Who did not move the heart is far.

In October 2019, some of the scenic spots visited by the self-driving tour in western Yunnan and western Sichuan, such as Bingzhongluo in Nujiang Prefecture, Meili Snow Mountain in Diqing Prefecture, and Daocheng Yading in Ganzi Prefecture, are both classic and conventional tourist attractions. There are many places that were not easy to reach before, or scenic spots that have become popular and popular in recent years.

Although some are located in the frontier, the road is far away; some are located on the plateau, over the mountains. But when you arrive at these scenic spots through untold hardships, everything that comes into view will make you feel shocked and invigorated. The moving scenery and gorgeous colors interpret the purity and beauty of these places. The beauty of the scenery is dazzling, and often makes you feel as if you are in a fairy tale world, and naturally feel that all the efforts are worthwhile.

Let’s share with you the experiences, experiences and beautiful scenery along the way! At the same time, I hope it will be helpful to those who want to travel to these places.

D1—D4 October 5th—8th Shantou—Yunan—Tianlin—Chuxiong—Baoshan (640+670+630+350 total 2290 kilometers)

Seizing the tail of the last 3 days of freeway free during the National Day holiday, we set off from our hometown Shantou early in the morning. Considering the heavy traffic flow on the expressway during the holidays, the speed may not increase or there may be traffic jams, so we only arrange a journey of more than 600 kilometers every day. In fact, the direction from Guangdong to Guangxi and Yunnan is basically smooth along the way. There were not many vehicles during the festival in Guangxi, and the traffic flow in Yunnan was slightly larger, but the traffic was normal, but when approaching a tunnel in Kunming, a few cars in front of it collided and blocked for about half an hour. The distance of 2290 kilometers in 4 days was easily completed.

I arrived in Chuxiong City at around 4:00 pm on the 7th, and visited the Yi people's ancient town here, and the newly built scenic spots, I felt average. Before departing from Chuxiong on the morning of the 8th, I went to the Yi Nationality October Sun Calendar Cultural Park for a stroll and then went straight to Baoshan. In Baoshan, I visited Baoshan Museum, Taibao Park, Yuhuang Pavilion, Wuhou Temple and other scenic spots successively. Don’t miss it when you pass by, just look around.

D5 October 9th (cloudy, sporadic light rain, temperature 17-28 degrees) Baoshan-Gaoligongshan Natural Park (Baoshan)-Lushui (120+170 total 290 kilometers)

Starting today, officially enter the long-awaited tourism in Nujiang Prefecture in western Yunnan.

After running more than 100 kilometers in the morning, I arrived at the Gaoligong Mountain Natural Park, which belongs to the boundary of Baoshan. The name of this scenic spot is very big, but from the viewing point of view, there is not much to see. Gaoligong Mountain is rich in animal and plant resources and ecologically diverse. Its main significance lies in the ecological environment and scientific research value. For ordinary tourists like me, there is really no landscape.

Continue to move forward and come to the first beach of Nujiang River. To get to this scenic spot, you have to walk for 3 kilometers from Provincial Highway 230 to the riverside on a small road with only one lane, about half of which are gravel roads, and the last section of the road requires wading through water. Cloudy, the landscape is just average.

Provincial Highway 230 going to Liuku Town, Lushui County, passing through Wama Township, is being completely closed for overhaul. Traffic control will not be released until 6 pm. We had to bypass Caojian Town and Laowo Township in Yunlong County, Dali to Liuku Town. In this way, I made a U-shaped detour and walked nearly a hundred kilometers more. Among them, the road condition of more than 30 kilometers from Caojian Town to Laowo Township is poor.

Liuku Town is the capital of Nujiang Prefecture, with Biluo Snow Mountain in the east and Gaoligong Mountain in the west. It is the south gate to Nujiang Prefecture. Many travelers start their trip to Nujiang from here.

I stayed at Lavande Hotel (Lushui Branch) for the night, a newly opened hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy, and I feel very good.

