Monologue

Please give me the tenderest reason to forgive the world that I love so much that almost killed me.

Ma Liang-"Confession" is dedicated to the idealism that dares to face disillusionment.

If I hadn’t been in Beijing for the past six months, I would never have known that the summer in Beijing in 2018 was so hot and humid with plenty of rain, just like the summer in my hometown.

This change happened too fast, there were only three days since I was notified by the company to come here to work in the imperial capital, such a lastminute surprise, I think it would be extremely unpleasant for compatriots with type A blood.

But when you leave your habit circle, whether active or passive, you will embrace a wider world. All kinds of happiness, sadness, anxiety, embarrassment, and mixed flavors are the most direct and naked emotional feedback from your heart after facing the most real aspects of life as an independent individual.

I still yearn for the loneliness and frightening freedom in Iceland, I still worship the simple and exquisite life, and I still believe in the free and useless soul; and these things I have experienced, big and small, let me know-help me to be more Clearly know what kind of person you are, what you like, what you yearn for, what you believe in; what you don't agree with, what you don't appreciate, and what you reject. I don't want to live clearly and profoundly at all times, but I want to live freely, with wind in my eyes, love in my heart, and no regrets.

I am grateful for everyone I have met during this time. Your care and help warm me up in this strange city and make me willing to believe in all the good things in this world and believe in tomorrow.

I would like to use this travel note to commemorate my 100 years in Beijing and dedicate it to my favorite family and the most precious friends.

The most effective place to seek marriage in Beijing | Guangji Temple

Address: No. 25, Fuchengmen Inner Street, Xicheng District

Bus: Line 6 Ping'anli bicycle or walk

Tagging: Control of Religious Buildings

On August 5, 2018, the 17th day in Beijing, I finally settled down.

I didn't expect the summer in Beijing to be so hot in 2018, and I didn't expect that the first stop on the first weekend when I was free was Guangji Temple.

It is said that Guangji Temple is the most effective place to seek marriage in the capital. Of course, this is not the reason why I chose this place as my first stop.

I have just gone through a series of turmoil in finding a house, and I am exhausted. I want to find a quiet place to slow down and take a rest.

The facade of Guangji Temple is not big, but when you walk inside, there are many caves. The red temple is really beautiful under the direct sunlight.

Guangji Temple is the seat of the Chinese Buddhist Association, and the incense is very prosperous, and there is an endless stream of pilgrims.

But after all, it is not my own ashram, and I want to use a camera to record more. The faithful men and women in the temple worship the Buddha devoutly in the hot summer.

The power of belief is always simple and pure, and it reaches people's hearts directly.

As an outsider, I am fortunate to be able to record these moments, which made my wandering heart feel peaceful, and washed away the heat in this steamy summer.

Great Hermitage in the City | Xishiku Catholic Church and 1901 Cafe

Address: No. 33, Xishiku Street

Bus: Line 109/101/Line 6 Beihaibei by bike or on foot

Note: Not far from Guangji Temple, you can arrange the itinerary in one day.

Tagging: Hidden in the city's petty bourgeoisie; coffee addicts; religious building control

Hidden in the city, I met a very elegant cafe - 1901Cafe on the street of Xishiku Catholic Church

No. 101, Xi'anmen Street, is a baroque three-story old house, built in 1901, formerly known as the office of Xishiku Catholic Church.

Having lived in the imperial capital for more than ten days, Fu Dimo said that for the first time he found a little bit of hometown feeling here, petty bourgeoisie and quiet.

Now I gradually like Beijing.

Leaving aside some special obsessions, for a completely unfamiliar place, I can’t help but look for the shadow of my past life, or the shadow of my hometown, and then gradually adapt to the plants and trees here, and gradually fall in love with it. The trivial daily life in this strange environment. I like this place not because I am tired of the place I used to live in, but because this is where I live at this moment. Facing the unknown future caused by the unfamiliar world, I am still willing to face these uncertainties with the same attitude as before. I am still willing to believe that as long as I live with my heart, a beautiful world will meet me unexpectedly. Because these imprints on my character were taught by the city where I lived for more than 20 years. This is what I suddenly realized after leaving this land, and I have always been very proud of it.

Coffee 1901, our specialty coffee, 30ml of 20% Mexican liqueur, the sweetness of the wine is not like sugar, but more mature aftertaste.

Enjoy a cup of lightly sweet iced coffee on a hot summer day.

We chose to sit in the attic on the third floor. There were very few people, and the big sofa could wrap us all up, which made us feel safe and comfortable.

