Foreword: This trip to Yunnan was originally planned for the Spring Festival in 2020. At that time, all the tickets and hotels were booked to see the red-billed gulls, but a sudden epidemic disrupted all travel plans. After half a year, the trip to Yunnan was restarted again. Although there were no red-headed gulls, the 20,000 mu of lotus in Puzhehei was in full bloom, which was another fascinating scene. Considering that the itinerary with the elderly and children should not be rushed, the entire itinerary is relatively loose. I have been thinking about writing a guide for many trips before, but I was delayed by various things. This is the first time I write a guide. I hope it can help everyone in their travels.
This trip is with my husband, parents, and children, a total of 4 adults and 1 child. The total cost is 22,000 (including high-speed rail, accommodation, meals, car rental, tickets, and transportation costs in scenic spots, excluding scattered expenses and shopping expenses for shopping and eating. ). Since my parents are over 70 years old and I am a medical worker, three adults are free. Now Yunnan has implemented a half-price ticket system, and only the husband and the child buy half-price tickets, so the ticket cost is saved a lot.
The total itinerary and accommodation are as follows:
The first day: Shenzhen - Kunming South - Puzhehei (high-speed rail) Accommodation: Puzhehei Lanyunju

The inn includes breakfast for the above three days, and dinner is eaten at the "red clay stove", which tastes good. Breakfast will be resolved depending on the progress of the tour.
The fourth day: Puzhehei - Dali, visit the ancient city of Dali Accommodation: Dali Flower God. Hermitage

Since we are bringing the elderly and children, the overall itinerary is relatively loose, and young people can save 2 days.
DAY1: Arrive at Puzhehei
The first stop of this trip is Puzhehei, which is located in Qiubei County, Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Puzhehei means "a lake full of fish and shrimp" in the Yi language.
Take the G2926 Shenzhen-Kunming South high-speed rail at 8:00 in the morning. It takes 7 hours to arrive at Kunming South Railway Station. If you don’t leave the station, you can transfer directly to the waiting hall. Take the D9854 power train to Puzhehei. From Kunming South to Puzhe The black train only takes 1 hour and 12 minutes.
It was already 5:08 p.m. when we arrived in Puzhehei. The inn arranged a vehicle pick-up (fee required), and it took about 40 minutes from the high-speed rail station to Puzhehei Village.
Accommodation: Puzhehei Lanyunju Inn The inn is located in Puzhehei Village, less than 5 minutes away from the main street of the village. It is convenient for shopping and very quiet at night. You can hear the rooster crowing in the distance at 4 o'clock in the middle of the night, hahaha very Interesting, the last time I heard a rooster crow was more than 30 years ago.
DAY2: Puzhehei Qinglong Mountain - Painting Boat Cruise
The next day, I had breakfast at the inn and officially started the journey to Puzhehei. Puzhehei Village is not big, and the main means of transportation in each scenic spot mainly rely on horse-drawn carriages and sightseeing battery cars. If you know how to ride a motorcycle, you can also rent a small motorcycle, which is more convenient. The rent is about 10 yuan per hour. This is the price during the epidemic. I don’t know if it will be expensive in normal times. Because we have old people and children, we basically travel by horse-drawn carriage. Every morning, there will be horse-drawn carriages parked at the door of various inns waiting to solicit customers. The price is 10 yuan per person, no matter the distance, children are free. In fact, the distance is very close and the price can be negotiated, about 5 yuan/person.
Today's main itinerary is Qinglong Mountain - Torch Cave - take a boat to visit Puzhehei Lake
Qinglong Mountain should be the highest point in Puzhehei. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can see the whole picture of Puzhehei Village. The mountain itself is not high but it is very steep. It is not easy to walk. It is best not to go up for the elderly and infirm. There are still one hour before the departure of the painting cruise ship from Qinglong Mountain. It may be that there are not many people during the epidemic, and the boat leaves every hour. Taking advantage of this free time, I went to the Torch Cave at the foot of Qinglong Mountain, which is a natural karst cave that is not small in scale.
After visiting the karst cave, it’s almost time to start the boat. Take a boat from Qinglongshan Pier to Shuangjiashan Pier, and pass through the Swan Lake scenic spot in the middle, a large lotus pond. There are two types of boats in Puzhehei: one is the painting boat we took, which is suitable for the elderly and children; the other is a small wooden boat, which is specially used for water fights. It is also very interesting for people on several boats to splash water on each other.
When the cruise ship arrives at Shuangjiashan Wharf, there is a ticket office for battery sightseeing cars. You can buy a pass for 30 yuan per person, and you can take unlimited rides on the day. We took a battery car to visit the Wetland Park, and then went back to the inn. At 6:30 in the evening, I chartered a car from the inn (100 yuan for a 7-seater car) to Leshuidong Village to watch the sunset.
DAY3: Swan Lake - the filming location of Sansheng III
Sleep until you wake up naturally, have breakfast, and take your beloved pony carriage to the Swan Lake scenic spot. Since there are no swans in the scenic spot in summer, it is actually just to see the lotus. We took the sightseeing car of the scenic spot (15 yuan/person) at the entrance to the central area of the scenic spot, and then walked back.
After coming out of the scenic spot, we had lunch on the side of the road, and then continued the carriage to the location where Sansheng III Shili Peach Blossom was filmed.
Back at the inn at 3:00 p.m., I went to the nearby Lover's Bridge to enjoy the idyllic scenery. There are not many strategies, just upload the picture directly.
Puzhehei summary: If you have good physical strength, two days of play time is enough. Our dinner was eaten at a "red mud stove" on the main street of Puzhehei Village. It was recommended by the innkeeper and we ate it on the first night. It tastes good, so I ordered different dishes at his house for three nights, and I had to queue up during peak hours. The special dish fried lotus must be eaten. It is lightly sweet and delicious.
DAY4: Puzhehei - Dali - ancient city
Sleep until you wake up naturally, have breakfast, charter a car to the station, and take the D8707 bullet train (10:53-14:46) to Dali.
It was nearly 4 o'clock in the afternoon when we arrived at the Dali Inn. After checking in, we took a rest and went to Dali Ancient City.
Accommodation in Dali: Dali Huashen.Hermitage Inn is located on Sanyue Street. It takes less than 10 minutes to walk to the west gate of the ancient city. During the stay, the inn can send a car to and from the ancient city for free.
DAY5: One-day tour around Erhai Lake
Today, the car tour of the Erhai Lake with the inn included all day, visited the ancient town of Quse, Shuanglang, and Xizhou, and visited the art of tie-dyeing flowers. It's a pity that the weather today is not particularly good, most of the days are cloudy, and occasionally it clears up, so the Erhai Lake doesn't look so blue. Back at the inn, the elderly and children were too tired to move, so my husband and I went to the bar in Dali Ancient City to be cool.
DAY6: Dali Three Towers, Dali-Kunming
Since it was a high-speed train at 1:00 noon, I visited the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple in Dali in the morning, which is also the only 5A scenic spot in Dali. There are sightseeing cars in the scenic area. Those with poor physical strength can take the sightseeing car to and fro, or they can take the sightseeing car up and then walk down by themselves. If you have good physical strength, you can walk up and down. The air inside is still very good, and you can meet squirrels by chance. In fact, the best place to watch the Three Towers Reflection is not in the Three Towers Scenic Area, but in the Three Towers Reflection Park next to it, and it takes more than ten minutes to walk between the two. Tickets for the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple can visit Reflection Park, but tickets are not sold separately.
At 1:00 p.m., take the bullet train to Kunming South Station, and pick up the train at Kunming South Station. In the next few days, I rented a car and drove around Kunming.
Accommodation for the day: Kunming Wuyuan Garden Villa The inn is in a group of villas, many of which have been transformed into inns. Not far from Dianchi Lake, go out and walk for about 10 minutes to the edge of Dianchi Lake.
DAY7: Stone Forest - Fuxian Lake
After breakfast in the morning, drive to the famous scenic spot Stone Forest. Due to the epidemic period, all scenic spots in Yunnan Province will implement half-price tickets until December 31, 2020. You can save some money, haha~~.
The Stone Forest Scenic Area is very large. First, arrive at the parking lot. From the parking lot, take a scenic sightseeing bus to the ticket office. The sightseeing bus for this journey is free. After buying the ticket, you have to take a sightseeing bus to reach the entrance of the scenic spot, and you will be charged for this section. It is recommended that you still take a sightseeing bus, because this distance is still a bit far away, and you can save your energy to go shopping in the scenic area. Hikers can consider walking :)
There is a large stone forest on the right hand side after entering the door, and a small stone forest on the left hand side (this point is only found after coming out of the small stone forest and returning to the original place). Generally, you visit the big stone forest first, and then take a sightseeing bus to the small stone forest. In fact, the many stone bud groups on the road are more spectacular. There are many stops between the big stone forest and the small stone forest, and you can get off and play halfway.
After visiting the stone forest, go to the next stop: Yuxi Fuxian Lake

