It’s been a long time since I updated my travelogue, hello everyone, here is the rabbit who can only use a fool’s mirrorless camera for taking pictures, and only use Meitu Xiuxiu for editing pictures. In fact, this trip was before the National Day in 2020. It took me a year to start recording my trip to Dali. This lazy cancer is really hopeless.

It feels like time flies. 2021 is almost over. I have been out of work for half a year. I originally planned to take a short trip before starting a new job, but it was delayed due to the outbreak of the epidemic in Guangzhou. I took advantage of writing this travel note It's hard work, and by the way, let's take a trip back to Dali.

I went to Dali once during my graduation trip in 2018. At that time, I only stayed in Dali for less than two days, leaving a lot of regrets. This time, I planned a trip before the National Day, and Amway came to my dream together with the male ticket. The land of Dali, here to make up for the regret of staying in Dali.

This trip only arranged for Dali. We stayed in Dali for 8 days. It was a relaxed and comfortable journey. There was no stressful rush, nor did we follow the trend to go to the popular spots on the Internet. It was a very slow-paced journey.

After talking for so long, I finally got to the point. Let me talk about our itinerary first:

DAY1 Guangzhou - Kunming (night flight)

DAY2 Kunming - Dali - Petal Sea

DAY3 Xizhou

DAY4 Xizhou - Shuanglang - Little Putuo

DAY5 Shaxi Ancient Town

DAY6 Zhoucheng - Wuwei Temple - Tea Garden - Jizhao Temple

DAY7 Xizhou - Dali Ancient City

DAY8 Dali Ancient City

DAY9 Dali - Kunming

DAY1 Guangzhou - Kunming

Generally speaking, I will not write in the travel notes that do not involve travel on the day of departure. In order to save myself a lesson, I want to write in the travel notes and tell myself not to be greedy for cheap hotels near Kunming Airport again! Really invincible pit.

We departed from Guangzhou at 10:00 p.m. and arrived at Kunming Airport at around 1:00 p.m. We booked a hotel near the airport and said that there is a shuttle bus that can be sent to the hotel, and the next day we can also send it to the subway from the hotel, only 100 The price of more than 1 yuan made my heart beat. Who knew that this was the beginning of the Tiankeng.

When we got off the plane and arrived at the designated waiting place, we found a lot of people. We called and said that there would be a car soon. We waited for almost an hour and saw the car coming to pick us up. Who knew there were so many people there I am also waiting for this bus, it is the kind of minivan, everyone rushes to grab a seat, because the bus leaves and I don’t know when the next bus will leave, everyone has so much luggage, they are always crowded, we There is no place to sit, so I can only stand in the car with my luggage. I thought it was quite close. After all, it was a hotel near the airport. Who knows, it seems that I drove for more than half an hour and entered a small village. The only traffic is this kind of car. I almost thought I was trafficked.

After finally arriving at the hotel, I had to queue up for registration. I had to wait until 3 o'clock to get to the room. I was overwhelmed when I entered the room. I was really overwhelmed by the environment. There was no hot water in the middle of the night. It was quite cold in Kunming at night in October. Yes, it was raining that day, and it really broke down.

This is the room arranged for us. Hey, I feel sorry for myself, so I can only make up for one night and leave here early tomorrow.

DAY2 Kunming - Dali - Petal Sea

I didn’t sleep well one night. I woke up in the morning and found that it was raining. I was shivering in the cold in Kunming without the sun. We first took the shuttle bus to the airport, and then took the subway to the subway station. We miscalculated the time, which made us almost miss the high-speed train to Dali .

I still remember that there was no high-speed train from Kunming to Dali in 2018. At that time, I took a hard seat for one night to go to Dali. I once again lamented the speed of China's high-speed train. Now I can get to Dali in 2 hours, and there are many trains, which is really comfortable.

My regret in Dali before was that I didn’t live in an inn by the sea. I enjoyed the pleasure of seeing the sea when I got up early in the morning. Considering the soaring housing prices in the few days of the National Day, I arranged a sea view room for the next day and chose an Internet celebrity inn. Take a good rest at the inn today.

