[Spend the money on the land of the motherland]
On July 21, 2020, the country will open up inter-provincial tourism; Guizhou announced that the tickets for tourist attractions in the province will be free; the air ticket from Nanjing to Guiyang will be discounted to about 20%; midsummer is a good time to travel in Guizhou. To feel the "cool Guiyang", to see the majestic waterfall in Huangguoshu, to see the strong ethnic customs in Xijiang Miao Village, to see the green mountains and beautiful waters in Xiaoqikong, Libo... This is the right time . Spend the money on the land of the motherland, where it is needed most...the time is too late. On the night of July 21, we took flight AQ1074 (ticket price 279 yuan) from Nanjing to Guiyang directly!
This article’s itinerary plan (transportation methods: flight, train, direct bus, urban bus)
July 21: (flight + shuttle) Nanjing - Guiyang (Su Guiyang)
July 22: (train + bus) Guiyang - Anshun. Tour Huangguoshu (Great Waterfall, Steep Pond, Tianxing Bridge) Three Waterfall Scenic Spots (Su Huangguoshu Town)
July 23: (Train + Shuttle) Tour the ancient city of Anshun in the morning, return to Guiyang in the afternoon, eat delicious food in Guiyang in the evening, and watch the night view of Jiaxiu Tower in Guiyang (stay in Guiyang)
I was waiting at Terminal T2 of Nanjing Lukou Airport, and my flight to Guiyang was delayed by 1 hour and 20 minutes.
In the evening, the flight arrived at the T2 terminal of Guiyang Longdongbao Airport, took the airport bus line 2, 10 yuan per person, 20 kilometers, about 40 minutes, got off at Guiyang Qingyun Road Station, and then walked south along Zunyi Road About 450 meters away, you will arrive at Guiyang Home Inn Zunyi Road (Ctrip booking, 109 yuan/big bed room). We chose to stay here. First, the hotel is less than 500 meters away from Guiyang Railway Station. The next step is to rely on the train to Anshun (Huangguoshu and Jiuzhou Ancient City) and Kaili (Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village). The transportation is very convenient and the fare is very convenient. The cheapest; the second is that the hotel is located in a residential area, with many dining options and affordable prices; the third is that the quality of brand hotels is guaranteed, and free luggage storage is also available.
On the morning of July 22, we took train K9581 from Guiyang Railway Station, the fare was 15 yuan, we drove on 07.05, and arrived at Anshun Railway Station on 08.16. Take bus No. 19 in Anshun, 1 yuan per person (about 35 minutes), arrive at Anshun Bus Passenger Transport West Station (next to Anshun High-speed Railway West Station), transfer to the Anshun-Huangguoshu through train, the fare is 22 yuan per person (departure from running water) , travel time 40 minutes), arrived at the visitor center of Huangguoshu Scenic Spot at 10 am as scheduled.
The current tickets of Huangguoshu Scenic Area are free of charge, and the sightseeing car in the scenic spot is 50 yuan + insurance fee of 10 yuan per person. For example, take the escalator through the mountains of the Great Falls (30 yuan for the up and 20 yuan for the down), and the Tianxing Bridge cableway is 10 yuan per time. Tourists can choose according to their needs.
The sign gate of Huangguoshu Scenic Area has now become a check-in place for tourists to come to Huangguoshu.
Our sightseeing car did not take the regular route. The first stop was not Tianxing Bridge (I learned later that the Tianxing Bridge scenic spot was closed due to flooding), nor Doupo Pond, but went directly to the Great Waterfall. Today, although it is not a holiday, there are many tourists going to the Great Falls. Ten years ago, we started to make the itinerary here, and today, we finally walked in the flow of people going to Huangguoshu Waterfall!
[The mighty Huangguoshu Waterfall]
Huangguoshu Waterfall is located in the lower reaches of Baishui River in Zhenning Buyi and Miao Autonomous County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, 45 kilometers southwest of Anshun City. Huangguoshu Waterfall was called Baishuihe Waterfall in ancient times, also known as "Huanggeshu" Waterfall (named for the widespread distribution of "Huanggeshu"). The Huangguoshu Waterfalls originate from the Baishui River section downstream of the Beipanjiang tributary of the Pearl River system. Among them, the Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in this section of the river, and it is also the fourth largest waterfall in the world and the largest waterfall in Asia. The waterfall is 77.8 meters high and 101 meters wide. It is a karst landform erosion type waterfall and is known for its vast water potential. Huangguoshu is now a national AAAAA-level scenic spot, and has reapplied for world natural and cultural heritage.
