【Practical Dry Goods】

1. Most of the Mt. Everest Ring Road is on the border. The first thing you need to do when you arrive in Shigatse is to apply for a border defense certificate, otherwise you will not be able to go there in the subsequent itinerary. When you apply for a border defense certificate, bring your ID card. It can be completed in minutes, and the border defense permit can be issued for up to 7 days, counting from the day of processing.
2. The highest altitude of Mount Everest Ring Road is about 5200. If you don’t know whether you will have a high reaction, you should also take anti-high reaction drugs such as Rhodiola a week in advance, just in case; in addition, the weather in Tibet Changes are fast, the air is dry, and medicines for preventing colds, getting angry, and gastrointestinal discomfort should also be taken.
3. Most of the temple buildings can be photographed. It is best for the monks in the temple to ask politely. Photography is not allowed inside the Buddhist hall. There is also a special need to pay attention to aerial photography. Borderline counties are strict in aerial photography, and temples are not good, but temples can go to a place farther away from the temple or take pictures from a distance on the mountain. My companions were taken by the police uncle because of the aerial photography in the temple. Walked and educated for half an hour.
4. Tibet has a large temperature difference between morning and evening, and the temperature of high-altitude peaks is relatively low, and the wind is relatively strong. It’s always right to bring extra clothes. You need to wear thicker clothes when you go to Mount Everest, and you should walk slowly.
5. The altitude in Tibet is high, and the ultraviolet rays are strong. Sunscreen, face coverings, masks, ice sleeves, etc. are all necessities. bubbly.
6. To go to Lhasa or Shigatse, you usually transfer from Xi’an, Xining, Chongqing and Chengdu. The air ticket to Lhasa is cheaper than Shigatse. You can fly to Lhasa first and take the train to Shigatse, which can save travel expenses and adapt to the high altitude in advance environment.
7. Someone asked, what should I do if I am not used to eating in Tibet? In fact, there is no need to worry at all, even in small border towns, there are many Sichuan cuisine restaurants, Northeast dumpling restaurants, hot pot, barbecue and so on.
8. When I came to Tibet, I brought two mobile phone cards, one for China Unicom and one for China Telecom. Telecom has a signal in most areas, but China Unicom and Mobile are not very good. It is recommended to bring a China Telecom card to Tibet to keep the communication smooth.
9. Taking anti-hyper-reactive drugs alone may not be able to alleviate sudden hyper-reactive incidents. Self-driving cars should always have oxygen inhalation equipment. Some good hotel rooms have their own oxygen inhalation facilities. It is very convenient.
10. Come to Tibet, pay more attention to rest, don't be brave. Walk slowly, get enough sleep, maintain a good mental state, and meet new challenges.

【DAY 1 Shigatse】

Tashilhunpo Monastery

On the first day of arriving in Shigatse, I rested in the hotel for one night and didn't go anywhere. I first got used to the altitude environment, and I was worried that the subsequent travel would be exacerbated by the high altitude discomfort because of being too hasty.
The official trip started the next day. The must-go place in Shigatse is the Tashilhunpo Monastery, just under the Niseri Mountain in Shigatse. It is the largest temple in this area, and the Tibetan translation is "Auspicious Sumeru Temple".

Tashilhunpo Monastery is comparable to the Potala Palace in Lhasa and is one of the six famous Yellow Sect monasteries in my country. Together with Ganden Monastery, Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery, the "Three Great Monasteries" in Lhasa, it is collectively known as the "Four Great Monasteries" of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. The four major temples are also listed as the "six major temples" of the Gelug Sect along with Kumbum Monastery in Qinghai and Labrang Monastery in Gansu.

The building in the temple is a recognizable traditional Tibetan temple style, with golden roofs and red walls, and crisscross temples. White pagodas and turning corridors can be seen everywhere, and pilgrims and monks from afar are walking devoutly in every corner.

