Alpine meadows, four seasons a day, this is Shambhala

Every year when we welcome the new year, we will silently make a wish in our hearts, hoping that the coming year will be a good year, not extravagantly wishing for things to come true, but wishing for peace and happiness. However, before the Spring Festival in 2020, the new crown pneumonia has ravaged the world, making this year, which had many travel plans, become a year when various visas are distressed. Fortunately, the greatest luck in this natural and man-made disaster is to be born in China. Under the country's strong anti-epidemic action, the domestic epidemic has been basically brought under control, and the city is gradually recovering. We, who are held back by the epidemic, can also slow down Slowly resume the old pace. Watching the news every day, the epidemic situation in foreign countries is getting worse every day. In this year when there is no money and leisure, domestic travel is probably the best place to go.

There is a place hidden deep in the plateau, surrounded by mountains, guarded by Tibetan Buddhist monasteries for generations. According to legend, it is the closest to the sky, known as the most beautiful pure land in the world and the place closest to heaven, and it is also the origin of all beautiful dreams. Perhaps it is the preference of the Creator, it is endowed with all the purest beauty, this is Shangri-La, a fairyland forgotten by God in the world.

If Shangri-La is a paradise, then Balagezong is a pure world isolated from the world. In this magical land, there are not only the ancient legends of the Kangba family, but also the steep and deep canyons, the majestic snow-capped mountains, the pristine forests, the grassy pastures and the simple folk customs of Bala. village.

During the sleepless nights when I was a child, I often climbed up to count the stars, but now the night sky of the city is shrouded in smog, and it is rare to see such a bright and endless galaxy like the present. Looking up at the night sky in the Shangri-La Grand Canyon, I saw it and fell in love with it.

In July, all things are revived, and the wind, flowers, snow and moon in the mountains and rivers are endowed with the purest beauty. This is the second time I have come to Balagezong. The last time I came was in April, and the mountains were covered with snow and ice. If you really want to ask me the reason for the second brush, it is nothing more than wanting to experience the beauty of the meadow after the melting snow mountain , and the warm and simple folk customs of the Kham people.

The boundless mountains straddle the sky and go straight into the sky. The climate of the snow-capped mountains here is changing rapidly. As the sun rises, the cloud bands continue to rise. At noon, the clouds may float on the top of the peak. There are not many opportunities to appreciate this kind of scenery. According to According to Tibetan legend, only those who are destined can have this blessing.

There are many large and small temples in Shangri-La, and Songzanlin Temple is the most famous. Walking in this largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Tibet, you can smell the faint Tibetan fragrance in the air. When lamas pass by you, they will Say it friendly: Tashi Dele.

Due to the epidemic, the school had a long winter vacation. Not long after the start of school, it ushered in the summer vacation again, which can be called a nightmare for parents. However, keeping Siemens bored at home all the time is not an option, so we had to take him and me to play around, so this trip to Shambhala has naturally changed from a solo trip to a family trip of wits and courage.

Collide with the flood season

July is the rainy season in Shangri-La, the snow-capped mountains melt, and the mountains and plains are green. In this season, it rains about one-third of the day, but it also happens to be the rainy season. Tiger Leaping Gorge is at its most magnificent. During the flood season, this trip Tiger Leaping Gorge is the most unmissable stop.

I woke up early and rushed to Tiger Leaping Gorge, and found that many tourists have arrived. Entering from the parking lot is the Tiger Leaping Gorge scenic spot. It takes about an hour to go up and down. The hiking plank road is not as easy as I imagined, and I arrived at the viewing platform. At that time, my legs and feet were a little sore.

The Jinsha River originating from the Dandong Snow Mountain in Gela, Qinghai, after passing through the First Bend of the Yangtze River in Shigu Town, suddenly turned north and squeezed through the gap between the Haba Snow Mountain and the Yulong Snow Mountain. The most spectacular Grand Canyon in the world, and the narrowest place in the canyon is the famous Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Tiger Leaping Gorge is divided into three sections: Upper Tiger Leaping, Middle Tiger Leaping and Lower Tiger Leaping. The Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge we went to is the narrowest section in the canyon and the most beautiful place in Tiger Leaping Gorge. Like a falling waterfall, a high ridge stands steeply in front of you, splitting the torrent into two, and the shocking waves shake the sky.