D6 October 10th (cloudy, temperature 20-24 degrees) Lushui-Fugong (170 kilometers)

The 300-kilometer highway from Lushui, Provincial Highway 228, through Fugong to Gongshan, to the junction of Bingzhongluo and Yunnan-Tibet is basically built along the Nu River. After more than two years of overhaul, the subgrade has been widened from 6 meters to 8 meters. In some places, bends have been cut and straightened, and in some places tunnels have been built. More than 90% of the project has been completed. The remaining tunnels have not been fully completed and need to use sidewalks; there are also some protective fences that have not been installed, and some road surfaces have not yet been marked. According to local people, this road has only been opened for two months, and we were lucky to walk on the newly repaired road, which is flat, comfortable and very convenient. It is said that before the road was not repaired or before the road was repaired, it was really not easy to come here. When encountering road closures or broken roads before road repairs, it is common to drive for more than ten hours or even a day or two. thing. The good news is that by next spring, the road from Baoshan to the junction of Yunnan and Tibet will be fully refurbished. The road is easy to walk, and it will be much more convenient to travel here by then.

The journey arranged today is not far, mainly along the Nujiang River. Visited Nujiang Bathhouse Club (Denggeng Bathhouse), Nujiang Tiger Leaping Canyon, Jinmanyintan Scenic Spot, Feilai Stone, Laomudeng Village, Laomudeng Church, Zhiziluo Village, Biluo Snow Mountain and other scenic spots.

Nujiang Bathhouse Club (Denggeng Bathhouse) is just beside Provincial Highway 228, down the steps to the riverside, and there are seven or eight hot spring pools. When we went there, there were not many tourists. Facing the Nu River, soaking our feet and taking a rest for a while, it made people feel very comfortable and very comfortable. In such a good place, there is no charge, even for parking, which is amazing!

At a fork in the road about 30 kilometers away from Fugong County (with signs), go up 12 kilometers to Laomudeng Village, including Laomudeng Church, the largest church in the Nujiang Gorge, and you can spend about 1 hour time to visit. Then continue for a few kilometers to Zhiziluo, the former administrative center of Nujiang River. Now it is Zhiziluo Village. Many houses and buildings from the 1960s and 1970s have been preserved here. It is very emotional to see everything in front of you.

The Fugong Canyon Pearl Hotel where I stayed at night was not bad in all aspects, but the gate was in a mess due to road construction, and the whole county also felt like this.

The Dulongjiang area is the only settlement of the Dulong nationality, one of the ethnic groups with a small population in my country. It still retains the unique traditional ethnic culture and tattoo culture. It is called "mysterious" because of its unique topography and remoteness. canyon".

Today I am going to the distant and mysterious Dulong River, which is one of the highlights of my trip to Nujiang Prefecture in western Yunnan, and I am very excited. The Dulong River has been closed for renovations for two years, and it reopened to receive tourists on the National Day this year. It is limited to 500 tourists per day, and they can only make real-name reservations on the "Explore Dulong River" online 7 days in advance. It's really good luck again and again, and this kind of good thing made us catch up again. Within the specified time, hurry up and make an appointment online as required.

Departing from Fugong County in the morning, it was raining lightly, and the Nujiang Grand Canyon and Stone Moon Observation Deck were rushed by due to bad weather. The stone moon landscape is blocked by clouds and mist, and the real face cannot be seen, leaving regrets. When we arrived at Cikai Town, the city of Gongshan County, the weather began to improve, and the sun gradually showed its face, which wiped away the depression caused by the inconvenient viewing in the morning due to the rainy weather. After having lunch in the county seat, we headed happily towards the Dulong River.

The 90-kilometer Gongdu Highway from Gongshan County to Dulongjiang Township is more than 90% good, but the road surface is narrow, many places cannot pass cars, and it is winding. Many sections of the road turn around mountains, and there are many sharp turns. The average speed is 20 kilometers per hour, and it takes more than 3 hours to arrive.

Not far ahead, we arrived at the gate of Dulongjiang National Park. The gate is built to be iconic and distinctive, and passing vehicles stop to take pictures. After a short walk, you will arrive at the checkpoint, where you can register vehicle information and check appointment status. The advantage of going to the Dulong River at present is that you don’t need to buy tickets. Along the way, you will pass through the Dimpa Observation Deck, the Shenshustump Observation Deck, the Gaoligong Mountain Dulong River Kilometer Tunnel (6.68 kilometers in length), and the Dulong River Highway Observation Deck. wait. It took us more than 4 hours to walk, play and enjoy the scenery before arriving at Dulongjiang Township, where we will stay at night. I specially arranged to stay here for two nights, and tomorrow I will have a whole day to take a good look at this place that had almost no contact with the outside world before.

