Kaili Xijiang Miao Village Tour for 3 days and 2 nights
Prepare
【transportation】
1. Transportation: Kunming-Kaili high-speed rail, Kaili-Xijiang bus [Accommodation] It is not recommended to return to Kaili after visiting Xijiang, the mileage is 36 kilometers, and the environment of Kaili is not bad according to visual inspection!
There is a homestay called "Couple Tree" at the top of the slope at the Limen of Miao Village. The location is not bad, and the store has a semi-panoramic view, haha! (It’s just that the boss is too good at taking pictures, thinking it’s a panorama)
【weather】
14-16 degrees Celsius with rain
It is suitable for T-shirts and sweaters. Down jackets are also available when it rains and cools down at night. It is super cold at night when it is windy.
I originally thought that Xijiang Miao Village was not well-known and hadn’t been developed yet. I only found out after I went there that it was already very commercialized. I didn’t really do a strategy this time.

Compared with Lijiang Ancient Town, the buildings are more original, but most of the villages are settled by foreign businessmen and have been commercialized.
The ancient town of Zhenyuan is a bit like the ancient town of Jianshui in Yunnan. There are many similarities, such as Sifang Well. There are many workshops for brewing wine and tofu near the well. There is an inexplicable sense of intimacy there.

recommended route

Arrive at Xijiang at around 2 pm on the first day. Find something to eat as soon as you arrive. There is a famous sour soup fish hot pot in Kaili at the entrance of the scenic spot. After eating, take a nap in the hotel to refresh yourself Come out and shake.

Let’s take a stroll in the village first. The Miao Village is not big, and the transportation is basically by walking. Friends who live for 1 to 2 days can carry a backpack, and they can’t be dragged up with a hauling box. The road is full of irregular steps, and the communication is developed. But we also basically rely on roaring.

On the way to the Xizhaimen viewing platform, there will be a variety of special snacks, such as: grilled sausages, roasted pork, roasted bamboo shoots, roasted eggs, stuffed rice cakes, sour plum juice, etc.! All are local Miaojia specialty snacks.

Before I went, I browsed the Internet. The night view of Xijiang is so beautiful. I originally planned to have dinner before going out to watch the night view. oh! NO
Blame us for not having a good camera! The night scene captured by the mobile phone is full of fireflies.

It was worthwhile to climb to the top of the mountain to have a look, but when I climbed halfway up the mountain, the whole village suddenly had a power outage, and the two girls did not dare to move an inch.
All right! I stood with her for half an hour, but there was still no call, so I could only silently use my mobile phone to light up and go back to the hotel.
Check out before 12 o'clock the next day. The two lazy girls who are Buddhist tourists wake up naturally at 10 o'clock. After washing and packing, they start to visit the museum and Natural Street with their backpacks. After playing, they can go out of the scenic spot and leave.
15:00 in the afternoon Kaili-Zhenyuan green leather train, 2 hours, fare 6 yuan, so worth it, all the way slowly, all the way to enjoy the scenery, I have to praise the colorful scenery of Guizhou! Just a quick shot is a blockbuster landscape, so beautiful!
Arrive at Zhenyuan Railway Station at 17:00, pass through the new urban area in a few minutes, and enter the ancient city from the new bridge. Zhenyuan is really beautiful, with an unexpected tranquility.
Walking through the stone road in the ancient town, there are Ming and Qing style buildings with blue bricks and black tiles and cornices on both sides. There are many inns and merchants. Bridge", behind the seemingly ordinary station name is the long time in the past, and there must be many stories worth exploring or listening to

Zhenyuan Ancient Town is somewhat similar to Jianshui Ancient Town in Yunnan, both have the same "Tangshi Road" and "Sifang Well", the same tofu workshop and wine shop! It is a pity that I did not taste Guizhou fine wine.

stay:
I didn't book a room with a view of the water. I booked in a special alley full of red lanterns. It was difficult to find the navigation. The first moment I arrived at the store, I was attracted by the big tea tray in the room.

Wow! In such an artistic environment, there is nothing more happiest than having a cup of Pu-erh tea that you can carry with you.