Let me show you the room I live in. Although it's not a sea view room, it's okay. The service here is very good. The entire inn is surrounded by flowers, which is very comfortable.

It also rained in Dali today, the sky was gloomy, and I couldn’t see the blue sky. I took a good rest in the room, and took a stroll in the inn to take pictures before the sun had completely set.

The weather is not beautiful, and there is no light in the evening, but I still took a few photos, all relying on post-processing.

At that time, the road was being built at the entrance of the inn, and there was no way to walk, so the photo was a bit ugly, which is a pity

The night is getting late, I hope there will be good weather tomorrow, and I will have dinner at the restaurant of the inn tonight~~~

Good night~!

DAY3 Sea of Petals——Xizhou

Today I slept until I woke up naturally. As soon as I opened the curtains, I could see the Erhai Lake not far away. Good morning, Dali!

The inn includes breakfast, or a small self-service style. A good day starts with a delicious breakfast.

Yunnan rice noodles can be eaten no matter how you make them, I love them so much.

Today's weather is also very average, but in the morning, the light is more than last night, and I started to take pictures at the inn again

The garden on the first floor is really beautiful. There are flowers at the door of every room. I really put my heart into it.

There is a beautiful glass landscaping on the rooftop. In the morning, if no one is there, it’s all mine.

Due to our unattractive looks and poor photography skills, we didn't play here for a long time, and then we set off at the inn in Xizhou.

I still remember that in 2018, I originally wanted to start from the ancient city of Dali and ride a small electric car to go wild on the Huanhai Highway. Who knew that because of the poor technology, I barely exhausted my energy and stayed in Xizhou For a short time, I fell in love with it. There were no bustling tourists. At night when the tourists receded, Xizhou regained its tranquility. Walking among the fields, I felt the beauty of this ancient town.

We lived in Xizhou for the next few days, which was the most comfortable few days of this trip. By the way, this time I stayed at the "Dali Wuwa Inn" in Xizhou. It is very close to the center of the ancient town. The inn has a sense of design. There are three cats in it. Every night, I can pet the cats, which is full of comfort.

Back to the topic, we arrived at the inn around noon. We were the only ones staying in the entire inn a few days before the National Day. It felt like contracting the entire inn. A Dali restaurant with a very good rating. The restaurants here are all family workshops, with a front shop and a backyard. They are very smokey, and the price is also affordable.

The group purchase of four dishes seems to only cost more than 60 yuan. They are all Dali's special dishes and they are very delicious. After eating and drinking enough, I went back to the inn to rest, and slept until 3 o'clock in the afternoon before getting up to go shopping in Xizhou Ancient Town.

Walking from the inn to the center of the ancient town, you can see most of the attractions at once. The first stop came to Xilinyuan, a very old-fashioned Bai nationality building. Except for the courtyard on the first floor, which is open to visit, the other areas are accommodation and restaurants.

From Xilinyuan, there is a sea of rice fields. The yellow wall of Xilinyuan and the rice fields form the symbolic scenery of Xizhou.

During the photo shoot, it started to rain a little. After the rain stopped, the gray sky finally revealed its original clean blue color. I hope that the surrounding sea will be accompanied by blue sky tomorrow.

Walk along the main road to the center of the ancient town and enjoy the time of wandering in the ancient town.

Tired of shopping in the ancient town, I packed chicken shredded noodles and Xizhou Baba and went back to the inn for dinner. After the meal, I ran out for a walk. There were no busy tourists during the day, and Xizhou seemed peaceful and beautiful at this time.

The corner building that needs to be lined up to take pictures during the day, no one is fighting with me now hahahaha, good night Xizhou

DAY4 Xizhou - Shuanglang - Little Putuo

After a good night's sleep, I am going to rent a small electric motor to go to Shuanglang today. When I woke up early in the morning, I found that the clouds had all dispersed. Today is a good day.