After staying for a long time, the shock brought by the visual impact gradually faded away. When I calmed down, I suddenly felt that people are so small and insignificant in front of the uncanny craftsmanship of nature.

The furious river water slapped the majestic and chaotic rocks, aroused the soaring water column and waves, roared like thunder, rolled and passed through the stone wall, and stood by the railing for a while to take a picture, and the body was splashed by the river water wrapped in sand , the air is full of muddy smell. Wildness is one of my deepest impressions of Tiger Leaping Gorge.

The Mystery of Shangri-La - The Complete Guide to Balagezong

If Shangri-La is heaven, then Balagezong is a paradise on earth. Balagezong is Tibetan, which means "the place where the gods live". Apart from the name, its geographical location is also far away from the secular world. It used to be impossible to find the place Balagezong on the map. There is no electricity, With no access or communication, the villagers at that time had almost no cash income, and it was very difficult to use some daily necessities such as salt and tea. Poverty and backwardness have become synonymous with Bala Village. If you want to get out of the deep mountains, you can only rely on a post road built on the cliff in the 1970s. It is less than one meter wide, and you may fall into the surging Gangqu River if you are not careful.

Then there was a person who changed the fate of Bala Village and connected Bala Gezong with the outside world. This person was Sina Dingzhu, and he was also born in this isolated village. When I was blacksmithing in my childhood, a piece of iron flew into my eye, causing Sina Dingzhu to injure one of his eyes. He had to go out to the county town to see a doctor. It took 5 full days to arrive at Zhongdian County (now Shangri-La City). As a result, Sina Dingzhu delayed the best treatment time and lost the vision in one eye.

Although he lost one eye, Sina Dingzhu was not discouraged. Instead, he had the dream of changing the poverty of his hometown. As an adult, he used the tens of millions of assets accumulated in business to build a road from Bala Village to the outside world. , from National Highway 214 to the Panshan Road in Bala Village, there are a total of 43 sharp turns, entrenched on the mountainside and ravines, like a white "Hata" in the mountains.

Entering the Balagezong Scenic Area, starting from the white pagoda that attracts the eye, there is a strong Tibetan style and religious color.

It has long been heard that there is a legendary Bodhi tree in the Balagezong Scenic Area. It has traveled through thousands of years. In just one night a few years ago, a Buddha's left hand grew out, which is very miraculous.

Next to the bodhi tree is a scripture hall, where the main statues of Buddha are: Huang Caishen, Padmasambhava, White Tara, Zunsheng Buddha, and Green Tara. Turn the scriptures clockwise, the more you turn, the smoother you turn, the more auspicious you are, and the devout believers will come here to pray in front of the Buddhist hall.

Many tourists hope to be blessed by the Buddha, so they stuff a lot of banknotes in the groove of the stone wall next to the Buddha's hand, as small as one yuan and five yuan, as large as 500 yuan.

The cliff plank road meanders through the 2,000-meter-long canyon cliff of "there is no way to the sky, and there is no door to the earth", extending towards the east. No one has set foot in it for thousands of years, and every plant and tree here is a masterpiece of nature. Walking on the horizontal plank road, looking up, the peaks on both wings lead straight to the sky, the cliffs cut straight into the river, and the vegetation is verdant and green. Everything in front of you seems to be the scene of spring and summer.

Walking on the plank road, accompanied by the sound of water, another highlight in the canyon is the Gangqu River. This river is the mother river of Bala Village, and the water flow is not urgent or slow, so the rafting here is also flowing slowly. You can enjoy the Grand Canyon leisurely in the river without dead ends, and feel how small people are under nature.

Walking along the route, I found another world by accident. Unlike the emerald green of the canyon river, the stream of Butterfly Valley comes from the mountains and is clear and transparent.

The reason why it is called Butterfly Valley must be that when every butterfly spreads its wings, there should be butterfly shadows here.

Mani piles can be seen everywhere on the stones. The piled stones are Tibetan-style prayers and blessings, and they are a symbol of good luck.

Wild mountain palms can only be found in tropical regions, and are very rare in the alpine vegetation areas of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau north of the Jinsha River.

