Preface · Dependence
In March 2019, when I was 20 years old, I came to Yunnan and Lijiang for the first time.
Because of the tight schedule that time, I visited Dali, Lijiang, Lugu Lake and Shangri-La in a week, and Lijiang was only used as a place to rest and didn’t go shopping much, so I left a thought at that time, and I must feel Lijiang well next time , made an appointment for a travelogue.
Lijiang may be overly popular and commercialized in the eyes of many people. Many travelers who pay attention to travel experience and are "picky" will use Lijiang as a transit point, and prefer places such as Shanggrali and Lugu Lake. And today I want to tell you about a cost-effective trip to Lijiang.
In October 2019, when I was 21 years old, I came to Yunnan for the third time and Lijiang for the second time.
This is what Lijiang should look like (Trailer)
In everyone's youth, there is a period about travel longing
I know, Lijiang is your long-lingering dream
Many people say that Lijiang is already a place full of commercial atmosphere.
Over time, you also become disliked Lijiang
Is Lijiang worth visiting?
Then come with me to see what Lijiang should look like
Walking on the stone road in the early morning, walking into the depths of the alley at a certain corner, eating a bowl of authentic Yunnan rice noodles.
During the rainy season in Lijiang, it is rare to see the blue sky and white clouds. After a rain, you can see the snow-capped mountains and white clouds in the distance connecting together, which makes people feel suddenly bright.
On the mountain, the clouds are light and the wind is light, the sparse trees in the ancient city dot the land, and the sun is shining and fading.
Looking for a small courtyard, drinking tea in a daze, wasting time.
People in Sifang Street are singing and dancing, and the enthusiasm of Lijiang is like the warm sun.
Watching another grand performance, the story of the caravan eulogizes Lijiang's thousand-year history. In Eternal Love, give me one day, and give you back a thousand years.
Walking along the Shuhe River, you can see dogs sleeping on the ground everywhere. The quietness and leisure here make the animals "lazy". They are so happy~
Travel back 20 years and find out what Lijiang looked like back then. There are few tourists in Baisha Ancient Town, the dyed cloth on the street is decorated with ancient houses, the sun is on the top of the mountain, and the snow is in front.
There is a colorful village inhabiting quietly in the south of Lijiang River. There are few people here. You will occasionally see local old women in ethnic costumes chatting and walking together.
When the lights come on at night, the colorful and beautiful "Paper Umbrella Street" turns Lijiang into a colorful dream.
Send myself a letter from Lijiang, and when I went back to receive it, I just received greetings from Lijiang.
1. Day and night, tranquility and noise in the ancient city
In the morning light, the ancient city is quiet, the footsteps are light, and the time is light.
In the morning, the ancient city of Lijiang completely got rid of the lively and crowded impression.
At this time, it is better to face the sun, find an alley and get in, and eat a bowl of steaming Yunnan rice noodles deep in the alley.
I always feel that the alley is suitable for a person to stroll slowly, look at the small shops that have just opened, people who occasionally rush on the street, and even the figure of a cat will be attracted.
The ancient city in the morning is especially suitable for daze, suitable for finding a quiet coffee shop, slowing down and thinking.
It is said that Lijiang is the capital of Aventure. I think this Aventure is from meeting the sunshine of Lijiang, meeting the slow pace of Lijiang, meeting the purity of Lijiang in the morning and the liveliness of the night.
It is better to have an affair with a person than to have an affair with a place, because the person will leave, but the place will always be there.
Wait until sunset, the sky becomes very beautiful, accompanied by clouds, back to the center of the ancient city.
At night, when the lights are on, the ancient city is the busiest. The night with stories makes the streets crowded. Tourists from all directions want to experience the bustling streets of the ancient city.
No matter where you go, the singing and drumming will never stop. This is the "South of Colorful Clouds" you have been looking forward to.
Beautiful Lijiang, people on the road.
There are also river lanterns sold inside, which reminds me of the scene of releasing river lanterns in ancient times, which entrusts people's good wishes.
Good night, Lijiang.
2. Stroll along the Shuhe River and experience the authentic Naxi style
The name Shuhe, the first thing I thought of was the online game "Tian Long Ba Bu". I was so obsessed with this game when I was in junior high school, so that Dali, Shilin and other places seemed to be familiar to me a long time ago. a feeling of.
