Early in the morning, we packed up and took the Haizhang Expressway from Zhangbei County to East Wuzhumuqin Banner as planned. The whole journey is more than 610 kilometers, and it is estimated to take 7 and a half hours by car.

It is less than 200 kilometers from Zhangbei to enter Inner Mongolia.

The view is infinitely wide, the endless grassland, the road leading to the sky, the blue sky and white clouds within reach, the flying railway, the leisurely cattle, sheep and camels, the straight poplar trees on both sides of the road, the leaves blown by the wind, Glittering in the sun, like white flowers in full bloom, are all novelties in our eyes and memories in the lens.

Driving on the vast grassland, human beings are incomparably small, and the infinitely changing sky makes people shocked and surging. The Tang Dynasty poet Lingche: "Who knows the meaning of floating clouds, wanders between heaven and earth" comes to mind. How our trip fits this verse.

After 7 o'clock in the evening, we finally arrived at East Ujimqin Banner (to be honest, if it wasn't for this trip, I had never heard of these place names), we found a nice hotel on the main road, checked in, and we We were going to eat a real Mongolian meal, but when the food came to the table, we were stunned again. The bowl full of mutton might not be digested until tomorrow morning after eating it and running on the street. We had to drink the soup and try the mutton and haggis.

After the meal, I bought some fruits on the street, and saved them for tasting on the road tomorrow, and returned to the hotel to rest.

Packed up and ready to go

City Gate of Zhangbei County

After driving less than 200 kilometers, I entered Inner Mongolia

Driving further into the depths of Inner Mongolia is Xilinhot

Clouds and blue sky in the north

highway to sky

The protective belt off the highway is also our background

Leisurely cattle, sheep, camels

This is what is sung in the song: Cattle and sheep are like pearls sprinkled,

Huge wind power stations all over the mountains

The wind made people unable to stand still, but we still had to get out of the car and take beautiful pictures

The flying railway

Huge bowl full of mutton

Grilled lamb chops, delicious cakes
