At the beginning, I would like to put a few pictures to express the good mood of this trip.
If there is a place where you are there, and you start to think about how you will come back next time, then this place has long lived in your heart. Yunnan has been to some places, but only Dali has been to Dali many times and wants to come again, as if there is only one more time. Strange to say, every time you miss her, you will really come to her side...
Why do you favor her so much? Just because there are endless "wind, flowers, snow and moon" here?
Not only that, but here are the happy rivers and lakes described by Mr. Jin Yong, the purity of looking up to the sky and bowing your head or blue, the simplicity and enthusiasm of the Bai people, and the world of mortals that I can never let go of, and I am deeply attached to. This time I heard that Cangshan turned gray overnight on the night that Mr. Jin Yong passed away last year. I can't help feeling: The world is still like this, let alone me and everyone.
So a poem is left here, and also for this unforgettable trip to Dali:
Qing Ping Le
The autumn wind is thin,
A touch of ten-mile fragrance.
Pu'er has a light taste and the heart is slightly sweet,
Leaning on the balcony and singing.
Climb Cang Mountain to find white snow,
Watch the Erhai Lake and enjoy the bright moon.
Hope to see you soon,
The beautiful scenery is infinite.
【Sleep in Dali Hilton Hotel】
Going west all the way to Dali seems to have become a fashion for travel. I remember that once upon a time, many homestays suddenly appeared by the Erhai Lake, as if overnight, these homestays grew like bamboo shoots after rain on the east bank, west bank, Xiaguan, and beside the ancient city of Dali. Because people pursue the fashion of travel, business people will also chase after the hearts of consumers. When you come to Dali, staying in a homestay is an option, because it may be closer to the life and local atmosphere here. There are also some good homestays, and there are many doorways in them. Let’s not talk about B&Bs today. The last time I came to Dali, I stayed in the B&Bs in Xiaguan and Shuanglang, so this time, I just want to be a fairy and go to the beautiful world of mortals.
This time I chose Hilton Dali, which is the only five-star hotel in Dali City. Backed by Cangshan Mountain and watching Erhai Lake, the hotel enjoys all the beauty and convenience. You can sleep in the room and embrace romance, isn't it very romantic.
The hotel is located on the hillside of Foding Peak, one of the nineteen peaks of Xicang Mountain in Erhai Lake. It is 24.3 kilometers away from Dali Airport and 12.1 kilometers away from Dali Railway Station. It is 6.9 kilometers away from Cangshan Scenic Area, 9 kilometers away from Dali Ancient City, and only 1.9 kilometers away from Gantong Temple and Jizhao Temple. The geographical position is superior, and the transportation is also very convenient. Those who have been to Dali know that the ways to play in Dali are just: chartered car, rented car, taxi, electric car, bicycle, it depends on which way you choose. Therefore, although the hotel is on the middle of the mountain, it will not affect the convenience of transportation at all. Because wherever you are, you need a car to travel. And on the middle of the mountain, you can also have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake.
As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you have a wide view. There are "wind, flowers, snow and moon" here in the lobby, can anyone with a discerning eye see it? The hanging decoration in the lobby uses soft materials to transform the image of petals, thus interpreting the "wind flower". The background installation at the front desk is tie-dyeing with traditional Dali crafts, expressing deep affection for Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake and Moon. I don’t know if you can feel the care of the hotel design if you are careful. Since its opening in 2015, the hotel has won many awards. There are more than 360 guest rooms. Currently, we have jointly created a number of parent-child rooms with Ctrip. Each room is decorated very warmly and is suitable for parent-child families who come here. But this time, although I didn't bring my children with me, I chose the parent-child room here. I plan to come here to visit the class in advance, so as to prepare for the next time I come to Dali, Yunnan with my children.
【Sleeping in a hotel】
As soon as I stepped into the room, I was infected by the strong parent-child relationship. I quickly took pictures and took them home to show Tianhao. He will be very happy and will definitely clamor to come back with his mother. The warm yellow tone immerses the whole room in a warm embrace. There are small tents that children like, children’s slides, and many cartoon designs in the guest room. The Bai ethnic fabric with Yunnan ethnic characteristics, the welcome ceremony with exquisite table design and excellent food taste, the glass sliding door of the viewing balcony and the glass sliding door of the toilet echo each other, so that you can feel comfortable in the guest room or even in the bath You can feel the sultry scenery and tranquil blue charm here. In the bathroom, there are children’s towels, toiletries, and water toys on the bathtub. In the bathroom, there are toilets and small pedals for children. In the shower room, there is also a shower table for the elderly to sit on. These details show the warmth of the hotel. Heart affinity.