Compared with the ancient city of Lijiang, Shuhe is a little less noisy and more quiet.
This is the second time I have come to Shuhe, but it is still as beautiful as the first time I saw it.
As soon as you enter, you can see this wishing corridor, which is densely filled with wishes from all over the world, including expectations for love, blessings for relatives, and yearning for academic success.
Shuhe Ancient Town now accepts tickets, which can be purchased at the entrance. If you forget to bring your student ID card like me, it is also effective to log in to the educational administration system to check the information and show it to the staff.
Shuhe is one of the earliest settlements of Naxi ancestors in Lijiang Bazi, and it is also an important well-preserved market town on the Ancient Tea Horse Road.
The sound of horseshoes, where will you go.
This should be the place where the river flows the most, and it has a kind of beauty like Jiangnan.
Passing by a street, this brand successfully caught my attention, so interesting haha!
There will be a performance in the "Sifang Tingyin" in the ancient town, and you can watch it according to the time. In addition, you can also take a sightseeing bus from Sifang Street back to Sifang to listen to the music with the scenic spot tickets for free.
The Ancient Tea-Horse Road Museum is part of the “Shuheyuan” architectural complex of Mu’s chieftain in the Ming Dynasty. There are six murals in it. Like the Baisha murals, it is the only surviving example of Ming Dynasty murals in Yunnan and is listed as a provincial cultural relic. The surrounding buildings are the teaching buildings of Shuhe Primary School in the period of the Republic of China, which have been fully protected. It is an important place for tourists to understand the history and culture of the Ancient Tea Horse Road.
The museum can be visited for free with tickets to the Shuhe Scenic Area, and there are free explanations inside. If you don't hurry, you can go shopping.
It turns out that in addition to the ancient city of Lijiang, there is also a "Paper Umbrella Street" in Shuhe, which can be seen at the entrance of the Ancient Tea Horse Road Museum.
The museum is divided into five exhibition areas: Preface Hall, Mural Exhibition Hall, History Hall 1, History Hall 2, Shuhe Life Hall, and Shuhe Cobbler Hall. Show visitors the rich history and culture of the region.
The Ancient Tea-Horse Road originated from the tea-horse trade in the southwestern frontier in ancient times. It flourished in the Tang and Song Dynasties, flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and flourished in the middle and late stages of World War II. The Ancient Tea-Horse Road is divided into Sichuan-Tibet Road and Yunnan-Tibet Road, connecting Sichuan-Yunnan-Tibet, extending into China, Sikkim, Nepal, India, until West Asia and the Red Sea coast of West Africa.
The Ancient Yunnan-Tibet Tea-Horse Road was formed in the late sixth century AD. It started from Simao and Puer, the main tea-producing areas in Yunnan, in the south, passed through today's Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture and Lijiang, entered Tibet, and went straight to Lhasa. Some are also re-exported from Tibet to India and Nepal, which is an important trade channel between ancient China and South Asia. Pu'er is a unique place of origin and transit distribution center for goods on the Ancient Tea-Horse Road, with a long history.
On the way to Jiuding Longtan, you will see these three wells next to each other, named "Three Eyes Well".
It is actually a manifestation of the ancient local water-saving method, using the flow of water to form three wells side by side from top to bottom. The far left of the three-eye well is used as the source of spring water, which can be used for drinking water, the middle is used for washing vegetables, and the far right is used for washing clothes.
On the north side of the ancient town, there is a beautiful pool of water - Jiuding Longtan.
Jiuding Longtan is adjacent to Longquan Mountain in the west and Qinglong River in the east. There are two semicircular small stone pools with one up and one down. There is a pavilion between the two pools, which is the best place to watch "Jiuding Longtan". The water of Jiuding Longtan comes from the crevices of the stones at the foot of Longquan Mountain. The water in the pond is not deep, but it is not muddy in summer and not shallow in winter. Generally, clear water overflows from the crevices of the rocks, nourishing the ancient town forever.
The blue-green pool water is very dreamy and very beautiful.
I secretly photographed a couple taking wedding photos, which is very beautiful.