The highlight of Huangguoshu Waterfall is the waterfall, and the Luosi Bay of Rhinoceros Lake and Shuilian Cave are set against each other. Looking at the Great Falls, there are five viewpoints at different levels. (Pictured above) This is the highest viewing platform (called the first waterfall viewing platform). It is the first waterfall that tourists see on the way, and it is also the most crowded viewing platform for spectators. Here you can see the falling water at the top of the waterfall, but you can't see the rhino pool under the waterfall.
This is the second-level viewing platform (called the second waterfall viewing platform). Due to the shade of trees, it is difficult for you to fully feel the magnificence of the waterfall and its shock.
Here are the viewing plank roads and viewing platforms on the bottom two floors (known as the third and fifth waterfall viewing platforms). Facing the surging, rumbling, and rainbow-like waterfalls will make you suddenly happy and cheerful. Get up and become selfless. Here, you need to wear a raincoat or an umbrella so that your clothes will not be soaked by the steaming rain of the Great Falls.
As the rainy season has just passed, it is the best time to watch the Great Falls. At this moment, when you stand in front of the waterfall, you feel that your trip is worthwhile. This is probably the charm of Huangguoshu waterfall! Some people say: "You only need to see the most shocking scenery." This is probably the motivation for people to come to see the Great Falls from thousands of miles away!
There is a corner of the plank road on the fifth waterfall viewing platform. There are no shelters and relatively few tourists here. It is a good place to watch the waterfall.
After watching the big waterfall on the front, walk along the waterfall viewing plank road and walk across the bronze drum bridge in front of you. We walked to the side of the big waterfall opposite the Rhinoceros Lake.
Looking at Luosiwan in Rhinoceros Pond from Tonggu Bridge, you can hear the rumbling sound of the Great Waterfall and its vapor steaming up the mountain.
Along the stone steps on the west side of the Tonggu Bridge, you can walk to the lower right side of the Great Falls. This is the best place to watch the Great Falls (called the fourth viewing platform). From here, you can go up the stone steps to the viewing platform of Shuilian Cave on the back of the waterfall, and feel the charm of the waterfall from the inside of the cave to the outside.
"The water of the waterfall comes up, rushing to the river and never returning." Some people describe the waterfall as "a mighty river that swallows a thousand ravines. It surges into a rhinoceros pool. The silver man pours his strength, and the sound is like thunder. There is no rain in the sky and the slope is full of rain", this is the Huangguoshu Waterfall. At this moment, when you stand beside it, you can feel it rolling and rumbling above your head, but you can hardly express it in words!
"Several times I leaned on the railing and never got tired of watching him. I love him innocently and can be loyal to him." ——Huang Peijie of the Qing Dynasty, "Rhino Pond, Flying Waterfalls and Hanging Cliffs"
After watching the Great Falls, return to the Tonggu Bridge, walk along the plank road of the Rhinoceros Lake towards the direction of the waterfall through the mountain elevator, and then walk to the Tonggu Square. Looking back at the people looking at the scenery on the Tonggu Bridge, at this moment, people have also become the scenery in the scenery.
The common cultural symbol of the Buyi, Miao and Yao nationalities—the bronze drum can be seen everywhere in Guizhou.
With the Chinese Heart Knot, you can make your wish on the corridor of Tonggu Square for 10 yuan, and wish your beloved one a safe and happy life.
Our route to visit the Great Falls is to walk down from the entrance of the waterfall and go up the elevator. In this way, the waterfall can be seen in all directions from top to bottom, and it can also save the footwork of climbing from bottom to top when returning.
Two sections of mountain-crossing escalators with a vertical height of 75 meters and a length of 300 meters. Take it, and you can reach the exit of the Great Falls scenic spot in five minutes.