Although my son is not by my side, I feel sweet when I think that I can sleep here at night. And these welcome snacks, fruits, and desserts are super delicious.
Especially like these fabrics, these handicrafts with local characteristics of Yunnan, whether it is a slipper bag, a water cup cover, or a laundry bag, seem to give life and color to these seemingly inconspicuous things, so that you suddenly find that it is , We are too busy to ignore a lot of beautiful things that we look down on.
The favorite in the room should be this stand. From here, you can see the beautiful Erhai Lake. And this observation deck can feel a little different, with the artistic conception of overlooking, and the satisfaction of having a panoramic view. Listen to the wind and wash the sea, look at the deep, serene, and peaceful touch of blue from the bottom of your eyes to the deepest part of your heart, then you will suddenly feel at ease, and you can smell the deepest part of your heart when you concentrate and close your eyes. The heaviness of the place. But if you look around at random, you can see the romantic pastoral scenery of Dali. To be honest, I like the houses of the Bai people very much. I don’t know the specific reason. . It is also white walls and black tiles, and the smoke is curling up, which is not at all different from the gracefulness of Huizhou and Jiangnan. After a long time, it seems that the ink and wash are vivid on the paper.
【Play in the hotel】
In a small corner of the hotel lobby, some parent-child designs will also be incorporated, so that the parent-child families who come here can feel warm love no matter where they are.
The hotel is also equipped with a children's entertainment center, swimming pool, gym, etc., so that you can enjoy the fun of vacation while traveling in mountains and rivers. In addition, I also learned that the hotel is still planning to build a large-scale children's play center, which is currently under construction. After the completion, the parent-child fun will be full. Remember that this is really the most suitable hotel for parents and children in Dali Yes, none of them.
Parent-child projects at the Hilton Hotel in Dali, what I have to say is "equestrian experience". When you come to Dali, Yunnan, remember to ride a horse, but as far as I know, there is a place where you can ride a horse on the side of the Ximatan cableway in Cangshan Mountain, which is not as many as Lijiang and Shuhe. However, don’t worry, when you come to Dali now, you can experience parent-child equestrianism at the hotel without leaving your home. The horses here are all academic horses, professionally trained, very gentle, and very suitable for children to experience. The hotel has professional instructors, who can let the children learn to ride simply and hold the rein with one hand with a little effort. If you have a very good balance ability, you can also have the opportunity to experience the life of herding horses on horseback without holding the rein with both hands.
【Eating at the hotel】
Hilton Dali has three restaurants and a bar. Yuxi Chinese Restaurant mainly provides some Dali specialties, classic Cantonese cuisine and a selection of Sichuan cuisine series. It is recommended that you have dinner here for the whole family. The breakfast is buffet style. You can go to Xiang all-day dining restaurant to taste the local dishes of Yunnan, and of course there are many international flavors, such as: Japanese cuisine, French western food, etc. Lanyue Restaurant is currently being improved and made into a teppanyaki style. You can dine by the fireplace, of course, you can also choose to go to the outdoor terrace to enjoy the beautiful scenery while enjoying selected delicacies.
The afternoon tea on the landscape platform in the hotel lobby is an online celebrity product with a super full score. If you don’t come to check in, you will be out.
There are endless drinks of Pu'er and Iceland, which will give you endless aftertaste. There is also the authentic Guoqiao rice noodle, which is absolutely different from the roadside stalls in taste.
A very rich breakfast will put you in a good mood after the day.
The wonderful afternoon tea is definitely the love of little fairies.