Strolling along the trails of the ancient town, you can see the scattered Naxi folk houses everywhere. The well-preserved ancient roads, markets, and water systems can always make people feel a strong cultural atmosphere.
The stone roads on the street that have been trampled smooth by people and horses seem to still be able to see the prosperity of the past.
To be honest, I am a little envious of the dogs here, the warm sunshine, sleeping on the ground is very comfortable, and the slow pace of the whole ancient town is very relaxing.
Shuhe, see you next time.
3. Traveling through time and meeting Lijiang 20 years ago in Baisha
Baisha Ancient Town is the least famous of the three ancient towns in Lijiang (the other two are Dayan Ancient Town and Shuhe Ancient Town). It is an ancient town located beside the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
The commercial atmosphere here is not strong at all, and it can be regarded as an "ancient town" in the true sense. It used to be the capital of the ancient kingdom of Naxi and was listed as a world cultural heritage.
In the ancient town, you can look up and see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in the distance. The white clouds wrap around the mountain, and the scenery is picturesque.
After staying in a lively place for a long time, I always like this primitive and quiet place in my heart.
If you want to relax your body and mind, you can stay in the ancient town for a few days. The large fields, quaint villages, and snow-capped mountains are enough to make you relax physically and mentally.
The first thing you see when you come here is the "Baisha Mural", which is a famous scenic spot in Baisha Ancient Town. , has lasted for more than 300 years, and there are 55 murals in existence.
Because the time here is limited, I want to spend more time in the ancient town, so I didn't go in and visit it. If there is enough time, it is worth visiting, and the tickets are not too expensive.
There are many tie-dye shops in the ancient town, and these colorful face cloths add some vitality to this gray-blue ancient town.
The ground paved with stone slabs, the mahogany houses with blue bricks and black tiles, and the locust trees on the roadside are the memories of childhood, and there is a feeling of deja vu.
The old couple in the shot were met by us on the train. We were all in a private room on the train. They came to Yunnan from northeast China to play with their son. On Sifang Street, the old woman recognized me and greeted me. I didn't realize it at the first time, but I realized it later. It was really a coincidence.
The old lady is very similar to Song Dandan in terms of appearance and accent. Personally, I think Dongbei's tone of voice is quite funny. We said goodbye after chatting for a while.
How nice they are to travel hand in hand!
The dogs here are so cute, I couldn't help but take a group photo.
Only the days to come are long, let’s sleep in the warm afternoon sun and make a cup of coffee.
4 · Give me a day, give you back a thousand years
The wind, the shadow of the moon whirling, misty rain, but make flowers fall.
You say, why do the flowers fall? A stream of spring water flows by.
Rain, thousands of miles of mist, covered by clouds and mist, but it provokes silence.
You say, why is this dream, how many flowers fall in the dream.
The safflowers are falling and the moon is dancing along the water. I am sad to tell someone.
I would like to dance lightly and sing to the wine with you, and to sing to the wine.
Even though wandering around the world in vain as a song of the end of the world, why, tears fall.
—— "Lijiang Eternal Love Theme Song" Lyrics
I have heard of Qianguqing for a long time. At first I felt that this kind of performance was different from ordinary performances, but after experiencing it myself, I can only use two words to describe it, "shocking" and "moving", just as the slogan said: this is The show of a lifetime.
When I come to Lijiang again, I don't want to miss this show repeatedly recommended by my friends. When I stood at the door, I said, "Here I come!"
Lijiang Eternal Scenery Area is a living ancient tea-horse city, including thematic areas such as Tea-Horse Ancient Street, Nacuo Sea, Snow Mountain Beach, and Ethnic Villages, showing Lijiang’s millennium-old culture and historical customs.
From the ancient city, you can take a special line bus to the Qiangu Scenic Area. I will put the specific time, route and other information guides in the dry goods part at the end of the article.
Blue sky and white clouds, the ages are long ~
There is a large parking lot inside, and there is a guide map of the Lijiang Qiangu Scenery Area on the left, and the ticket hall is right in front of you.
> White Tower Square
After checking the tickets, you will see the huge White Tower, hence the name White Tower Square.
