You can choose to go to Zhengding by plane or high-speed rail. Because you still have to go to Qingdongling, Jinshanling Great Wall, Chengde and other places, you choose to fly to Shijiazhuang Zhengding Airport. The air ticket is relatively cheap, and you can take the high-speed rail to Tangshan from the beginning.

Shijiazhuang Railway Station, Zhengding County and Zhengding Airport all have high-speed trains passing by, but there are fewer trains. I choose Shijiazhuang Station to take the train, but it costs 70 yuan to take a taxi from Zhengding to Shijiazhuang Station.

The ancient city of Zhengding has a history of more than 1,600 years. It was built with earth in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and built with stone in the Northern Zhou Dynasty. It was expanded into an earthen city in the Tang Dynasty, and then changed into a brick city with a circumference of 24 li after expansion in the Ming Dynasty. The existing Zhengding city wall is a relic of the Ming Dynasty, and the remaining 8,106 meters of the city wall remain. The most majestic and magnificent of Zhengding City Wall are the four city gates, named Yingxu in the east, then Huancui, Changle in the south, Zhenyuan in the west, and Yongan in the north. After years of erosion, the west and north city gates have lost their former style, and the east gate was completely covered under the defense fortifications in the 1960s. Previously, the South City Gate Tower and the 50-meter city walls on both sides were repaired in 2001 by the Zhengding County Government calling on the people to donate old city bricks and investing 3.99 million yuan.