When you get to the exit of the Great Waterfall Scenic Area, you have to walk a pedestrian street about 1 kilometer, where there are various local snacks and souvenirs. After walking through the pedestrian street, there is still a section of fruit avenue. There is a huge locally produced fig that is very popular among tourists.
After walking through the fruit avenue, we returned to the parking lot of the Great Falls. So far, we have completed the whole process of viewing the Great Falls.
[The spectacular Doupotang Waterfall]
Return to the parking lot of the Great Waterfall Scenic Area and take a sightseeing bus. In about 10 minutes, we will arrive at the Doupotang Scenic Area. Doupotang is the smallest scenic spot in Huangguoshu. Its highlights are Doupotang Waterfall and some of the filming locations when "Journey to the West" was filmed. If you come to Huangguoshu and only want to go to the Doupotang scenic spot, you don’t need to spend the cost of taking a sightseeing bus. You can go all the way from the tourist center (less than 1.8 kilometers one way) and walk there by yourself.
From the entrance of Doupotang Scenic Area to Doupotang Waterfall, the journey takes about 20 minutes. There are two trails to choose from, one is the plank road (the journey is slightly longer, there are mural stories and figure statues from "Journey to the West" along the way); the other is the stone step road (the journey is shorter and the scenery is less). For this reason, we choose stone steps to enter and plank roads to exit. In this way, you can enjoy the Doupotang Scenic Area in all directions.
Walking along the stone steps beside the Baishui River for a while, you will arrive at a stone bridge connecting the two banks of the river. Here, you can go to the viewing platforms on the left and right sides of Doupotang Waterfall respectively. We chose to go straight ahead and go to the main viewing platform on the left side of the waterfall.
Doupotang Waterfall is located about 1 km upstream of Huangguoshu Waterfall. The top of the waterfall is 105 meters wide and 21 meters high. It is the widest waterfall in the Huangguoshu Waterfall Group. On the top of Doupotang Waterfall, there is a huge melting pool with an area of 15,000 square meters. The waterfall is formed on a calcified beach dam that is more than 100 meters long. It is said that Doupotang Waterfall has a special scene: whenever a huge flood passes by, the caves in the calcified beach bar will produce a peculiar flute effect, making a deep and deep cry, so Doupotang Waterfall is also called " Roar Waterfall".
Another feature of Doupotang Waterfall is that there is a wide and flat beach below the waterfall. There are dozens of bitan pools of different sizes all over the beach, the shallowest bitan is tens of centimeters, and the deepest bitan can reach several meters. "I heard the sound of water roaring in the distance, looking north from the gap, suddenly there was water rushing down from the cliff in the northeastern mountain armpit, and smashed into the deep abyss, but I saw it was white and wide several feet wide, and snow gushed through the sky, but I didn't see it below. Cut, the cover is also separated by the opposite cliff." This is the original description of Doupotang Waterfall in the famous Chinese geography book "Xu Xiake's Travel Notes". Doupotang Waterfall is also the classic ending of "Journey to the West"-the Tang monk, master and apprentice four people walked on the waterfall.
There are about three viewpoints on the right side of Doupotang Waterfall (the front beach, the back beach and the high railing), among which the visual effect of the high railing viewing point is the best.
Looking at Doupotang Waterfall from a high viewing platform, you can have a panoramic view of the spectacular Doupotang Waterfall. The Doupotang Waterfall in front of you is sometimes gentle and sometimes ups and downs. The water flows along the relatively flat beach surface, and sometimes arouses huge waves, dancing lightly and happily on the shiny calcified beach surface. Like layers of transparent veils and pieces of plain silk fans, they glow silver in the sky. Therefore, Doupotang Waterfall is also called "Bride's Veil".
After watching the Doupotang Waterfall, we walked the plank road back to the entrance of the scenic spot. In front of you is the stone carving picture beside the plank road. The picture records the mythical stories of the four Tang monks, masters and apprentices in Journey to the West who went to the west to learn Buddhist scriptures and experienced "ninety-nine and eighty-one difficulties".
Bougainvillea in bloom beside the plank road.
Xiake Pavilion - built to commemorate Mr. Xu Xiake, an incomparable geographer, great traveler and writer. If you come to Doupotang to see the waterfall, please don’t forget to visit Mr. Xu Xiake!