The White Pagoda and prayer flags are the symbols of Tibet. Lijiang is an important transit center on the Ancient Tea-Horse Road. Tibetan culture spread to Lijiang along with the Ancient Tea-Horse Road and became an integral part of Lijiang’s multi-ethnic culture. Therefore, most ethnic groups in Lijiang believe in Tibetan Buddhism and Dongba Buddhism, the White Pagoda and prayer flags can be seen everywhere in Lijiang, and they have also become historical witnesses of cultural exchanges between various ethnic groups.
It looks very beautiful against the blue sky.
The small flowers all over the street are very charming, as if welcoming every visitor.
> Ancient Tea Horse Street
Walking into the Ancient Tea-Horse Street, there are row upon row of shops, verdant green plants everywhere, and endless yelling, and you will suddenly feel the simple and strong atmosphere of the Ancient Tea-Horse Road.
There is a huge mural of the ancient tea-horse road here, which reproduces a living ancient tea-horse road and a living ancient tea-horse city for the world. You can appreciate the colorful ancient tea-horse road culture here.
> Snow mountain beach
Because there is still some time before the performance of the ancient love at 4:30 in the afternoon, I just wandered around the scenic spot.
Walking through the Ancient Tea Horse Street, the scenic spot on the right is the "Snow Mountain Beach", which is a small man-made beach. Under the bright sun, sitting in a grass shed eating ice cream, looking at the holy Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, is very pleasant.
I also saw couples wearing ancient costumes who came here for a long time. It felt great. Their direction was to "walk the marriage bridge".
> Walking the Marriage Bridge
The Walking Marriage Bridge is across the Nacuo Sea. Walking Marriage is a unique form of marriage for the Mosuo people.
To the Mosuo people, walking on the marriage bridge is equivalent to the legendary meeting of magpies in ancient times, and it is a beautiful sustenance of eternal love. According to legend, people who love each other walk hand in hand, can witness the faithful love, and make the love last longer.
Colorful flags are fluttering in the wind, lovers coming and going on the bridge are talking about love, single dogs will be hurt ten thousand points!
> Mosuo Village
Then we came to Mosuo Village, where waterwheels, colorful flags, white pagodas and houses formed the small village.
The Mosuo people are considered to be the matrilineal clan that still exists in China. The grandmother has the highest status and lives in the "grandmother's house". The "grandmother's house" integrates the essence of the entire Mosuo culture. place.
The Mosuo people are a branch of the Naxi nationality and mainly live on the banks of Lugu Lake. The Mosuo people implement the "walking marriage" system of "no marriage for men and no marriage for women", and the way of walking marriage is called "climbing flower building".
> Sakura Valley
Going forward is the "Sakura Valley", which is an open area on the edge of the scenic spot.
On the hill of Cherry Blossom Valley, there are many flowers and plants, which is a good place to take pictures.
Sure enough, couples can be seen everywhere~
On the other side, you can see the snow-capped mountain beach just now, and there are also seats below for everyone to rest.
I wanted to continue strolling slowly, but when I saw that the performance was about to start, I ran all the way, just in time.
> Eternal love performance
"Eternal Love in Lijiang" was created by Songcheng Performing Arts, the first performing arts company in China. It is rooted in Lijiang's profound historical and cultural soil and is the soul of Lijiang's culture.
She is like a national epic that permeates Changhong, telling the magnificent and long scrolls of "Naxi Genesis", "Lugu Daughter Kingdom", "Legend of the Caravan", "The Ancient Road and Today's Wind", "The Third Country of Jade Dragon" and "Looking for Shambhala", cohesive The representative folk symbols and cultural elements of Lijiang. In just 60 minutes, the audience will get rid of the dust of the millennium, and feel Lijiang's soul and flesh, life and death, love and affection.
You just need to calm down, enjoy it, and appreciate it.
Preface: Naxi Genesis
The Naxi people are an ancient and wise nation, they have created a splendid Dongba civilization in a difficult living environment.
Act I: Lugu's Daughter Kingdom
The quiet and beautiful Lugu Lake, the ancient and mysterious daughter country, is a paradise on earth that haunts dreams. The Mosuo people living here are a branch of the Naxi nationality. They are the only ethnic group in the world that retains the matrilineal clan relationship. They still continue the custom of walking marriage that men do not marry and women do not marry.
The coaxing water poured down in an instant, and everyone on the scene applauded.
