cold in the northwest in June. When the sun is not out, it is often only about ten degrees, so we must take measures to keep warm. When I was out of the sun, I was exposed to the sun. I put on SPF50 sunscreen, and when I got home, I was still tanned. Especially the hands that forgot to apply sunscreen were as dark as African working people. Although it was raining on the road, it was still dry overall. Without the air conditioner turned on, I woke up every morning with the feeling of smoke in my throat and my nose breathing fire. I needed to drink more water and eat fruits;

The most worthwhile souvenirs are beef jerky, black goji berries, raisins, ethnic ornaments, etc. I once thought about buying saffron, but I didn’t know the tricks in the middle, so I still didn’t dare to do it. Other kinds of dried fruits are no problem, and I tasted local fresh and dried fruits, which are really delicious. (Yogurt is also highly recommended if someone dares to fly home yogurt like me, lol)

The final suggestion: Be sure to do a good job of sun protection! I have a cold fair skin that claims to be untanned, but now it is black and full of tears. If you can open an umbrella or cover your head, don't go directly to the sun. Trust me, sunscreen will not work.

The one-week trip ended in a blink of an eye, and I returned home full of memories and packages. We agreed to work hard, earn money, and travel together next year. There are only so many young years, if we don't take the time to enjoy it, we will be old.

Well, a group photo is over.
