This is a poem by the famous poet Haizi. Tonight, I am also in Delingha. So, what would be in such a place? The loneliness in the dark night in the poem, the desolation of the Gobi Desert in the legend, a person's thoughts are endless. There is nothing to speak of except the unknown expectation.

In Northwest China, there is an extremely rich and huge basin, which is the Qaidam Basin, one of the four major basins in China. This is also the first impression we got when we first met Qaidam in the geography textbook.

The Qaidam Basin is the highest basin among the four major basins in my country. Here is not only a world of salt (such as Chaka Salt Lake), but also rich in oil, coal, and various metal deposits. "Qaidam" is Mongolian, meaning "vast", so the Qaidam Basin has the reputation of "cornucopia".

Keluke Lake-Tuosu Lake Nature Reserve

On the Huaitou Tala grassland about 50 kilometers away from Delingha, the capital of Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, there are two beautiful and quiet lakes, one large and one small, named Keluke Lake and Tuosu Lake. They are like huge mirrors shining on both sides, inlaid between the vast Gobi and the vast grasslands.

Keluke Lake is located in the northeast of the Qaidam Basin. It is Mongolian, meaning "a place with lush water and grass"

Keluke Lake is a good place to travel to the Qaidam Basin with its lush water and grass. Keluke Lake is a leaking lake. After the water of Bayingol swirls in the lake, it flows from the low-lying place in the south into another lake connected with it—Tuosu Lake.

Tuosu Lake, also in Mongolian, means "ghee". Surrounding Tuosu Lake is the endless Gobi Desert, where the lake is vast, the shores are open, and there is no shelter. When it is sunny, the lake is vast, the water and the sky are the same color, and it is spectacular; Sound and soul-stirring. Keluke Lake Travel Tips:

Tickets: Off-season, from November to April of the following year, when the lake is frozen, the fee is 10 yuan/person; in peak season, from May to October, the fee is 20 yuan/person.

Transportation: You can charter a car in Delingha City, the cost is about 80 yuan. You can also take the Delingha to Huaitou Tara shuttle bus, the fare is 10 yuan, and you can walk 3.5 kilometers to the scenic spot.

Southern Eight Immortals

The Southern Eight Immortals are located on the northern margin of the Qaidam Basin on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is a landform combination of intermittently extending elongated mounds and concave trenches, which is called Yadan landform by geologists.

"Yadan" is a Uighur language, which means "mound of earth with steep walls". It is also called "wind-eroded forest" and "sand stone forest". Due to the strong wind and sand erosion of the Hanhai salt-alkali flat in the Qaidam Basin, the cracks became larger and larger over time, and the original flat surface developed into many irregular ridges and grooves, which elongate along the direction of the prevailing wind. The ridges are getting bigger and smaller, and many unconnected mounds appear, forming a unique spectacle on the Gobi Desert, which is the famous "Yardang Landform".

Water Yardang Address Park is about an hour's drive from Nanbaxian. This is the only water Yardang landform discovered in the world, unique in the desert.

Because it is on the road, when taking pictures, you must pay attention to the passing vehicles. You must give way to the vehicles and do not rush, because most of them are large trucks, and they are difficult to stop. Remember safety first, and then you can take beautiful pictures. photos.

According to legend, when Genghis Khan led his troops through this place, the marigold left behind turned into a sea of gold. There is also a legend that a pair of golden sheep came down from the Yak Mountain to drink water by the lake. After tasting the mellow and sweet taste of the water, they refused to go back to the mountain and entered the lake, so the lake is called the Sea of Gold.

What surprises me the most about Jinzihai is that it perfectly integrates lakes, deserts, grasslands, Gobi, reeds and other landscapes. The west, northwest, and east sides of the sea are surrounded by sand hills. The sand is so delicate that you can't help but feel barefoot and have a more intimate contact with it. To the southeast of the sea are tall reeds and a nearly 100-meter grass belt, attracting birds, cattle and sheep to forage, play and rest.

Chaka Salt Lake is the smallest of the four major salt lakes in the Qaidam Basin, and it is also the earliest developed one.

Chaka Salt Lake is famous for its rich "Daqing Salt". Its salt grains are large and pure, and the salt taste is mellow. It is ideal edible salt but cannot be eaten directly. The annual rainfall in the lake area is small, and the amount of water injected into it every year is extremely small, coupled with strong evaporation, so its salt content is extremely high. Because the salt crystals contain minerals, which make the salt crystals appear blue-black, it is called "green salt".

Since it was not the rainy season when we went, there was not enough water on the lake surface, and it was difficult to form a reflection, which caused some difficulties for my photography. With a heart that discovers beauty and hardworking legs, you can always discover and photograph beautiful scenery.

Finally, I posted a black photo of myself. This is the first time I went to Chaka Salt Lake. It was still raining heavily in Wulan Town the night before. In the morning when we arrived at the Sky One scenic spot, the sky was clear. After taking the photo, we left again at noon. It started to rain.
