Nyingchi, known as the "Snowy South of the Yangtze River", is located in the lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, with an average altitude of 3,000 meters and a minimum altitude of only about 150 meters. It has a humid climate and rich vegetation. People miss her beauty (most tourists enter Tibet in August and other peak tourist seasons). In line with the purpose of "the most beautiful season to the most beautiful place", I deliberately avoided Nyingchi during the Tibet tour in August last year, and only waited for the next year when the peach blossoms were in full bloom, and then came to the sea of pink flowers to really feel the ten miles of the Three Lives Three Worlds The romance of peach blossoms.
From late March to mid-April every year, Nyingchi, located in the southeast of Tibet, is already a sea of flowers. Snow-capped mountains, meadows, sea of flowers, villages, blue sky, white clouds, lakes, streams... The beautiful scenery like oil paintings is like a dream, like a fairyland. The traditional route for visiting Nyingchi (the essence of the 3-day tour in various travel guides) is mostly Lhasa-Nyingchi-Lhasa. The time is tight, and it is often impossible to go to or visit Bomi in depth (I personally think that this is the most beautiful place to watch peach blossoms), It is really a big shortcoming of the flower viewing tour, so it is not considered. After repeatedly consulting a number of guides and clarifying the opening time of the Peach Blossom Festival on the Internet, I made my own itinerary (the best time to watch the Peach Blossom Festival is definitely during the Peach Blossom Festival), the route is Nyingchi-Lulang-Bomi-Nyingchi, a long-awaited peach blossom journey Thus began the journey.
Preparations before travel:
1. Air ticket booking
There are many tourists during the Peach Blossom Festival, and air tickets are often hard to find, so book in advance on Ctrip. There are not many flights in and out of Nyingchi from Chengdu (1 or 2 more flights are usually added during the Peach Blossom Festival), all in the morning (good for sightseeing on the day); most flights out of Nyingchi are in the morning, so it is better to book round-trip tickets in advance.
2. Hotel reservation
All hotels are booked in advance on Ctrip, otherwise there is a risk of having no room during the peak season. Since the flight from Chengdu to Nyingchi departed at around 6:00 in the morning, we had to queue up for the security check at 4:00 (more people), so we arrived at Shuangliu Airport from Shanghai one night in advance and stayed at the Chengdu Airport Hotel. The hotel is right in the airport, the accommodation is good and there is free pick-up and drop-off service. Nyingchi has many recommended B&Bs and inns to choose from, but because I have some cleanliness, I am very picky about hotels. I chose Wuzhou Crown Hotel in Nyingchi, which is very good. The accommodation conditions in Bomi are poor, so I chose a newly opened Huating Hotel with a clean reputation.
3. Chartered car
The scenic spots in Nyingchi are scattered, and the beauty of peach blossoms is mainly distributed along the 318 National Highway, and the best places to enjoy flowers are mostly on the road. If you want to enjoy the tour, it is recommended to charter a car (especially for those who love to take pictures). There are many options for chartered cars, and many travel websites have been recommended, so you can contact them yourself. The general models include ordinary cars (about 1,000 yuan/day), ordinary off-road vehicles (5 seats, 1,200/day), ordinary commercial vehicles (9 seats, 1,300/day), high-end off-road vehicles (5 seats, 1,600/day), high-end Business car (9 seats, 1600/day). Although there are only 2 female compatriots in our group, for the sake of comfort, the local guide contacted on Ctrip chose an off-road vehicle. Pay a deposit of 400 yuan on WeChat in advance, and the rest will be paid at the end of the tour. After booking the car (booked 4 weeks in advance), you can fully communicate with the car owner and put forward your intentions and tour requirements; the chartered car masters are generally experienced and can show the most beautiful scenery in front of you.
4. Material preparation
1. Single-lens reflex or mirrorless single-lens is a must, because many Taohua villages are distant views, it is best to bring a telephoto lens (I don’t have it and now I regret it), enough batteries and memory cards.
