Written in front:

I won’t share my personal itinerary here. After all, I don’t think my route is so compact and reasonable, and there is no reference point. I just share my preparations and some experience of the scenic spots I have visited. The season I went to was regarded as the off-season of tourism. If it is the peak season, you should pay attention to arrange various queuing times. If you have other opinions, welcome to communicate. I hope this guide can be helpful to you (photographing technology is limited, Ctrip has a single photo size limit, update the photo as you like).

Update on December 15th: In fact, the amount of reading stopped a few days ago, but I always feel that I need to improve it to be a complete end to this trip, maybe because this trip has more impact on me than I expected Big, maybe I really liked this trip to Beijing. Even if I think about it years later, I will still remember that I flew to Beijing alone, the scenery I saw here, and the classmates I met here. Having said that, this time I just updated some pictures and supplemented some clerical errors, but the general content remains unchanged.

Clothes:

I went to Beijing in early December. Referring to the situation in early December, the temperature in the morning is usually a few degrees below zero. As a Cantonese who is in the north for the first time, if you go out early, it is generally recommended to wear at least one set of thermal underwear as a base layer, and then add Put on a sweater and down jacket, and other clothing depends on personal preference, such as hats, scarves, gloves and so on. It might be a little warmer at noon, but the wind in Beijing is quite strong, and sometimes it will feel a little cold when the temperature rises. Beijing starts to get dark around 4:00 p.m., and it’s nighttime around 5:00 p.m. The wind in Beijing is very strong after nightfall, so keep warm. The above suggestions are all for the outdoors. If you go to the suburbs, you may need to add some more clothes. The wind in the suburbs is very strong, and you will feel colder. There is heating in the room, so there is no saying that it is not warm enough...

Suggestion: If you go in January or February, the temperature should be a little lower than that in early December, and there may be snow, so you may need to add a sweater or something. Because it is the first time for me to go to the north from Guangdong, and I feel the strong wind blowing my brain aches when I first arrive there. My suggestion is that it is best to be fully armed from head to toe to slowly adapt to the northern climate. It is easier to keep out the cold in winter in the north than in the south.

Food:

There are not many strategies for eating and cooking, because some students in Beijing took them to try. If you want to experience Beijing-style food, you can try Beijing hot pot, roast duck, etc. Generally, you can order a variety of Beijing-style snacks in the store. Generally, there are many snacks with strange names and strange eating. …The name of the hot pot restaurant I went to was Donglaishun (the store is in Qianmen Street), the roast duck restaurant was Da Yali (it is said to be quite famous in the vicinity of Shoujingmao...), and Quanjude and other restaurants are also quite famous. In addition, other small shops such as Huguo Temple snacks are also a try. According to my classmates, I haven’t eaten any delicious ones for the time being, but as a tourist, you can also try it; Don’t know the taste), stewed and other special snacks. I ate breakfast at the hotel, and I also had a Beijing-style breakfast. I ate oil cakes, salty tofu, steamed buns, etc. The breakfast in Beijing is a bit heavier than Guangdong, so I don’t guarantee that I can eat it all. My classmate recommended that you go to Daoxiang Village (the name of the store) to buy some souvenirs before the return trip, mainly some pastries and other snacks. This time I wanted to go shopping before going home, but it was too late when I went there on the last day. .

Suggestion: Personally, I feel that it is not difficult to eat Beijing-style food when I come to Beijing for the first time. The main thing is to see if I can adapt to the taste of the capital. Otherwise, just eat some regular food. In addition, you can bring a cup or a bottle of water to go out according to your own situation, saving you from having to find places to buy water. Winter is still relatively dry, and the water at room temperature in winter may be a little colder than in Guangdong.

live:

I found a place to live in a rough way. I went directly to Ctrip, and I didn’t bother to compare prices on various platforms. Of course, there may be price differences between platforms. If I have time, I still recommend comparing prices. I choose Ctrip because I think the big platforms may be more reliable (the same is true for air tickets). I mainly consider two factors when choosing a place to live. One is that it is inconvenient to go to the airport, and the other is that it is inconvenient to go to scenic spots. These two factors are actually the distance from the subway station. Of course, the bus station can also be taken into consideration. Personally, I prefer to choose the subway for travel, and the bus has the uncertainty of traffic jams. The last place I chose was a hotel near Zhangzizhong Road Station of Metro Line 5. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the subway station. The location is in an alley within the second ring road, and the environment of the hotel is OK. It takes about 50 minutes from Zhangzizhong Road to Capital International Airport. If you need to wait for the subway, it may take about an hour. It takes about 30 minutes to take the subway to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and other scenic spots. There are also some scenic spots on Line 5 that are worth visiting. This Let's talk about it later.