【Look at the wind, flowers, snow and moon in Dali】
The wind, flowers, snow and moon in Dali are already very beautiful, but what makes me most nostalgic is the red dust here. In fact, it is called Hongchen because it has everything you want for travel. Look at the scenery: there are mountains, snow, sea, blue, cities, towns, islands, boats, houses, villages, seas of flowers, and idyllic poetry... these are not enough what? Then there are sunrise and sunset, and there is deep affection. Look at people: there are "rivers and lakes", there are children, there are Bai people, there are their little days together day after day, there are songs and dances... Are these not enough? Then there are traditional crafts and folk craftsmen. As diners: there are rice noodles, shredded bait, roasted milk fans, Jianshui tofu, Xizhou cakes, water-based poplar flowers, jasmine egg cakes, green vegetable tofu soup, braised yellow chicken, green plum beef, green tea rose cake...these are also Is it not enough? There are also brown sugar rakes, and various delicacies made from flowers. Either one is enough to satisfy your taste buds. Therefore, people who have been to Dali always feel that they have to come again, and each time is not the last time.
[Climbing Cangshan Mountain, enjoying the beautiful temperature among the turbulent wind and clouds]
Go to Cangshan, and you must take the Ximatan Cableway, and then punch in 3966. This is the biggest purpose of this trip. Because there were old people and children too young in the last trip to Dali, it has always been a pity that I couldn't come to Cangshan for a walk! This time the plane landed in Dali, the first thing after a little settlement was to go to Cangshan. My itinerary this time is actually two trips to Cangshan Mountain, one is to climb to the top of 3966, and I saw the endless scenery of Ximatan. The other time was to follow the Hilton Hotel in Dali and went to the most beautiful nunnery in China.
Each of the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain is extremely beautiful. Among them, Malong Peak is the highest, with an altitude of 4122 meters. Although it is no match for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Meili Snow Mountain, it is famous for its location in Dali and its unique scenery. Each of the nineteen peaks of Cangshan Mountain has a very pleasant name: Yunnong, Canglang, Wutai, Lianhua, Baiyun, Heyun, Sanyang, Lanfeng, Snowman, Yingle, Guanyin, Zhonghe, Longquan, Yuju, Malong , Shengying, Foding, Ma'er and Xiyang. Such a sweet and pleasant name, just listening to it makes me drunk, I don't know who named it, it seems like a fairy left behind. So, if you follow the famous name, you have the desire to find out.
To go to Cangshan Mountain, you have to take the Ximatan cableway to go to Ximatan, and then you have to climb another 1120 meters to see the beautiful scenery of Ximatan. Ximatan is mainly located on Yuju Peak, which is 4,097 meters above sea level. When you arrive at Ximatan, even if you have reached the viewing platform of Yuju Peak, you cannot fully climb to the top. After descending from the Ximatan cableway, we came to an altitude of 3,900 meters. After that, we had to go down for a while, and then go up. It may also be worried that some people will have high reactions, so this design can make everyone relax. During the mountaineering process, try to slow down as much as possible, and friends with better physical fitness can maintain a constant speed.
Cangshan Mountain is famous for many things. I just talked about the Nineteen Peaks. Now I want to talk about the unpredictable sea of clouds here. When the cableway goes up in the middle, it will enter the sea of clouds. At this time, you can deeply experience the breathtaking sea of clouds in Cangshan Mountain. When you climb to the top of the viewing platform, you can not only see a pool of Ximatan water, but also the Ximatan water that changes with the color of the sky and the color of the clouds and the moment when the wind is surging. Looking up, you can see the cloud-shrouded mountain peaks, and looking down, you can see this color-like pool of water. People with a rock-like heart may melt. Of course, if you can come here in the most beautiful March and April, you can really see the most beautiful Shangguan flowers. At that time, rhododendrons bloom all over the mountain, adding color to this sea of clouds. If you can come here in winter, you can see the white-headed Cangshan Mountain and experience the real snow of Cangshan Mountain.
From the Ximatan cableway to the foot of the mountain, it is still early, so you can go to Tianlong Babu Film and Television City for a walk. Before entering the film and television city, I was stunned by the "flying snow shoots the white deer in the sky, the laughing book hero leans on the biyuan" at the door! My heart can't help but move, it's been a year, and it's almost the first anniversary of Mr. Jin Yong's death. It's not just a coincidence to come here now.
