The second major wish in life is to go to Xinjiang to feel the broadness, and to go to Tibet to challenge the plateau. The first wish has been fulfilled long ago, but the second wish is daunting because of high altitude, low temperature, low pressure, lack of oxygen and strong ultraviolet rays.
In the mysterious Tibet, the roads are getting better and better, the railways have been in operation for many years, and it is more convenient to fly into Tibet. The word "distant" has become a thing of the past. Tibetan Buddhism, Tibetan customs, the origin of Tibetan medicine and the roof of the world are still mysterious to most people. Tourism in Tibet has also become more and more popular in recent years. Tibet can be visited in all seasons, but the peak season is from May to October every year. In May, the weather is fine, the temperature is getting warmer, and the roads and lakes are thawing. And it is in the off-season before the college entrance examination and high school entrance examination for students, so it is convenient to travel, live, travel and eat with few people. So I ordered a newspaper group online early to participate in a 10-day, 7-night Tibet tour.
May 30th: Shanghai Railway Station at 20:10 p.m., Z164 leaves for Lhasa.
May 31: After a long-distance journey of one day and one night, we arrived at Xining Station at 21:07 p.m. All passengers entering Tibet need to get off at this station and transfer to the plateau oxygen-increasing train operated by the Xining Passenger Transport Section. It is also convenient to transfer on the same platform, the same car, and the same shop number. After getting on the train and exchanging tickets, the train staff began to issue health registration cards for passengers entering Tibet. In addition to basic information, they must know the plateau travel tips, and the body should adapt to travel above 3,000 meters. Haha, it's just a piece of paper to enter Tibet's life and death certificate.
June 1: After passing Golmud in the early morning, we began to climb over the Kunlun Mountains. As the altitude gradually increases, altitude sickness also gradually appears, dizziness, dizziness, lack of appetite, and severe cases of vomiting and insomnia. But the focus is on mentality, maintaining a good mentality, drinking plenty of water (or supplementing glucose solution). After passing Yuzhu Station (4200m) and Kunlun Mountain Station (4767m), you will enter Hoh Xil Nature Reserve. The endless protected area is inaccessible, but it is a paradise for Tibetan antelopes, yaks and wild donkeys. Because it is not the childbirth period, there are no groups of Tibetan antelopes, but only individual small antelopes, yaks and wild donkeys left behind. Tuotuohe Station (4533m) is the lowest point in this section of the altitude. The Tuotuo River, the source of the Yangtze River, flows quietly between the plateau and plains. After passing Amdo Station (4702 meters), the car passes through Tanggula Station (5072 meters), the highest point of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, and then begins to go downhill. At this time, the Qinghai-Tibet Highway accompanied the left and right sides. Today, the Qinghai-Tibet line is an important supply line for aid to Tibet. Not only railway freight, but also large-scale trucks on the roads, and self-driving coaches pass by from time to time. After 10 hours of driving from Golmud, the only stop on the way at 14:00 in the afternoon is Nagqu (4513 meters), an important town in northern Tibet. Most of the passengers in the car got off to breathe the clear air, enjoy the sunshine on the plateau, and took photos of the first trip to Tibet. A commemorative photo. At 18:25 in the evening, the train arrives on time at Lhasa, the capital of Tibet - Sunshine City. When leaving the station, you need to show your ID card for inspection one by one. The Lhasa Railway Station is just a glimpse, and the local agency will pick you up at the hotel. On the first night, my wife suffered from altitude sickness and had a headache on the train. I rested without eating anything. I also felt dizzy, dry mouth, and couldn’t sleep (waking up at 12 o’clock, 1 o’clock, 2 o’clock, and 4 o’clock) Drink water).
June 2: After breakfast, Lhasa tour guide picks up the group at the hotel for a one-day tour of the city. The visit to the Potala Palace requires an appointment and a temporary combination. First go to Zaki Temple, then to Jokhang Temple and Balang Street. Tibetans are a religious nation, and there are many believers in the temples, and there are countless people kowtowing in front of the Jokhang Temple and Balang Street. The effect of visiting with many people is not good. After walking around, you will go out of the temple to breathe fresh air. In the afternoon, visit the Potala Palace. With the reservation voucher, each batch of 14 people will be guided by the tour guide through three security checks. First, visit the Treasure Hall, and then climb up the hill step by step to visit the palace. The White House is the place where the Dalai Lama lives and conducts political activities, and the Red House is the stupa and Buddhist hall of various Dalai Lamas. The Potala Palace is a symbol of Tibet. Its distinctive Tibetan-style architecture is majestic. You can also appreciate the wonderful architectural art, a large number of historical relics and rare treasures. In the square in front of the Potala Palace stands the Monument to the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet. At night, there is a musical fountain, and the lights make the Potala Palace even more charming. On the second night in Tibet, the altitude sickness was a little better, and I felt hungry, so I went to the hotel restaurant to order fried mutton with green onions, ground three delicacies and rice.