Suggestion: In fact, at the beginning, I just thought it was inconvenient to go to the airport, but later I found out that Beijing is actually bigger than I expected, and it may take more time to go to many places than expected, so it is recommended to consider the time to go to the scenic spots superior. In addition, I didn't mention the quality of the hotel. In fact, the quality of the hotel depends on your nightly budget. The services of most hotels are still acceptable. Personally, I think daily rest is more important (some days I went back to the hotel to take a nap), so I will increase the budget of the hotel. The hotel I live in is Atour Hotel (for reference only), It's located in the alley, and it's a different feeling to go back to the hotel through the alley every day. I really like the night view of the alley. The facilities in the hotel are relatively complete. Free bottled water and hot water are provided every day, and the service of the staff is also very good. Yes, they will offer you tea when you are resting in the public reading area of the hotel, but breakfast is not included when I book. Some hotels on Ctrip require a deposit when booking, and it will be refunded automatically after check-in.

Row:

In fact, I haven’t tried those money-saving strategies on the Internet when booking air tickets. I still consider the time. I booked the air ticket to Beijing in the morning. Personally, I don’t recommend booking the one that arrives at night (unless there is a pick-up service or there is one) I don’t know much about calling Didi and taxis at night), because it’s not as easy to find a way at night as it is during the day, and it’s easy to miss the last subway bus, so I booked the plane at 9:30 in the morning. Fly from Guangzhou to Beijing (you can also consider flying from Shenzhen to Beijing. In addition, Beijing now has Daxing Airport, which feels a little far away from the urban area, so pay attention to comprehensive considerations when booking air tickets). If you can’t find a place to check in at the airport, just ask the staff directly. You should pay attention to knowing in advance what you can get on the plane and what you can’t bring. You should bring your power bank and ipad with you, and you can’t put your suitcase (required by the airport). When you return I also tried the self-service check-in and self-service luggage drop, because there are no people queuing up, but it is actually quite simple, and the on-site operation instructions are very detailed, which saves time. I use Ctrip to book tickets. You can choose seats in advance on Ctrip. When you arrive at the airport, you can directly check in your luggage and print your boarding pass. Yes, you can reserve seats in advance. I saw on the Internet that the seats near the wings may be noisy, so you can consider avoiding the seats nearby.

In addition, you still need to pay attention to the weather when traveling in winter. In case of snow, you must pay close attention to the flight information. In case of flight cancellation or advance notice of delay, you must promptly go to the airline website to change the booking. I use Ctrip APP and WeChat " The "Flying Changzhun" applet pays attention to my flight status. It snowed just before I went to Beijing. Although it is not heavy, there are still flight cancellations. This needs to be paid attention to.

It is around 12:40 p.m. to fly to the Capital International Airport. There are buses and subways from the Capital Airport to the urban area. Here you can choose according to the specific situation, or you can also take a taxi. I chose the subway. Here I suggest that you download both the Beijing bus and subway apps before going to Beijing on your own. The bus app is called "Beijing Public Transport" and the subway app is called "Yitongxing". Just register your account above and bind Alipay, just scan the QR code to ride the bus and pass through the gates, which saves you from buying tickets every time, and you can also apply for a public transportation card (you can return the card when you leave Beijing). You can take the bus and the subway, but you need two apps to scan the QR code...People who take the bus and subway in Beijing are used to slowly squeezing to the exit gate one stop in advance, and if you want to sit down, you have to be "active" Some, in the north, they will not be particularly polite (maybe it has something to do with my usual Buddhist style of ride-hailing), of course, everyone will still be courteous to the elderly and children.

From the Capital Airport to the hotel, I first took the subway airport line to Dongzhimen Station, Dongzhimen Station can be changed to Line 2 to Lama Temple Station, and Lama Temple can be transferred to Line 5 to Zhangzizhong Road Station (these map navigation will help you Calculated, sometimes there will be multiple transfer lines or a combination of subway + bus in the navigation, these need to be judged and selected by yourself), the hotel I live in is nearby, and the return route is the same, if you take a taxi or Didi just follow the signs to the designated location and call a car. You can scan the code when you enter the station on the Capital Line. When you transfer, you need to pay at a single place. It costs 25 yuan to go to the Capital Airport. If you travel by subway in Beijing, you must be prepared to transfer multiple times. In addition, not all subway stations in Beijing have elevators. Sometimes you may need to carry a suitcase to go up the stairs. However, it seems that the stairs also have lifting tools. If the luggage is too heavy You can consult the staff. Finally, I would like to remind you that there may be a large number of people on the subway bus during the peak period. You should pay attention to getting off at the door in advance. During the peak period (including 10:30 to 11:00 p.m.), you need to queue up to call Didi, and the driver is manual during the peak period. The order is not automatically dispatched by the system.

