I remember when I was in high school, I read Baby Annie's book once, and I yearned for the sea in winter. And so many years have passed, but I have never been to the beach in winter.

Accidentally chatted with a friend about it, and she said let's go now!

Although I feel that this decision is a bit sudden, and although I have been to Beidaihe twice this year, the winter sea makes these "thoughs" unimportant.

Thus, a winter seaside holiday began like this.

 

My friend wanted to take her son with her, so she proposed to live in Club Med Joyview.

I always thought this was a hotel only suitable for traveling with children. But I didn't expect that my winter trip to the seaside would become happy and colorful because of this place. Everything I felt in the two days here met all my expectations for this trip in my heart.

Club Med Joyview Beidaihe Gold Coast Resort is located in Aranya Community, Beidaihe, Qinhuangdao City, only 3 hours' drive from Beijing, or take a train to Beidaihe Railway Station and then take a taxi.

Check-in & Room

As soon as we walked into the hotel gate, the staff greeted us enthusiastically, helped us with our luggage, and introduced the location of the room.

When you check in, you will be given a bracelet. This bracelet is not only the room key card, but also the identity card to enter various places such as hotel restaurants and bars.

The hotel has a total of 308 rooms. Since it is a coastal resort, the standard of enjoyment has been raised to the highest level. All rooms are sea view rooms with independent balconies.

The suite I stayed in is spacious and comfortable. You can see the sea from the living room and bedroom, and even the bathtub faces the sea.

You don't need to go to the beach, you can watch the sunrise and sunset, and watch the tide rise and fall by sitting on a deck chair on the balcony. Before falling asleep at night, and when waking up in the morning, you can hear the faint sound of the waves.

When you enter the door, you will see the welcome fruit on the table, and a gift bag with a hat and scarf inside, which is very considerate.

The Mini Bar has a variety of tea bags and capsule coffee machines.

When I went back to the room at night, I found that the staff had already closed the curtains and turned on the night lights. There is a card on the quilt in the bedroom, on which the breakfast is selected and hung outside the door, and the hotel will deliver the breakfast directly to the room the next day.

In the sunny morning, enjoying such a breakfast is full of energy.

Sophisticated all-inclusive holidays are the hallmark of Club Med.

Friends have babies, and we just want to have a simple and relaxing weekend, so the all-inclusive model is perfect for us.

The hotel has three restaurants. Yijing International Restaurant has a lot of international cuisine, and Yiran Restaurant provides Western-style lunch and dinner. My favorite is The Kitchen Asia Select Restaurant. It's Halloween and the place has been well decorated.

All kinds of delicacies, from staple foods to desserts and fruits, are delicious, and there is also a special children's gourmet area.

The restaurant faces the sea, and there are singers in residence.

The Yi Bar on the first floor is a very comfortable leisure bar, with fine wine, coffee, and various juice drinks.

You can sit at the bar and watch the waiters prepare various drinks.

You can also go to the rest area next to it, nestle on the sofa and watch the sea and enjoy it slowly. Warm tones cut off the chill outside the window.

1. Kids Club

As the name suggests, this is for little ones.

There are different activities for children of different ages, and the staff will accompany and take care of them throughout the process.

Highly praised by friends for the child care service offered here. She "packed and stored" her son here, and then went to eat, drink, have fun and take yoga classes with me, having fun and having fun, haha~

2. Circus School

This is a magical existence that requires "highly difficult skills", such as aerial rings, trampolines, balance balls, juggling... There are various items that discourage me.

3. Sports

The yoga class was something I had planned to attend before I came. I came to the classroom early in the morning and did 50 minutes of yoga under the guidance of the teacher, and my whole body felt much more comfortable.

Now there are hot spring pools suitable for winter, and swimming pools with comfortable water temperature.

Very beautiful bicycles, there are uniformly organized cycling activities every day, and there are bicycles for adults and children.

5. Entertainment

The hotel has a variety of themed performances every night, and we went there just in time for the Halloween PARTY.

The hotel staff dressed up as various monsters and ghosts, and staged a wonderful and frightening SHOW.

The children screamed excitedly and danced and interacted with the zombies, but I hid aside and was terrified...

After the performance, the hotel also organized children to draw masks and play games together. I am so happy to be a child, I never know what sorrow and trouble are.

The Aranya community where the hotel is located has a very rich landscape for leisure and vacation. Although this is my third visit to Aranya this year, I still haven't visited every part of the community.

You can walk to the beach quickly from the hotel. The beach that has been lively for a whole summer is no longer blazing and bustling. At this moment, the sea in winter is not as bright and clear as in summer, but it is more remote and quiet.

Standing on the cold seaside, the sea breeze is blowing, the blue in front of me makes me want to shout loudly. But my heart was unusually calm, and the haze accumulated in a certain corner of my heart seemed to slowly dissipate with the sound of the waves.

Perhaps this is the charm of the winter sea depicted in the book.

Landmark building - Lonely Library.

Another landmark is this white church. The previous two times it was crowded with tourists, but this time it was finally quieter.

Leave the beach and walk into the Aranya community. The coldness of early winter is not thorough enough, and the thick autumn colors have not faded.

Art Center and Dune Art Museum need to buy tickets, and there are many art exhibitions.

How extravagant the scenery here is, even the artworks are facing the sea.
