first day
At 8:10 in the morning, take off from Pudong International Airport. This morning, the No. 18 typhoon "Mina" is located in the Pacific Ocean about 485 kilometers south-east of Taipei City, Taiwan. The maximum wind force near the center is 12 degrees, and the radius of the 7-degree wind circle is 300 kilometers. The plane was bumpy all the way, and at 10:15, it finally arrived at Taipei Taoyuan Airport T1 safely. From Taoyuan Airport to Taipei Main Station, take the Taipei Airport MRT Line. 35 minutes to Taipei Main Station, the price is NT$150. I want to take the Taiwan Railway to Hualien, but due to the typhoon "Mina", all trains and cars stopped after 1 pm, so the last train at 12:53, there is a long queue to buy tickets, and there are no tickets left. All the way to the south along the west coast of Taiwan, we encountered typhoon "Mina" head-on, with heavy wind and rain and roaring waves. We stood for 2 hours and arrived in Hualien. Stay in a hotel not far from Hualien Railway Station: Chengyi Cultural Tourism Hualien Mountain knows it, Japanese style.
the next day
The typhoon has passed Hualien, but it is still not possible to go out to sea to watch whales. I booked a day trip to Taroko National Park at the hotel, 950 NT dollars per person. Pick up at 8:30, CMB carpool, the route is Qingshui Cliff - Taroko - Qixingtan, etc.
Qingshui Cliff, next to the Chongde Tunnel on the Suhua Highway, is one of the top ten scenic spots in Taiwan. Qingshui Cliff is surrounded by cliffs on one side and the vast sea on the other. On one side of the cliffs are lush mountain rocks, and on the other side of the vast sea is the vast blue Pacific Ocean. It's a pity that the typhoon has just passed, and the blue water that is said to have layers of changeable colors cannot be seen.
Taroko National Park is located in the eastern part of Taiwan. It covers a large area and spans the three administrative districts of Hualien County, Taichung County and Nantou County. The Taroko Gorge is majestic, with giant peaks, winding roads and thousands of cliffs. Just after the wind and rain, the waterfall is clear and the stream is rushing, but the water contains calcium and is dark in color.
Arriving at the swallow's mouth of the zigzagging cave,
The loving mother bridge where the streams meet,
Changchun Temple with springs and waterfalls,
Visited the exhibition hall of the relics of the aboriginal Taroko people, and had a buffet in Taroko Park at noon. There are many trails in Taroko, the famous Shakadang (Mysterious Valley) trail, due to the typhoon, there is a risk of falling rocks, so it is not opened.
On Qixingtan Road, I was pulled to a "playful Pan Paradise" to buy mochi. There is also a museum in the store that reproduces the old streets of Hualien. I bought a large bag of Hualien local products.
Go to Qixingtan Scenic Area in the evening, which is actually a long crescent-shaped beach. Qixingtan is famous for watching the sunrise, stars, and moon. There are not many people and the waves are relatively large.
third day
Booked a one-day carpool tour to Hualien and Kenting online, 170 yuan/person.
First come to Yunshanshui, which is a hidden private farm hidden among the country lanes. There are dreamy lakes and pine forests. The top of the mountain is surrounded by clouds and mists all day long, so it is called Yunshanshui.
Then we went to Ruisui Ranch, where there were catering department, open-air cafes, dairy cows and ostriches, etc., where we tasted fresh and rich fresh milk and various dairy products, especially cheese cake and ice cream.
Then we went to the Tropic of Cancer Sign Park. There is a white octopus-shaped Tropic of Cancer sign monument, surrounded by flowers and trees, stop to watch and take pictures.
At noon, I went to Chishang Bento for lunch at the headquarters. The 80-year-old store has many tourists, but the queue is very fast. They are all bento boxes, about 100 Taiwan dollars per customer. The store has a rich nostalgic atmosphere. On the first floor, there are exhibition areas such as "History of Chishang Rice Buns", "Platform Hawking Culture", "Movie Room", and "Ganzai Shop", which tell the story of Chishang Rice Buns. There are early train seats outside Chairs for people to eat, let people feel the old style.
After dinner, we went to Brown Avenue in Taichung. Brown Avenue is known as a verdant paradise road, but it is actually a number of country roads in the only vast and flat verdant rice field area in Taichung. You need to rent an electric car for 200 Taiwan dollars per person for sightseeing. There are 2 people and 4 people. I rented a 4-person car. I drove it not far. There are many photo spots on Brown Avenue. The time is limited, and I cycled around. The flat green field, the 360-degree green hills in the distance, inlaid with white clouds and blue sky, the scenery does have its own characteristics.