From the door of the room, you can see the salmon and Xiaobai waiting at the door, which is really healing.

Passing by that beautiful paddy field again, today's sunshine is just right

Before the tourists come, check in the corner building quickly, otherwise there will be no chance

There is a shop for renting electric cars at the entrance of Xizhou Ancient Town. It costs 60 yuan a day to rent. With two batteries, it can travel more than 100 kilometers. We drove from Xizhou to Little Putuo and returned with a lot of electricity left.

Let's go, now I can drive a small electric car, and the two of us will not be so tired if we change the car. It's really far from Xizhou to Shuanglang.

The blue sky is really beautiful. You can enjoy the scenery while driving. The only disadvantage is that it is too sunny. Remember to protect yourself when riding a small electric car.

Huanhai Road, all the way

About an hour or so after driving, we finally arrived at Shuanglang, where we can see Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake

I didn’t make a strategy for the Huanhai Highway, and I don’t know which section follows which section. From Xizhou to Shuanglang, it seems that there is no section around the sea. After lunch in Shuanglang, I decided to continue to go to Little Putuo. Let’s come to Dali. The Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, and there are traditional mooncakes sold in Dali everywhere. We went to taste it, and it was not a taste I could accept.

Walk along the road all the way to Little Putuo, and come to a place where you can overlook the double corridors. You can see Cangshan Mountain on the opposite side. It is indeed the first town of Canger scenery.

Alright, let’s go on. After passing through Shuanglang, there is a long section of road around the sea. The Erhai Lake is right next to it. It’s the first time to see the sea from such a close distance.

After driving for a long time, I finally arrived at Little Putuo. It’s a very small island. You can see it at a glance. There are temples on it, and you can pay the fee for going to the island. Then the boatman pulled the boat up. I watched this pocket island for a long time

After resting for a while, I will return to Shuanglang for dinner and eat the mushroom hot pot that the male ticket has been thinking about.

The return journey is still accompanied by beautiful scenery.

I bought a 188 mushroom hot pot set meal in a group purchase. I can say that this is the best hot pot I have ever eaten. I don’t know how to say it. When you come to Yunnan, you must try mushrooms. It’s delicious.

After tasting the delicious mushroom hot pot, I feel that life is a little more complete hahaha, I will go back to pet cats

After the sun went down, Dali became very cold. I forgot to add a coat when I went out today. I almost froze myself to death on the small electric. I hope I don’t catch a cold tomorrow.

Xizhou is so quiet at night, there is not even a single lamp, and I have to use my mobile phone to light the lights on the way back. There is no noisy nightlife like Dali Ancient City here, and it is the small town life I yearn for.

DAY5 Shaxi Ancient Town

A few years ago, in order to do a strategy of Yunnan, I specially bought a lonely plant Yunnan to see. Although there are no beautiful pictures, in the process of reading the text, I have already planted grass in Shaxi. This time I booked a small one-day tour of Shaxi Let's take a look at this beautiful town.

It takes 2 hours to drive from Xizhou to reach Shaxi, and there is still a long section of winding mountain road, so I dare not drive without any skills.

Shaxi used to be an important station on the ancient tea-horse road. With the decline of the ancient tea-horse road, it was gradually forgotten. But because of this, now Shaxi is quieter and more primitive, and better retains the style of the tea-horse town in the past.

Our first stop was to come to the home of Ma Siye, the leader of the caravan. It is a small museum. It is managed by Ma Siye’s family. It is very hospitable and hospitable to tourists who come to Shaxi. Experienced a classic caravan meal.

Leaving Ma Siye's house, we went to Shaxi Ancient Town. This time, we are a small group of independent travelers. The tour guide will not follow us. We will go shopping by ourselves when we reach the entrance of the ancient town.

It seems that time will not pass here, and everything retains the original appearance. Although it has been renovated, it also retains the original atmosphere very well. There are fewer tourists, and they are all the breath of life of the locals. Walking in this old place The post station on the Ancient Tea Horse Road is more comfortable than in Xizhou. Next time I come to Dali, I want to live quietly in Shaxi for a few days.