The place on the cliff that is not covered by vegetation shows the natural word "blessing". All the wonders in Balagezong make me more convinced that this is a treasured place blessed by gods.

Balagezong sits on eight sacred mountains, and Bandanlam sacred mountain is one of them. This is the Shangri-La dream mentioned in the disappearing horizon. Bandan Ram is the head of the gods in Tibetan Buddhism. Tibetans believe that worshiping her can remove disasters and make people prosperous.

Take the scenic tour bus up the mountain, and look at Bala Gezong from the Pandan Ram Observation Deck. The mountains are so close that they seem to be within reach.

Zhuoma Lakang is a Guanyin temple built by the chieftain Sna Dorje behind the Dayong mansion more than 1300 years ago. There are 8 white pagodas standing at the gate of the temple, forming a group of Dayong pagodas. Each pagoda has a different meaning. From east to west: Lianju Pagoda, Four Truth Pagoda, Xizheng Pagoda, Bodhi Pagoda, Shenbian Pagoda, Jiangfan Pagoda, Victory Pagoda, and Nitta, which record the eight great merits of Buddha Sakyamuni in his life. It is said that turning the pagoda can not only transfer luck, but also accumulate merit, but remember to circle clockwise!

A total of 21 Tara are displayed in the temple. They are the goddesses who rescue and save suffering beings. They are also the group of female deities worshiped by various sects of Tibetan Buddhism. The 21 Tara are in different shapes. When worshiping Tara, you can worship all of them, or you can worship at will. Among them, the ninth Tara is the most sacred.

The hall on the first floor is covered with colorful banners, which makes people feel solemn and sacred.

When entering the temple, you need to pay attention to two points: don't step on the threshold when entering the door, remember to take off your sunglasses and hats, you can't take photos of Buddha statues, and you can take photos of others.

The small Bala village under the mountain is the holy hometown of Balagezong, the place where the gods live, and the real Shambhala. Here, the mountains are high and the gorges are steep, isolated from the world. The villagers have been blessed by the sacred mountain for generations, and they are also very loyal to the sacred mountain. There used to be a shortage of supplies, but there was never a shortage of faith.

There are three mani piles at the entrance of the village. Like Thangka, they can still maintain their colorful colors after thousands of years of wind and rain and the vicissitudes of history. The scriptures on the wall are too old to be understood only by the profound living Buddha. No one knows the profound meaning in front of thousands of tourists in the past.

This white pagoda on the top of the mountain is a place where Bala people burn mulberry and pray for blessings. Every household in Bala village also has a mulberry stove. Although I am not a Tibetan, I don’t know much about this belief, but I am full of admiration .

The village still retains its original appearance, adhering to the idea that all the people who come here are relatives. Every household here does not raise dogs, and no family’s door is locked. The simple wooden door is only to prevent the intrusion of wild animals and the randomness of livestock. In and out, they rely on the self and conscience of Buddhism to guard their spiritual home.

In the small Bala Village, there is a caravan butter tea house, which is located in the center of the village and is easy to find. Different from ordinary butter teahouses, this teahouse has a strong Tibetan residential style.

Here, you can see the pagoda in the distance by opening the window.

Above the two-level stone ladder is the traditional rural wooden door. When you are tired from walking, you can come in and drink a bowl of buttered tea, look at the sacred mountain through the window, and make a glutinous rice cake with highland barley noodles to experience the authentic life in Tibetan areas.

Buy buttered tea and get free highland barley noodles, divided into sweet and salty, depending on personal preference.

Shangri-La is the birthplace of Tibetan black pottery. Local craftsmen have been inheriting the traditional Tibetan pottery skills for thousands of years. It has been passed down from generation to generation. The earthen pottery belt here is in all directions.

Every process of pottery making is a technical work, and the embryo making and firing process has more unique skills in it, and the firing is inseparable from local specialty raw materials. Every pottery maker is a veritable craftsman, and every piece of black clay pottery is a well-deserved work of art.

In the Black Pottery Museum of Bala Village, you can experience the traditional handicraft of making clay pottery. These houses were originally the homes of residents. Until recent years, due to the earthquake and the old houses, the whole village has moved to the foot of the mountain. After strengthening and refurbishment, it becomes a leisure resort integrating catering and accommodation for tourists to visit and understand the local culture while solving food and clothing problems.

