The design of the Big Oil Bubble is inspired by the unique natural wonders of Karamay Black Oil Mountain. It is the theme sculpture of Ke No. 1 Well.
It skillfully integrates the site of Well No. 1 and the overall square. The work reproduces the oil bubbles of Heiyou Mountain through modernity and visual impact, reflecting the characteristic oil landscape here, symbolizing the far point and starting point of Karamay, and witnessing the development of the oil city through the mirror reflection of the oil bubbles.

In order to carry forward the spirit of hard work, Xinjiang Petroleum Administration Bureau and Karamay City erected a nearly 3-meter-high stone monument in Heiyou Mountain on October 1, 1982, and a statue of an old Uighur riding a donkey and playing Rewap.