It is not allowed to take pictures inside the main hall of the temple, and the rules of the temple must be followed. If you want to take a photo with the monks in the temple, you can ask politely, and some of them can take photos or take photos with them.

The ground in front of the main hall is inlaid with many precious stones, most of which are donated by devout believers, including agate, turquoise, crystal and so on. In addition to the golden statue of Buddha, there are also the spiritual pagoda hall of Panchen Lama and the body of Tibetan relics in the hall.

When I went there, I happened to meet a rare sutra debating event in the monastery. Although I didn't understand it well, I couldn't understand it either. But it is a shocking and solemn scene, and monks who have distinguished scriptures will also reward a long incense stick.

It takes about an hour and a half for the whole tour of Tashilhunbu. The main parts are the Cuoqin Hall, the Maitreya Buddha Hall and the Tara Hall. Whether it is Tibetan architecture or Buddhist culture, it is very shocking and left a deep memory on me.

Stone Carving Museum

This season in Shigatse has to wait until the sun sets, and the time is after 8:30 in the evening. After visiting the Tashilhunpo Monastery, I checked in the local Moment Museum by the way. This stone carving museum in Shigatse is the first stone carving art museum in the Tibet Autonomous Region.

The museum has two floors, which contain a large number of exquisite stone carvings of Tibet between the 7th century and the 19th century, including more than 60 related stone carvings and various rubbings of Tibet.

The museum now has more than 100 pieces of cultural relics in its collection, including various types of stone tablets, stone carvings, and statue tablets unearthed in recent years. Among them, the stone carvings in Tibet between the 15th and 19th centuries are the most numerous. These exquisite stone carvings are a way for people to understand the culture and art of Tibetan areas. It takes half an hour to come to Shigatse Stone Carving Museum and benefit a lot.

【DAY 2 Gyantse】

Gyantse Dzong

It takes an hour and a half to drive from Shigatse to Gyantse County. Gyantse County is not big, and the mountains in the city are not high. It is Gyantse Zongshan, on which there are heroic poems, and the heroic deeds of anti-British remain on this site.

Zongshan Anti-British Site in Gyantse is 360 meters long from east to west, and about 80 meters wide from north to south. The top of the British ruins. Gyantse Zongshan Anti-British Site is a commemorative place for the Chinese nation to resist foreign aggression. It has relatively complete preservation of the original appearance of the clan government in the feudal serfdom era and has important historical value.

Although the mountain is not high, no matter where you are in Tibet, you cannot do strenuous exercise, let alone mountain climbing. The commanding heights of the building on the top of the mountain have a wide view, and the entire Gyangze County has a panoramic view. The blue sky, white clouds, majestic mountains, peaceful small towns, and different scenery at different heights. (This place is really super suitable for punching in and taking pictures. The originally planned one hour time was taken for three hours)

Baiju Temple

From the top of Zongshan Mountain, you can see a majestic temple, which is Baiju Temple, which is called "Bankuo Qude" in Tibetan, which means "Auspicious Wheel Dale Temple". At an altitude of 3,900 meters, it is a monastery where the Sakya, Shalu and Gelug sects of Tibetan Buddhism coexist. It is also a pagoda temple combined with typical Tibetan Buddhist temple buildings. There are temples in the pagoda and pagodas in the temple. .

The Baiju Pagoda in Baiju Temple has the reputation of "one hundred thousand pagodas". It is because of this pagoda that Baiju Temple is particularly attractive. This is not an ordinary pagoda. The pagoda has nine floors and is more than 32 meters high. There are 77 Buddhist halls, 108 doors, shrines and scripture halls. It is a unique treasure in the history of Chinese architecture. There are more than 100,000 Buddha statues painted in the hall, so it is named 100,000 Buddha Pagodas. There are more than a thousand clay, copper and gold Buddha statues in the tower, which can be called a museum of Buddha statues.