As a milk tea lover, I didn't expect to be able to drink imperial tea milk tea in Bala Gezong. . .

From the Shangri-La Canyon along the Panshan Road, the scenery becomes more and more different. Only when you really come here can you experience the beauty and beauty of the world. It is full of wildness, dense old trees, and the river flows like a ribbon. Fantastic painting, there is a huge height difference between the valleys, "there are gorges within gorges, gorges within gorges, criss-crossing, gorges connecting gorges" is its greatest feature.

"There are always moments in a person's life that allow you to open your soul." Hilton described the protagonist's feelings when he witnessed the wonders of Shangri-La in the book "Lost Horizon". The yellowed mountains stretch into the distance, wrapped in the clothes of vegetation, shuttling between the mountains, galloping above the clouds and mist, only when you are really on the scene, you will understand what is called the moment of opening your soul.

The aerial cableway in the canyon should be a game for the brave. From the jungle to the canyon, from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, the dark green and rocks blend, showing the various forms of nature one by one. The morning sun evaporates out of the sea of clouds in the mountains, romantic and dreamy. From this end of the plank road, take the zipline and slide back to the starting point. In front of you is Gezong Shenshan, and below is the abyss. If you are afraid of heights, don’t try it lightly~

Nowadays, many scenic spots have glass viewing platforms, which is nothing unusual, but Balagezong is the glass path with the highest vertical and straightest height in China, so I still want to take a look. The glass plank road built here is extremely difficult, nearly a thousand meters high, almost hanging on the cliff.

Through the glass platform under your feet, you can directly overlook the Shangri-La Grand Canyon and have a panoramic view.

Take a sightseeing bus to Huahaitang. In the rainy season of July, there are scattered wild flowers. Although the alpine rhododendrons are in bloom, the cabins in the forest also have a bit of artistic conception.

Along the winding road, the altitude continues to rise, and the scenery is very different from the scenery under the village of Bala. The temperature below Bala Village can be said to be in spring and summer, and it is obvious to feel a little cool when you arrive at the pass.

At the top of the pass, you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance again. The location of Balagezong is really amazing, with Yading Daocheng on one side and Meili on the other. When the weather is good and the visibility is high, you can see the Gods Mountain by flying a plane.

Looking at the pass, the Balagezong seems to have become a fairy tale world covered in snow. The snow on the ground is very thick, and there is a slight creaking sound when stepping on it.

Looking up, the snow-covered Shambhala stupa stands proudly, and the golden afterglow sprinkles on the earth. I saw it with my own eyes, but I don’t know how to describe the mood at that time. The stupa has a kind of people who forget the world and worship devoutly magic.

Beside the Shambhala Pagoda, there are also "Lama Squatting Statue" and "Scripture Statue". It is a spiritual sacred mountain that can eliminate people's own turbidity and karma.

Looking at the pagoda depends on luck. If you encounter a foggy day, you can hardly see the appearance of the pagoda. Facing the wind, staring at the pagoda, silently making a wish, the heart is calm and peaceful.

Every year, many monks come to worship, which is enough to show how important this pagoda is in the hearts of Tibetans.

There is a pasture at the foot of the Shambhala Pagoda. When spring comes, it is still a snow field. After the snow fades, the pasture looks like a vibrant one in July.

There are horses roaming or grazing all over the ground, small wooden houses, and trees all over the mountains. It is hard to believe that there is such a wide plain hidden in such high mountains.

The pictures of these snow scenes were taken when I went there in April. In July, the snow-capped mountains have turned into meadows, but they also have the same breathtaking beauty.

Balagezong in winter is in a large white world, and the roofs of the wooden houses where the herdsmen live are covered with thick snow, just like the houses where the dwarves live in the fairy tale world.

As described in "The Lost Horizon": snow-capped mountains, pastures, villages, and canyons are all here in Balagezong.

In summer, under the irrigation of rainwater, the pasture grows extraordinarily lush. In addition, the climate in the valley is hot and there is no cool pasture area. Therefore, the people of Bala village will drive their livestock to live in Naidang pasture in summer.

I accidentally photographed a magical tree, which looks like a person with open hands, standing on the top of the mountain and guarding the Balagezong, which is wonderful.

In fact, the smog in the rainy season also won my heart.