Back then, Mr. Jin Yong only had a dream in Dali, and this dream became the world. When Mr. Jin Yong wrote Dali Kingdom, he had not yet known what Dali Kingdom really looked like. But today, the rivers and lakes carried by Dali Kingdom can be found in Tianlong Babu Film and Television City. Many people said that Tianlong Babu Film and Television City is not very interesting, and no one wants to go if the tickets are free. I just listen to it, and those of them can only understand it. It's like you ask a kid who only reads comic books to read the Four Books and Five Classics, can he tell the truth?
Dali's reputation is also thanks to Mr. Jin Yong's wonderful pen. Looking back, Mr. Jin Yong has a long history with Dali, and the depth of the relationship can be seen not only from the rivers and lakes he wrote, but also from the meaning behind him. The old man always claimed that he was from Dali in his previous life. In fact, if you have been to Dali, you may be able to understand some of its mysteries. Dali, a wonderful Buddhist country that believes in Buddhism, has an inevitable connection with the care and love of the old man. I think, this is like each of us will have a city that is a piece of pure land in our heart, a holy place to take refuge in our hearts.
Cangshan Ximatan Cableway ticket: Ctrip price is 280 yuan, the ticket includes (the whole section of the cableway + Tianlong Babu Film and Television City + round-trip traffic in the ancient city + battery car in the scenic area), and you can also buy the cableway ticket for the middle section.
Reminder: There are three cableways in Cangshan, Ximatan Cableway, Gantong Temple Cableway and Zhonghe Cableway. Please be sure to confirm the cableway you want to go to before departure. The opening hours of the cableway are: 9:00-16:30, the latest ticket exchange is at 2:00 pm, the time to visit Cangshan Mountain is generally more than 4 hours, the cableway is out of service at 4:30 pm, and the latest bus back to the city is It's 5:30 in the afternoon, so if you don't want to walk down the mountain to go home, plan your time well. The cableway ticket exchange is at the tourist service center outside the south gate of Dali Ancient City, and then there will be a shuttle bus directly to the cableway.
[Go to Cangshan Mountain again, and go to the most beautiful nunnery in China]
Many landscapes are only prosperous in the daytime, while many landscapes experience loneliness in the hustle and bustle.
Insert a few photos of Gantong Temple. This ancient temple is also very famous in Dali. It once witnessed the desolation of the ancient tea-horse road and the glory of the Cangshan pilgrimage. Although there is no past scenery, it can also participate in the loneliness of the present. Gantong Temple is not our protagonist today. The protagonist today is Jizhao Temple located between Dayun Hall and Poluo Temple. Just by looking at the name, it seems as if you can feel her silent beauty. And this beautiful temple is known as "the most beautiful nunnery".
Most temples will provide vegetarian vegetarian meals for passers-by. There are Jizhao Nunnery, and Gantong Temple also has them. However, I heard that most of the people who come here to eat vegetarian food go to Jizhao Nunnery, and those who go to eat vegetarian food in the nunnery can line up outside the door, so I feel a little more heartbroken Curious, what kind of temple is it, it will have such a great magic power.
(These three pictures were still taken when passing by Gantong Temple)
Finally climbed outside the gate of the nunnery, as if I could already smell the fragrance of flowers and plants in the garden. The biggest attraction in Jizhao nunnery is the fragrance of flowers and free vegetarian food, which attract countless good men and women, and the most beautiful nunnery can indeed be called the most beautiful. Just this garden full of flowers and plants is enough. All kinds of flowers, as well as green plants, are well maintained here. All the people who come here do not need to pay incense money, they only need to offer one flower and one grass. There is no need to be noisy here, just to appreciate the tranquility brought by meditation.
I especially lament the ubiquitous succulents in this temple, either lying in the soil, or planted in various wooden pots, or hanging on the cliffs, they are all so fat and cute, and some of them look like cabbage. Beautiful and delicious, hey, thinking about the succulents that are often half-dead at home, my heart is sore.
Approaching the inner courtyard, sure enough, diners have already crowded the small courtyard. The crowd queuing up for dinner can really line up in several rows, no less than a large group of people punching cards and playing games at Disney. There is no solemn and stern appearance here, but there is peace and tranquility in the heart. People who eat vegetarian meals are silent and eat the meals in their own bowls. The nunnery is filled with the scent of flowers and food, as well as the faint scent of tea from the tea room. Every first day, fifteenth day, and weekends, the nunnery will provide free vegetarian food and tea, so that ordinary people who visit can experience the Purdue sentient beings of Jizhao nunnery.