Act Two: The Legend of the Caravan
Lijiang is famous all over the world because of the ancient tea-horse road. In a sense, the glory of Lijiang is the glory of horseshoes; The movement of life; the caravan, which shoulders the task of transporting the imperial court and Mufu, set off again!
This picture, stand up!
Make a bleak comparison for the following parting, and after that, we will start to embark on a long journey.
I was a little moved to see this, the caravans in ancient times were really not easy.
Scene III: Ancient Road and Today's Wind
Generations of caravans are endless. The Ancient Tea Horse Road, known as the "Southern Silk Road", is a civilized road for economic and trade exchanges between ethnic minorities in southwest China and foreign countries. Today, Lijiang, as a unique transit and distribution center on the Ancient Tea Horse Road, has also ushered in the splendor of the convergence of Han and Chinese, the gathering of merchants, silk and bamboo orchestras, dancing and singing.
Act IV: Jade Dragon Third Kingdom
The Naxi nation is a nation that advocates the freedom of love. In the process from the original walking marriage system to the orders of their parents and the words of matchmakers, they paid a heavy price for their love.
Tail: Looking for Shangri-La
Today, people from all over the world come here to find the Shangri-La in their hearts.
The background at the back suddenly opened up, everyone clapped their hands and applauded, it was so beautiful, and suddenly brightened.
The scene brought us into the Shangri-La in our dreams...
Put your hands together and say goodbye to the eternal love. Each of us has our own beliefs in our hearts.
After coming out of the Qianguqing Grand Theater, it is the Qianguqing Cultural Square, and everyone gathered here after coming out.
Because, five minutes later, there will be a spicy king contest here!
> Eternal Love Pepper Festival
Looking at this scene, it is very burning, everyone is "ready to move", wanting to go up and try their skills.
First, there was a hot dance warm-up by a girl, which instantly ignited the atmosphere of the scene.
There are a lot of people who want to challenge, but the number is limited. Participants can get a certificate for participating in the competition, and the first place can get additional rewards. If you can eat spicy food, you must not miss it here.
After the host gave the order, everyone began to eat the spicy millet on their plate. The first place was actually a girl from the north who ate 26 in one minute, almost breaking the record!
> Great Earthquake Performance
The performances in the scenic spot were really one after another. After the chili show, the Qianguqing Theater ushered in the live experience drama "The Great Earthquake".
At the scene, some audience actors will be recruited to experience and complete the play, and all participants can get a certificate as a commemoration.
The performance of "Great Earthquake" truly reproduced the tragic scene of the Wenchuan Earthquake, landslides and ground cracks, houses collapsed, and 3,000 cubic meters of floods poured down in an instant...
Each true story and each touching picture show the boundless love of the Chinese nation to fight the earthquake with one heart and one mind.
The rescue fighters found a child who had survived under the protection of his mother. After waking up, the child couldn't accept it and cried for his mother. Finally, the soldiers forcibly took him away.
Without a bridge deck, the soldiers used their bodies to build bridges to allow the survivors to pass, and the squad leader sacrificed his life for it.
Kongming lanterns illuminate the stage, wishing the world peace.
I was a little hungry after playing all afternoon, so I went to the snack street to find food.
> Snack Street
Watchtowers towering along the snack street, horse bells ringing, tofu workshops, breweries, Mahan tea houses, Naxi snack workshops are booming in business, smoke from cooking, Lijiang Baba, Dali milk fans, local chicken rice noodles, fried bamboo worms and other Yunnan specialties. Everything is available, giving your taste buds a new experience.
> Mufu recruits a son-in-law
I just ate for a few minutes when I came here, and I missed the program of Mufu’s recruiting son-in-law, so friends who plan to come to Qianguqing watch the show time, don’t miss it~ (I will also write the time and program list in the strategy part at the end of the article )
> Homeless singer
At 6:40 in the evening, the caravan square remembered the sound of music. The wandering singers sang and attracted tourists to watch. They listened to the songs while eating and enjoyed the wonderful time of eternal love.
> Flash Mob
Of course, the flash mob event in the scenic area should not be missed. The Chili Festival-themed costumes and fiery music create an atmosphere at once. In the end, the hot girl even danced with the tourists to experience the passion and boldness of the eternal love.
