The initial suggestion of the reception agency was to change the afternoon itinerary to Suobuya Stone Forest.
Stone Forest is too ordinary, not what I want, I propose to change to Pingshan Grand Canyon, which is the Internet celebrity attraction of the half-empty floating boat.
The biggest problem with Pingshan Canyon is that the distance is too long, and it takes 8 hours to drive back and forth. The place name of Luyuanping comes from a legend. It is said that people from the Pei family in Taoyuan County, Changde Prefecture, Hunan Province moved to Banqiao Xintian, Beixiang, Enshi County, Nanfu Prefecture, and tried to sow with Hunan rice. Overgrown, with no way to follow, there are thirty-six pieces of white cloth hanging down from the cliff, with towering peaks, a river flowing in the middle, and hundreds of steps along the river. Luyuanping is located in Banqiao Town, Enshi City, within the Enshi Grand Canyon Development Zone, with an average altitude of 1,700 meters. The ground fissures here are very deep, and I feel dizzy when I look down and look at it. It should be hundreds of meters deep, and it is extremely steep. His legs were sore and weak, and his body didn't dare to approach the outer railings. He could only cling to the mountain wall tremblingly and cautiously. After walking hundreds of steps like this, there was still a long way to go to the bottom of the valley.
Under the test of fear of heights, after going back and forth on several zigzag plank roads, we finally arrived at the well-known Luyin Spring. A ray of silver spring poured down from between the two peaks, and fell into the stream with a rushing sound. So far, we have walked through the most dangerous section of the plank road.
Although the scenery is beautiful, time is not allowed to stay for too long, take a short break and move on.
Almost down to the bottom of the valley, the terrain tends to be flat, and you can see the rivers flowing in the mountain stream and various strange landforms at close range. On a sign marked "Xuanlu Ground Crack", it is written: Xuanlu Zhe, a two thousand-year-old god Deer hide deep in the ground. In times of war, they use their antlers to guard them, and in times of disaster, they use their antlers to save them. This passage explains the origin of Xuanlu Seam.
After a long walk on the cliffs of the mountain stream, and after passing through a difficult ascending stone steps, suddenly there is a vast expanse in front of you, and you come to the exit of the Xuanlu Ground Fissure Ring Road.
There are no less than 2500 steps up and down from the Four-fold Waterfall to the Xuanlu Ground Fissure. Moreover, at least half of these steps are on the cliff, which is much more dangerous than the 1,700 steps down to Luyuanping.
Walking out of the seam of Xuanlu and returning to the place where we started to cross the river, there are only two words to feel, that is: shocking! Lichuan is located in the southwestern border of Hubei, bordering Shuyu in the west, Enshi in the east, Xiaoxiang in the south, and the Three Gorges in the north, bordering four counties and two districts of Chongqing.