In other words, what is real practice? It is to pay attention to people's living conditions and observe one's inner world; what is the real influence and good deeds? It should be this kind of quiet beauty, the spring rain is as thin as silk, moistening things silently and silently.
Jizhao Nunnery is located in Cangshan Mountain, a five-minute walk up from Gantong Temple.
Reminder: There is a vegetarian restaurant in the market, but diners need to eat as much as they eat, and don’t leave leftovers. If there is a grain of rice left, they will be fined to kneel and wash all the dishes in the temple. People who come here must have a pilgrimage and a heart of silence. Loud noise and chasing and running are not allowed in the temple, let alone destroying flowers, plants and trees in the courtyard at will.
[Dali Ancient City, turn a page and read it to you]
The last time I brought my children here, I entered from the south gate of Dali Ancient City, and then wandered all the way, so I chose the south gate this time, because I have a complex here. How many gates does the ancient city have? You remember that most cities must be square, and there are only four gates. The east gate of the ancient city is the Erhai Gate, which can lead to Erhai Lake; the west gate, Cangshan Gate, where you can see Cangshan Mountain; the north gate is the Three Pagoda Gate, with a moat outside the city gate; the south gate is the Chengen Gate, and only the south gate has the inscription Dali.
The history of the ancient city of Dali can be traced back to the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty. The sixth king of the Nanzhao Kingdom decided to move the capital from Taihe City to Yangjumei City as its new capital, so the ancient city wall was built. After the decline of the Nanzhao Kingdom, the Dali Kingdom still used Yangjubai City as its capital. It was not until the Dali Kingdom was destroyed by the Yuan Dynasty that the history of this old capital ended. After that, it was not until the Ming Dynasty conquered Dali that the ancient city of Dali began to be built, which is also the city seen today. There is only one main street from south to north in the whole city, with streets and alleys criss-crossing from west to east, like the branches of a towering tree. What makes people sigh in the city is the uniform stone blue and black tile houses, and the city walls piled up with cobblestones, giving people a simple and heavy sense of reality. Especially when it is lit up at night, it is very beautiful.
There are several roads in the ancient city that must be clocked in. Needless to say, Fuxing Road, the main road, is the only avenue from south to north. On Renmin Road from east to west, there are shops everywhere. This is a good place for diners. On Renmin Road, you can see the leisurely life of Dali people. Foreigner's Street, this street known as the moat, is now a place frequented by many foreign friends. Many people say that the ancient city of Dali is not as prosperous and lively as the ancient city of Lijiang, but I say that it is a blessing that the commercialization here is not so strong. Only in this way can we experience the real comfortable life of Dali people in the ancient city.
If we say that walking in an ancient water town in the south of the Yangtze River and looking at gardens in Suzhou, every step of the way is full of scenery and love everywhere, and we are just the background in the scenery. Then, swimming in the ancient city of Dali, walking, you will feel more and more that you have become the protagonist of the story! This feeling is inexplicably good. There are mostly shops in the ancient city, doing small businesses, most of which are related to food and clothing. I think it is true that you can feel the atmosphere of fireworks. When buying clothes in the ancient city, most of them are handmade cotton and linen products, which are very comfortable to wear. If you buy jewelry or headscarves, there are many styles. You can choose at will, and there is always one that suits you. Flower cakes, roasted milk fans, Jianshui stinky tofu, various fruits, fresh mushrooms, snacks, and rice noodles can also be eaten in the ancient city. Every place will have its way of memory permeating to us. If we can find beautiful scenery on a good day, which can be lingering in the heart, warm and friendly to the skin, and have delicious food that lingers on the lips and teeth, that would be the best.
Finally, I want to say: Walking in the ancient city, I became the master without knowing it. If you can have a sweet dream when you go back, it must be a dream related to "Feng Hua Xue Yue" and "Emperor Dali".
It is said that the night in the ancient city of Dali is the most beautiful, as expected, maybe the patina and the warm golden lights are the best match, and it also makes the pedestrians at night feel their love.