DAY8: Visit Fuxian Lake Moon Bay Wetland Park, Luchong Scenic Area, and return to Kunming
Fuxian Lake is 1,721 meters above sea level, with a maximum water depth of 157 meters and an average water depth of 87 meters. In terms of depth, it is the first deep-water lake in Yunnan Province and the second deep-water lake in China after Changbai Mountain Tianchi. The water quality is very good, Dianchi Lake is green, and Fuxian Lake is azure blue. Very suitable for children, this is the only attraction that children refuse to leave :)
The Junlin Holiday Hotel where we stayed is just across the road from Moon Bay Wetland Park. After breakfast, we crossed the road and came here. We can ride bicycles and row boats. Children prefer to play in the sand.
After visiting Luchong Scenic Area, drive back to Kunming

DAY9: Dianchi Lake - Xishan Scenic Area - Golden Palace
In the morning, drive to Haigeng Park and buy a ticket for Dianchi cable car across Dianchi Lake. Because we have to drive back, we bought a round-trip ticket of 70 yuan per person, which is quite cost-effective. Take the cable car directly to the entrance of Xishan Park (15 yuan/person for half price of tickets), then enter the scenic spot and transfer to the small cable car (25 yuan/person, half price for children) to go up, and then take a sightseeing car (10 yuan/person) after visiting the scenic spots Come down, this is the most energy-saving.
Accommodation: Kunming Grand Park Hotel
After descending from Xishan Mountain, take the return cable car back to Haigeng Park, and drive for about 40 minutes to Wu Sangui's back garden - the Golden Palace. Here we need to remind friends who drive by themselves, because we don’t know that the car can drive directly to the mountain, so the navigation guide is the west gate. From here, you have to climb 200 steps, and then walk for a while to reach the main scenic spot. If you are driving directly to the north gate, you can park the car at the entrance of the main scenic spot, which can save a lot of energy.
DAY10: Army Lecture Hall, Kunming - Shenzhen