The following are introductions to some of the more famous attractions that I have visited:

First of all, the season I went was the off-season of tourism, and there were relatively few people, so the queuing time was not taken into account. If it is a peak season, you need to consider the queuing time of the scenic spots in advance. In fact, I don’t go to many scenic spots, mainly because my time schedule is relatively Buddhist. In fact, if the schedule is tight, I feel that I can go to a few more spots~

Great Wall:

I heard that the Great Wall is actually divided into many sections open to tourists, including Badaling, Juyongguan, Mutianyu and so on. In fact, the scenery has its own characteristics, and there is no particularly good saying. Badaling is more famous, and Mutianyu is said to be more known by foreigners according to the online strategy. If you want to go to Mutianyu, what I learned is that you can take Metro Line 2 and get off at Qianmen Station, then take Exit B, and follow the signs to find a place similar to a tourist bus center, where there is a section to Mutianyu There are many packages on the Great Wall bus, you can choose by yourself, or you can find the Mubus mini program on WeChat (official account? I didn’t go into it, I should be able to buy tickets according to the instructions above), I didn’t know about other sections of the Great Wall .

I went to the Great Wall at Badaling. To Badaling, you can also buy a ticket at the center of Qianmen Station. Just go to the Deshengmen bus station, because I just passed by Jishuitan Station), Deshengmen has a car directly to the Badaling Great Wall, the ticket is 12 yuan, and the card is 6 yuan. I don’t know if I can get a discount by scanning the code. The bus to the Great Wall is 877 and 919. Pay attention to the bus that goes directly to the Great Wall. The bus time to the Great Wall is about 70 minutes. If there is a traffic jam in the middle, you can also take these two buses for the return journey. Pay attention to the time of the last bus. In addition, Badaling can take a bus (like 879?) to the Ming Tombs. This is also a famous scenic spot, but I don’t know much about the relevant history, so I didn’t go this time. I went directly to the city after visiting the Great Wall.

I bought the tickets on the WeChat official account of the Great Wall. Now the Great Wall is unified to buy tickets on WeChat, so it is recommended to buy them in advance. I recommend buying tickets for the Forbidden City and the Great Wall at least one day in advance to avoid all kinds of unexpected situations where tickets cannot be bought. The flow of the Forbidden City and the Great Wall is limited every day. During the peak season, it is necessary to consider that the attractions may be full. Personally, there is no need to buy tickets for various cable cars and pulleys on the Great Wall. It is actually no problem to walk up the city.

When you arrive at the Great Wall, just follow the signs. Badaling is divided into north and south sections. The northern section is relatively steep, and the southern section is easier to walk. Reserve at least half a day for visiting the Great Wall. The Great Wall is very windy, and you are also in the suburbs. Be careful to keep warm. I have tried to hold on to the handrails to move forward when I was blown by the Great Wall. In winter, it is recommended to start over at the Great Wall. Armed to the feet. If you encounter snow, it is recommended to know whether you need to prepare various anti-skid and snow-proof equipment in advance. Once the preparations are done, it’s good to go shopping slowly when you arrive at the Great Wall. It’s quite a feeling to look at the distant land on the Great Wall.

Forbidden City:

The Forbidden City is just behind Tiananmen Square. To go to the Forbidden City, you can take a bus to Donghuamen or Xihuamen and then walk to the entrance of the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City is unified to enter from the Meridian Gate and exit from the Shenwu Gate. I feel that the Forbidden City and the Great Wall are the two most physically demanding attractions. I suggest putting one of them on the first day, and then go to the other at least one day later. Tickets for the Forbidden City can be purchased from the official ticket system (https://weigugong.dpm.org.cn/ticket). It is also recommended to buy tickets at least one day in advance. In addition, you can consider renting a headset to explain on the spot. There are many buildings that you don’t know In terms of usage, the explanation will be much clearer.

The Forbidden City is worth a day to visit. There are many landscapes and architectural details that cannot be conveyed by photos, so it is recommended to spend a day shopping. Be aware that the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays. The Forbidden City is off-season from November 1st to March 31st of the next year, and the closing time is 4:30 pm. My tour route is to first visit the three main halls (the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the Hall of Central Harmony, and the Hall of Preserving Harmony), and then go to the West Sixth Palace after coming out of the Preservation Hall, and then go to the East Sixth Palace (the Clock Hall and the Treasure Hall are also Here), after shopping on both sides, go to the Qianqing Palace and the Imperial Garden. In fact, there are many routes. There is no so-called optimal route, and there is no need to pursue a route that does not turn back. It depends on your own preferences. In addition, if you want to visit the Clock Museum and Treasure Museum in the Forbidden City, you need to buy additional tickets.