Relying on the support of superiors and the help of policies, Dulongjiang Township has been built very well. Rows of brand-new houses include government agencies, health centers, credit unions, farmers' markets, supermarkets, etc., and more hotels, inns, and restaurants. Gone are the days when it was difficult to go to the mountains and it was even more difficult to find a place to stay.

Stay at the Dulongjiang Hotel in Gongshan at night, just next to the Dulongjiang Township Credit Cooperative. It is 4 floors high and not small in scale, but there is no elevator. It is said that the voltage here is currently low and it is not suitable for elevator operation. I believe that with the rapid development of tourism here, it will definitely be improved in the future.

D8 October 12th (clear, 15-24 degrees) Dulong River (Gongshan) (80 km)

It rained a lot last night. After the rain, the weather today is particularly sunny. The blue sky, white clouds, green water and green mountains add a lot to the landscape. Today's one-day tour of the Dulong River visited Gaoligong Mountain National Nature Reserve, Dulongjiang Canyon, Qinlangdang Village, Hapang Waterfall (Moon Waterfall), Dulongjiang Township, etc., and was fortunate to see the Dulong people who are about to disappear tattooed girl.

Starting from Dulongjiang Township to Ha Pang Waterfall (Moon Waterfall), there are 40 kilometers of mountain roads. Most of the roads are in good condition, and some are newly renovated, but there are still some roads under construction. Be careful, the 40km drive will take more than an hour and a half. There are several small scenic spots on this road with parking spots where you can get off and watch the scenery. When you approach Qin Langdang Village, there is a public security border checkpoint to check the passing people. This place is already close to Myanmar. Dinner at Qinlangdang Village at noon, this is the only place to eat on this line. Originally, I had to continue to go to the boundary marker, but it was said that the road conditions were bad and I couldn't go there.

When returning to Dulongjiang Township, I made a special trip to the Kongga Group of Kongdang Village (about 2 kilometers away from Dulongjiang Township) to visit one of the few, still alive, most ethnically traditional tattooed women of the Dulong ethnic group, nearly 90 years old. Old Mrs. Ken Guofang. The "face tattoo custom" is a "living fossil" in the traditional national culture of the Dulong people, and it is the most distinctive and mysterious cultural symbol formed by the Dulong people in their special natural living environment and social and historical development stages. We were able to find the residence of Mrs. Ken Guofang, successfully visited her old man’s home, and sent us a little heart, which marked a successful end to the Dulong River trip.

D9 October 13th (partly cloudy, temperature 11-23 degrees) Dulongjiang (Gongshan) - Gongshan - Bingzhongluo (Gongshan) (90+50 total 140 kilometers)

Today's destination is Bingzhongluo, another key point of the trip to Nujiang Prefecture in western Yunnan. It took more than 3 hours to return to Gongshan from Dulongjiang. At noon, I just had lunch in Gongshan County, and the car had to be filled up (the gas station in Bingzhongluo is being upgraded and is currently closed), and then continue along the 228 The provincial highway headed for Bingzhongluo. The nearly 50-kilometer journey has just opened to traffic and the road conditions are good, but there are still workers finishing the project on both sides of the road from time to time, so be sure to drive carefully. On the side of the road near Bingzhongluo, there is a viewing platform for the first bay of the Nujiang River, where you can park your car and look down at the majestic appearance of the first bay of the Nujiang River. Immediately after walking a few kilometers forward, you will arrive at the Bingzhongluo Observation Deck.

Yunnan - Gongshan - Bingzhongluo

Yunnan - Gongshan - Bingzhongluo - Peach Blossom Island

Bingzhongluo is located in the north of Gongshan County, Nujiang Prefecture. It is the core area of "Three Parallel Rivers" where the "three parallel rivers" of Gaoligong Mountain, Nu Mountain, and Yunling Mountains in Northwest Yunnan and the "Three Rivers" of Nujiang, Lancang, and Jinsha Rivers form the word "Sichuan". , the Nu River runs through the whole territory from north to south. Bingzhongluo is a rare open platform in the depths of the Nujiang Canyon, known for its beautiful pastoral scenery. There are Tibetan, Nu, Lisu, Dulong and other ethnic minorities living here. The cultural landscape is peculiar, the folk customs are simple, and the multi-ethnic groups live in harmony. They have the habit of "not picking up things on the road, and not closing the house at night". In addition, multiple religions coexist. A fairyland on earth, a paradise on earth where gods live together."