Strolling in Shaxi, strolling, wandering, unknowingly arrived at the assembly time, we set off to drink tea in the tea room on the mountain.

It's getting late, and it's time for the return trip. See you in Shaxi. If you have a chance, come and stay for a few more days to experience the comfort of this small town.

On the way back, the driver took another road. It is said that it is a newly opened express road from Dali to Shaxi, which is much faster than the one we came to. It will be convenient to come to Shaxi in the future, and it is not so steep.

On the way back, I saw a beautiful reservoir

DAY6 Zhoucheng tie-dyeing - Wuwei Temple praying - tea picking in the tea garden - fasting meal in Jizhao Temple - ancient tea-horse road

When you come to Dali, you have to experience a tie-dye with local characteristics. You can use natural plants to dye beautiful patterns. The works made through tie-dye are unique in the world. It is impossible to guarantee that the tie-dye by hand is exactly the same. , to make a tie-dye of your own.

Our tie-dyeing class has started. The teacher will first explain the history and types of tie-dyeing, and then each person will make a piece of cloth. You can use the traditional method to tie the patterns one by one, or you can use the new creative method to create your own. For creative tie-dyeing, I chose needle piercing, which will be very slow. When they are already dyeing, I am still slowly embroidering patterns.

The little stupid elephant I drew is not cute

After embroidering the pattern, you can ask the teacher to help you take up the thread, and then dye it by yourself. The dyeing time depends on the time, and the effect of dyeing at different times is different.

Let’s show the works of our group. I saw my little stupid elephant, isn’t it super cute?

After the tie-dyeing, we set off to Wuwei Temple. We have to climb a long staircase to get there. The stairs are still very slippery, and the temperature in the mountains is lower than that outside. It is really easy to fall, so be careful

The little brother of the tour guide also took us to the pool behind the temple to get water. It is said that this spring water can dispel the plague in Dali that year, and it is from the Fuquan.

After getting the water, we set off to the tea room on Cangshan Mountain. Here we can experience tea picking, tea making, and tea tasting. It was opened by an old Taiwanese couple. They are very hospitable and can joke, which is very interesting.

In the tea garden, you can see the Erhai Lake not far away. It’s so beautiful to live here.

Under the guidance of the boss, the two of us took a few group photos, which were not many on this trip.

start picking tea

We experienced making green tea. The tea made by ourselves is very meaningful, and it can be taken away by one person. It’s so fun

Next stop, we set off to Jizhao Nunnery to have a vegetarian meal. Before we went, we knew that this was the most beautiful nunnery, but there were a lot of people during the National Day holiday.

On the way to Jizhao Nunnery, passing Gantong Temple, it is a long mountain road

It's finally here. Jizhao Nunnery is full of succulents, the environment is quite big, and it's very clean. It's really beautiful

The vegetarian food here is really delicious, it seems to be 20 yuan per person? (I forgot the specific price), you can use cash or WeChat, but the Internet on the mountain is not good. There are many vegetarian dishes, and you can take as much as you want. They are all made of fresh local ingredients, and all of them are delicious. Just a reminder, Waste here is not allowed, not even a single grain of rice is left.

It's all vegetarian dishes. It's the first time I think vegetarian dishes are so delicious. It's the best vegetarian meal I've ever eaten, bar none

After the vegetarian meal, you can take pictures in the nunnery. It was the first time I saw so many kinds of succulents, and succulents as big as the steering wheel. It was an eye-opener.

Coming down from Jizhao Temple is the entrance of Cangshan Park. There are many cableways in Cangshan. I didn’t know the difference, so I took a photo at the foot of the mountain and counted it as a check-in.

The last stop was the Ancient Tea-Horse Road near here. Since I had been to the Ancient Tea-Horse Road in Shaxi yesterday, I was not very interested in it.