Let’s talk about our accommodation in Balagezong. There are quite a few types of hotels in the scenic area, and there are all kinds of prices. Five-star luxury, light luxury and cheap hotels at the entrance of the scenic area meet the needs of all kinds of tourists. Considering the comparison of scenic spots For convenience, I chose the Balagezong Snow Mountain Bingquan Health Manor, which is backed by Gezong Snow Mountain, five minutes away from Zhuoma Lakang, and overlooking Bala Village.

I thought that Balagezong was more original, so I didn't have high expectations for accommodation at first, but this hotel completely dispelled my worries. The room is large and full of Tibetan style.

The hotel's room service is very good. Each room has its own butler in charge. You can also eat nourishing Tibetan soup and Tibetan snacks before going to bed at night.

The living room with floor-to-ceiling windows has a great view. Sitting by the window and drinking a cup of hot tea, you won’t miss the beautiful view of the sacred mountain in Tibet even if you don’t go out.

"Poison" test in the rainy season - wild fungus award

The rainy season is the fungus eating season in Yunnan. We stayed in Shangri-La for a week. In addition to visiting the scenic spots, we had nothing to do with the locals to experience the fun of digging mushrooms in the forest of Balagezong.

After the rain, the woods exude a very fresh fragrance of grass and trees. The wet environment is just suitable for the growth of fungi. Going to the woods for an adventure and meeting all kinds of poisonous and non-toxic fungi is also a very local leisure and entertainment. Activity. The local people call picking mushrooms "picking up mushrooms". The word "picking up" has two meanings: picking mushrooms in the mountains and forests is a test of "luck". Sometimes after a rain, the fungus that burst out of the mountain is there, just bend down to pick it up, which is full of fun.

As the saying goes, eating mushrooms in Yunnan requires three-cooking: the variety of mushrooms must be cooked, the mushrooms eaten must be cooked, and the way to the hospital must be cooked.

But we dig fungus purely for fun, and no one dares to let the hotel stir-fry them. Weakly tell you, whatever I hold in my hand is edible~

Here are some common ways to identify fungi:

Identification of appearance: good-looking ones are poisonous; bad-looking ones may be poisonous.

Experience-based method: If you ask others what you can’t eat, you can’t eat it; if you ask others what you can eat, you may not really be able to eat it.

Photo comparison method: If you have searched for poisonous ones on the Internet, it is really poisonous; if you have searched for non-toxic ones on the Internet, you may have admitted that it is poisonous.

Under the guidance of experienced locals, I still harvested two bags of "boots". Although I didn't eat it myself, I still went to the mushroom market in the county to taste something fresh. Wild mushrooms are called mushrooms, and farmed mushrooms are called mushrooms.

In addition, I will introduce a few special plants of Balagezong: iron broom, a plant that can be used not only for traditional Chinese medicine, but also for brooms, and is extremely cost-effective. If you have abdominal pain and diarrhea, you can dry it and grind it into powder, and drink it with boiled water.

The local people say this is one of the raw materials of Tibetan incense, but I forgot the specific name. There are many formulas of Tibetan incense. At least two or three flavors are used together, and as many as dozens of flavors. The body and mind of the smeller also have miraculous effects such as calming the nerves and improving intelligence, preventing flu, calming shock, calming the mind, and disinfecting. benefit.

This is called Baijuan, and it is said to be a super drought-tolerant plant. It will close its roots in the dry season, clump itself up and protect it, and then take root and open up in the rainy season... Why do I sound like a Sahara plant? ? ?

Songzanlin Temple is still resplendent

Not far from Shangri-La County to the north, there is a wide grassland. At the end of the grassland, a white and majestic temple suddenly appears. The temple standing between the mountains has a holy and solemn taste, and the tiles on the roof are shining Luminous, meeting Songzanlin Temple for the first time, can be described as "amazing".

Opposite Songzanlin Temple is the Jihun Lake of the famous goddess Baidenlam. You can take pictures of the reflection of Songzanlin Temple. It is said that if you are lucky, you can see your past and present lives in the lake.

The layout of the temple is unique. Like an oval city wall, the main hall stands high in the center, and the eight major Kangs under the main temple are surrounded by "Xisu" and "Juexia", with scattered heights.