After visiting Mr. Xu Xiake, the tour of Doupotang Scenic Area is over. We immediately took a sightseeing bus to the Tianxing Bridge scenic spot in Huangguoshu.
[Yinzhuantan Waterfall passing by raglan shoulders]
Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot is located 7 kilometers downstream of Huangguoshu Waterfall, and is the largest scenic spot in Huangguoshu. There is the famous Yinzhuitan Waterfall here. The scenic spot is mainly composed of three areas, namely the Tianxing Basin Scenic Area, Tianxing Cave Scenic Area, and Water Stone Forest Area. The Tianxing Bridge Scenic Spot is densely populated with stalagmites and lush vegetation. It integrates mountains, water, forests and caves. ".
It's a pity that we arrived here that day (pictured above), and some roads in the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area were destroyed due to floods. At present, only two unknown scenic spots, "One Step Bridge" and "Gao Laozhuang" are open in the scenic area, and the rest of the scenic spots are closed. Our plans to see Yinzhuitan Waterfall, Tianxing Cave and Water Stone Forest fell through.
Here is the famous Huangguoshu Baishui River rafting, a sport for the young and the brave. Due to flooding, rafting is currently closed.
After returning to the parking lot of Huangguoshu Visitor Center, we walked north along the Yingbin Avenue for about 1 kilometer, and we came to (Ctrip booking, 77 yuan/big bed room) Shangkeyou Huangguoshu Store. The service and cleanliness of the hotel are as good as the reviews on the Internet. In this picturesque place where every inch of land is expensive, we can have such a cheap and good accommodation, which greatly exceeds our expectations. So far, we have ended the whole trip of Huangguoshu. If you want to say that there is any regret in this trip to Huangguoshu, it is to pass by the Yinzhuitan Waterfall!
[The well-deserved ancient town of Jiuzhou]
On the morning of July 23, we took the bus from Huangguoshu Bus Station to Anshun East Bus Station (not Anshun West Bus Station), the fare was 22 yuan, and the journey took about 1 hour. Anshunxiu West Passenger Station), transfer to the shuttle bus bound for Anshun Jiuzhou Town, 13 yuan/person, 32 kilometers, about 50 minutes, get off at (terminal station) Jiuzhou Town Passenger Station, and you will arrive at the famous old Zhou Town.
The ancient city of Jiuzhou is now a town under the jurisdiction of Xixiu District of Anshun, located 37 kilometers southeast of the city. Jiuzhou Ancient Town is a famous historical and cultural town in China, and is now a national AAAA-level scenic spot, a national civilized town, and a livable and leisure town in China. As early as the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, Jiuzhou Town was the seat of Anshun Prefecture. From the Zhengzhi to eleventh year of the Yuan Dynasty (1351), Anshun Prefecture was established here, and it was promoted to Anshun Prefecture in the 30th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1602). As an important post station on the old tea-horse road, it has a history of more than 600 years and has been the state capital of Anshun for more than 250 years. Its reputation is so great that it was once called the first state in the Southwest.
The biggest attraction of Jiuzhou Ancient Town is the well-preserved and original Tunbao-style ancient buildings and ancient dwellings. The residential style here is supported by wooden structures. The front eaves, gates and courtyards are all decorated with wooden boards, the walls are built with stone blocks, and the roof is covered with thin stone slabs. Every household is composed of a courtyard house, each family is adjacent to each other, dozens or hundreds of houses are connected to each other, and the town and village form a whole like a military camp. The interior of the village is connected to each household through winding alleys, with solid stone walls built around it, and a village gate facing the intersection outside the town. The whole town has typical architectural cultural characteristics of the Central Plains.
Today's Jiuzhou ancient town has eight scenic spots: Fufeng Yedi, Bibo Qiuyue, Linshan Qinglan, Huayan Evening Bell, Nandi Green Willow, Beiling Hanmei, Cuiwei Spring Mist, Wenge Sunset and so on. The ancient city integrates sightseeing, calligraphy, painting, photography, folk culture and special food. Coupled with the 45,000 acres of Fendai flowers blooming in Jiuzhou's flower sea from September to October every year, it has become a popular tourist destination in Anshun and even Guizhou.
