The National Day of the 70th anniversary is also a wedding anniversary, so I chose to take a romantic self-driving trip with my wife. During the summer vacation, I missed the 50% discount on expressways and state-owned classics in Guizhou. This time I traveled to Guizhou during the National Day holiday.
Introduction to the itinerary:
Departure in the afternoon of the first day (1st): Chengdu-Chongqing Shapingba-Nanping District
After watching the National Day military parade in the morning, I thought about traveling on a different peak. I set off at 1 pm and went straight to Shapingba, Chongqing. After dinner, I went straight to Nanping District to rest.
Eat: "Mao Baibai" hot pot recommended by locals, the taste is absolutely delicious, authentic Chongqing hot pot;
Accommodation: The urban area is very crowded and expensive, so if you choose to walk south at night, you can save more than half an hour on the highway the next day. The point is that you can live in a better hotel at the same price in the area. The Nanqiao Hotel I chose has spacious rooms and parking spaces (self-driving is very important), so I can rest when I arrive.
Others: If you have enough time, you can go to Jinfo Mountain the next day to play, if you have another time, you can try it next time. At the same time, I plan to go to Fanjing Mountain (that is, the place where there is a building on the top of the high mountain that is always wowed on Douyin). As a result, all appointments have been made for the 1st to 5th, and the daily reception capacity is 8,000. The official account is purchased in advance.
Departure at 9:00 on the second day (2nd): Chongqing Nanping-Zhenyuan Ancient Town
I was thinking of leaving later, there is really no traffic jam on the road, and the highway in Guizhou is not bad, except for the speed limit of 100, the service area is very convenient, I didn’t arrive until after 3 p.m., and the rest on the road was relatively long; During the National Day, it was more difficult to park in Zhenyuan Ancient Town. The major parking lots were full. In the end, I parked downstairs at the hotel. At first, I couldn’t get in because of the traffic jam in the alley.
Eat: There are quite a lot of grilled fish by the Zhenyuan River, but I didn't eat any of them. I chose the Yuanji tofu recommended by the public, especially the tofu dumplings. Then after visiting the night scene, I chose an old street rice noodle (next to Boai Hospital, diagonally opposite to Tingzilou entrance) for snacks. It is open 24 hours, and the braised vegetables are not bad.
Accommodation: The price of accommodation is relatively expensive because of the National Day. I booked a very ordinary double bed room and it cost more than 300 yuan. In those years, the space-time station, although the room was relatively small, the hygiene was not bad, and the boss was very enthusiastic.
Others: The boss said that rafting is possible in good weather, but I didn’t experience it this time. The night view is not bad. I didn’t go to the opposite mountain and the cave because I went shopping late, but the locals still said it was ok.
Departure at 9 o'clock on the third day (3rd): Zhenyuan Ancient City - Qianhu Miao Village - Guiyang
I thought that it would only take a maximum of 3 hours to drive, and there would be no traffic jams at the high speed, but it would be a tragedy when I got off the high speed, so I started to loop all the way, and the national highways around the National Day formed a single loop with many people. It was blocked all the way to the west gate until 12:00, but there was no parking lot, and there was a traffic jam all the way to the north gate, but there was still no parking lot, and finally a shuttle bus was stuck in a temporary parking lot farther away. Therefore, if you come here in the future, you can park in the nearest parking lot when you get off the expressway, and it is faster and more convenient to take a shuttle bus to get in.
Eat: To be honest, after entering the Qianhu Miao Village, the commercialization is too heavy, so I just ate some kebabs in a few snack bars and ate some strange cucumber-flavored fruits.
I ate beef in sour soup in Guiyang at night. I was looking forward to it for a long time, but it still tastes bad if I eat too much.
OK: Then I didn't walk to the sightseeing spot and looked at the panorama. Maybe I didn't see the shocking feeling during the day, so only the museum understands the culture, and finally leaves.
Accommodation: The accommodation of thousands of Miao villages on National Day may not be what I waited for the poor people to feel, so I left quietly. If you stay in Guiyang at night, you can definitely stay in a star hotel at the same price. Adhering to the principle of poverty, I chose a newly opened Sogman Hotel, but the price/performance ratio is really high. The parking space is the parking space of the shopping mall, directly accessible by the elevator, and there is no breakfast, but there is one downstairs.