It was the first time I took Siemens to Tibet, and I showed him the Songzanlin Monastery in my memory. When I came to Yunnan for the first time, I still felt like a girl. Ten years later, Songzanlin Temple is still the shining golden Songzanlin Temple~

Songzanlin Temple, built in 1679, was approved by Emperor Kangxi Zhu Bi, and the fifth Ngawang Lobsang Gyatso personally divined and selected a temple site. It is said that when the fifth emperor selected the site, he saw that there was a lake of the Holy Mother in front of the place, with Kari Mountain as its back, the clear Naizi River running across the entire Dazhongdian in the east, and Shika Snow Peak in the west. So he decided to build a temple here.

The Songzanlin Temple built on the mountains is indeed somewhat similar to the Potala Palace in appearance. The main hall can accommodate nearly 2,000 people to meditate and chant scriptures at the same time to show the grandeur of Buddhism. .

Songzanlin Temple has the highest prestige in the hearts of the local people. At that time, boys from civilian households were proud to be sent to the party lamas in the temple. The richer families had men who became lamas. Except for one son to pass on, the rest were sent to the temple.

Looking at Songzanlin Temple from a distance, it seems that the restlessness and impetuousness in my heart have been smoothed out. Many people come here to worship from thousands of miles away, but I think that the Buddha is not thousands of miles away, nor is it mysterious and untraceable. It has always existed in the hearts of each of us, but we have never noticed it.

This is the back mountain of Songzanlin Temple. This grassland is full of wild flowers in July, and it is a good place for walking children.

Walking in the middle, the air is filled with a faint and fresh fragrance of grass. If you want to capture the best light, you often listen and feel it in the shortest moment. It takes a long time to raise a baby, but the photography skills I usually teach my baby have come in handy in Shangri-La~

On the night of our visit to Songzanlin Temple, we stayed at Songzanlinka Hotel, which is only one field away from Songzanlin Temple. The watchtower buildings seem to grow out of the mountain fields due to the pattern of the mountains.

The white floating clouds floated by at low altitude, and the dazzling brilliance released by the golden roof of Songzanlin Temple can be seen from a distance.

There is no life in the countryside at night, so I go out of the room and take a walk along the high and low stone roads. This is a stone building that is all built on the mountain. There are 24 buildings with a pattern of upper and lower floors.

In contrast to the stone exterior, the materials inside the room are mainly wood and copper. All the wood used in the hotel comes from reusable materials from 180 old houses demolished by local Tibetans.

The use of copper ware is originally a Tibetan family’s living tradition. The extensive use of copper for washbasins, washstands, and stair wrapping makes people naturally enter the atmosphere of Tibetan life.

The restaurant of the hotel has panoramic windows, and the view is very transparent. Sitting in the restaurant and turning your head, you can see the golden roof of Songzanlin Temple.

I couldn't go out when it rained, so I read a lot of books and videos about Tibetan areas in the hotel. Some books were read after I came to Shambhala, which was another experience.

My favorite little design is the original ecological style without street lights. Looking at the lanterns floating on the ground like fireflies, they are like stars falling from the sky, lighting up the hearts of people who come from the city to seek peace.

There are three meals a day in the hotel. There are surprises in the meals. There are many types of food in Tibetan areas. The barley cakes are much more delicious than I imagined, and the yak meat is too fragrant. Both meat and vegetables are raised by local villagers themselves. Yes, the meat is delicious and the vegetables are sweet.

Napa is not the sea

In Shangri-La, the prairie wildflowers in Napa Sea are always refreshing. Although it is called the sea, it is not the sea. During the rainy season, most of the grassland is covered by lake water and becomes a sea. During the non-rainy season, when there is less water and more grass, the lake degrades and becomes a grassland. The black-necked cranes like to inhabit the marsh meadow here. There are still many herdsmen here, who still wear their ethnic attire and live a simple life of grazing.

The Napa Sea in July is like a sea of plants, covered with countless flowers, rose-red wild peonies, wild chrysanthemums and unknown fragrant flowers and weeds, forming a beautiful picture.

Residents near the Napa Sea still retain their original traditions, and will also provide some local activities for tourists to experience, such as archery.

The biggest joy of the little guy is that he won a red heart, got a Hada, and was very happy.