The bookshelves are full of books from the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the former Soviet Union, which adds a lot of retro feeling.

Rest until 2:30 in the afternoon, and the Xishiku Catholic Church is open to the public. At the end of the path is the entrance to the church.

A quiet place in the downtown area with few tourists.

Never thought that the imperial capital would have such a scene.

In my impression, it didn't rain that day, but for some reason there was a puddle of watermarks on the ground, and it felt like the Taj Mahal in a trance.

The church stands in front of me, and there are two Chinese-style pavilions next to it, so the combination of Chinese and Western can be said to be very interesting.

The church was renovated in 2016 and has not yet been completed.

The interior of the church still has a strong smell of newly renovated, but there are still many believers worshiping.

Beautiful glazed glass.

Church exterior.

It is a church worth admiring. In my impression, there are no such western buildings under the root of the imperial city. I am very happy to see it with my own eyes today. The most important thing is that there are few people and no tickets are charged~

The bookstore in the courtyard | Zhengyang Bookstore with easter eggs

Address: No. 43, Xisi South Street

Bus: Line 4 / Daxing Line Xisi Subway Station

Tagging: Hutong Quest; Bookstore Control; Miao Mi Jiang

Zhengyang Bookstore is located in the courtyard, at the entrance of Zhuanwa Hutong, and is called Jingweier Bookstore by many media. It specializes in publications and creative works related to old Beijing culture.

In the middle of the courtyard is an 800-year-old Wansong old man's pagoda. It is the only existing green brick pagoda in Beijing. The walls are covered with various old maps and many ancient door frames are displayed.

The maps of Zhengyang Bookstore are very distinctive. There are meticulous maps of sub-districts, retro hand-painted maps of the second ring road, and maps pasted on the walls are available in the store.

The old house beams and doors that were demolished before are hung on the walls of the courtyard, with woodcut patterns, cracked and faded, which are the most authentic traces left by the years.

The room in the courtyard is converted into a bookstore.

More characteristic and recommended bibliography display

The last row is the map~

The bookshelf on the opposite side is full of old bibliographies, which can be borrowed with a card.

When you walk into the yard and lower your gaze, you can catch the unscrupulous and lazy kitten on the ground. The sleeping position is really cozy and attractive~

【Travel Easter Egg】

Near Zhengyang Bookstore is Gangwa City Hall. Because it is very close, I took a detour to take a look. It is a very simple and big house, somewhat like the auditorium in elementary school.

Meet the drizzle afternoon in Yangmeizhu Xiejie

Address: Yangmeizhu Xiejie

Coordinates: Near Dashilan, near Qianmen Station of Line 2

Tagging: Alley Quest; Coffee Addicts

I don’t know if there is some kind of arrangement in the dark. On February 20, 2018, I traveled to Beijing with my girlfriends during the year. On July 20, 2018, I came here again.

This is my second visit to Yangmeizhu Xiejie. At the beginning of the year, because I was delayed for too long in Laoshe Teahouse, I had to give up when it was dark at the beginning of the stroll.

For some reason, the rain in Beijing in 2018 was particularly plentiful. When I came here for the second time, just after visiting Rabbit Master, there was a continuous drizzle. Coupled with the overcast sky, there was an illusion of a water town in the south of the Yangtze River.

Go to soloistcoffee nearby to shelter from the rain.

Soloist, the root word sole, is related to alone and one, which reminds me of lonelyplanet's slogan-youonlyliveonce.

The name of this coffee alone is enough to attract me all the reasons.

The interior decoration of the store is retro, literary and artistic, yet small and fresh, with its own characteristics.

The open coffee making platform has a high ceiling and is not crowded. With the whispers of the guests, you can see all living beings at a glance.

I tried their fat American style, and after asking, I learned that it is a combination of American style and iced cola.

There are many old things in the decorations, but they are neatly arranged and tidied up, not messy.

The wall leading to the second floor is covered with old stamps and nautical maps, which has a sense of history of Columbus discovering the New World.

On the second floor of the cafe, there are almost no people upstairs due to the broken air conditioner. There are retro pianos, globes, tables that look like old-fashioned sewing machines, and tables made of chests of drawers. The mix of Chinese and Western styles is retro, and it has a special flavor when put together.

Now that it is getting quieter, I choose to sit on the second floor.

