The July wind is lazy,

Even the clouds are getting hotter,

Soon the day after tomorrow will be dull,

After a cloud, it rained...

In Wen Lan's sweet singing, driving the lazy July wind, I landed at Taipei Songshan Airport.

I can't count the number of times I have come to Taiwan, but every time I come, it is very fresh. Before I came to Taiwan, my impression of her was only limited to words and light and shadow, both real and empty.

The previous trips to Taiwan focused on the northern and western parts of Taiwan, but neglected the eastern part with the most beautiful natural scenery. This time, in nearly half a month, I almost visited the Taito area. With six points of sincerity and four points of exploration, I imprinted the words, lights and shadows on Taiwan in my mind, and stitched them one by one with the real Taiwan.

Itinerary: Taipei - Keelung - Yilan - Hualien - Taitung - Taipei

【Taipei】

Taiwanese food is an indispensable part of traveling in Taiwan. From night markets to Michelin restaurants, from snacks to bubble tea, every kind of food is deeply attracted to me.

The oyster omelet in "The Corner Meets Love" is the key to the love between the little pig and the big S. Many people come to Taiwan to taste whether the taste of the oyster omelette is as good as they remember.

This time coincides with the annual gourmet event - 2019 Taiwan Food Show. The annual food show will be held at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 from July 26th to 29th!

I found a lot of local delicacies on site, as well as exhibitions of scenic spots, small town souvenirs, small town delicacies and midsummer ice products. What surprised me was the production of rare milk shaved ice on site, and found that the design theme was Taiwanese snacks and scenery. The award-winning tableware creation; each theme pavilion is quite rich and diverse!

Huashan Cultural and Creative Park is a literary and artistic settlement in Taipei. It used to be one of the largest breweries in Taiwan, which was rich in sake. Later, due to expensive land and serious water pollution problems in Taipei, Taipei No. 1 Winery moved to another site and became Huashan Cultural Park. Creative space for personal use.

The thick industrial style buildings and the mottled walls under the baptism of time are good shooting locations.

Exquisite cultural and creative shops, interesting graffiti installations, and towering banyan trees all testify to the creative vitality of young people in Taiwan.

I want to go alone to see the night view of Tokyo Tower,

I want to go to Venice alone to watch a movie,

I want to go to Yangmingshan alone to see calla lilies

Penny Tai "One Person's Luggage"

The night view of Yangmingshan is no less than Tokyo Tower in the hearts of Taipei people. In the landscape restaurant on the mountain, watching the night view while eating is a way for many Taipei people and tourists to view the scenery.

The restaurants here are beautifully decorated, the breeze is blowing, and the moon is dancing. It is a good place for lovers to date.

And I chose a small hill behind the Chinese Culture University to watch the night view. You can have a panoramic view of the whole of Taipei, the lights are dim, and the 101 building is not far away.

With the mark of time, the row upon row of street houses and the pier reflected by the slanting light are the most memorable places in Dadaocheng; "Valentine's Day in Dadaocheng" is a carnival event that Dadaocheng should not miss every year on Qixi Festival.

This year's event not only has performances, but also a romantic Valentine's Day fireworks show and thousands of people singing love songs together.

Every year, the event attracts many people. Although the event is full of people, it is still orderly.

Shifen is a small town with a lot of feelings and a sense of age. Time seems to have stopped here.

A railway passes through the town, and the shops on both sides are quaint, with no eye-catching signs, no luxurious decoration, just as simple as a scene in a comic.

The custom of releasing sky lanterns has existed since ancient times, but it became more famous because of the scene of Shen Jiayi and Ke Jingteng releasing sky lanterns together in "The Girl Who Chased Together in Those Years".

Many couples came here admiringly, wrote their vows on the sky lanterns, stood on both sides of the railway, held the sky lanterns in their hands, and prayed for sweet and happy love.

The sky lantern swayed, climbed with the wind, and slowly flew to the sky, carrying hope, floating to the clouds.

From time to time, a small train passes by on the rails, rushing away from the crowd, carrying heavy blessings and wishes, and sailing to the end of happiness.

【Keelung】

Heping Island Park is the childhood memory of many Keelung people. Compared with Yehliu Park, Heping Island in Keelung can be regarded as a very small scenic spot. There are not many tourists, but the natural scenery is not bad at all.

The highest point of the park is the old military radar station, which is now transformed into a cafe, and you can overlook Keelung Island and the sea. The vast sea erosion landform and intertidal zone are good places to learn geography. Alabao Bay is Top 10 best places in the world to watch the sunrise.