There is a small path behind the pagoda, which can climb to the height of the back mountain. There is also a Buddhist hall here. The platform in front of the Buddhist hall can look at Zongshan Mountain in the distance.
It is strictly forbidden to fly drones to take aerial photos in the temple. If you are caught, you will be taken away by the police uncle for education. Two of your companions will be taken away. You still have to respect the local customs when you come here. In fact, you can take pictures of Baiju Temple from the perspective of God on Zongshan Mountain.

【DAY 3 Yadong】

Passionate

In Tibet, lakes are called "measures", so Tibet has the saying of "one measure after another", which shows that there are many lakes in Tibet. From Gyantse to Yadong, nearly four hours away, the beautiful Cuo Lake that appeared from time to time made me widen my eyes, fearing that I would miss those green lakes in the blink of an eye.

Among all the lakes, Yadong's sentimental measures moved me the most. Duoqingcuo, also known as "Duoqingcuo", is a seldom-populated alpine lake with sparkling blue water, and water birds soar wantonly over the lake. The nearby Kangchengda Snow Mountain and the distant Zhuomulari Snow Mountain face each other far away from Duoqingcuo. The beautiful sentimental lake reflects the snow mountain in the lake. Beautiful picture.

The clouds are moving, and the snow-capped mountains in the distance are looming, but our intrusion has not affected the peaceful atmosphere here at all. The magical nature can always show us a shocking side. Standing by the lake and looking at the towering snow-capped mountains, it seems that time is passing by quickly. I can't help but imagine the different appearances of the lake in four seasons, walking through spring, summer, autumn and winter. , the final frame is the most beautiful frame.

parry prairie

The Pali Grassland is located in Pali Town, Yadong County, in the north-south direction of the Himalayas. Due to the influence of the warm and humid airflow in the Indian Ocean, the precipitation here is very sufficient, so it is also one of the most fertile grasslands in Tibet. There are more than 300 kinds of high-quality miscellaneous pastures growing on the slopes of the valleys here, thus forming a meadow grassland with rich nutrition, because the root system of the pasture here is very strong, and the root systems in pieces are entangled together, forming a carpet-like When you step on this prairie, you will feel both soft and elastic.

It’s just that the meadows in this season are a little fragile. You can’t see the end when you drive a long distance. All the hills are covered by meadows. The natural grass, with countless colorful flowers, and the strong yaks lying lazily on the hillside, enjoying countless fat food, the scene is very beautiful.

I came across a big mani pile on the road by chance, which was very novel. I heard from the local people that it was close to the border. This mani pile was a symbolic border line built by the herdsmen of the two countries. meaningful.
It is said that Yadong, a small border town, is just at a small corner of the border on the map, next to India and China respectively. On the map, it is an embarrassing and interesting location. You must pay attention when traveling here. If you are careful, you may reach the national border, so you must pay attention.

salmon dinner

Yadong County is rich in products, and there are many precious ingredients. There are two most famous ones, one is Yadong black fungus, and the other is Yadong salmon.
There is a salmon farming base in Yadong, where you can not only visit to learn about salmon farming knowledge, but also fish on site.

If I pass by here, I brought a few of them, and the harvest is quite good. The price of buying Yadong salmon here is 150 yuan per catty. If you buy it outside, the price will double or even more.

I lived in Yadong at night, and found a small local restaurant to process, three fish in three ways, steamed salmon, sauerkraut salmon, and spicy salmon. It was so enjoyable to eat. The fresh salmon was delicious, smooth and tender. All my kung fu was eaten up.

【DAY 4 Yadong】

Zhuomulari Snow Mountain

There is a sacred mountain in Yadong——Zhuomulari, which is one of the seven fairies in the folklore of Yadong County, which is juxtaposed with Mount Everest. The mountain is steep and 7734 meters above sea level. Zhuomulari Snow Mountain, also known as Goddess Peak, is located in Pali Town, Yadong County, 50 kilometers away from the county seat.