Toast Restaurant, a favorite spot for photography enthusiasts.
The drainage system of the ancient town has a history of more than 600 years, and it is still functioning today.
Jiuzhou Inn (also known as Liu’s Old House on South Street) is a good place for photographers to stay, experience the customs and customs of the ancient town, and take pictures of night scenes.
Every street and lane here, every building and garden house has its own story.
The stone wall is connected to the secluded area, guarded by a strong man, and a hundred men are not allowed to enter. The stone walls, stone walls, and slate tiles in front of you are the core charm of this ancient city, and they are real and vivid precious relics. Although it has gone through more than 600 years of historical vicissitudes, it is still so well preserved. Standing here, you seem to see the scene of people's life and work in those days.
Women of the Qing nationality (a branch of the Miao nationality) in the ancient city live leisurely and happily here, and still insist on their small business every day. It is said that the ancient city still continues its 600-year national tradition. Every year there are mainly: Tiaoshendixixi, making lanterns, Miao people dancing flowers, Guanyin meeting, Buyi people's "March 3rd", Qingming "Tibetan Lixia", Dragon Boat Festival tour of all diseases, May 28th "City God Parade", July and a half Traditional folk festivals such as "River Lantern Release", Chongyang "Send Cold Clothes", Laba "Buddha's Enlightenment Festival", December 23rd "Sacred Kitchen God", New Year's Eve "Zhangmen Lantern".
"An ancient town is like a poetry town", every gate here has couplets related to the most historically written couplets, each couplet is full of poetic and picturesque, highlighting the profound cultural heritage everywhere.
"The ancient town is like a flower town", the love of flowers is probably the tradition of the people of the ancient town. The streets and alleys here, in front of the house and behind the house, are planted and filled with various flowers everywhere.
The rare gatekeeper stone, also known locally as Shuanma Zhuang, fully demonstrates the ancient charm of the ancient town.
No. 58 West Street, a first-class protected building, this protection method seems inconspicuous, but the ancient city of Jiuzhou has been restored in this way, not only maintaining its original style, but also endowing it with comfortable living functions. Little by little is well protected. Nowadays, many places have frequently demolished and rebuilt ancient cities or rebuilt them blindly, making many ancient cities not ancient and neither fish nor fowl, and the charm of ancient cities has long been lost. The protection of the ancient town of Jiuzhou is a successful example.
When we came to the ancient town, we got off next to the sign in front of us. After that, walk along the sequence of South Street-West Street-North Street-East Street. At noon in a small restaurant in the ancient town of Dashizi, I ate a good bowl of rice for 12 yuan per person, then ended the tour of the ancient town and went to the town passenger station.
After walking past the "Nandi Green Willow", one of the eight scenic spots in Jiuzhou, you will arrive at the Jiuzhou Town Bus Station. We took the shuttle bus from the passenger station back to Anshun Tourist Distribution Center, walked for 5 minutes to Anshun Railway Station, and took K9356 (15.24—16.38) to leave Anshun. At this point, we ended our entire trip in Anshun. After returning to Guiyang Home Inn Zunyi Road before 5:00 p.m. on the same day, take a short rest and then go to Guiyang's famous restaurant "Tree Kitchen Authentic Guizhou Cuisine (Dashizi Branch) to enjoy Guizhou cuisine.
[Guiyang tree kitchen food with different tastes]
We take bus No. 1 from the front of the hotel, 1 yuan, 4 stops, get off at Dashizi bus stop and walk about 350 meters, the journey takes 25 minutes. That is to say, we came to Guiyang "Tree Kitchen Authentic Guizhou Cuisine Restaurant (Dashizi Branch).
Behind the building in front of you is the famous Shuchu Authentic Guizhou Cuisine Restaurant (Dashizi Branch). Dude" is similar. It is famous for its large amount of dishes and authentic taste. The origin of the name of the tree chef is that there is a big tree passing through the restaurant, hence the name tree chef restaurant. It is said that the dining atmosphere here is relaxed, and the environment is simple and elegant. Most of them are batik ornaments and carved wooden screens, full of strong Guizhou style. The main dish here is "mother's dishes". Spicy hot pot fish, spicy chicken, and scallion beef are its signature dishes.