2. You can bring some simple high-calorie foods. Before traveling in a chartered car, prepare enough mineral water and a little dry food in the car. At present, Linzhi's food and drink are very convenient, so there is no need to prepare too much.
3. As for the altitude sickness, it is basically not likely to happen, and it is fine for most people (anyway, my body survived the first day after the stitches were removed). You can prepare some commonly used medicines for travel.
4. Just carry some regular travel supplies. If you are picky about accommodation and cleanliness like me, it is recommended to bring some disposable bed sheets and quilt covers and toilet supplies (you can buy them on Taobao, which is very convenient).
Everything is ready, and after the opening of the Peach Blossom Festival, the long-awaited Nyingchi Blossom Tour begins!
D1 Chengdu - Milin Airport - Peach Blossom Avenue - Confluence of Rivers - Brahmaputra Grand Canyon - Zhibai Village, Nanga Bawa Peak - Suosong Village - Niyang River - Nyingchi Bayi Town
Take the Air China flight from Shuangliu Airport at 6:15 and arrive at Nyingchi Milin Airport at 8:20. The airport is located in a valley, surrounded by clouds and mist, full of fairy spirit. After getting off the plane, the chartered driver is already waiting at the airport. Drive straight to the bank of the Yarlung Zangbo River and watch the sand dunes of the Buddha's palm; then look at the confluence of the Yarlung Zangbo River and the Niyang River. Facing the face, the scenery is beautiful, and it is a blockbuster in just one shot!
Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon: The deepest and longest canyon in the world, with an average altitude of about 3,000 meters and a length of about 500 kilometers. It was selected as the top ten most beautiful canyons in China and praised by hikers as "the last secret place of mankind". After entering the Grand Canyon Scenic Area from Pai Town, change to the sightseeing car in the scenic area. Youpai Town-Observation Deck-Zhibai Village, watch Nanga Bawa Peak from different angles, and watch the beautiful canyon scenery along the road.
Namjagbarwa Peak: Namjagbarwa Peak, rated as the most beautiful mountain in China by China National Geographic, is 7,782 meters above sea level. It means "the spear that pierces the blue sky" in Tibetan. The huge triangular peak is covered with snow all the year round, and the clouds and mists are misty, so it is difficult to reveal the true face. It is said that only those who are destined can meet each other—here I have to boast about our good character! In the past few days, I can see the beauty of the holy mountain every day, so I don’t want to be excited! The main places to watch the holy mountain are: Namjagbarwa Peak Observation Deck, Zhibai Village and Suosong Village (in the scenic area) ; Sejila Pass and the entrance of the Grand Canyon (outside the scenic spot). No matter looking from a distance, looking up or looking down, the misty snow-capped mountains, the flourishing peach blossoms, the green Brahmaputra River and the sporadic villages constitute a beautiful picture of a paradise, which is breathtakingly beautiful and hauntingly dreamy! The only regret is that I didn't take pictures of the beautiful scenery of Rizhao Golden Summit, but if there is a trace of lack, how can it not be a different kind of beauty? !
Zhibai Village, Suosong Village: Both villages are located in the scenic area of the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon, facing each other across the river. Zhibai Village is at the foot of Namjagbarwa Mountain, and Suosong Village is on the mountainside, facing Namjagbarwa and overlooking the Yarlung Zangbo River. Many photography enthusiasts choose to live in Zhibai or Suosong Village (both villages provide accommodation, but the conditions are more difficult), just to guard the true face of Nanga Bawa.
Niyang River: It is a tributary of the Yarlung Zangbo River and the mother river of Nyingchi Gongbu Jiangda. Tibetan means "tears of the goddess". The beauty of the Niyang River lies in its water, which is emerald green and clear like the lake in Jiuzhaigou. Go out of the Grand Canyon Scenic Area to Bayi Town, where the scenery along the Niyang River is beautiful and pleasant.
