written in front

2018.10, ushered in the second National Day of graduation, I accidentally chatted and asked how to spend the National Day, and decided to take a self-driving tour in the dormitory. Just leave as soon as you say, start to book tickets, make plans, check accommodation, and perform their duties. (There are four people in the dormitory, but because Tugou has just gone to Thailand, money is limited, so there are only three of us girls, plus my ten-year-old niece.)

It is now 2019.01.21. As I was preparing for my next trip, I read a lot of travel notes on Ctrip, so I decided to write down my previous trip to Guizhou, share it with you, and record my life. It's been a few months, so it's understandable not to invite some details. Ha ha

It is said to be seven days, except for the round trip, and the real self-driving is five days. Put an overall plan first (made by our beautiful pan dog)

We went to Guizhou from different places, so I won’t say much about the journey to Guizhou, just start by self-driving.

DAY 1 2018.10.2 Guiyang——Huangguoshu

I ate a bowl of Changwang noodles at the door in the morning. Generally, I have never eaten noodles. If you have never eaten, you can try it.

From the Huaguoshan area to the airport car rental point at eight o'clock, after considering all aspects, I chose Shenzhou Rent a Car, which I rented online in advance. Because it was a holiday, the car rental price increased three or four times, usually about 90RMB, we rented about 350 or so a day, plus insurance and other messes, a total of 2084RMB for five days. Is it a Buick Lavida or something? I don't know much about cars. In short, renting a car during holidays is very expensive.

The two female drivers seldom drove, so everyone quickly fastened their seat belts when they got the car, and the trembling self-driving began. The road to Huangguoshu is still very easy to drive. For us, it is very easy to drive, that is, it is really easy to drive. It is basically a high-speed road with a little bit of traffic jam. The psychological preparation, the result is okay.

But when we were about to drive to Huangguoshu, we were blinded. The car with the navigation door cannot enter! Had to detour from another door. There are many restaurants on the side of the road to attract customers, saying that there is free parking for meals, but because our "local Li Gou" said that it might be a scam, so we decided to go around to another door. You still can’t enter at the other gate. You have to take a sightseeing bus. The sightseeing bus costs 50 people, and there are so many queues. A local “professional guide” brother said, 100 yuan, take us to find a parking lot, and take us in. We had to bow our heads to the "evil forces", and we followed the little brother to find a parking lot. In the end, it is 100 for leading the way, 30 for the parking fee, and 10 for taking a small mountain bike to the door.

Finally arrived at the door, queued for almost half an hour, I don't remember whether the ticket is 160 or 180, the price on the Internet. After entering, everyone stepped on the heels of the people in front of them from the door to Huangguoshu. I walked for about an hour or two, because some people went back and some people went forward, it was very chaotic and crowded. Did not see any staff to maintain order. It's so slow, I can't walk at all. When I finally saw Huangguoshu, I was a little bit disappointed.

Originally, there were still a few scenic spots in the back, but others said that they were too far away, and everyone was too tired to shuttle through the crowds, so they gave up. Returning at about two o'clock, I randomly chose a restaurant on the side of the road to eat. It turned out delicious, but I forgot the name, and it was affordable. So in fact, sometimes unintentional encounters during the journey are more impressive.

We returned to Guiyang that night and settled for accommodation at the rented house of our "local Li Gou". The three of us plus one child had one bed. Hahaha, it must be something we can remember for a lifetime.

DAY 2 2018.10.03 Guiyang - Longli - Libo

I ate a bowl of bean curd noodles at the door in the morning. It was good and recommended.

Guiyang—Longli, the specific time and journey are shown in the previous map. For us outsiders, when it comes to Guiyang, we only know Huangguoshu, Miao Village, and Qikong. I thought Longli was just a stopover point that I had never heard of going to Xiaoqikong. However, this stop was very pleasantly surprised. .

Children do not need tickets, but the program requires money. At that time, we adults bought the ticket plus the cableway. What we forgot was the price. Now there should be prices online. The cableway is definitely necessary, otherwise you can only drive to the top of the mountain. In fact, all the things he plays are on the top of the mountain. To put it bluntly, his base is on the mountain. The cableway is very worthwhile, including up and down, 30 or dozens in the image, very long, very long, you think you have reached the top, but you pass one and another. For me who have never sat before, as well as children, I like it very much.

Project 1, ropeway

Item 2, the glass plank road, seems to be 30 yuan for a separate purchase

I went because it was fresh, and it was not bad.

The weather was not very good, but we had a lot of fun. After experiencing the crowds in Huangguoshu yesterday, it was so much fun today.

Item 3, grass skating, 10 times

Not bad, very exciting, haha, my little niece said she wanted to do it again after she finished skating.

If it rains, you can’t slide. It started to rain when we started selling tickets, so ticket sales stopped. Fortunately, the rain stopped. It is recommended to choose a time when the weather is good, it will be more fun.

Project four, zip line

Because it is less than 90 catties or 80 catties, you can't sit, and there are a lot of people in line, so I didn't sit, and my favorite friends can actually sit.