The fourth day (4 days): Guiyang - Huangguoshu Waterfall
I was frightened by my companion the day before, saying that there was a traffic jam all the way when I set off at 9 o'clock, and then I went in at 2 o'clock and came out at 4 o'clock. So we definitely set off at 7:30, but it is strongly recommended to stay in the south, not the north. You can take the Guihua’an Expressway in the south, and don’t take the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway in the north. The speed limit in Hua’an is 120 and there are few cars. Speed 100 is still stuck in traffic. After 9 o'clock, I parked in the parking lot of Beer City under the guidance of the scenic spot, and the entrance was just after I came out.
Reminder: Be sure to book tickets online in advance. Huangguoshu is also a time-sharing reservation, and you must enter at the reservation time. We went in at 10 o'clock and queued for 30 minutes for the shuttle bus.
Arrangement of scenic spots: Be sure to go to the Great Falls first, so the road in Shuilian Cave is narrow, so there will be queues. As a result, there is still no legendary 2 hours, and the whole process takes 2 hours to complete the Great Falls and Water Curtain Cave. Then immediately lined up to take a bus to Tianxing Bridge, and only queued for 30 minutes at this time. The Tianxing Bridge walked slowly for 4 hours, and I made up my mind to walk the whole way. I really must go to the second half. The shocking waterfall is the second half. Many people are too scared to go too far. As a result, there was no one in the second half. In addition, the 10 yuan cableway in the second half is still a bit pitted and very short, but if you are not physically strong, you should sit down. Finally, go straight down from the Tianxing Bridge to the door, without going to the first scenic spot. If there are many people, be sure to follow our route, otherwise you will queue up at the Great Waterfall for at least an hour in the afternoon, and we will go out and queue at Tianxing Bridge for 10 minutes, and then go all the way to the door.
Eat: There is nothing to eat in the scenic area, so I can buy some snacks at any time. In the evening, I will go to Shuicheng at high speed in order to catch up with the road. The main reason is that the heavy rain keeps me there, otherwise I will go to Bijie. But it was not bad to eat Shuicheng mutton fee the next day.
Accommodation: The Shuicheng Yulongshan Hotel where I stayed that day is definitely not recommended.
Day 5 (5th) Water City - Zhijin Cave / Zhijin Grand Canyon - Yibin
The next day I slept until I woke up naturally, and then it took more than an hour to drive to Zhijin Cave. We made a mistake and parked in the farthest visitor center parking lot, but we were able to drive directly to the entrance to park. Forget about taking the shuttle bus to go up, and bought a set ticket Zhijin Cave and Grand Canyon set watch after seeing the discount at the door.
Arrangement of scenic spots: Zhijin Cave is really good. It took an hour and a half for the whole process. It is definitely a beautiful cave. The caves in other places are too small. The location here can really be called the best gift from nature. The Grand Canyon is on the other side of the boundary of the visitor center parking lot. It is best to take a shuttle bus, otherwise you have to pay another parking fee. Anyway, in the end you can ferry back. The Grand Canyon is a deep canyon, with winding paths leading to seclusion. There is an elevator in the Grand Canyon, but I didn’t feel special in the end. It’s still a natural scenery to walk around. The whole tour takes a total of 4 hours and leaves at 5 o'clock.
I drove to Yibin in the evening, and suddenly experienced the nightlife in Sichuan. I chose Wang BBQ for supper.
Accommodation: I stayed at the Moon Peninsula Art Hotel. Everything else is good, but there is no parking lot. I parked in the parking lot of a hospital. It costs 20 oceans to park for 12 hours.
Day 6 (6th) Yibin-Lizhuang-Chengdu
On this day, I went to eat burning noodles in the morning. It was really good to meet the three kinds of people next to each other. Then I went for a walk in Lizhuang. The scenery by the river was not bad. Finally, I brought white meat and white cake. The return journey started in the afternoon. There was no traffic jam before Zigong, but the traffic jam started later, so I went directly to Weiyuan to eat, and finally came across a Sanmaoyu village that I definitely recommend. I checked it myself, it was absolutely great. The expressway is still congested at night, so I made a decisive decision to exit the expressway in Renshou and take Tianfu Avenue. There are street lights at night, and the speed limit of 80 is better than the traffic jam on the expressway.