There are quite a lot of souvenir shops and restaurants inside and outside the Forbidden City. There is no need to buy and buy as soon as you encounter a souvenir shop. It is not too late to buy at the end. In addition, the Forbidden City can bring food in, and you can solve lunch by yourself or eat in the restaurant inside. The restaurant inside is just regular fast food.

If you can take the time to learn about the Forbidden City in advance, it will be more helpful for the play experience. Of course, it is also possible to rent an explanation headset, and there are also special guides that can be rented. It will be easy to feel confused if you go shopping alone. In addition, you can buy a map or know the layout of the Forbidden City in advance. The Forbidden City is really big.

The exit of the Forbidden City is the Shenwu Gate. From the Shenwu Gate, you can choose to climb the tower to have a bird's-eye view of the Forbidden City at a close distance. It should be noted that if you do not have enough physical strength, you can walk on the Shenwu Gate for a while, and it is best to return the same way. , If you keep walking along the gate tower, you can walk back to the entrance from Shenwumen, which is near the Meridian Gate. The distance is still a bit far, and when you come out from Shenwumen, you will usually go to Jingshan Park on the opposite side to have a bird's-eye view of the Forbidden City. If you go to Jingshan Park from the Meridian Gate, it will be a bit far. Generally speaking, you only need to have enough physical strength to visit the Forbidden City, because it takes about 5-6 hours to walk (including going to Jingshan Park).

Jingshan Park:

Now let’s talk about Jingshan Park. In fact, Jingshan Park can be used as a scenic spot alone, and the scenery inside is also good. It can be understood as a luxurious version of Huangqi Mountain. If you are interested, you can spare about 2 hours to go shopping.

I arrived at Jingshan Park around 3:40 in the afternoon. The entrance ticket seems to be 2 yuan, and the bus card is 1 yuan. If you are afraid that there will be too many people in line, you can buy tickets in advance on the official account. When I went, there were not many people, so I just lined up and bought them. It takes less than 20 minutes, or half an hour at most, from entering the garden to seeing the Forbidden City from the top. In this season, the sun starts to set at 4:00 p.m. in Beijing, and there will be many people looking at the panoramic view of the Forbidden City at the bird’s-eye view point (actually called Wanchun Pavilion). The Forbidden City in the sunset is still very beautiful. In fact, if you are not interested in visiting the Forbidden City, it is also possible to go directly to Jingshan to have a bird's-eye view of the panorama. There is also a standard Beijing center mark on Jingshan. Remember to look around, don't just pay attention to the side facing the Forbidden City, the surrounding scenery is very good.

There is a bus stop (Forbidden City Bus Station) in front of the entrance of Jingshan, and it is very convenient to travel.

Tiananmen Square:

Tiananmen Square is right in front of the Forbidden City. It is very convenient to go to Tiananmen Square. You can take Metro Line 1 and get off at Tiananmen East or Tiananmen West Station, or you can take Metro Line 2 and get off at Qianmen Station. I don’t know the route of the bus (of course. All scenic spots can be called Didi and taxi, so I won’t mention it here). There seem to be quite a lot of lines to enter Tiananmen Square. My route is to get off at Qianmen Station on Line 2, come out from Exit A, and follow the signs to Tiananmen Square. Before entering Tiananmen Square, you need to go through security checks and swipe your ID. Passport (entering the number is also ok), it is recommended to prepare it in advance. In addition, the Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall is also in the square. It is free to enter and visit, but the flow will be limited every day, and bags, mobile phones and other items cannot be entered. If you want By the way, you need to deposit your bags in advance. There are related storage points near the memorial hall, but I don’t know if there is a charge. There are also scenic spots near Tiananmen, such as the Great Hall of the People, the National Museum, the Railway Museum, and the National Grand Theater. You can choose to visit at your own discretion (I didn’t go this time...) The wind in Tiananmen Square is quite strong, so keep warm.

If you want to watch the flag raising, you can find the flag raising time on the Internet. My suggestion is that if you want to have a good location, it is best to arrive at Tiananmen Square at least one hour in advance. Even in the off-season, there are many people watching the flag raising .

If you walk in the opposite direction after getting out of Qianmen Station, you can see the place where you can take a bus to the Great Wall, which can be used as a reference for the travel route; Qianmen Street is also nearby, and there are many places to eat on Qianmen Street. All stores can be found here.