In short, the oil painting prairie in Longli was still very good the next day.

In the afternoon we drove to Libo and stayed in Libo City, which is near the Big and Small Qikong Visitor Center.

Friendly reminder: Don’t go too late to Xiaoqikong. There is a section of road close to Xiaoqikong, which is very narrow and mountainous.

The night view is good at night, you can hang out after dinner. There is nothing to eat nearby, there are barbecue stalls and stir-fry restaurants, barbecue, really, it's terrible.

DAY 3 2018.10.04 Big and small seven holes - Danzhai

There are not a few steps from where we are staying to the Big and Small Seven Holes. Tickets seem to be eighty or so, and there are no other fees. Because there is no staff to compare with Huangguoshu, the staff inside have done a good service.

You need to buy tickets and sightseeing cars, because the inside is really big. There is nothing to see in the big seven holes, so I walked around, and the small seven holes are bigger. Maybe because the reported expectations are too high, I think it is average, a bit like a park, but the "water flow" inside is really beautiful. Unexpectedly, the big seven holes and the small seven holes are really the seven holes under the bridge.

At two or three o'clock in the afternoon, we were almost ready to leave and head to Danzhai. The weather started to get better, and it was only when I was driving on the road that I saw the beautiful mountains and clear waters, and then I felt like I was driving. Going to Danzhai shows that it is a national highway, but it is actually Panshan. Almost turned over four or five mountains. If I had been told from the beginning that there was a mountain road, we might have rejected it according to our psychological quality and driving skills. In fact, it is okay to climb the mountain. Fortunately, the rental is an automatic transmission.

After driving for a long time, it was almost evening when we arrived. Just like the first day, I found a restaurant at random, and it turned out to be delicious! Probably hungry, lol. Stay in a nice hotel in the county at night, ending the third day.

DAY 4 2018.10.05 Danzhai - Miao Village

After a late sleep, I went to a nearby Wanda town, which is similar to most ancient streets and suitable for wandering. The characteristic is, the birdcage. Various birdcages.

After playing for a while, we plan to go to the nearby town where the birdcages are made to have a look. It is quite close, and it will take a few minutes to drive. In addition to restaurants, every household makes a living by making birdcages. I chose a restaurant that looked like a farmhouse for dinner, and ordered their special "fighting chicken". The boss said that they know how to fight cocks here, and I joked that if I lost the fight, I used it to eat. I didn't expect it to be true.

Originally, this small birdcage should not be expensive, and I wanted to buy one, but after seeing the process of this local man making it, I was surprised that it must not be cheap. Ha ha.

We set off for Miao Village at two or three o'clock, and when we got there, the highway exit was blocked. Because there were too many vehicles, I was forced to go to the next high-speed exit. By the time of the next one, there are still a lot of cars that cannot be driven in. The good thing is that Danzhai provides a commuter bus for free entry and exit. The car is parked on the side of the road and you can go in by bus. (If it is normal, the car should be able to drive directly in)

There is a commentator in Miao clothes on every bus. We asked him to buy a map for five yuan, which is not bad. The bus is delivered to the door (I forgot whether it is the north gate or the west gate), and then we have to walk to the place where the sightseeing bus is made, continue to take the bus, and arrive at the viewing platform, where we can see the panoramic view of Miao Village. Then you can go to Miao Village by car.

Panoramic view of the observation deck

We booked accommodation on the mountainside because we have luggage. When we arrived at the bottom of the mountain, the boss drove to pick us up. I have to say that people who often drive mountain roads have excellent driving skills.

After a short rest, we set off at 7:30 to visit the Miao Village and see the night view. By the way, dinner is instant noodles. Ha ha

This is the Miao Village seen from the inn where we stayed

The Miao Village I saw when I came out at night

DAY 5 2018.10.06 Miao Village

The next day we left our luggage at a relative's house at the foot of the hill at Le Innkeeper. There is a museum about some customs of Miao Village. I also went to see a "sacred tree" that blesses the Miao Village. I thought it was a very lush tree, but it turned out, haha. When we went, there were two song and dance performances a day, free of charge, but you have to queue up, friends who want to watch can ask about the performance time first.

At about three o'clock, we started our return journey.

Regarding traffic jams: Although it is National Day, it is much better than expected. The road to Huangguoshu is a bit congested, and the end of Miao Village is a bit congested. Acceptable blocking.

Expenses: In order to write this travel note, because it took a long time, "local Li Gou" also sent me screenshots of his previous bookkeeping. We are three adults and one child less than 1.3m in height. The basic entrance fee for the child is free. In some places, I pay for the commuter car separately. For the rest of the board and lodging, the "beautiful aunts" don't count children's money. So, do the math, the three of us are about 3,500 per person. Other trinkets bought by yourself are not included. Mainly car rental fees, room fees, entrance fees. If it is not a holiday trip, the first two items will be much less.

Well, this is the first time I write a travelogue, and it’s not really a travelogue, it’s just a narration. It's a good memory too.

You are welcome to ask questions, because I also like to read travel notes on Ctrip to make my own plans, so I am happy to share.
