National Highway 317 diverges from National Highway 318 at Xinduqiao, forming a north-south line. National Highway 318, which we take most often, is the southern line, which is dominated by natural scenery; National Highway 317 is the northern line. Although it is said that 317 is dominated by humanistic scenery, after walking this time, I found that in addition to humanities, natural scenery is also very good. Yulong Lacuo, also known as Xinluhai, is located on the 317 National Highway, Sichuan-Tibet North Line, at the foot of Queer Mountain, Manigange Township, Dege County, Ganzi Prefecture. It is a famous glacial lake in Ganzi Prefecture.

In Tibetan, "Yulong" means love, and Latso means holy lake. According to legend, Zhumu, the concubine of the hero Gesar in the famous Tibetan epic "The Legend of King Gesar", came to the lake one day. Coming down from Lengdagou, we settled in the King Gesar City, in the southeast of Ganzi County. It was built on the site of Gesar's epic "Huoling Battle". As the longest existing epic in the world, "Gesar" is one of the three epics in my country. Ganzi is the place where King Gesar and Ling Kingdom rose. There are more than 120 Gesar cultural relics in the territory.

In the city, 30 Tibetan villages with different shapes and styles were built in combination with the castles of 30 generals described in the "Gesar" epic. According to the ancient Tibetan style, the settlements form fortresses, and the vertical and horizontal lanes form.