The sky is blue and the sea is wide, and every frame is beautiful without filters.

Perhaps, with the sea in your heart, there is Venice everywhere.

The former Zhengbin Fishing Port was not colorful. After the owner of one of the restaurants painted the exterior walls, the surrounding residents also painted the exterior walls one after another, forming a new online beauty spot in Keelung. Although Zhengbin Fishing Port no longer sees the grand occasions of fishing boats coming in and out in the early days, the colorful houses make the fishing village port full of vitality, and it has also won the title of Taiwan's version of Venice.

The colors of each house are so fresh and bright, brighter than the rainbow in the sky. The Zhengbin fishing port under the lens is tightly packed together, just like the candy house in the fairy tale. If you can try it, it must be strawberry flavored.

【Yilan】

Yilan in the northeast can be said to be the back garden of Taipei. Taipei people prefer to spend weekends in Yilan, which can be reached in less than an hour from Taipei.

Not far from the Snow Mountain Tunnel is the Lanyang Museum in Yilan. This is a window to know Yilan. The museum building uses natural elements and adopts the form of a single-sided mountain that is common on the northeast coast.

There are rich displays in the Yilan Museum, so that tourists can quickly understand the land of Yilan, including the natural formation of Yilan, aboriginal people and festival customs and other natural, historical and cultural information, which can be used as the first stop of Yilan travel.

The Lanyang Museum does not give people a sense of distance, as evidenced by the endless stream of visitors.

The real name is envious of Taiwanese who can have endless exhibitions, sharing sessions, and various cultural and creative markets. Every county and city has its own unique cultural and creative parks, which have fostered a strong cultural atmosphere in Taiwan.

The Zhongxing Cultural and Creative Park in Yilan was transformed from the Zhongxing Paper Factory. The factory was built in 1935 and has the largest production scale in Taiwan. It stopped production in 2001 and was transformed into a cultural and creative park a few years ago.

The main building is a gray and white building with a slightly decadent feel. Occasionally, a clump of emerald green emerges from the house. Against the background of green grass and blue sky, it forms a strong contrast, giving local people and foreign tourists a new check-in place. .

【Hualien】

Staying in a homestay is also an indispensable experience in Taiwan travel. The owner of the homestay will use the spare room for self-driving to provide accommodation for tourists, so that we can have a home during the journey.

Traveling in Hualien, I stayed at Zizai B&B by the sea, where you can see the Pacific Ocean from the room.

With an independent yard and a spacious living room area, you will feel a sense of intimacy as soon as you enter the door.

Although everyone thinks that the best food is in the naturally formed snack street downstairs, Dongmen Night Market will definitely bring you a different experience.

Hualien's Ziqiang Night Market and Nanbin Night Market have been integrated, and all of them are gathered in Dongmen Night Market, which has developed quite maturely.

In addition to the food area, there is also a game area, including poking holes, shooting hoops, hoops and even gambling games, which are very attractive to children.

Don't worry about stepping on mine here. You can see which small store has the longest queue, just follow the crowd in line. Known by netizens as the first barbecue specialist in Hualien, and Jiang’s coffin plate, a famous restaurant in Ziqiang Night Market, are all delicacies that everyone waits patiently for.

Not to mention, I started to feel greedy again after writing here.

As a super fan of Starbucks, Starbucks is also a must for me to check in when I go to a place. And this Starbucks store in Hualien is the most distinctive I have ever seen.

The entire store is made up of several containers, and each container has gone through the journey of different ports in the world, and the final point is located in this place. On the second floor, you can overlook the Pacific Ocean.

Qingshui Cliff is majestic and known as the second largest cliff in the world. It is located in the northern part of Hualien County.

The shape of the cliff is like a sheath, and the cliff is ten thousand zhang. The sharp cliff directly plunges into the Pacific Ocean, and the visual effect is very shocking. The white waves are surging under the feet, and the situation is very dangerous.

The Suhua Highway built in the middle of the cliff appeared intermittently under the barrier of these tunnels.

Perhaps, the meaning of living is to find a way that suits you to finish your life.

This section of the Suhua Highway is really beautiful. I met a group of students who graduated and traveled around the island. They used their own strength to do volunteer work in one place. I really appreciate this way of traveling and living. I can travel thousands of miles and be able to do something meaningful.

Next year, I will come to ride around the island alone.