There are three ways to play Napa Sea, bicycle, horseback riding and hiking. The horses here are called Dian horses, which are different from ordinary horses. They are a little shorter, so they are also called pony horses. Although riding a horse on the grassland sounds very innovative, I still chose to walk without hesitation, not myself. Finding guilt for myself, but like to use my feet to feel the land~

Although I don’t ride a horse, I still want to remind everyone that when riding a horse, don’t be behind the horse, otherwise it will feel uneasy and kick you with your feet. Stand in front of it, and slowly stroke its head to let it feel You are kind, as shown in the picture~

Cows and sheep can be seen grazing leisurely and contentedly everywhere on the grassland. It’s a beautiful view of the grassland where “the wind blows the grass and sees the cattle and sheep”.

No matter how long the road is, there is an end. The road that Napa can walk on foot will end after two hours of leisurely walking. Looking up, watching with your eyes, and recording with your camera, the fatigue from days of travel has faded away. The grasslands, hillsides, and sky have become a subtle and famous painting here, recording the slightest bit of the Napa Sea all year round.

214, Road to Yunnan and Tibet

The travel notes have come to an end. The last part of the journey is to take the 214 National Highway to Deqin. The road to Meili is a long mountain road, but it is still wonderful.

National Highway 214 is the most charming among the three routes into Tibet. The national highway passes through the dense virgin forest in the Hengduan Mountains, across the tumbling Jinsha River, and across the endless Baimang Snow Mountain and Hongla Mountain. Along the way, the beauty is almost suffocating.

Passing by the viewing platform at the Great Bend of the Jinsha River, you must come down and take a look. During the epidemic, the half price is discounted. A family of three is only 30 oceans. If you can’t buy it for 30 yuan, you can’t afford it. Looking down from the top of the mountain, you can see the complete U-shaped bend of the Jinsha River, and the magnificent landscape of the Yangtze River, the Lancang River, the Nu River, and the Three Rivers flowing in parallel.

This seemingly calm river is completely different from Tiger Leaping Gorge

The rainy season is naturally indispensable for rain, and there will be fairy spirit when it rains~

Driving through the mountains and forests, there is an illusion of flying through the clouds and fog

The beautiful grassland like a green carpet, the lush and green hillside terraces, the village dwellings in a paradise, the summer snow-capped mountains that reach into the sky, and the surging Jinsha River rushing north. The observation deck is not enough.

"Splashing water today to enjoy the cool, the next day to see the mountains and snow", this is people's metaphor for the Yunnan section of National Highway 214. On this road, due to factors such as low latitude, complex terrain, and large altitude difference, people can travel in a short distance You can cross several climate zones and enjoy different scenery in a short period of time.

The whole picture of Haba Snow Mountain flows outside the car window, as if it is the scenery of heaven, so pure that there is no smell of fireworks. If you pass here on a sunny day, the scene will definitely be more breathtaking.

Goodbye Kawaborg

Entering the Meili Scenic Area, the pious worship of pilgrims makes this snow mountain forest possess an intangible magic power. Meili is not the name of a certain mountain, but a series of peaks with an average altitude of more than 6,000 meters, commonly known as "Prince Thirteen Peaks".

I once watched a movie, "Turning the Mountain" played by Zhang Shuhao. I still remember a sentence in it, which was told by a cyclist he met on the road, "Those who have seen the main peak of Meili Snow Mountain will be lucky for one year. "The main peak of Meili Snow Mountain mentioned in the book is Kawagebo, known as the "God of Snow Mountain".

The main peak, Kawagebo, is surrounded by clouds and mists all year round. It is difficult to see the true face of Mount Lu. I thought I would be lucky once. It seems that the luck of this trip has been exhausted when I saw the pagoda. I will come again, and I still have the opportunity to meet Kawagebo. Thinking of it like this is a lot of comfort.

The first half of the journey is still the scenery of the plateau forest with dense green trees. As the altitude rises, you can feel the majesty and majesty of the glacier in the second half of the journey.

It is said that glaciers can become huge snow-capped mountains after tens of thousands of years of accumulation, so in front of them, the length of each life is like one of many ice cones, isolated but interconnected, although the main peak Kawagebo only faintly reveals a There are a few sharp corners, but seeing the magnificent snow-capped mountains and feeling the magical charm of nature is not a waste of time.