There are no more Starbucks in Beijing than in Shanghai, and there are no more independent cafes in Shanghai than in Beijing. In Shanghai, coffee has always been poured at home, but in Beijing, every time I go to a new coffee shop, I want to try the specialty coffee of a different coffee shop. I always feel that I can feel the coffee better after drinking that cup of coffee. The meaning conveyed by the museum.

Carefully take a sip of American cola, it's amazing, it really feels fat in the mouth.

Sit on the open-air platform on the second floor and watch the people coming and going downstairs. On the opposite side of the head is Qingyun Pavilion where Mr. Lu Xun once drank tea.

After the rain, the sun is extraordinarily dazzling when walking on the Yangmeizhu Xiejie. The alleys here are not as crowded as Dashilar. Rabbit Master on Yangmeizhu Xiejie, Hu’s Brushes on Cherry Xiejie, Liulichang on Liulichang East Street... Each alley has its own unique shop.

At the intersection of Shizi Road, I came across a small shop of exlibris. Here I have a taste of a knowledge that I have never heard of before - exlibris.

Bookplate: It is a small sign that indicates to whom the collection of books belongs in an artistic way, usually in the form of woodcuts, stone carvings and other prints.

Internationally, write EX-LIBRIS (Latin) on the ticket. This line of Latin characters indicates that it belongs to a private collection, and the exlibris should generally be pasted on the front page or title page of the book.

This small shop collects and displays all kinds of exlibris from all over the world.

The shopkeeper is the father of Zi An, a scholar of exlibris.

The exlibris hanging on the wall can be sold, and the empty part in the photo frame is the trace after the sale.

Postcards made from exlibris.

Because I was interested in this knowledge, I bought the "Exlibris Notes" written by Zi'an, to study and study, and two exlibris are included with the book ~ the exlibris for each book is different, it can be regarded as a small easter egg ~.

Collision of Light and Shadow | Red Brick Art Museum

Address: 100 meters west of the intersection of Maquanying West Road, Shunbai Road, Hegezhuang Village, Cuigezhuang Township, Chaoyang District, Beijing

Bus: Take a small tricycle or ride a small bicycle to Maquanying Subway Station on Line 15~

Tagging: art museum; literature and art is a job; online celebrity check-in points; good shot index four and a half stars

The water in Beijing is too hard. After living for less than a month, I cut off my long hair that had lasted for more than 5 years. With shoulder hair and a cotton linen red dress, on weekends, Amway took care of her younger brother who was traveling in the imperial capital, and went to the Red Brick Art Museum together to be a literary young woman.

The first thing my brother said when he saw me was, sister, is your red dress not suitable? In fact, this kind of concern has been rehearsed many times in my heart, and I went like this with the fearless mentality of cutting a new head and breaking the pot.

Red Brick can be said to be the most popular online celebrity art museum in the emperor recently. The art museum is not small, except for the museum itself, it has a back garden.

My first impression of red bricks is the light and shadow on the face, which is very clean and joyful.

I don't know if it's because of the summer vacation. Although the overall number of people in the venue is not very large, compared to the previous psychological expectations, there are twice as many people.

The beautiful empty shots will have to wait.

The exhibition hall on the first floor is a huge sun circle, the air is illuminated yellow, and the raised ceiling is a mirror.

The real color is such a yellow light, but it is actually quite interesting to adjust it to black and white.

There is a kind of literary rush to adjust it into black and white~

When I walked out of the exhibition hall, I saw a sleeping baby, so cute!

Walking towards the stairs on the second floor, I looked down and saw the light and shadow at the corner of the stairs.

Outside the exhibition hall is a small garden, one step at a time, like a Suzhou garden.

The roof of the museum can only be installed by sitting on the brick roof.

Backlighting is also beautiful

Real knowledge comes from practice. The red of the red brick has some earthy tones, and the saturation of the red is not so high, so wearing a red dress with a higher saturation will not be invisible. I am used to playing with contrasting colors, try the same color as the building Clothing, the film produced is another feeling.

The small garden that comes with the art museum has different ways of visiting and different perspectives. The color is made of blue bricks and black tiles, which creates a great contrast with the red bricks. The shape is rich in layering. When the sun is good Different light and shadow effects can be played.

Most of the high-end places have a minimalist feel. The shape, angle, and design sense of the Red Brick Art Museum are extremely rich, and the combination of colors is weakened, which will not make people look upset. It uses two opposite colors to highlight the rich sense of design, and uses the blue-gray in the garden to highlight the red brick color of the art museum, supplemented by light and shadow-the light spots on the fallen leaves through the shade of the trees, which is a beautiful visual enjoyment.