The top of Zhuomulari Snow Mountain is covered with snow all the year round, and at the foot of the snow mountain is Duoqing Lake. When viewed from a distance, the sacred mountain and the holy lake are integrated, and the charming Goddess Peak and the mirror-like Duoqing Lake are inlaid on the lush Pali grassland.
The Goddess Peak, which is shrouded in clouds and mists all the year round, must get up early to see its true face. It takes more than an hour to reach the viewing platform from Yadong County. After 9:30, the Goddess Peak will be entangled in clouds and fog. It doesn't look like a mountain. Therefore, you must not sleep late in Tibet.

On one side is the majestic Goddess Peak, and on the other side is Junxiu who has not yet stepped out of the Pali grassland. It’s hard to imagine that it will be October soon, and there are still patches of rapeseed flowers in full bloom here, and the bees are also busy collecting honey early in the morning. The gratifying rapeseed flowers are one and a half meters high, and the lovely golden color is set against the blue sky and white clouds, as if stepping forward After spring, autumn also becomes colorful.

Dongga Temple

It takes an hour from Zhuomulari to Dongga Temple. In fact, it can save half of the time from Yadong County to Dongga Temple, but Zhuomulari must get up early to see its most beautiful moment.
Dongga Temple was built in the early 16th century and has a history of more than 500 years. It is a branch temple of the Tashilhunpo Temple of the Yellow Sect. It is located on the west hillside of Dongxiang, Shangya. It is named after Dongga Mountain. It is not only a Gelugpa temple, but also a temple of great significance in the modern history of Tibet.

There are Thangkas, which are cultural relics from the late Qing Dynasty, in the temple, and the mural carving art in the temple also has unique ornamental and research value. Once, General Zhang Jingwu arrived in Yadong via India and had a meeting with far-reaching historical significance. Up to now, there is still a "Talk Monument" in front of the temple.

【DAY 5 Finale】

Gamba County

From Yadong to Dingjie, I was on the road for almost half a day. I passed through Gamba Town and ate the famous local Gamba sheep at noon. After drinking and eating, I started a new journey. The journey was not boring. The road is straight and sleepy, with three steps and one turn, five steps and one bend, high mountains and grasslands one after another, and groups of black yaks can be seen leisurely eating tender grass from time to time.

The most amazing thing about this section of the road is the countless towering snow-capped mountains, one, two, three... even seven or eight snow-capped mountains are connected together. I don’t know their names, but they all have a kind of magic. It makes you reluctant to close your tired eyes, the beauty is indescribable, different and the same.

Qilin Gorge

Dingjie County has a little-known strange landscape, located under the Himalayas, it is a shocking ground crack, known as "an enlarged version of Terracotta Warriors and Horses".

When you come here, you will be shocked by its magnificence. It is like a huge and deep scar on the earth, and it is like an alien world light years away. He is Qilinxia Grand Canyon. The entire canyon is about 15 kilometers long, 100-200 meters wide, and 200 meters deep. The strange rocks in it sprung up like mushrooms after a spring rain, and grew into a strange forest composed of stones.
The Qilin Gorge at the foot is majestic and majestic, and the snow-capped mountains in the distance are majestic and majestic, half of heaven and half of hell, and the itinerary is in sharp contrast.

【DAY 6 fixed day】

One hundred thousand sand dunes

The next day, from Dingjie County to Rongjiagou, there are several lakes surrounded by endless sand dunes on the way. The sky is blue, the white clouds are white, the lake is blue, and the endless sand dunes seem to swallow everything. There are 100,000 sand dunes here, and the name is very appropriate.

The lake reflects the blue sky, and standing on the sand dunes, the deep shock of this vast natural landscape cannot be described clearly in a few words, any gorgeous words seem so pale. Only by standing here in person can you feel the power and beauty of nature.

Guandi Temple

It is hard to imagine that there is also a Guandi Temple in Tibet. It is located in Gangga Mountain, Gangga Town, Tingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, and is called the Everest Guandi Temple. This Guandi Temple is the highest Guandi Temple in the world.