Reminder: You can freely choose which gate to enter from the ancient city. If you are like me, you might as well enter from the south gate. Because the South Gate of Dali is next to the Dali Visitor Center, there is congestion most of the time. Please take a taxi to the nearby area and try to consider walking for a while.
【Xizhou, I love the touch of Dali blue】
Coincidentally, the last time I was in Dali, I didn't climb Cangshan Mountain, but this time I did it twice. The last time I came to Dali, I failed to go around the Erhai Lake to Xizhou, but this time, I was lucky enough to visit the ancient town of Xizhou twice. It seems that everything is to make up for the regret of last time.
It is said that the beauty of indifference is known only after being rich, and it is vividly reflected in the ancient town of Xizhou. This ancient town is not as hustle and bustle as the ancient city, but its history and luxury can be seen everywhere from the countless old houses of Ming and Qing Dynasties. The highlight of Xizhou may not lie in the sea view, but in the beautiful mansion and rural scenery. There are four major families and 12 small families in the ancient town, with a total of 24 famous business houses, all of which emerged in the period of the Republic of China. The merchant gangs in Xizhou were the three largest merchant gangs in Yunnan Province that controlled the import and export trade rights in western Yunnan at that time. one. It can be seen how rich a party was at that time. Most wealthy people build houses first after they get rich. That's why Xizhou Ancient Town has the deep houses of the four major families.
Today we just clicked on those deep houses. If you are a photography enthusiast, I highly recommend you to come to Xizhou for a walk, and you will definitely gain a lot. In the end, I didn't go into one of the courtyards of the four major families. It seems that there is another reason for coming to Dali next time. What we walked into with the Hilton Hotel Dali today are two traditional craft cultures in the ancient town of Xizhou, one is Jiama, and the other is the touch of Dali blue that cannot be let go. In Xizhou, you can see that touch of blue everywhere. This blue is not the sky blue and sea blue I mentioned at the beginning of the article, but the tie-dyed blue of Dali.
Let’s talk about Jiama prints first. Jiama, also known as paper horse or Jiama paper, is actually related to folk sacrifices. The ancients used coins and horses for sacrifices, and after Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty began to use paper horses as objects for offering sacrifices to ghosts and gods. Those who study Yunnan folk art often call this kind of print "Jiama Paper", or Jiama for short. Most of the original collectors of these prints were in Baoshan, Tengchong, Dali and other places, so they got their name directly.
And when we walked into Xizhou today, the traditional Jiama culture was hidden in the courtyard of this ancient town. We were very fortunate to walk into the courtyard and into the Jiama culture. I personally tried to print a pair of "Happy" to take home.
Under the guidance of the teacher, I successfully completed my Jiama work. This pair of God of Joy also means "all joy will be with you for a lifetime". The process of printing black and white prints is not complicated, but it requires carefulness, and the craftsmanship of engraving prints is exquisite. These prints are all carved by the owner of the shop himself, and he is also the successor of Jiama. However, the teacher was not in the store that day, so we couldn't meet each other. Is there another reason to come back next time?
Walk along the road to the end of the ancient town, well, it seems to see a piece of sky, this is the Internet celebrity check-in place in Xizhou Ancient Town, many new people come here to take wedding photos. Going forward, suddenly the vision is wide open. Fortunately, this time I came to Dali in autumn and saw the autumn scenery of Xizhou. The golden fields, the blue sky, the black tiles, and the white walls seem like an autumn ink painting. I want to stress again, I really love the architecture of the Bai people. Even though the mansions of the Ming and Qing Dynasties have long been lost to the scenery of the past, as long as the big walls are still there, as long as the patterns and patterns on the walls are still there, it will be beautiful when placed there. painting, and there is no sense of disobedience.