Wangfujing, Xidan:

Wangfujing and Xidan are not far from Tiananmen Square. Wangfujing Station of Metro Line 1, Dongdan Station of Metro Line 5 (you can transfer to Line 1), and Dengshikou Station of Metro Line 5 can reach this area. The same reason I didn't check the bus route carefully, because the subway is more convenient for me to travel. This area is full of shopping and shopping. I don’t have any suggestions. I’ve been here twice, that is, just wandering around. If you’re interested in shopping, you can take your time. The same goes for Sanlitun. .

Temple of Heaven:

To get to the Temple of Heaven, you can take Metro Line 5 to Tiantan Dongmen Station. The ticket for the Temple of Heaven seems to be 20, but I recommend buying a joint ticket, which can see all the attractions inside. Heaven recommends arranging 1.5-2 hours to go shopping. My friends and I arrived at the Temple of Heaven at 3:00 p.m., and ended up watching the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests for an hour. It turned out that it was getting dark and we didn’t finish our shopping. The Temple of Heaven is quite big. The Temple of Heaven is actually a park, but the attractions inside are more beautiful than other parks, so the tickets are a bit more expensive. Of course, the Temple of Heaven is also a large area. I think it is also a scenic spot worth visiting.

In addition, you may have heard of the Temple of Earth. You can take Metro Line 5 to Hepingli North Street Station for the Temple of Earth. The ticket for the Temple of Earth is 2 yuan. The general feeling is that it is a relatively ordinary park. There are not many tourists visiting it. It is an old man living nearby, and the area of the park is not large. Shi Tiesheng called me and the Temple of Earth in an article, and the current Ditan Park still has the sense of decay described by Shi Tiesheng (my personal feeling). If you have enough travel time, you can consider walking around. The park itself is quite quiet and suitable for contemplation.

Nanluoguxiang, Shichahai

These two places are near each other and not far from where I live, so I left together. Of course, Beihai Park is also nearby, and Beihai is not far from Jingshan Park. At that time, I didn't visit Beihai because of the schedule.

Nanluoguxiang is actually a place to go shopping in all kinds of alleys. In fact, I didn’t pay much attention to how to go shopping or take pictures. The main purpose was to experience the atmosphere of old Beijing. In fact, the place where I live is also in the alley. I feel that it is similar to Nanluoguxiang, so I just walk around in Nanluoguxiang. In fact, I may miss some beautiful attractions. Nanluoguxiang has a road similar to the main street, with various commodity stores and snack bars on both sides. In addition, the map of the entire scenic spot will appear every once in a while to remind you of your current location.

It is not far from Nanluoguxiang to Shichahai. I went there in the morning. The scenery of Shichahai is quite beautiful. You can choose to take a human-powered cart to go around, and the driver will explain something to you. I chose It's only half a circle on foot, and it's suitable for a walk here. There is also a bar street in Shichahai, which must be quite lively at night.

Bird's Nest, Water Cube:

You can take Metro Line 8 to Olympic Park Station (transfer to Line 15) or Olympic Sports Center Station. I just went to take a few photos at night, because I heard that the lighting effect is better at night, and there are fewer people. I didn’t take a good look around the entire Olympic Sports Park. If you have time, I suggest you take a good look. It seems that you can buy a ticket to visit the Bird's Nest Water Cube during the day, but this trip did not go here during the day.

At last:

This time, because I went to find my classmates, the daily itinerary was actually a bit messy, and I didn’t pay attention to the location relationship of each scenic spot at the beginning. I went to some places of personal interest, such as some bookstores and CD stores; in addition, I went back to the hotel to take a nap in the middle of two days, and one day I didn’t go out until almost 10 o’clock. In fact, the schedule can be tighter (I’m too tired from walking... ). Among the scenic spots that I haven’t visited, I recommend going to the Summer Palace. In addition, my parents also recommend going to Yongwang’s Mansion, the National Grand Theater and the National Library. I also wanted to go this time. Also, if you catch up with the weekend, you can make an appointment online to visit Tsinghua University and Peking University. The appointment address can be found directly on the official websites of the two schools. If you know someone in the school, you can directly inform them to bring them in. The same is true for other universities in Beijing. . You can also consider taking a sightseeing bus.

It does take a long time to go around Beijing. The scenic spots in the capital give me a slow-paced feeling, but Beijing itself is a fast-paced city. Maybe this is also an interesting thing. Generally speaking, Beijing It is a city worth visiting again. I hope that you and I will be in a better shape next time we meet in this city.