Bayi Town: At the end of the day tour, we finally arrived at Bayi Town in the center of Nyingchi before dark. Small town, but clean. After repeated comparisons, the Wuzhou Crown Hotel was selected as a 5-star hotel. Although it is not as large as the mainland hotels, it is clean and comfortable. When I checked in, I encountered many tourists who were disappointed and left (we were told that the room was full), and I couldn't help but feel relieved (fortunately, it was booked). Maybe the reservation was made earlier (more than a month in advance), but we couldn't find our order, so we quickly communicated with Ctrip, and it was immediately resolved satisfactorily (I have to praise Ctrip for its strength). If you book a business landscape room, you can see the scenery of the Niyang River outside the window. The room type is good, spacious and comfortable, with 24-hour hot water (this is very important, many hotels in the plateau area cannot do it), and the wet and dry shower room is very large. It was getting late after check-in, and I didn't want to go out for food, so I decided to go to the hotel's Chinese restaurant to "taste" a meal. There are not many people (already close to nine o'clock off work time), the waiters are very enthusiastic and the service is very good. 2 people ordered 4 dishes, the taste is good, even the dishes that are not on the menu can be made according to our requirements. Being able to eat such delicious food in Tibet, and the total cost at the checkout was less than 200 yuan made us very satisfied, so we chose to eat at the hotel's Chinese restaurant when we checked in.
D2 Linzhi - Gala Peach Blossom Village - Sejila Pass, Namjagbarwa Peak - Lulang Linhai - Tongmai Natural Danger - Ancient Township - Bomi County
Gala Peach Blossom Village: After waking up naturally, after enjoying a rich breakfast and completing check-out procedures, the driver, Master Huang, is already waiting in the lobby. Near noon, head to Gala Peach Blossom Village, the location of the opening ceremony of the Peach Blossom Festival. Gala Peach Blossom Village, also known as Peach Blossom Valley, is located in Bayi District, Linzhi City. It is close to the urban area and has convenient transportation. It is often the place for the opening ceremony of the Peach Blossom Festival. The place is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the peach blossoms all over the mountains are competing for splendor and splendor. During the Peach Blossom Festival, there are also cultural performances in the scenic area. Many local people are watching the show with great interest, and the children are playing and chasing happily. It is very lively! In the fields, under the trees among the flowers, tourists with various "long and short cannons" have different postures, each depicting the most beautiful half-acre flower field in their hearts...
Sejila Pass, Lulang: Leave Gala Village and drive to Lulang. Driving to the Sejila Pass at an altitude of 4,728 meters, I saw white snow and fluttering prayer flags. Looking up, the majestic Nanga Bawa Peak towers into the clouds, and the sea of clouds and forests complement each other in the distance. Leaving Sejila Pass, came to Lulang. Lulang is 3,700 meters above sea level. It means "Dragon King Valley" in Tibetan. It is a long and narrow plateau mountain meadow (Swiss style), and the most beautiful scenery is the forest sea. Since the scenery at this time is mediocre (spring has not yet arrived, it is said that the most beautiful scenery is in autumn), so I didn't stop there, just went straight to the new area of the town to have a look. The town is not big, the construction is good, and the streets are neatly planned. Almost every store in the town has the famous dish of Lulang Stone Pot Chicken. The soup is fresh and the meat is tender. After eating and taking a nap here, continue along National Highway 318 to Bomi.
Dispelling Clouds—Tongmai Natural Danger: After walking through the fresh air of the natural oxygen bar (Linhai), you will come to the most dangerous Tongmai Natural Danger on the legendary Sichuan-Tibet Highway. Master Huang specially took us to see the former Pailong-Tongmai Highway: the narrow roads are all along the cliffs of the mountains. Once it rains, it will be muddy and difficult to walk. There are often mudslides and landslides, so there is a "Tongmai Road". In addition, the former Tongmai Bridge can only be used by one vehicle in one direction, and there are often large-scale traffic jams. It often takes several hours or even ten hours to go to Bomi for a short distance of more than ten kilometers. You need to stay in Lulang, and then go on your way early the next morning. Today, the newly opened Paiyun Tunnel and the wide two-way Zhuilonggou Bridge have made Tianzhu a thoroughfare, and the travel time has been shortened to tens of minutes. The previous "Tongmai Natural Danger" is now a memory!