Things to do with the baby (with Shangri-La itinerary)

In view of going out with the baby, the Shangri-La plateau area is afraid that he will have a high reaction, so I played in Dali Lijiang for five or six days to get used to it.

When I got to Shangri-La, the little ghost showed no sign of rebellion at all.

Of course, our itinerary is relatively loose, and we stayed in Shangri-La for a full week.

I didn't go to Pudacuo, and I didn't hike Yubeng, so I was very leisurely.

The following is our itinerary in Shangri-La:

D1: Lijiang - Tiger Leaping Gorge - Diqing - Susongzan Linka

D2: Songzanlin Temple - Napa Sea - Su Songzan Forest Card

D3: Bala Gezong (Tongtian Gorge-Rafting-Zhuoma Lakang-Su Xueshan Bingquan Health Manor)

D4: Bala Gezong (Shambhala Pagoda-Ranch-Huahai Pond-Echo Wall-Glass Plank Road-Slipline-Su Xueshan Bingquan Health Manor)

D5: Balagezong (Bala Village - Millennium Bodhi Tree) - First Bay of Jinsha River - Deqin - Sufeilai Temple

D6: Wandering around Deqin

D7: Go back to Lijiang from Deqin, visit the observation decks on National Highway 214 one by one

Different from ordinary parent-child tours, Shangri-La is about 3,500m above sea level. What needs to be considered is not only the itinerary, but also the children's altitude sickness. At the beginning, I was worried about the seriousness of Siemens’ high anti-reflex, so before going to Shangri-La, I took him to stay in Lijiang for two days. Unexpectedly, the child’s condition was much better than I expected. There was no sign of high anti-reverse at the altitude of 3300 in Shangri-La. Even so, we The hotel I stayed at still prepared an oxygen generator just in case, which is great~

If your child has a strong reaction to altitude, remember to carry high anti-drugs and oxygen cylinders with you. Generally, scenic spots and hotels in Shangri-La will be equipped with high anti-drugs.

I really don’t want to toss with the team with my baby. It’s still very comfortable to drive the whole journey by myself. The road conditions are much better than expected, and a car for a family of three is enough.

Shangri-La is a plateau area with a large temperature difference between morning and evening. No matter what season it is, it is best to bring warm clothes. If you are afraid of the cold, you can also bring some warm babies with you. In short, you must do enough to keep warm! Medicines are also necessary, similar to cold medicines, antipyretics, high-reflex medicines, diarrhea medicines, etc., which help to resist high-reflex. And plateau food is easier to get angry, just pay more attention to it.

Sometimes, an excellent class does not come only from the teacher’s teaching in front of the blackboard, but more from the child’s personal experience of the mysteries of nature, the belief in Tibetan areas, the white snow-capped mountains, and the leisurely life in the process of interacting with nature. Every picture is the most precious gift in life for children~

Yes, Shangri-La is more like a spiritual sanctuary, goodbye

After staying in Shangri-La for a long time, you will feel that everything here is spiritual. In the warm and quiet village, above the picturesque grassland, accompanied by the bells of the Buddhist temple, slowly waking up. In every sunny morning, Wan Su is higher than all living beings. Therefore, everything has a response here.

All the snow-covered mountain peaks are the gods in the hearts of the local people and enjoy great respect. They are not only the spiritual residences of Tibetans, but also like huge spiritual fortresses that reproduce and raise forests, pastures and villagers who have lived for a long time.

Shangri-La, the most beautiful pure land in the world, has its own advantages in summer and winter. This is a place worth visiting at least twice. The morning sun evaporates the sea of clouds in the mountains, the damp fungus grows rapidly after being bathed in the sun, the cows and horses on the grassland eat the sweet and delicious fresh grass, the sky is pure and quiet, it seems that the eyes of the Buddha take pity on the common people, everyone who has seen it there , will fall in love with this place of freedom and peace of mind.

On the way back, I thought about it over and over again, and tried my best to imprint every corner of this place deeply in my mind, so that this journey could come to a successful conclusion. I think that the story between me and Shangri-la and Balagezong is not limited to this. After all, I didn’t see Kawaborg on this trip. The mood will be different from now.