I have seen a video before. The whale was entangled in the fishing net and could not swim. After the people on the boat discovered it, they cut the fishing net for it regardless of the danger. The freed whale expressed its joy by jumping and writhing on the sea surface. A child told his mother that he understood what the whale wanted to express: "It's free."

May to September is the whale watching season in Taitung, Hualien. You can almost see whales and dolphins when you go out to sea by boat. The cetaceans living in the sea are much happier than in the ocean park, they are in groups and free.

Humans and nature exist in harmony.

【Taitung】

Taitung is a county with relatively concentrated aborigines. One-third of the population is aboriginal. There are six aboriginal ethnic groups in Taitung. The integration of various ethnic groups makes Taitung today present a rich , Diversified style, also created the unique inclusive culture of Taitung County.

Therefore, when you come to Taitung, you must experience the local aboriginal culture. Therefore, I booked a hotel with the theme of aboriginal people—Naluwan Hotel. As soon as I walked into the hotel lobby, I was fascinated by the various ethnic elements of the hotel. Attractive, the center of the lobby displays the traditional canoe from the Dawu people in Lanyu.

The hotel rooms also have a strong ethnic style, open the curtains of the room, you can overlook the Green Island and the sea. To understand Taitung aboriginal culture, start from the hotel.

In addition to the aboriginal elements, the rooms on the 4th floor of the hotel are all Wulongyuan themed. If you like the animation of "Oolongyuan", you can experience the theme room.

Listen to the hungry tide of the Pacific Ocean in July, and witness the launch of a hot air balloon in August.

The small wish of watching a hot air balloon has come true, instead of flying to distant Turkey, the Taitung Hot Air Balloon Carnival is just as beautiful.

Although you need to get up early to watch the hot air balloon, there were already many people when I arrived at Luye Gaotai, the site of the hot air balloon carnival. Taitung’s annual hot air balloon carnival attracts many people to long queues. In addition to queuing up to buy tickets on the spot, this year’s Taitung Fun Card website also provides hot air balloon mooring reservation services. The number of reservations is limited to 80 people per session.

The hot air balloons with different shapes are very cute, but it's a pity that I didn't get a place to board the hot air balloon for a tour.

In addition to taking a hot air balloon to enjoy the beautiful scenery at Luye Highland, taking a paraglider is also a good way.

After getting off the Luye High Terrace, riding a bicycle in the Luye countryside is also a good way to travel in Taiwan. In the village, I came across a car dealership called "Adu's Shop". From a distance, it looked like a car dealership, but when I walked into the shop, I saw everything from drinks, cultural and creative products, and travel products. Taitung is rich in black tea, so come here to taste the most authentic black tea.

Adu is the owner of the shop and a tour guide. He also works as a hotel consultant. Many years ago, he gave up the life in the metropolis of Taipei and chose to come to Taitung, the "countryside" in the eyes of urbanites. Tourism is doing its part.

After lunch, Adu took us to ride in the countryside, and explained to us in a humorous way when passing by some scenic spots, which made my impression of this place even more profound.

If you want to visit a place authentically, you should ride a bicycle, follow the explanations of the locals, and get in touch with it at zero distance.

The nearby Bunun tribe was my last stop in Luye. The tribe hidden in the forest seems a bit mysterious, but when you walk into it, you find that tradition and modernity have already been well combined in the tribe, which is exactly the meaning shown by a huge sculpture in the tribe.

For generations, the Bunun people have been constantly accepting new cultures, which makes their culture more prosperous. In the tribe, the traditional architecture and handicraft products of the Bunun people are displayed, and the traditional customs of the nation are introduced, so that tourists can have a better understanding of the aborigines.

The aboriginal restaurants and cafes are run by local villagers. I was surprised by the sudden appearance of African friends. It turned out that they came from afar to work here as volunteers to experience the life of aboriginal people in Taiwan.

There are aboriginal singing and dancing performances every day on weekdays. These local people, including children and elders, show their enthusiasm and ability to sing and dance to tourists.

end

Going around, the trip is almost coming to an end, and finally returned to the market in Taipei. Words are not enough to express the joy and excitement of this journey, but it will never deteriorate if it is treasured in my heart.

Traveling and reading are the lifelong dreams advertised by most young people nowadays, especially after reading so many good travel sharing and what they have learned in books, the idea of going out for a walk all ran out of their brains, but in the end, they could There are very few that are put into action. I really like a sentence in the movie "Broken Wind": Dreams never go far, only ourselves go far...

Taking advantage of the good time, so what if you will be willful for a while?
