Keketuohai Town, 54 kilometers away from Fuyun County, is quiet and elegant

The mirror-clear Irtysh River passes through the town

Keketuohai Town is located in the mining area of Altai Mountains

The No. 3 vein here is recognized worldwide

Rare Metal "Geology Textbook" and "Natural Geology Museum"

At the beginning of the founding of New China, a thousand wastes were waiting for prosperity. The No. 3 vein supported the toddler New China with rich mineral resources, and made outstanding contributions to New China's repayment of the Soviet Union's foreign debts and "two bombs and one satellite" research. Today, the huge mine pit and the spiraling downward driveway on the inner wall of the vein remind every visitor that there was a magnificent history here.

Today's Keketuohai has long been unveiled, and the unremitting efforts of generations of people have brought about earth-shaking changes here. In 2013, the Keketuohai mining area became the first national mine park in Xinjiang, and later became a patriotic education base. The mining area has become a scenic spot, and "red" has become the background color here, inspiring the town to keep moving forward.

Keketuohai Mine Park in Fuyun County was successfully selected

Autonomous Region Red Tourism Classic Scenic Spot

At the same time, this set of numbers came into our sight

"111", "40%", "84", "700"

...

"111"

Lode Three was mined from 1950 to 1998. Due to the need for national defense secrecy, the place name "Keketuohai" completely disappeared from the Chinese map for a period of time, and was replaced by the mysterious number "111". It wasn't until the 1980s, when Ke Ke Tuohai decrypted it, that the world learned that such an unknown past happened in a small town in the northwest of the motherland.

"40%"

Ke Ke Tuohai once overdrawn his strong body and straightened the backbone of Chinese workers. In 1960, when China was in a difficult period, the Soviet Union tore up the agreement and demanded that China repay foreign debts within a specified time limit. The country has entered into an extremely difficult period unprecedented since the founding of the People's Republic of China. The Keketuohai mining area immediately launched the "Export Guarantee War" to repay foreign debts. , At the cost of youth and health, the mined ore was transported to the former Soviet Union, repaying more than 40% of the debt of the former Soviet Union for the country.

"84"

The Keketuohai No. 3 vein contains 84 kinds of rare minerals such as lithium, beryllium, tantalum, niobium, and cesium. The beryllium used in China, the lithium used in the successful detonation of the first hydrogen bomb, the cesium used in the first artificial satellite, and the tantalum and niobium used in the joint test of the first nuclear submarine all came from the No. 3 mine.

"700"

Maidi Nasiyi, who was awarded the title of Activist of Youth Socialism Construction in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 1956, worked as a manual miner and blaster. Looking back at that time, he would feel sorry for the fate of his fellow workers. According to statistics, more than 700 loyal bones of builders were buried in Keketuohai.

However, this dusty legend has not been forgotten. In 2014, Keketuohai became the red education base for cadres in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. In 2015, the China Aerospace Foundation awarded Keketuohai the title of "Two Bombs and One Satellite" patriotic education base.

Keke Tuohai was born in Yikuang and Yikuang Xing. Decades ago, Keke Tuohai was silent. Now, Keketuohai Geological Museum wants to tell the world about those passionate years

Walking into the exhibition hall on the first floor of the Geological Exhibition Hall, the statues of mining workers stand upright and radiant, bringing people back to the hard times when they were soaked in sweat and tempered their beliefs.

When talking about the pioneers of the No. 3 vein, the commentator quoted the most words: "We can't suffer the country if we are suffering, we can't hinder the country, and we can't hinder the country." A few slogans written on the wall make that paragraph The magnificent history of struggle has become vivid, inspiring generations of mining workers to continue to struggle.

Walking in the exhibition hall, slogans, old photos, old objects, and pages of documents added a bit of weight to the mysterious time.

The second floor of the exhibition hall displays many old objects, many of which are in the collection of the "second generation of mine" Bahatibek Gasimhan. In 2016, the Geological Exhibition Hall was upgraded. After opening to the public on July 1, 2017, Bahatibek sorted out the old objects and precious materials about Keketuohai, and donated them all to the exhibition hall. Not only that, he also became a volunteer guide in the exhibition hall.

"The older generation of Keke Tuohai people used the light of faith to shoulder the important task of sharing worries and winning glory for the country. This history needs to be remembered by each of us." Bahatibek said that every item in the collection is in the pursuit of cocoa Tohai's history. I hope that through my own efforts, all Chinese people can remember this treasure land that has won glory for the country.