Finally saw the legendary small arch with my own eyes, and punched in as a souvenir~

The blue bricks and black tiles give people a colder feeling. After choosing a round shape, it neutralizes it.

Although this is an online celebrity check-in point, I still want to say that I like it very much. I like the design, light and shadow, small gardens, geese, and red bricks here. What I like is that everyone can find a unique perspective of the museum.

Hold on to the little surprise here:

The art gallery is in Wangjing, where it is still going down. When I arrived in Wangjing, I have to mention the Korean cuisine there. Recommend a place to drink chicken soup-Xianyou Jigin Chicken Soup, coordinates: 1st Floor, Ganglv Building, No. 6, Huguang Middle Street, bus: 5 minutes walk from Exit H of Wangjing Station on Line 15/14.

Living alone will miss the taste of my mother making soup at home. The chicken soup here makes me taste like home~

The small dishes here are free to eat, stewed ginseng in chicken soup, stuffed with glutinous rice, a chicken and some side dishes can be eaten comfortably by one person~~~

Meet the most CHIC self in Beijing | China Oil Painting Institute

Address: 50 meters north of Wenhuaxin Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing

Bus: Take No. 14 to Apple Orchard and walk to Pingleyuan North Bus Station. Bus No. 35...to Gaobeidian East

Note: Some remote places, but there are quite a lot of people going to check in, so don't worry too much. The road conditions are good but the journey time is a bit long.

Tagging: Academy of Oil Painting; Literature and art is a job; Internet celebrity check-in points; Good shot index four and a half stars

I was attracted by this piece of white and lines on Hum Hum unintentionally.

As a believer in Nordic minimalist style and a fanatic in Iceland, the clean images, simple lines, and large areas of pure color blocks here fully meet the aesthetics in my heart.

Since it is a minimalist style, you can choose black and white gold to wear, black and white is consistent with the minimalist style, and gold adds some metal elements and dynamics, which can not only echo the golden door of the church, but also increase the color of the picture without appearing too rigid.

Although they are black and white, the styles of the clothes are different. Some girls wear sexy black dresses, while others wear white dresses that are extra pure. Each has its own style, and they all look pretty good.

Interlude a selfie, some small tips for makeup, still focus on simple makeup, false eyelashes and outer eyeliner may be ignored, and red lips, too, after all, it is a minimalist building, and makeup that is too saturated will inevitably It looks gaudy, earth tones and wine reds will be good choices~

Now more and more people come here to check in. God knows how long I have been waiting for such an empty shot.

Strictly speaking, this was the first stop of my solo trip in Beijing, and it was also the first time I took a photo of myself with a tripod on my shoulders. The process is very exhausting and tiring. During the shooting process, you have to calmly accept the gazes of passers-by, and adjust your mood to show the most perfect expression to the camera when the countdown is over.

Looking back now, it was also a very interesting experience.

A white wall that I have played with for a long time...

I really like this group of photos, the picture is very clean, the expression is not single, it feels like taking a photo.

In front of me was a tripod and camera that was about the same height as me.

I waited for a long time for the empty shot sitting on the steps of the church door, and tried for a long time. First, I had to make sure that there was no one in the shot, and second, I had to make sure that the sitting posture and expression had been adjusted during the countdown, and then I took the shot.

I sneaked into a closed art exhibition and saw the oil painting standing quietly on the ground, it was very beautiful.

Secretly open the half-closed door, the huge statue of the goddess of victory stands in front of you, coupled with the light shining through the gap, it really feels sacred.

The Oil Painting Institute does not occupy a large area, but there are many people, so we still have to wait for empty shots. It is recommended to go in the morning or at noon and there are so many people in the afternoon, which is why I only gave it a good shot index of four and a half stars.

In addition to the church in the middle, the surrounding red-walled teaching buildings and other scenery are also good, and you can make a film.

Looking for Childhood Time | China Railway Museum Dongjiao Pavilion

Address: Courtyard No. 6, Jiuxianqiao North Road

Bus: Take bus No. 418/516 at Nangao West Station and ride a bicycle for 5 minutes

Note: It feels like it is farther away than the Oil Painting Academy. After all, we need to find a place to park the train. There are two railway museums, one is the Zhengyang Pavilion, and the one I went to was the Dongjiao Pavilion. The Dongjiao Pavilion is farther away but has more things and more complete things, and there are relatively few tourists.

Tagging: Museum fans; literature and art is a job; good shot index five stars

This is the first time I saw so many trains, very impressive, there are special indoor halls to display these decommissioned trains, and there are trains parked on outdoor tracks.