Here, we picked a small restaurant with fewer customers. According to the restaurant's recommendation, I ordered two signature dishes of spicy hot pot fish and spicy chicken, and added a local special dish of rice tofu with minced meat. And repeatedly asked the receptionist of the restaurant to make the dishes as clear as possible, and asked to subtract 3/4 of the spicy and salty.
It is the first time to taste authentic Guizhou cuisine, we are full of expectations, and we are ready to enjoy the "good food". Probably "one side of the water and soil support the other side of the people", the taste of Guizhou cuisine is spicy, spicy, salty, sour + greasy. It looks like a tempting table dish, but it is not suitable for our taste. Except for the taste of the spicy chicken, which I can barely adapt to, the other two dishes are hard to swallow, let alone spicy and salty, I can only say that it is weird! In particular, there are a lot of peppercorns in the rice tofu with minced meat. Apart from the "creaking" sound in the mouth, you can't feel the "mother taste" at all!
[Night view of Jiaxiu Tower that must be seen]
After coming out of the tree kitchen restaurant, the lights of Guiyang are now on. We walked all the way to the famous Jiaxiu Tower in Guiyang to see the night view.
In front of you is the snack street on Fushui South Road, Guiyang, also known as Quanlin Pedestrian Street Food Plaza. There are many restaurants and restaurants along the street, and there are a lot of diners, all kinds of Guizhou dishes, hot pot barbecue, red and hot seasoning bottoms, spicy, salty and fragrant, all lined up. Here, we have witnessed how Guizhou people love to eat and dare to eat. We are not happy with what we eat, and we are also "ashamed" of what we eat!
Facing the cool night wind in Guiyang, we walked for about 1 kilometer all the way to the famous Jiaxiu Tower by the Nanming River in Guiyang. The sky is full of blue at this moment, which is a good time to watch the night scene.
Jiaxiu Tower, one of the famous buildings in ancient China, is located on the Nanming River in the south of Guiyang City. It was built on the basis of a huge stone in the river. It was first built in the Ming Dynasty, the back building was destroyed and rebuilt, and it was renamed "Laifeng Pavilion". In the Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt many times and its original name was restored. Jiaxiu Tower was built on the Aoji stone in Hanbitan, south of the city. From ancient times to the present, Jiaxiu Tower has gone through six large-scale repairs and 400 years of wind and rain, and it still stands tall. It has witnessed the 400-year history of Guiyang's city building.
Jiaxiu Tower is a three-story, four-corner pointed attic, and its structure is unique in the history of ancient Chinese architecture. The total height of the building is 20 meters, and the cornices are angled, retractable and retractable, and stand upright. The ground floor of the building is supported by 12 stone pillars, and the fence is carved with white marble. The floating jade bridges at both ends of the building are like white dragons lying on the waves, with a total length of more than 90 meters, running through both sides of the river. There is Hanbi Pavilion on the bridge, Hanbi Pool and Water Moon Platform under the bridge, and Cuiwei Pavilion in the south of the bridge, echoing each other from afar. Every night, there are many tourists and people linger here.
Cuiwei Garden in Jiaxiu Tower is an ancient Ming and Qing architectural complex composed of Gongnan Pavilion, Cuiwei Pavilion and Longmen Academy. Now it is the exhibition hall of traditional costumes of ethnic minorities in Guizhou. Hundreds of traditional costumes, hand embroidery, folk batik, etc. of the Miao, Dong, Yi, Shui, Ge, Tujia, Buyi and other ethnic minorities in Guizhou are collected here, which is a concentrated expression of the culture and art of ethnic minorities in Guizhou. . Cuiwei Garden is open to tourists during the day, and each person who enters the park is 2 yuan.
Tonight in Guiyang, the sky is bright and the moon is bright. After watching the beautiful night view of Jiaxiu Tower, we walked along the Nanming River with bright lights all the way back to the hotel. Tomorrow, we will bid farewell to "Sweet Guiyang" and go to the next destination - Qianhu Miao Village in Xijiang. In this regard, we have new expectations!