Today's one-day tour is really fulfilling. I have experienced something I have always wanted to experience. Today's friends are very interesting haha

DAY7 Xizhou - Dali Ancient City

Today is the last day in Xizhou. In the afternoon, I set off to Dali Ancient City to stay for two days. I got up early today to see the beauty of the rice fields that I can’t bear.

Wanton photoshoot haha

The weather is so nice. I have contracted a large paddy field. I really recommend you to live in Xizhou. In the early morning, no one rushes to take pictures

Today's breakfast is pea flour. At first, I thought how delicious this bowl of something I don't know. It's really delicious after trying it.

After breakfast, go back to the inn to pack your things, and pet the cat by the way, it’s comfortable

For lunch, try the super-rated yak hot pot near the inn. Sure enough, the delicious ingredients can be made delicious with simple cooking methods

The original plan was to stay in the ancient city of Dali for one night today, and then go to Kunming for one night on the eighth day. After visiting Kunming, after staying in Dali for so many days, I suddenly felt a little bit reluctant, so I canceled the plan to go to Kunming for a day. However, there was no room in the previously booked inn to book another day, so I canceled the order and changed to another inn to stay for two consecutive days.

Since the inn rooms in the ancient city during the National Day holiday were tight and expensive, I hurriedly got off a cheap inn without looking carefully. Now that I think about it, I really want to beat myself to death. Demining everyone, there are so many inns in the ancient city, don't come to the "Dali Jingli Inn", Jukeng, we booked a big bed room, there is no reception staff, there is the sound of mahjong when you enter the door, no one is there Reasonable, the room is rotten, there are no slippers, the faucet in the bathroom is broken, and it leaks, the room next door is that kind of multi-person room, it is still noisy after 5 o'clock in the middle of the night, and it is impossible to rest, everyone, please don't come here.

I wanted to stay comfortably for two days, but I was in a bad mood because of this broken inn. In the evening, I canceled my plan to visit the ancient city. During dinner, I used Ctrip to search for a few inns with vacancies and lower prices. Going to go and see if it's any good.

I wanted to go to the rice noodle shop I visited before to eat a big bowl of Guoqiao rice noodles. Who knew that there were too many people today, so I had to give up and went to the Qiaoxiangyuan chain rice noodle shop. It looked good, but it was really not good. eat.

After dinner, we started our trip to see the inn. We chose an inn with two dogs, two small buildings, and a big garden. I recommend you to come and live here.

Tonight is the Mid-Autumn Festival, I can only spend it in that broken inn, feeling depressed

DAY8 Dali Ancient Town

Early in the morning, we hurriedly checked out of the broken inn, dragged our luggage to Moshanggui, and began to catch up on sleep until noon to make up for yesterday's bad mood. There is a very distinctive restaurant next to the inn, called "Awang Private Kitchen". It is a private restaurant without a menu. You can go to the kitchen to see what you want to eat, and just talk to the boss. The price is also very reasonable and the taste is good. We followed the top list on a review.

After eating, go back and pet the dog, take a nap, and then go out to visit the ancient city of Dali. I still remember that in 2018, I went to the ancient city of Dali for a day and finished shopping. I still remember how to walk some main roads, so there is nothing to say Yes, just wait for Ayong, who has never been to Dali, to visit the ancient city

There are so many people in the ancient city. We left the ancient city. Today is the market day on Sanyue Street. It’s a pity that we couldn’t get up and didn’t go to join in the fun, so we picked a Dai restaurant on Sanyue Street in the evening and tried hand-picked rice.

Walking down Sanyue Street, you will arrive at Cangshan Gate, an area I have never been to before.

The ancient city is still so lively at night, and now I begin to miss the tranquility in Xizhou

DAY9 Dali - Kunming - Guangzhou

Today is the last day in Yunnan. We flew back to Guangzhou after 6 o'clock in the evening, so we still have some time to visit the ancient city in the morning, buy some things to use as credit, and bought a beautiful tie-dyed cloth bag at a small stall. so happy.

Goodbye, Yunnan, I also saw the beautiful sunset on the plane, it is really beautiful here, looking forward to the next encounter.