Things like trains and railroad tracks were listed as dangerous items by adults when they were young, but today they can come into contact with them at such a close distance. This kind of thing that adults think is very dangerous to secretly do something that adults think is very dangerous An inexplicable sense of accomplishment and joy. The most important thing is that the venue is very large, and there are not many tourists in twos and threes. Basically, parents and friends come to play, so I can pat and pat without any scruples by myself~!

Treasures of Town Hall - Mao Zedong and Zhu De

These two cars have been refurbished and look quite new, but it is also very interesting to match this appearance.

Entering the indoor exhibition hall area, it is divided into left and right parts of the display area, so there are few people around the exhibition hall and it is very quiet, which is very suitable for one person to take pictures with a tripod. Although some trains are written not to be climbed, but because the venue is too big and the train is too high, you can basically avoid the patrol personnel and have a close contact with these big guys secretly~~

Then I felt like I was taking selfies at the Oil Painting Institute the day before, and the photos in the museum this time were all selfies~ The opposite of the above picture is the picture below~

Climb to the tail of the train and have fun~

I also tried posing in front of the train~

This is the second time for me to go to a place on the bus alone with a tripod on my back. I am used to sitting on the window seat opposite the last row of doors on the bus. Print it in my memory bit by bit, and use this way to understand the city where I lived for the first time in my life.

I quite enjoy this kind of life, I can go wherever I want to go, I don’t need to wait, count on, or depend on anyone to live, and I continue to harvest and become more chic, independent, and confident in each trip.

Some interesting details of the indoor pavilion.

Walking out of the indoor exhibition hall, it is the outdoor era station. There are many trains on the rails, most of which are freight trains, so the volume is very large, and the name that is particularly reminiscent of the Republic of China is written - Lan Ju Lan Duan, too late to say I love it You, Love, Deep Rain, etc. A series of train clips of Republic of China movies will be online soon, so immersive~!

Then I will not let go of the right time, place and people and the place suitable for taking pictures. Just a pose is very impressive~

Thanks to my Dahei and the tripod for helping me own the whole world~

Let's briefly talk about the outfits here. Since it is a museum related to railways and trains, it is not very appropriate to dress too complicated and literary. After all, this kind of big guy gives people a cool feeling, so it is always better to dress handsomely. There is nothing wrong with that.

So here comes the question, what kind of outfit can make the whole look more chic and comfortable? Small florals are definitely not suitable, nor are princess dresses and long dresses that are too elegant. Trousers are recommended. In addition, simple things can easily create a cool atmosphere, so the matching of solid-colored clothing can not only make the film itself have a high-end feel, but also help us achieve a handsome and simple feeling.

In addition to my body, I feel that a solid color dress or a long skirt is also good to create a Japanese style, or a motorcycle wallet? Black skinny pants with a big red lip? Should be cool too haha.

I highly recommend this museum.

From the perspective of novelty hunting, this is the first time I have seen a museum exhibiting trains. Facing such a spectacular group of trains seems to be directly in the past dialogue;

From the perspective of shooting, it is easy to produce good films here. Firstly, the venue is large, and secondly, there are few people. The indoor exhibition hall is basically a place where there are basically no people coming and going, so you can take pictures as much as you want. Therefore, for the good shooting index here, I give it 5 stars. Choosing the right set of clothes to help you create the style you want to show in the film can be said to be the right time, place and people~

South of Miss | North of Northwest

Address: No. 53, South Sanlitun Road

Bus: Bike at Exit B of Dongdaqiao Station on Line 6 / Walk for 800 meters

Tagging: Those small shops that you can glimpse at a glimpse; unbelievable food; literature and art is a job

Living alone, eating will always become a big thing. On the days when I don’t want to cook, the small noodle shop has become a good place for me, with moderate portions and high cost performance. [Northwest North] is one such store.

Every day on the way home, I pass by this small noodle shop. In the dirty street, there is a small noodle shop sitting quietly. The decoration is warm and transparent. I planted it silently in a glimpse on the way home in a hurry. Grass. It is a small noodle restaurant suitable for one person.

From the decoration style, the arrangement of tables and chairs, the design of chandeliers to the pots and pans for food, I am very satisfied. When you are in a good mood, naturally everything tastes good.