June 3: At 8:30 after breakfast, the tour guide took a group of 19 tourists to Linzhi (it is said that there were originally 22 tourists, and 3 returned due to high defecation). Now only the Mira Tunnel remains on the Lalin Expressway, shortening the original 8-10 hour journey on National Highway 318 to 5 hours, so you don’t have to get up early and drive late at night. The high-speed goes upstream along the Lhasa River, next to National Highway 318 (the national highway was repaired when the high-speed was built, and the road conditions have been greatly improved now), get off the high-speed in front of Mira Pass and stop at the watershed (5013 meters) for 20 minutes, go to the toilet, and take pictures Take a souvenir. Pay attention to yourself, walk slowly, get out of the car and go to the toilet to take pictures and then return. My wife reacted too much and didn't get out of the car. After going down the mountain pass, take the expressway and go down the Niyang River, and get off at Gongbujiangda County for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Basongcuo (5A). Cuo, which means lake in Tibetan, has an altitude of 3,700 meters and a lake area of more than 6,000 mu. It is the sacred lake and holy land of the Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism. First take the scenic tour bus to the lake, cross the floating bridge to the island in the middle of the lake. There is a Cuozong Temple in the island. It is said that it has a history of more than 1300 years. It is small in scale. After listening to the tour guide, visit the viewing platform by the lake. , so hastily closed the team and returned to the bus. Arrive in Linzhi Bayi Town in 2 hours by car, check in hotel for rest after dinner with stone pot chicken. The altitude of Nyingchi is only 2900 meters, and there is no altitude sickness at all. It is also the best night to rest after entering Tibet.
On June 4th, I got up in the morning and went to the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon scenic spot in a hurry. Linzhi is known as a small south of the Yangtze River in Tibet, with rich water systems and lush plants on both sides of the road. Especially along the Yarlung Zangbo River, there is a scene in the south of the Yangtze River. When I went to Danniang Township, I suddenly saw a large sand dune beside the river. How could there be such a sand dune in such a Jiangnan landscape? When he was puzzled, the tour guide stopped and said that this scene is called "Buddha's Palm Sand Dunes". Under the sunshine, it is reflected on the river like a Buddha's palm, so it is called. The bus continues to Pai Town (this town was originally the land transfer port to the only county without roads---Medog County, and now it has become the Tourist Service Center of the Grand Canyon Scenic Area), and first takes the tour bus along the cliff and narrow road before entering the scenic spot OK, there are four scenic spots in total. The first: a big mulberry tree (just a big tree and a fan stone), the second: Qingbishijian (a peach tree grows in the middle of a big stone), the third: Nanjiabawa Peak (at an altitude of 7782 meters, it is located at the eastern end of the Himalayas. It is the highest peak in the Nyingchi area. It is covered with snow all the year round and surrounded by clouds and mists. The Yarlung Zangbo River is in close contact with the mountains on both sides of the river, and the spring water flows eastward). The fifth one is Zhibai Village (a small village at the end of the road, which is said to be the best place to watch South Gabawa Peak). After returning to the Grand Canyon Visitor Center for buffet lunch, proceed to the next attraction. On the way, stop at Yani National Wetland Park for sightseeing, where the Niyang River flows into the Yarlung Zangbo River. In the oasis grassland in the river valley, Tibetan yaks graze leisurely. The confluence of the Niyang River can be seen nearby, and the holy mountain of Benri can be seen far away. Arrive at Nanyigou Scenic Area in the afternoon. The ditch is about 10 kilometers long, and you need to take a battery car to drive along the Nanyi River for half an hour. There are four stops along the way. First stop: Impression of Lhoba (Lhoba only has more than 2,300 people in China, and is one of the ethnic groups with a small population in China. Here are some common production, daily necessities and scenes of Lhoba). Second stop: Tibetan pig (a small Tibetan pig Farm), the third stop: Seabuckthorn Island (a small island in the Nanyi River during the flood season, and the water potential is not small at ordinary times, it is a good place to watch the water), the fourth stop: virgin forest (the essence of the ditch, both forest and grassland, Near pastoral scenery, distant mountains and snow). In the evening, return to Bayi Town for dinner with stone pot fish.
June 5: Back to Lhasa, passing through Wuba Folk Village for sightseeing. The village is subsidized by the government to build new houses, and the living conditions are good. A volunteer from Chongqing led a visit to Family No. 7 (the volunteers are fluent in Chinese for easy communication), drank buttered tea in the spacious living room, listened to introductions, visited silverware factories and (volunteer) shopping spots. After leaving the village, go west along National Highway 318, passing Xiuba Ancient Castle, Taizhao Ancient Town (where Songtsan Gampo greeted Princess Wencheng at that time), and Zhongliu Dazhu (without stopping). When we arrived at Mira Mountain Pass, we still stopped to take pictures in the toilet. After a few days of traveling, the altitude sickness has been greatly alleviated, and my wife can also get out of the car and walk to take pictures.