The brand-new Guandi Temple stands majestically on the top of Gangga Mountain in Gangga Town, which is far away from Mount Everest. In the main hall, statues of the martial sage Guandi, the Tibetan national hero King Gesar, and generals such as Guan Ping and Zhou Cang are enshrined.

Rongjiaogou

The road to Rongjiagou is not easy. It is rugged and circling. Fortunately, the altitude turns sharply and there are beautiful scenery of snow mountains along the way.
In Tibetan, "velvet" means valley and ditch, and "jurisdiction" means east. It also has the extended meaning of "deep", which means the eastern valley or deep ditch.

As a long and narrow valley from northeast to southwest, Rongjiagou starts from Pozila and ends at the border between China and Nepal, with a length of about 55 kilometers. The terrain of the whole mountain range is high and steep, with vertical and horizontal gullies. The altitude of the valley drops from more than 5,400 meters to 2,100 meters, forming a drop of more than 3,000 meters; the valley is filled with fog all year round, humid and rainy; Layer upon layer. Walking through Rongjiagou, the mountain road is winding, with towering cliffs and Feiliu mountain streams on both sides, which is very beautiful.

It was almost evening when we arrived at Rongjiaogou, and Quwa Temple is located on the platform in the distance, which is also the intersection of Rongjiaoqu (river) and Mailongqu. Going further is Zuo Bude Natural Village. Leaving Zuobude Village and going down the ditch, 15 kilometers ahead is the border between China and Nepal.
From Zuobude up to the mountainside, here is Chentang Natural Village, the largest village in Rongjia Township, located on the open platform in the mountains. Opposite are the snow-capped mountains with an altitude of more than 7,000 meters such as Tseringma and Qiaogeru. They are majestic and magnificent.

【DAY 7 Lazi】

Everest Base Camp

Mount Qomolangma is the main peak of the Himalayas and the highest mountain in the world. It is located on the border between China and Nepal. Qudang Township, there is Mount Everest Base Camp), and the south is in Nepal.
In Tibetan, "Zhumu" means "goddess", "Langma" means "mother elephant", and the overall meaning is "mother of the earth".

The first time I came to the main peak, the excitement in my heart was indescribable. At the starting point of the transfer, I also witnessed the birth of the highest altitude operation record of Yutong electric bus. It was the first time for the Guinness World Records certification officer to be so close. The electric bus has been running on the main peak for more than 1,000 days, and the certification result is naturally an easy success.

The location that tourists can reach is the Mount Everest Altitude Monument. The altitude here is 5143. Almost all the people who can go here have adapted to the high-altitude environment. So close, here is the place that many people dream of.
Let’s popularize the height of Mount Everest here. The snow cover height (total height) used by Nepal and other countries is 8848 meters, which is consistent with the measured value of Mount Everest in 1975 by China’s surveying and mapping work; The surface height (bare height is the geological height) is 8844.43 meters. In 2005, the precise measurement and announcement of the elevation of 8,844.43 meters on the rocky face of Mount Everest was rigorously scientific and strictly legal.

gaula p.

The Jiawula Pass is a pass that must pass through after entering the Mount Everest National Nature Reserve and heading to the Everest Base Camp. Its altitude is 5210 meters. There are 14 peaks over 8,000 meters in the world, and 5 of them can be seen here.

In addition, the thrilling and exciting 108 turns are spectacular. Not only do you have to see it with your eyes, but you also have to experience it yourself. This kind of continuous curve will definitely leave a deep impression on you.

The view from the viewing platform is invincible. It is facing the 108th road, and there are continuous snow mountains in the distance. Colorful prayer flags are fluttering in the wind. You can write your own blessings and hang them on this sacred and beautiful pass.