Guxiang Lake: After passing through the Paiyun Tunnel, continue along National Highway 318 and come to Guxiang Lake. The lake is 2600 meters above sea level and is a freshwater barrier lake. Beaches, lakes, dead branches, snow-capped mountains... the quiet lakeside, with few people. Standing quietly by the lake, after a while, the mind is as calm as water, suddenly enlightened (an excellent place to wash away impetuousness in the world). Before, the master suggested to stay overnight in Guxiang Manor, so that you can play tomorrow without going back, but considering the accommodation conditions, I decided to stay in Bomi County.
Bomi: Go on for about half an hour, and finally arrive at Bomi County, and it is already night to find Huating Hotel. The hotel has only opened for a short time, and it is similar to the previous inland guest houses. The rooms are small and clean, but they are still covered with their own disposable sheets, quilt covers and pillowcases (I can't afford to hurt my cleanliness). After checking in, it was already eight o'clock, and I rushed to the "Handsome Guys Restaurant" immediately. The restaurant is not far from the hotel, just a few minutes walk. When I went in, it was full! I had no choice but to share seats with the two young couples next to me. Very authentic Sichuan-style dishes, generous portions, cheap price, 4 dishes for 2 people can't eat at all, super cost-effective - I can't help but recommend it here! I have dined here for 2 days in a row, and every time it is overcrowded.
D3 Bomi - Galang Lake - Runa Village - Qingduo Town - Xumu Township - Bomi
Today's route is the most classic route for viewing flowers in Bomi, which can be easily visited.
Galang Lake: Braving the misty drizzle, we came to Galang Lake. Galang Lake, also known as Galang National Wetland Park, is surrounded by green hills, green grass and beautiful natural scenery. On the other side of the lake, the peach blossoms are in full bloom, and the unique style of houses is dotted during the period. Once again, I regret that I didn't bring telephoto, and I couldn't leave the unspeakable beauty! This is really a big mistake in this trip to Nyingchi, and I still suffer from it...
Bomi Taohuagou: Bomi Taohuagou mainly refers to the 30-kilometer distance from the intersection of Zhamu West 318 National Road and the road leading to Qingduo to the front of Qingduo Town. It can be called one of the most beautiful roads in China! The sea of flowers along the way, the clear water meanders, the red walls and blue tiles, the snow-capped mountains are reflected in the distance... The scenery is absolutely beautiful, heaven and earth! Personally, I think this is the most beautiful place to enjoy flowers in Nyingchi!
Runa Village: about 30 kilometers away from Bomi County. There are tall and strong wild peach trees on both sides of the village road, with lush flowers blooming like clouds, and there is a sea of flowers everywhere. The village hidden in the sea of flowers is beautiful and picturesque, just like a real paradise. On this most beautiful road, which is dreamlike and fairyland-like, there are many tourists posing for pictures. We are no exception, put on a robe full of Tibetan taste (a very down-to-earth long skirt, the rate of return is very high, local Tibetan compatriots often come to ask where to buy it), SLR, mobile phone alternate continuous shooting, hundreds of photos instantly Finish.
Qingduo Town: Take photos and continue to go to Qingduo (the chartered car is such a casual pleasure). The town is about 40 kilometers away from Bomi. From Galang Lake to Runa Village and then here is a classic peach blossom viewing route. The peach blossoms in Qingduo Town are really all over the mountains and plains, so it is also called "Peach Blossom Island". This is a paradise for professional photographers, and countless peach blossom movies come from here (again grief and anger without telephoto).