From the Bingzhongluo Observation Deck, you can have a close view of Taohua Island and Zalatong Village on the island, and a distant view of Bingzhongluo Town and the beautiful pastoral scenery. There are often many tourists and photographers gathered here. Leaving Bingzhongluo Observation Deck, it was still early, and I went to Zalatong Village on Taohua Island. Everything here is still relatively primitive. If you come here during the peach blossom season, the scenery will be very beautiful.

At night, I stayed at Gongshan Nuxia Hotel in Bingzhongluo Village, Bingzhongluo Town. The location is good, parking is available, there is an elevator, and the room facilities are also good. I am very content to live in such a hotel in these places. I also stayed for two consecutive days, and tomorrow I have one more day to stroll around Bingzhongluo.

D10 October 14th (clear, temperature 13-27 degrees) Bingzhongluo (Gongshan) (60 kilometers)

At 7 o'clock in the morning, the sky here is just getting bright. The view through the window of the hotel room was beautiful with the mountains in the distance and the wisps of morning mist over the nearby fields. Before I had time to eat breakfast, I hurriedly drove to the Bingzhongluo Observation Deck to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. At this time, many photography enthusiasts had already gathered on the viewing platform to engage in creation with "long guns and short cannons", and the spirit is really commendable.

After returning to the hotel and having breakfast, we walked about 30 kilometers along the Bingchacha line. After passing through Shimenguan and the public security checkpoint, we came to the Yunnan-Tibet junction to take pictures. After entering the Tibet border, we continued on our way. After a few kilometers, the road conditions got worse and turned back.

"Bingchacha" is the abbreviation of Bingzhongluo Town in Yunnan, Chawalong Township and Zayu County in Sichuan. Bingcha Line (also known as "New Yunnan-Tibet Tourism Channel") is another channel for Yunnan to enter Tibet. It is the worst, most difficult and most dangerous channel among all routes into Tibet. On the more than 270-kilometer Bingchacha Line, there are quite a few road sections built near cliffs, with steep slopes and narrow roads, and many "shell craters". If it is not for a four-wheel drive off-road vehicle with a high chassis, it will not be possible to travel. It is precisely because of the thrills that the Bingcha line has become the favorite of off-road enthusiasts. It is said that the Tibetan side has begun to spend two or three years to make great efforts to comprehensively improve the road conditions in the Tibetan border of the Bingcha Line. At that time, the thrilling "shell crater" road will become smooth.

Qiunatong Nu Nationality Tourist Characteristic Village, Wuli Village Tea-Horse Ancient Road, and Wuli Nu Nationality Tourist Characteristic Village are the main attractions in Bingzhongluo. Autumn is high and crisp, and the temperature is suitable, which is most suitable for rural tourism.

After returning from the junction of Yunnan and Tibet, we first arrived at Qiunatong Village. The village is about 6 kilometers away from the road to the village. The cement road is currently being paved. Although most of the work has been completed, vehicles are not allowed to enter. If you walk up, it is estimated that it will take more than 3 hours to go back and forth. In order to save time and physical strength, I spent a little money to ask the villagers to use a motorcycle to send them up the mountain to the village, and then sent them back after a stroll. The village road will be repaired next year, and it will be much more convenient to visit here. In addition to the beautiful scenery and fresh air, this village has many "stone tile-covered" houses, one of the "Eighteen Monsters of Yunnan". It seems that the "Eighteen Monsters of Yunnan" that people often say is not groundless.

Wuli Village is on the other side of the Nujiang River. There are suspension bridges at both ends of the village. Because we walked back from the junction of Yunnan and Tibet, we walked in from the suspension bridge near the ancient tea-horse road in Wuli Village. I will walk a section of the ancient tea-horse road which is very distinctive, and then walk slowly along the path to the village. This is a peaceful small mountain village. The original natural environment, beautiful pastoral scenery, and simple folk customs are like a paradise, which makes people feel relaxed and happy. Go on, walk out of the village from another suspension bridge, and take a ride to the suspension bridge over the village to drive the car back. It takes more than an hour to walk into the village from the suspension bridge on one side, and then walk out from the suspension bridge on the other side, including visiting the village.

After returning to Bingzhong Luo Town, I wandered around again, and went to the famous Chongding Church here, but the "Iron General" guarded the door, so I had to take a look around. So far, with the end of Bingzhongluo Tour, the tour of Nujiang Prefecture has also come to a successful conclusion. Starting tomorrow, I will travel to Diqing Prefecture in Northwest Yunnan.