Originally there was a program of Chili Guozhuang at 8:30 in the evening, but due to time constraints, I couldn’t stay. I can’t wait to go back to the ancient city for a full meal~
Finally, if there is a chance, I will watch the Eternal Love performance again, and I strongly recommend it!
Wu Looking at the ancient city, I like your peaceful appearance
When you come to Lijiang, if you want to see the whole picture of the ancient city, Lion Rock is the first choice.
Navigation Walk up the mountain from the city, and you will pass many restaurants and bars built on the mountainside along the way. Although you can overlook the ancient city there, it is not as shocking and open as you can see on the top of the mountain.
You can scan the code to buy tickets at the door, and you can save a few dollars by binding a bank card. Generally speaking, Lion Rock is not too big, and you can go shopping in one hour.
There is a viewing platform on the left hand side after entering the door. The sun shining through the clouds on the opposite mountain is very beautiful, but don't worry, the better view is still behind.
When I went there, I saw several foreigners. I think Yunnan must be a paradise in the eyes of foreigners.
You can see many tall trees of this kind in it. There are more than 30 ancient cypresses in Lion Mountain, which were planted by the chieftain of Mufu. The forests are more than 400 years old.
Walking up from the observation deck for a few minutes, you will arrive at the Wangu Building, which is the tallest building in Lion Rock.
In Dongba language, Wangulou is interpreted as Millennium Wandailou, and in Naxi language, it is called Wengulun, which means viewing from a commanding height. Because of its homonym, it is named Wangulou.
Wan Zhe means overlooking the ancient city of Lijiang and its pastoral scenery, and looking at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Glacier for thousands of years. It also means that Lijiang will restore and rebuild its homeland, which will last forever and be immortal.
The plane of the Wangu Building is square, and four pairs of stone lions of different shapes are placed at the entrances on all sides.
It is a tower-style five-layer eaves full-wood structure building with a height of 33 meters and 16 main pillars, all of which are connected to the sky.
There are many colorful patterns in the building. It is said that there are as many as 10,000 dragons engraved and painted inside, entrusting people's good wishes.
The glass window in the middle of the viewing window on each floor of the Wangu Building is open for tourists to watch and take pictures.
The top floor of the Wangu Building is the best point to overlook the ancient city, where you can see all the scenery at a glance, which is very beautiful.
The grand scale of Lijiang Old Town can only be fully appreciated here.
This was taken behind the Wangu Building, which integrates the Lion Rock and the ancient city. Many photographers also like to take pictures here.
The closing time in the afternoon goes to 6:30, and people will no longer be allowed to enter at 6:00, so friends who want to go to Lion Mountain pay attention to the time~
Have you been to the four most beautiful streets and alleys in the ancient city of Lu?
I have been to Lijiang twice, but I have already traveled all the roads in the ancient city, and some roads have been walked back and forth three or four times. In the process of traveling all over the ancient city, I also found some of the most beautiful streets and alleys that I would like to share with you.
This part can be regarded as exclusive~ Except for the last one, the names are all taken by myself, so that it is convenient for the image
① "Paper Umbrella Street"
This street may be the most popular one in the ancient city. The official name is Guangyi Street Xianwen Lane. Looking up, there are oil-paper umbrellas all over the sky, just like walking into poetry and painting.
② "Lantern Street"
As the name suggests, Lantern Street is full of lanterns, and the alley next to Wuyi Street seems to be Zhenxing Alley.
③ "Gourd Street"
I found this street by accident. It’s on the north side of the ancient city. I forgot the exact name. Anyway, it’s close to the road, and the bells are very nice when the wind blows~
④ Dayan Flower Alley
In the ancient city, Dayan Flower Lane is one of my favorite places. Here, you can be a person who is not influenced by time.
7. Experience of "locals" in Zhongyi Market
The vegetable market hides the most authentic appearance of the city. If you want to understand a city, it is better to visit the vegetable market first.
Zhongyi Market is the most human-like place in Lijiang City. The rhythm and life of the whole city are displayed here without pretense.
Some people say that when you lose confidence in life and feel lost, you should go to the vegetable market. Because there are people who love life there, and they can always bring you hope here.