June 6: Today’s itinerary is relatively simple. Go to a shopping spot (Qicai Tibetan Dzi Bead Expo Center) when leaving Lhasa city. And then along the Yarlung Zangbo River, the river reflects the high mountains and white clouds, the sky and water are the same color, which is very spectacular. Then climb over the mountain, the mountain road is rugged, coiled up, until the viewing platform at an altitude of 4998 meters. Yamdrok Yongcuo is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet and the largest inland lake at the northern foot of the Himalayas. The best time to view the lake is when the sun shines at noon, and the lake will show different colors due to different water depths. Due to the high altitude, we will return to Lhasa on the same road after watching the lake for 40 minutes. After entering the city, visit the second shopping spot (Tibetan Medicine College). This trip is only these 2 shopping spots, shopping is voluntary!
June 7: Namtso one-day tour. Lhasa is 226 kilometers away from Namtso. Since the 109 National Highway (Qinghai-Tibet Highway) is the main material transportation line, there are many large transport vehicles and the road is narrow, so it is inconvenient to drive. Part of the road is under construction on the way, and it is necessary to cross the Nyainqentanglha Pass (5190 meters). It takes 5 hours one way. Namtso is also one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. With an altitude of 4,771 meters, it is the highest inland saltwater lake. After a week in Tibet, the altitude sickness is not obvious. As long as you pay attention to it and don’t run away, you can get close to the lake and play in the snow on the mountain pass.
Return on June 8. It takes 2 days to enter Tibet by train, and only a few hours to leave Tibet by plane. However, there is no direct route from Lhasa to Shanghai, and it is necessary to transit in Chengdu, Chongqing, Xi'an or Kunming. I plan to stop by the revolutionary holy land of Yan'an on my return trip, so I asked for a return ticket to Xi'an in advance. In the morning, the driver sent us to Lhasa Gonggar Airport, took Tibet Airlines flight TV9883, and arrived at Xi’an Xianyang Airport in the afternoon. The pick-up driver will send us to the hotel, have Xi’an’s special piangpiang noodles for dinner, and rest after the meat folder.
June 9: Report to the group to participate in the "Yellow Emperor's Mausoleum-Hukou Waterfall-Yan'an Two-day Tour". Arrive at Huangling County at noon and visit the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor after lunch. From the Festival Square to Xuanyuan Temple, and then take a battery car up the mountain to the Mausoleum of the Yellow Emperor. It takes 2 hours to get to the Hukou Waterfall Scenic Area by car from Huangdi County. Today, the water potential is acceptable, but there are also many people. There is also a live performance of "Yellow River Cantata" in the scenic area. Proceed to Yan'an City via Yanhu Road. On the way, visit the former residence of the educated youth in Beijing. In addition to visiting, there are caves where you can also stay and eat. Arrive at the hotel in Yunyan Town before nightfall.
June 10: In the morning, go to Nanniwan, a good Jiangnan in northern Shaanxi, to take pictures, and then stop in front of Qingliang Mountain in Yan'an City for sightseeing. This is the best place to watch Yan'an Pagoda Mountain. On Qingliang Mountain, there are Song Dynasty Grottoes, Red Yan'an Period Central Printing Factory, Xinhua News Agency, Xinhua Radio Station, Jiefang Daily and other units. At the foot of the mountain is the News Square and the Yan’an News Memorial Hall. The Memorial Hall opens at 8:30. After a quick stroll around the place, you can return to the car and go to the next scenic spot, Yangjiaping, where you can visit the residence of the central leadership during the Yan’an period and the former site of the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Then go to Yan'an 1938 theme block for lunch, across the street is Zaoyuan---the residence of the Central Secretariat, and visit it by yourself after the meal. Then return to Xi'an and stay at the hotel near the railway station.
June 11: The newspaper group participated in the one-day tour of the "Huaqing Pool-Terracotta Warriors" on the east line. It was there in the 1980s and it is still a must-see attraction in Xi'an. Lintong is now full of high-rise buildings, which is not what it used to be. From the Wujian Hall to the Bingjian Pavilion, and then to the Tangchi site in the Tang Dynasty. After lunch, visit the Museum of Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shihuang. From the bronze chariots and horses to Pit No. 1, No. 2, and Pit No. 3, take a bus to the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang and return to Xi'an by bus. Get off at the Bell Tower in the city center and walk to Huimin Street for dinner.
On June 12, online booking of Z94 train back to Shanghai, departure at 16:46 pm. Take the time in the morning to go to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (the iconic scenic spot), and then visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. The museum has become an Internet celebrity in recent years, and 3,000 free coupons are distributed every morning and afternoon, and special exhibition tickets of 30 yuan and 300 yuan can also be purchased separately.
June 13: The train arrived at Shanghai Station at 7:57 on time, and the half-month Tibet and Shaanxi plateau challenge tour ended successfully, just in time to watch the World Cup.