On the way to find that touch of Dali blue, I came across "Jijisi". I wonder if you can pronounce it correctly? I remember seeing this style inn in Huang Cheng's book, and I still remember the title at that time: If you understand it, you will be relieved. In other words, when I first saw the name of the inn, I was still a little dazed. After two seconds, I realized that this is the "Jijisi"! Sure enough, this is the predecessor of the Yang family compound. I heard that the Yang family originally planned to move out, but they didn’t welcome the final move, but they had no choice but to leave their hometown and go overseas. Hey, seeing all the prosperity is full of bitter tears. But now we see the owner of this inn whose pronunciation is a bit awkward, but he takes care of everything here very well. If you want to come to Xizhou to experience the homestay, haha, I’m borrowing flowers to present Buddha, I recommend you to choose his home. Although it’s in the ancient town, you can get there with a suitcase and a horse-drawn cart. Mainly, there are really stories here waiting for you to read.
Finally, we came to Lan Xu. Finally, I came to the side of my favorite touch of blue. Why do you say that Dali blue can be seen everywhere, and you have to go to Xizhou to learn tie-dye? Why do you say that you must choose Lanxu when you buy square scarves, scarves, decorations, etc.? Many people may know Dali Lan, but they don't know the story behind Dali Lan. Lanxu is the only brand in Dali that has been rated as an intangible cultural heritage. Now it has a chain of stores, but there is only one in the depths of a small town in the secret of Dali, which is the ancient town of Xizhou. You must be right to come here to experience tie-dye.
It is said that the Bai nationality village in Zhoucheng was just an ancient village on the ancient tea-horse road, but it became famous for its beautiful women and its tie-dyeing technique. However, for a long time, women who love beauty here are less and less doing plant dyeing, and more are choosing quick and low-cost chemical dyeing. Seeing that the traditional craftsmanship was about to disappear, a girl named Xiaobai resolutely quit her job in the capital and returned to her hometown to open the Lanxu Green Cultural Development Center. Since then, tie-dyeing technology has returned to people's in life. You know, the technique of tie-dyeing cannot be rushed, starting from the planting of Radix Isatidis, to making soil indigo, engraving, printing, tie-up, desizing, aging and dyeing for many times, and then to thread removal, drying, color fixing, rinsing... .Every process needs to be meticulous. If you are impatient, there will be mistakes. It's like pursuing love and a happy life, and you can't be in a hurry. You can't eat hot tofu in a hurry. The beautiful appearance of Dali blue on this cloth requires careful polishing.
In Lanxu, I followed the master to learn the process of plant dyeing and the principles of various plant dyeing. In their hands, sumac, isatis root, saffron, turmeric, gardenia... These seemingly inconspicuous plants have created a colorful world in the dyeing vat. In their hands, these cloths may be sewn, tied, or squeezed with tools, but at the moment they are opened, they become various patterns in your eyes. The charm of tie-dye lies in this process, as if writing poetry on the white scroll of life, it is very beautiful and very happy. Suddenly, another Hong Kong drama "Splendid Love" flashed in my mind, which told the story of Yanbu's life. In Lan Xu, you will more or less be immersed in this rich blue.
"Dye the water and clear the light, make the day thicker and the day lighter at will; the color of the cloth and silk can be made light or deep by human effort", have you read the story here?
Reminder: Xizhou is located on the west bank of Erhai Lake, so it is far away from the urban area and the ancient city. It is recommended to take a taxi, charter a car or drive there by yourself. The play time is generally 4-5 hours.
【Eating in Dali, leaving fragrance on the lips and teeth is the most pleasant thing about traveling】
As mentioned earlier, there are so many delicacies in Dali. The favorites are Guoqiao Rice Noodles, Small Pot Rice Noodles, Local Chicken Rice Noodles, and all kinds of rice noodles.
It is recommended here that everyone who comes to Dali must taste it, the jasmine egg cake and the watery flowers. The name of the water-based poplar vegetable sounds a bit like that, but in fact this kind of water vegetable grows in water and has been renamed by people. It tastes very tender and delicious.
When you come to Xizhou, you must eat Xizhou Baba. Xizhou Baba, which became famous because of "A Bite of China", makes people remember Xizhou as a place, not just the hometown of "Five Golden Flowers" Oh, there are also four major families, twenty-four companies, and the delicious food of Xizhou. For example, you can eat Guotao tofu in Xizhou, as well as Jianshui's stinky tofu, which has a special taste. These tofu are my favorite. I don't know why Jianshui tofu can be made so delicious. This also aroused my curiosity and decided to go to Jianshui for a walk.
