Northern Xinjiang Shuangfei Eight-Day Tour

This year's trip to northern Xinjiang was purchased on Double Eleven last year. Because of the heavy snow in the middle section, the bus could not drive too fast. When we rushed to the Wucaitan scenic spot at 19:33, it was just 3 minutes before the deadline for entering the park. The guides on the late buses tried their best to communicate with the scenic spot. But it is not allowed to enter. Some guests pushed the door irrationally and yelled loudly. Sometimes there is nothing to do, the rules are the rules, and if you don't follow the rules, you won't get anywhere. In the end, he couldn't accommodate, so he had to go back home.

I stayed at the Garden Hotel in Burqin County tonight. After packing my luggage, I looked for a mobile phone shop on the street. Due to the long distance run yesterday, everyone was tired, so the trip of the third day started at 9:00 in the morning. It took 20 minutes to arrive at the colorful beach that I didn't see yesterday.

Jiadengyu is the gateway to Kanas and the traffic gateway leading to the Kanas Lake Scenic Area. Because I got motion sickness again on the way to Hemu, I basically didn't eat much for the group meal in the evening. It was past 10 o'clock when I got the price key of the cabin in Hemu Mountain Villa. After washing and brushing the phone, I took a rest.

At around 8 o'clock in the morning, I was woken up by the sound of horses chirping next to the wooden house. I opened the window and was moved by the quiet and serene atmosphere in the small village.

At 1 o'clock after lunch, the bus carried us back from the northernmost tip of Xinjiang all the way to the south. The navigation shows tonight's accommodation: Fuyuan Evergrande Hotel located in Tacheng area, Bukser Mongolia Autonomous County and Shituologai Town is 340 kilometers away, and the time is about 6 hours. At the exit of Quia Expressway and Shtologai, a series of strict security checks such as nucleic acid testing are required again. I was on the bus all day this afternoon, and checked in to the hotel before 20:00. This 17-year-old four-star hotel is located in the eastern new district of the town. Except for its slightly remote location, it is not bad in other aspects. Since there is no group meal tonight, everyone will go out for food in groups. After spending 4 days together, I also got to know the whole team: Among the 28 people in the whole group, 18 people departed from Shanghai, 4 people from Hangzhou, 4 people from Guangdong, and 2 people from Beijing. We just eat the self-heating rice that comes with it, add some side dishes, and feel that it is okay.

The fifth day's itinerary is the World Devil City in Urho, 50 kilometers away. It is located in the Wuerhe mining area in the lower reaches of the Jiamu River in the northwest of the Junggar Basin, 100 kilometers southwest of Karamay City. This is a typical Yadan landform area. The Devil City is northwest and east-west, with a length and width of more than 5 kilometers and a radius of about 10 square kilometers. In fact, I left Devil City at 12:30, except for lunch and dinner time and two breaks in the service area, it was almost 10:30 in the evening when I arrived at the hotel and checked in. In the itinerary, there was originally a thousand-time performance in the Western Regions in Changji.

Because of the epidemic, it has not been opened yet, so I can only walk around at the door. According to Wusu tour guide, it can be regarded as having been here. The dinner that day was arranged at a Chaoshan Beef Hot Pot restaurant called Niu Very Fresh on Changning Road, Changji City. I observed that there were quite a lot of locals eating. We ate Chinese food with ten dishes and one soup. The dishes were rich and tasted very good. The Changji Dongsheng Hongfu Hotel I stayed in is a veteran hotel opened in 2008. The online double-standard price is more than 300 per night. It has complete facilities and has been renovated in 20 years. All in all the quality is pretty good.

Today is the sixth day of the itinerary. According to the contract, there are two shopping stores throughout the itinerary. In the morning, it takes two hours to shop at the Xinjiang Hetian Jade Trading Center.