Lazidui Harmony

I lived in Lazi County at night. If you also took the same Mount Everest loop as I did, you must not miss the local feature when you come to Lazi——Duixie.
"Dui" refers to the upper reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River from Lazi to Tingri County in Shigatse City and some areas in Ngari, that is, the higher terrain in Tibet; a kind of dance.

This kind of singing and dancing is most popular in Shigatse, and is often seen in open spaces, streets, courtyards and linksa. Lhazi Duxie originated in the Bhaspa period and has a history of more than 700 years. It is a folk song and dance art form that integrates singing, dancing, rap and playing that is spread in Lazi, Shigatse City.
Its content is rich and colorful, the performance rhythm is cheerful, the movements are smooth, free and easy, the artistic style is unique, and the melody is beautiful.

【DAY 8 Shigatse】

Sakya Monastery

Sakya Temple is located at the foot of Benbo Mountain, Sakya County, Shigatse, Tibet Autonomous Region. It is a Tibetan Buddhist Sakya Temple and the main temple of the Sakya Sect.
The Sakya Temple paints the temple walls with red symbolizing Manjushri, white symbolizing Guanyin Bodhisattva and blue symbolizing Vajrapani Bodhisattva, so the Sakya sect is also commonly known as "Flower Sect". There are precious Bayeux Sutra, Tripitaka "Bude Jialongma" and mandala murals of Yuan Dynasty, ancient porcelain and other cultural relics in the temple.

The temple is not big, with two floors. The architectural pattern of the temple is not like the ordinary temples. Many halls are hidden inside. The corridors and doors are very short and narrow. Most of the monks are relatively kind.

Sakya Thangka

In Shigatse, I visited a famous local Thangka master, learned about the Thangka production process, and saw many very exquisite Thangka finished products. The word Thangka comes from the transliteration of Tibetan, which means "the scroll painting of Buddha". Because of its unique drawing technique and rich Tibetan cultural connotation, it is unique in the splendid culture of the Chinese nation. The content of Thangka is mainly to express Tibetan Buddhism, and the themes involve social history, living customs, astronomy and geography, literature and art, and Tibetan medicine and medicine.

In addition to Thangka, Sakya County also has many rich cultural and creative industries, such as Tibetan incense, silverware, bronze statues and masks, etc. It is a small Tibetan city with rich culture and strong artistic atmosphere.

nijimla

Nijimla means beautiful. This is a very famous local cultural and creative base in Shigatse. Various Tibetan clothing with traditional essence and fashion elements gather here. Most of them are designed by the owner, Mr. Pupu himself. Mr. Pupu It is a woman who struggled alone, improved and designed the original Tibetan clothing, and created her own brand "Nijimla". Tibetan raw materials, traditional Tibetan silhouettes, Tibetan cultural aesthetics, and Tibetan national values are the source of her creations.

On the second floor, there is a small free Tibetan cultural museum. Thangka, Tibetan incense, spices, cloth art, etc. are all inclusive. There are also many historical and old objects displayed here. Teacher Pupu has also won many honors and countless trophies. Medals and award-winning works lie quietly in this small open private museum, waiting for people to discover and experience the surprises brought by these colorful cultural creations of Tibetan elements.

【Food articles】

Finally, I complained that I would definitely lose a lot of weight when I returned from a trip to Tibet. As a result, I gained 6 catties after the nine-day trip. This is all due to the Tibetan cuisine along the way. Special Tibetan meals, hot pot, fresh salmon, barbecue, etc., all meals have real meat and meat, but eat less vegetables, high-altitude areas consume quickly and easily get hungry. Reluctantly, in front of a real foodie, the temptation of food is far greater than the challenge of altitude, and finally returned home plump.
This is an unforgettable trip, no matter in terms of taste, vision or spiritual thought, walking through Tibet, Shigatse, and Mount Everest is an unforgettable experience in a lifetime, even if there are such and such conditions along the way, but give me A chance to choose, I will still start without hesitation, because the most charming thing about Tibet is that there will always be unknown expectations~
