Mengzi Bridge Rice Noodles

The authentic Yunnan Mengzi bridge rice noodles are quite different from the rice noodles we usually eat~
Guoqiao Rice Noodles has a history of more than 100 years. According to legend, a scholar in Mengzi City in southern Yunnan in the Qing Dynasty wanted to study on a small island outside the city. The scholar's wife often sent him his favorite rice noodles, but by the time he arrived on the island, the rice noodles were no longer hot.
Later, by chance, my wife discovered that the chicken soup was covered with chicken oil like a pot cover to keep the soup warm, and the seasoning and rice noodles were put in before eating, which made it more delicious. Once this method was spread, people followed suit one after another, because they had to pass a bridge when crossing the island. In memory of this virtuous wife, later generations called it "bridging rice noodles".
Yunnan rice noodles can be divided into two categories, one is made from fermented and ground rice, commonly known as "physalis rice noodles"; Gelatinization molding, called "dry pulp rice noodles".
Authentic Guoqiao Rice Noodles are composed of four parts, which are made of soup stock, condiments, raw pork tenderloin slices, chicken breast slices, mullet slices, and five-ripe pork loin slices, belly slices, and water-fat squid slices. .

Long-lasting Charm - Bisezhai
Bisezhai Station is located in Bisezhai, Mengzi County, covering an area of 2 square kilometers. Although the area is small, it attracts many tourists to visit. It is one of the oldest railway stations in China.
There is a small village next to the railway station, originally named "Poxin", but because a French official stationed in Mengzi discovered the beauty of the mountains and the sea, he named it "Bisezhai", and the small village was named after the railway station. , and with the same name. Its degree of openness and prosperity is second to none in southern Yunnan, and Kunming and Vietnamese call it "Little Paris" enviously.
The station building of Bisezhai Station is located at the north end of the station, facing east-west. It is a French-style brick-and-wood structure building with red tiles and yellow walls. "Hua", "Wuwen Xidong" have all come here to shoot scenes, which shows the charm of this small railway station.

The former site of the French Concession in Mengzi is located in the center of Mengzi County, in the northeast corner of the South Lake. It was famous in the modern history of China. From 1883 to 1889, the famous Chinese general Feng Zicai led his troops to defeat the French army in the Sino-French War in Vietnam. This small train is an old train to Bisezhai. It is an inch gauge. It is different from the train on the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway.