Xu Muxiang: After a lot of traffic, the road conditions gradually deteriorated. Xumu (Yuxu) Township is about 70 kilometers away from Bomi. The road is far away and there are few tourists. On the hillside on both sides of the road, there are clusters of peach forests passing by, and the Tibetan village is faint in the sea of flowers, accompanied by rising smoke from the kitchen. Under the reflection of the majestic snow-capped mountains, the scenery is absolutely beautiful! Walking to a broken mountain wall, I suddenly found that under the opposite Xuefeng Glacier, beside the cliffs, groups of plateau peach blossoms in full bloom rushed towards my face. The public beauty, as bright as the morning glow, is exciting. Hold your breath, stand almost worshiping, for a long time, you can't get over this breathtaking beauty! If the peach blossoms of Puhei are gentle and beautiful, then the peach blossoms of Lingzhi are absolutely breathtaking!
After viewing the flowers, we headed home. Walking all the way is full of narcissism: when I went to Galang Lake, it was still drizzling, but when I arrived at Taohuagou, it was immediately sunny (if the light is not good, the chances of making a good movie will be greatly reduced-for me so far For those who still only know the "fool" shooting mode); after posing in the sea of flowers and admiring the beautiful scenery, we returned on the same road, but there was a torrential rain on the way... Back at the hotel, the sky was still dark, and I went to the handsome restaurant again (learn the lesson, make a reservation by phone first). After drinking and eating, I took a look at the scenery of the county and replenished some mineral water and fruits on the way tomorrow. Appreciating the results of the day's shooting before going to bed, I feel that I still have more to say, so I decided to change the itinerary tomorrow and take a detour to visit Taohuagou (the chartered car is so casual).
D4 Bomi - Zhamu - Gangxiang - Taohuagou - Nyingchi
After checking out (close to noon), I discussed with the driver not to go to the original Gang Township (I thought it was just a spruce forest, so I don’t care), and I changed to visit Taohuagou again. While the master agreed, he drove the car onto the winding mountain road. When I was surprised that the route was different from yesterday, I had already arrived at the Gangxiang Forest Park, which is lush green, misty white clouds, gurgling streams, and beautiful like a fairyland. The air is fresh and refreshing, and it is worthy of being one of the top ten most beautiful forests in China! Because it happened to miss the tour group's play time (generally in the early morning or afternoon with the group tour), there are few tourists, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. Just a small peach tree growing quietly in the green grass, let me take hundreds of photos! Here I am extremely grateful to the master, I almost missed this dreamlike fairyland on earth!
The road at the entrance of Gang Village is S-shaped. On the tall peach trees beside the road, colorful peach blossoms are in full bloom; On one side of the road is a colorful hut hidden in the sea of flowers, and the little Tibetan mastiff at the door is lively and cute, not at all reckless; on the other side is a piece of green pasture. I can see the sea of flowers, snow-capped mountains, and meadows in the daytime, and the stars in the starry sky at night. The body rests here, waiting for our fast-paced souls that are busy all day long...
Reluctantly bid farewell to the fairyland of Gang Township, drove to Taohuagou again, took another crazy shot, and finally returned to Bomi County with satisfaction. I went to the Internet celebrity restaurant again to have a full meal (I went to eat on the third day, and I couldn’t eat it), and finally embarked on the return journey back to Linzhi. Arrived at Bayi Town smoothly all the way, stayed at Wuzhou Crown again, tasted a rich dinner at the Chinese restaurant again, and then visited Nyingchi City for the first time, bought milk chips (tasted at the front desk of the hotel and found it very delicious) and other special products in the supermarket, and had a good night's sleep.
D5 Nyingchi—Chengdu—Shanghai
At 7:00, the driver came to the hotel to drop off the airport. There were not many people at the airport, and the security check was very fast. We left by Air China flight CA4432 at 9:05 and arrived at Shuangliu Airport at 11:05. Linger at the airport for half a day, taste Chengdu snacks for two meals, and return to Shanghai at night.