This time I ordered braised pork noodles and potato chips. Anytime the noodles in the Northwest, the noodles themselves still have the roughness of the Northwest, but the bottom of the stewed pork noodles is noodles with scallion oil and sugar, which tastes like home. Southerners like it very much~

Even if you don’t want to cook, you can come here to eat out. After eating a full meal, you can walk home slowly, so pleasant~

The more tricky thing is that for some reason, this small shop suddenly closed around the Mid-Autumn Festival in 2018. I hope it can resume business soon, and I can check in again~

Lovely Huairou Long Guanyin Road | Hongluo Temple

Location: No. 2, Hongluo Road, Huairou District, Beijing

Bus: self-driving

Note: Huairou District belongs to the suburbs of Beijing. There are many good homestays. On nights when the sky is clear, the clouds are clear, the moon is dark, you can see the Milky Way with your naked eyes.

Tagging: Religious building control

First, let’s brush up on the cute little milk cat and the starry sky of the homestay~ It’s so healing~

This is the starry sky I saw at night at the homestay. It was the first time I saw such a scene. Since then, the sky full of stars, the Milky Way and meteors are no longer the existence imagined in the book.

The next day we came to Hongluo Temple near the homestay. There are many ginkgoes in Hongluo Temple, which were still emerald green at that time. I believe that in autumn, the ginkgos all over the mountain must be particularly beautiful!

There is a small temple at the foot of the Hongluo Temple, and then you can climb the mountain to the Guanyin Temple on the top of the mountain. There are three roads up the mountain, Guanyin Road, Hongluo Road and Luohan Road. Generally, you will choose to go up the mountain on Guanyin Road, go down the mountain on Hongluo Road, or take a slide down the mountain on Luohan Road. Guanyin Road, as the name suggests, is full of Guanyin statues along the way, and it is also one of the largest viewing places in Hongluo Temple. Devout believers will kneel and worship all the way there. Hongluo Road is a straight uphill road, which is very steep, but the mountain scenery on the way is very beautiful. Friends who want to challenge themselves can consider it.

The relatively gentle Guanyin Road.

I didn't do any strategy this time, so I saw an uphill road and walked straight up. I asked the locals halfway and found out that I walked the steepest Hongluo road in the middle, kneeling every minute. Originally, I sincerely wanted to see the Guanyin statue along the way, but unexpectedly, I took a red conch road with nothing, except for the bugs on the ground, the spiders in the sky and the distant scenery.

After passing both Hongluo Road and Guanyin Road, I found that although Hongluo Road is very steep, the surrounding scenery is very good. Unlike Guanyin Road surrounded by pines and cypresses, Hongluo Road has a very wide view and you can see the scenery in the distance.

Finally, it is only 200 meters away from Guanyin Road!

With a whole body of equipment, finally climbed! Category~

The incense in Hongluo Temple has always been very prosperous, and there is an endless stream of believers and tourists.

The wish belt full of blessings is especially beautiful against the sunlight.

A small cattail fan appeared. I especially like to take pictures of some small things, which may seem inconspicuous at first glance, but it is these inconspicuous little things that make up the unique temperament of each place.

The Hongluo Temple in autumn should be even more beautiful. After all, the ginkgo trees all over the mountain have turned yellow, and the temple and ginkgo can be seen at one time. It can be said to kill two birds with one stone~

It is said that it is very effective to seek marriage and children here~ Remember to fulfill your wish~

A small town in the suburbs of Beijing at the foot of the Great Wall | Gubei Water Town

Location: Gubei Water Town

Bus: Gubei Water Town direct bus at the Dongzhimen transportation hub, one-way 48, it has a departure timetable, remember to arrive about 20 minutes in advance, the bus will leave when it is full.

Tagging: Literature and art is a job; good shot index five stars

Before rushing to eleven, I checked in Gubei Water Town with my little sister.

On weekends, Gubei Water Town is a good place to relax in the suburbs of Beijing. I originally wanted to find some shadows of Jiangnan water towns here, but unexpectedly gained the unique attitude of northern water towns --- a small town at the foot of the Great Wall surrounded by mountains. It lacks the smoke and fire of city life, after all, it is the Venice of the North built with huge sums of money, hahaha.

About food, clothing and housing in the water town:

Clothes: The ancient town is quite cool in the morning and evening, especially if you want to visit the Simatai Great Wall at night or go to the church on the top of the mountain to see the night view, you must remember to bring a coat. Gubei Water Town is a very suitable place for taking pictures, so ladies and sisters who like to take beautiful photos can go there with a beautiful match. In terms of color matching, it should be noted that the tie-dyeing of Yongshun dyeing room is a large area of small florals with rich colors, and the pattern of clothes matching can be a little simpler, otherwise the picture will be a bit messy.