Wang Zengqi once said: "In a new place, some people like to go to department stores and some people like to go to bookstores. I would rather go to the vegetable market. Look at the raw chicken and duck, fresh and juicy vegetables, and red peppers. Being squeezed makes people feel a kind of joy in life.”
The more messy it is, the more it represents the breath of life, and the more crowded it is, the more it is popular with the locals.
The "steaming" of life is not elsewhere, but here.
8. Looking for Lijiang delicacies, traveling with taste buds
When I came to Lijiang this time, I didn’t do a food guide specifically, because there are too many delicacies in Lijiang, so I simply arrived to see what delicious food is nearby, but this has unexpected surprises.
I live near the north gate of the ancient city (the last time I lived at the south gate, so I moved to another place this time). When I first came to Lijiang, I arrived in the afternoon. I didn’t have time to eat at noon, so I must make up for it in the evening. Suddenly.
① Uncle Wen Yak Meat Hot Pot
Sure enough, as soon as I came to Lijiang, I found a yak beef hot pot near the north gate. You must be full after eating beef~
Uncle Wen’s yak meat restaurant has three stores in the ancient city of Lijiang. I went to the third store at the North Gate. The owner is from Chaoshan. You can hear the accent. He is a very enthusiastic man. He always smiles and makes people feel easy to get close to.
We arrived at the store at about seven o'clock in the evening, and the store was still quite lively.
The shop is not too big, there are three tables for two people, four tables for three people, and a private room. The kitchen is open and you can directly see the inside from the outside.
The whole store is warm and relaxed, very grounded.
In addition to dining, his house also sells a lot of self-sold wine, beef and other things, so you can bring some food and drink back here by the way.
His beef consumption is very authentic, without any additives, the meat is tender and delicious. On the basis of Cantonese dishes, the soup is cooked with local pine fungus. It is clear but not light, and can well preserve the original food. the taste of.
The hungry stomach finally settled down. The yak meat is chewy, and you can eat it directly after the pot is opened. Don’t cook it for too long, otherwise it will not be as delicious as it was at the beginning.
Here is Cantonese's favorite sand tea sauce, and of course his own secret sauce.
The beef balls are very delicate and are said to be handmade. Be careful when eating the beef balls, the juice inside may burst out.
The first time I saw the red heart potatoes, I thought it was some auxiliary ingredients added to the potatoes. The waiter said that it was a local specialty, and it was the first time I ate plateau red heart potatoes. It is not easy to boil, so don’t worry, you can let it slowly cook.
Even the corn inside is sweet~
After eating, have a cup of snow swallow soup, the sweet coconut tastes delicious, clears the mouth and helps digestion.
② Alley boutique private kitchen dishes
Because I was going to Qianguqing the next afternoon, I didn’t want to go too far at noon. I found a restaurant near Wuyi Street, and planned to go back to the hotel after lunch and take a car to Qianguqing.
I was interested in seeing a private kitchen while I was walking. I searched the Internet for good reviews, so I went to try it. It was a perfect experience, because this restaurant has different cuisines and different tastes, which completely satisfied my taste buds.
This store is on the Internet celebrity "Lantern Street", so we can check in together. The store is small and exquisite, and there are two places to eat inside and outside.
The store is very artistic, there are a lot of flowers outside the window, when I was eating, I saw a few young ladies in Hanfu taking pictures outside.
Our meals in the outer hall are clean, tidy, spacious and bright.
You can also drink tea here before and after meals. His family has excellent Pu'er. If time is not urgent, I would like to soak here for two hours. The boss is also from Guangdong. He was born in 1995 and is very young. He is only three years older than me~
I have to say that the dishes in the alley are very rich and authentic, including Cantonese and Hunan and Sichuan styles, which suit most people's tastes.
In addition, I was amazed by the appearance of his dishes. The appearance is high and the taste is not inferior.
Salt-baked chicken is a famous Hakka dish for a long time. The skin is soft and the meat is tender, fragrant and delicious. It is indeed a signature dish. It is so delicious and must be ordered!
The dish of tofu stew is beyond my imagination. I heard that this is his homemade dish. It combines tofu and eggs, and bites it down. It is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The taste is not so good!