In the afternoon, walk along Highway No. 9 on the southeast coast of Taiwan, and stop at Duoliang Railway Station. Standing on the platform, you can have a bird's-eye view of the endless blue sea and blue sky. The simple and pure broad beauty is called "the most beautiful station in Taiwan". Leaving Highway 9 to Kenting, you have to walk a section of rugged mountain road. After 6 o'clock, the mountain road is dark and there are no lights. It takes about half an hour to walk in the dark, and we arrive at the hotel at 7 o'clock in the evening. Live in Kenting Howard Resort Hotel.
fourth day
Take a day off at Howard Beach Resort Kenting and its beaches. Howard Beach Resort Kenting has a channel to the beach, just like its own private beach, with sand and rocks, clear water and blue sea, fish swimming and crabs crawling, good environmental protection, few people and beautiful scenery, it is enjoyable.
Walk along Kenting Street at night. Kenting Main Street is the most lively shopping street in Kenting. There are many bars, dance halls and food stalls along the way, as well as small shops selling personalized souvenirs. There are many tourists.
fifth day
Take a carpool one-day tour of Kenting online, 138 yuan per person, pick you up at 9 o'clock, it is a pink minivan with 7 people, it claims to visit ten scenic spots.
The first stop is Chuanfan Rock, which is located between Kenting and Eluanbi. It is a coral reef shaped like a sailboat standing in the sea. It looks like a sailboat about to set sail, so it is called Chuanfan Rock. Viewed from a certain angle, it looks like former US President Nixon's head, also known as "Nixon head".
The second stop is Shadao Beach, which is said to be the purest shell beach in Kenting. The calcium carbonate content of the beach is as high as 97.6%.
The third stop is Eluanbi Park, with an optional ticket of NT$60. Eluanbi Park is one of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan. There is a lighthouse in the park, which is being renovated. The park is larger and connects to the beach.
The fourth stop is the southernmost point, which is the southernmost point of Taiwan. Get off the bus and walk 500 meters. There is a sculpture sign on the beach. It stands at 120 degrees 50 minutes 0 seconds east longitude and 21 degrees 53 minutes 59 seconds north latitude. It marks the land of Taiwan Island. the southernmost point.
The fifth stop is Longpan Grassland Park, which is located between Eluanbi and Fengchuisha. There are limestone caves, seepage holes, cliffs, grasslands, beaches and blue seas in the area. You can overlook the winding coast from the steep cliffs. The landscape of this park is refreshing.
The sixth stop is Houbi Lake, the largest fishing port in Hengchun Peninsula. Dining at the Houbihu fish market, eating local lobster, 1 catty (600 grams) 800 Taiwan dollars.
The seventh stop is Maobitou, the ticket is 50 Taiwan dollars at your own expense. Maobitou is located at the abrupt point extending from the Hengchun Peninsula to the Bashi Strait, where coral reefs erode the coast. Coastal coral reefs have been bulged out of the sea due to orogeny, and have been eroded by long-term waves, repeated dry and wet, and sand and gravel dissolution, resulting in various strange landscapes. For example, the coastline looks like a pleated skirt, so it is called the skirt reef coast. There is another coral reef in the sea that breaks off from the sea cliff. It is shaped like a squatting cat, hence the name.
The eighth stop is Baisha Bay. The sand is actually not too white. It is just the last Mexican beach that landed ashore in Ang Lee's movie "Life of Pi".
The ninth stop, Ajia's home, is located at No. 90, Guangming Road, Hengchun Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan. It was converted into a homestay because of the popularity of the movie "Cape No. 7" and became a check-in place.
The fire broke out at the tenth station, but it was just a gravel field with natural gas and smoke.

The courtyard is actually called a pavilion. Judging from the appearance, the building of the main pavilion seems to have 2 floors, but it is actually 4 floors. The first floor is the entrance, guide hall, curio essence exhibition, Qing Dynasty furniture exhibition, religious sculptures, calligraphy and paintings, documents, rubbings, etc.; the second floor exhibits porcelain, calligraphy and painting, etc.; the third floor displays national treasures, bronzes, jades, Weaving and embroidery, etc.; the next floor is various special research rooms, etc. The exhibits cover almost the entire 5,000-year history of China, and each piece is a masterpiece, which is breathtaking and unforgettable.