Food: The snacks on the road are pretty good. We tried candied haws, roasted pears, roasted sweet potatoes, and hawthorn ice cream. Wenchang Pavilion Chinese food is recommended. It is said to be Wuzhen cuisine, but it is actually Jiangnan cuisine. It is connected to the hotel and has an elegant environment with few people. As a native Shanghainese, after testing it myself, I think it is very good. I know that this kind of cooking is a relatively pure Shanghai cuisine.

Regarding some popular restaurants in the reviews - Simagang Restaurant, we were told there were no seats at one o'clock. I went into the dining hall and took a quick scan. There are many group meals. I feel that the color of the dishes is average. . So friends who are interested, remember to go early, hurry up or not late~

Accommodation: I recommend everyone to live in the water town. On the one hand, you can fully experience the rich nightlife in the water town at night - the Kongming lantern show, the night view of the ancient town, street performances, night visits to the Great Wall, etc.; on the other hand, the next morning, there are few tourists. You can enjoy your own Gubei Water Town. There are a wide range of hotels to choose from in the town, including luxury, inns and B&Bs, as well as cheap ones. You can book on the official website of Gubei Water Town according to your own situation.

When you arrive in the town, you can pick up a small map and design your own travel route. There are many small scenic spots in the town, but to put it bluntly, it is to walk around the streets of the town, and then come across a small place you like to take pictures, get tired or eat some snacks, or just catch up with someone A show, watch a fifteen minutes. Generally speaking, it is a very leisurely travel rhythm.

As soon as you leave the inn, you will see the reading icon sitting on the steps~

One stop anywhere is a beautiful time~

It feels like the mascot of Gubei Water Town, the little squirrel, like the squirrel with three pine trees~

On the way to Xiaojing, I came across a street scene with no tourists, which felt like Qingshiban Road, a water town in the south of the Yangtze River. I took a photo for a long time

Triple shot at the corner of the stairs

To put it bluntly, I thought I was at the pinnacle of my looks at the Railway Museum until I met Gubei Water Town. Facts have proved that being too thin is not equal to the peak of appearance

Then it is one of the highlights of our visit this time, the big dyeing room-Yongshun Dyeing Workshop!

This is also a check-in point for Internet celebrities, and there are a lot of people. The dyeing workshop is rich in colors. After choosing the right clothes, you can choose a good angle to take beautiful photos. Here are some hard photos~

I especially like this piece of solid color tie-dye, the color is not too bright, very simple. If you accidentally wear more complicated clothes, you can choose to come here to take pictures.

Qiang Qiang Qiang~ This is the signature tie-dyeing of Yongshun Dyeing Workshop, where many people come to check in, with big red, yellow, big green and big flowers.

Come here, you must still check in as a souvenir!

There are many tourists who come here to take pictures and check in. If it is windy, it is actually quite difficult to take pictures. The cloth is floating in the sky. Take a few more pictures when there is no one. Floral cloth is always the most crowded, and there will be many people in pure color tie-dye~

Tired of shopping, I am going to watch a shadow puppet show for a short rest. There are many fixed-point and scheduled performances in the ancient city. You can take a small map first, then choose the ones you are interested in, and arrange the time.

On the way to see the shadow puppet show, I met those cute creatures in Gubei Water Town~

I wish myself an early divorce~hhh

An icon on the wall ~ pick a favorite slogan ~

Well I'm still young

Finally arrived at the shadow play exhibition hall~ There are so many people, you can go to the waiting room about 10 minutes in advance, if the crowd is full, you will not be allowed to enter.

The scene we watched was Sun Wukong beating the Bone Demon three times, which was very exciting. All transformations are well done.

When the second senior brother saw the beautiful woman, the saliva left in his mouth was also programmed into it

The children have the best seats in the first row. Since we went in too late, we were the last two. I happened to see that there were vacant seats in the first row. I cheekily asked the young lady if she could sit, and then there was a super Good perspective, haha happy

After watching the shadow puppet show, it was already sunset, and the Gubei Water Town under the light and shadow was particularly beautiful at this time.

Take a break on the beauty~

After dinner, it’s time for the most exciting part of flying Kongming lanterns and night climbing to the chapel on the top of the mountain~

Although Kongming Lanterns are digital Kongming Lanterns, to put it bluntly, they are not real fires, but digital flames, which are then released together by the background control, but it is still very beautiful when they are all released into the sky!