The secret snow mountain fish in the alley is also the main dish. The fish is tender, delicious and appetizing. If you are eating with friends, you must order~
The blueberry yam is also very beautiful. This dish is very suitable for "snacks" after meals. The blueberry yam is delicious and healthy. It feels like a dish suitable for men, women and children.
The waiters in the store are all local Naxi girls, who are warm and simple, and the service, taste, and experience are all very good. After dinner, I went back to take a lazy nap.
③Shiquanjiu American Cured Spare Ribs Wild Mushroom Hot Pot
When I came to Yunnan and came to Lijiang, waxed pork ribs are naturally indispensable. After coming back from Qianguqing, I got off at the south gate and found a waxed pork ribs hot pot restaurant nearby. It is not far from Mufu, a cross road The corner of the mouth is just around the corner.
Close to the street, two floors with a small yard, easy to find.
The boss and I are from Sichuan, and we changed from speaking Mandarin to Sichuan dialect, which is much more cordial.
There are many seats facing the street on both floors. At night, sitting by the window, eating pork ribs, chatting while drinking, and spending the night in the ancient city leisurely.
There are many waiters in the store, most of whom are locals. Basically, the tea will not stop. If the soup is not enough, they will immediately ask you if you need more soup.
There are also a lot of home-brewed wine here. It is very pleasant to have a few glasses of plum wine in the evening.
We ordered a set meal for two, cured pork ribs and some side dishes. The cured pork ribs are salty, but the salty taste is just right, and there is less fat.
The cured pork ribs are all cooked, and they can be eaten when the pot is opened, but the wild mushrooms need to be cooked for a while~
The tea served in the store is mint and chrysanthemum tea, which is fragrant and greasy. The potatoes are boiled plateau red potatoes. The dipping sauce is fermented bean curd. In addition, there is Naxi special glutinous rice enema.
How can a trip without delicious food be complete, Lijiang is not only in the singing, but also in the taste buds
Nine Half a Day of Floating Life in Nine Color Rose Town
Going to Nine Colors Rose Town was a complete accident. I returned to the airport from the ancient city of Lijiang that morning, and the plane passed at 12:00 noon, but the time in the morning should not be wasted, so I checked if there is any place to go on the way to the airport. I want to play like this and go back to the airport on the way.
Then I saw Nine Color Rose Town, which is quite close to the airport, but it’s inconvenient to go there by public transportation, so I found a master to take us there, and then sent us back to the airport after playing.
According to the master, this place used to charge tickets. At that time, there were still a lot of rose gardens in the town, but later, due to poor management, fewer and fewer tourists came to visit, so tickets were not charged. Even so, now Not too many people came.
In fact, Rose Town is originally a gathering place of ethnic minorities. In order to develop the local economy, the developers painted the walls of the houses in the town with colors, coupled with the beautiful environment, it is full of roses.
Although it is not very recommended to go (the service facilities are not perfect, and there is no recommended delicious food, in order not to lie to you with photos, hahaha, it is only suitable for a short stay, as to whether it is worth seeing the personal situation), but only from the scenery. Said that the town is still very beautiful, you can go up the hill behind the town and overlook the entire colorful town.
When I was walking on the street, I encountered a group of aerial photography enthusiasts in the alley, and the aerial photography here will be more beautiful.
The colorful houses feel unreal after a long time, like a scene in a painting.
Most of the locals wear local national costumes, and you will often see local women walking on the street.
There are also many 3D murals, which make the slightly boring village come alive.
Generally speaking, this is a place where you don't care whether you go or not, but its existence is a better proof of "Colorful Yunnan".
Pick up Send yourself a letter from Lijiang
The last time I went to Lijiang with my friends, I happened to pass by a store in the ancient city, and my friends said, "Why don't we go in and have a look!"
At that time, there were two friends, one blogger friend wanted to write letters to fans (such bloggers give full marks), and the other young lady wrote letters to her future self, both of which were very interesting.
Every day is a limited edition soft time.
I especially like this kind of postcard with film, it is very delicate.
I picked some postcards and sent them to myself from Lijiang, and I just received them when I went back, and I just received greetings from Lijiang.
end · epilogue
I believe,
No matter where you go, what you experience,
Those are the places we should reach and the scenery we should see.
never lacking in life,
But I always feel that life should be elsewhere,
And the life in Lijiang is somewhere else.