Shopping is not mandatory, but from the perspective of a tour guide, it is of course best to be able to buy some jade according to each person's needs. If you don't buy it, as long as you stay for enough time, your personal feeling is understandable. The main attraction in the afternoon is the Turpan Flaming Mountains, 200 kilometers away. The Turpan area is an olive-shaped intermountain basin in the eastern part of the Tianshan Mountains, surrounded by mountains. The basin starts from the mouth of Alashangou in the west and ends at the west mouth of Qijiaojing Canyon in the east, with a length of 245 kilometers from east to west; the foothills of Bogda Mountain in the north; and Kurutage Mountain in the south, with a width of about 75 kilometers from north to south. On the way, we pass Dabancheng, which is famous all over the world because of the song "The Girl of Dabancheng". In fact, it is just a small town, and wind and sand are frequent visitors here. Karez is a special irrigation system in desert areas. Karez, the Great Wall and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal are also known as the three major projects in ancient China. The structure of Karez is generally composed of four parts: vertical shaft, underground channel, surface channel and small reservoir.

According to statistics: there are more than 1,100 Karez wells in Turpan, with a total length of 5,000 kilometers. Karez water is mainly used for farmland irrigation and residential water.

It can also be regarded as supporting the ordinary people in Xinjiang. At 8:30, we departed back to Urumqi again, and navigated to the Yema Silk Road Station Cultural Theme Salon in Urumqi, which is 200 kilometers away and takes more than 3 hours.

The hotel is super big, divided into several areas, there are more than 900 rooms, and the areas that are slightly further away need to be picked up by the hotel shuttle bus. The morning trip on the seventh day starts from Xinjiang Hetian Jade Mall. After two hours of shopping, many aunts in the group also bought their favorite Hetian jade pendants and bracelets. Lunch was eaten in a farmyard in Chengguan Town, Fukang City. Nang, 10 yuan a piece, was baked in the courtyard. The group members bought one, and each of us took a small piece to taste. It tasted good while it was hot. After dinner, I went to the Grand Bazaar of the Western Regions to buy local products, and tasted the old yogurt and camel milk of Xiyuchun. I felt that the old yogurt of Xiyuchun was more to my taste. After less than half an hour's drive, we arrived at Tianshan Tianchi Scenic Area at 4 o'clock.

Because it is the place where the Queen Mother bathes in the legend, Tianshan Tianchi was called "Yaochi" in ancient times. It is located in Fukang City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, on the mountainside of the northern slope of Bogda Peak. It is a natural scenic spot centered on alpine lakes. It is 100 meters east of Urumqi City kilometer. Tianshan Tianchi is 1980 meters above sea level, 3.5 kilometers long from north to south, more than 1 kilometer wide from east to west, and the deepest part is 103 meters. Tianchi Lake in Tianshan Mountain, with snow peaks reflected, surrounded by spruces, clear water like a mirror, and picturesque scenery, is a famous summer resort and tourist resort. The winding and upward mountain road from the entrance of the scenic spot to Tianchi is completed by the shuttle bus of the scenic spot, and the whole journey takes about 35 minutes.

It was already 6:30 from taking the shuttle bus to the exit of the scenic spot again. After another one and a half hours' drive, we arrived at the accommodation on the last night of the itinerary: Dingfu Hotel in the new urban area of Urumqi. Although the hotel's facilities are a bit old, they are generally not bad. The location is only 6 kilometers away from Diwopu International Airport. Machine is very convenient.

The flight back to Shanghai today is Jixiang HO1256 at 16:15 pm. I originally planned to go to the Xinjiang Museum in the morning to see the millennium Loulan beauty, but because the museum was closed for renovation during this period, I could only stay in the room and brush my phone all morning. I received a call from the driver at 1:30 to arrange a drop-off, and I was safe at 20:45 in the evening. Landed at Hongqiao, picked up luggage at 21:20, took the airport bus back to Suzhou at 22:00, and arrived home safely at 23:15.

The whole travel cost is about 2300 yuan: including 2000 yuan for the X journey travel agency, more than 100 yuan for the round trip of the airport bus, 20 yuan for the trip, and more than 100 for sporadic. It is roughly calculated that the 6-day journey by bus is at least 2,500 kilometers, so how big is Xinjiang, which accounts for one-sixth of the country's total land area. This trip is just a trip to northern Xinjiang, and the itinerary in southern Xinjiang can only look forward to the next time.