After watching the Kongming Lantern show, we went to the small church on the top of the mountain to enjoy the night view of the water town ~ I accidentally harvested a super beautiful small church under the starry sky~

hilltop chapel

Walking out of the open space of the chapel, there are many small stars and moons. Since it is night, it is recommended to bring a tripod to prevent hand shake when taking night portraits~

There are so many ladies and sisters taking pictures in this moon place, and they basically line up to take pictures one by one. But compared to other girls who use mobile phones to shoot, the output rate is not as high as that of SLR and tripod.

After visiting the small church on the top of the mountain, you can see the night view of the town on the way to the inn. Tips If you want to take pictures with bright lights, you can adjust the K value of the SLR to 5000-6000~

ps I am Canon Party

On the second day in the water town, we set off in the opposite direction to the Simatai Great Wall. Because I was lazy, I didn't choose to climb the Great Wall myself, but took the cable car to visit, but in fact, I still have to walk for a while to get down from the cable car.

The above is all about Gubei Water Town. If you want to have fun and not rush to spend money, you can spend two days and one night. Go to the suburbs of Beijing on weekends to let the wind go, and meet the most beautiful self in the water town~~~

Meet the National Bookstore of Singapore in Imperial City | Page One

Venue: Beijing Fang PGONE Bookstore

Transportation: Line 2 and Hepingmen

Tagging: Internet celebrity check-in point

PGONE is a national bookstore operating 24 hours a day in Singapore, and the first one to enter Beijing should be the Sanlitun Taikoo Li store. I have been there once before, you can poke my previous travel notes. The other PGONE opened in Beijing Square, which is very hot recently. I feel that Beijing Square is a bit similar to Xintiandi in Shanghai. There is also the largest muji hotel inside. You can go there for a walk on weekends~

The long steps at the main entrance feel like walking into the ocean of knowledge

The PGONE in Beijing Square is so big. Books, bookshelves, ladders, and steps are all neatly arranged together, which looks very comfortable.

Some small souvenirs and trinkets scattered around.

Pretending to be reading a book seriously

In the tall book exhibition space, the bookshelf itself is black, and the light and shadow pass through it, which is very impressive.

Take a photo with the bookshelf~

The most noticeable thing on the first floor of the bookstore is the long escalator, which can lead directly to the second floor. It's a pity that it was under renovation when I came here, so I couldn't go up and try it myself.

super tall bookshelf

Triple shot of books~

How should I put it, as an online celebrity check-in point, the bookstore itself is quite fancy, so it is quite suitable for film production. However, due to the recent popularity, the tranquility exclusive to the bookstore is less. On the first floor, there are many guests who come here to take pictures, and the atmosphere of reading is less. For those who want to come to the bookstore to read books, you can choose to go to the second floor or the Taikoo Li store~

A Dialogue Through the Millennium | Zhengyi Temple Theater

Venue: Zhengyi Temple Theater Building

Transportation: It's a bit difficult, in the alley, you can take the subway to Beijing Square and ride a bicycle to enter

Tagging: Construction control must check in; art is a job

Zhengyi Temple was originally an ancient temple in the Ming Dynasty. In the sixth year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1667), Zhejiang people established it as a place to worship gods, establish business agreements, connect with fellow villagers, and help Yan Yan travel. It actually functions as a hall. Until the forty-ninth year of Kangxi (1710), because there was no place for gatherings and eating and drinking, it was rebuilt after raising funds to buy it. It was completed in the fifty-first year of Kangxi (1712), and it was named Zhejiang Yinhao. Hall.

This is the Zhengyi Temple that I have longed for!

The courtyard furnishings after entering the door are antique. Zhengyi Temple at night is unique.

The theater building of Zhengyi Temple is one of the outstanding representatives of ancient architecture. The theater building of Zhengyi Temple is an overall wooden structure building, facing north and south, with a rolling shed resting on the top of the mountain. Leading to the upper attic, a square hole is dug and hooks are set up for the lifting and lowering or transporting of brickwork by actors performing ghost plays; the stage is hollow under the platform, and a basement is set up. Escape from below; there is a water jar at the left and right corners of the platform mouth, which can be used for tuning after being filled with water. Such a complete stage installation was rare in the Kangxi period.

ending

This article was hidden by me for nearly half a year, and I decided to post it again on the bus home on August 2, 2019. I deleted the unfinished part and changed the previous text lazily. Now it looks a bit lengthy, but it is also a part of my life.

The travelogue is over, but the journey will never end.
